Good product functionally but unreliable.
Good product worked well but only for 3 months had to return it for repair.
Tefal never go wrong, Fantastic Steam Iron...
Excellent quality and robust steam Iron an upgrade in my last model which I had for 7 years before it started to play up.
The amount of steam is excellent, the removable refill pot for water is so much more convenient. The steam is more controllable, allowing for faster ironing and less damage to clothes.

Takes the strain out of ironing.
This is a super iron that takes the strain out of the ironing. East to set up and use. It is heavier than a normal iron and bulkier so take that in to account for storage. It irons very well and smooths out creases on more difficult materials. Delighted with this purchase.

I love this steam iron because it does not need to be very hot yet the steam leaves crushed items looking smooth like new .
Ironing made easy!
This is the 2nd Tefal steam station I have bought. Love the fact that they iron efficiently and I don’t have to keep refilling with water. Only negative point of this new iron compared to my old one is that the cord doesn’t retract automatically…. just takes a little longer to store the flex.
NEVER BUY A RECONDITIONED IRON
we purchased in good faith this iron which was expensive and after three months it is no longer working – I really don’t find this acceptable as we now have to return the iron and we are on lock-down which isn’t going to make it easy.

ANOTHER EXCELLENT TEFAL STEAM GENERATOR
Unfortunately my old Steam Generator iron by Tefal has given up the ghost after a few years of high intense use. I make curtains etc and it was used alot. I bought another one and I have to say that after getting used to its different features I love it. It has got a smaller tip to the iron which makes it more easier to get into small spaces. I love the water tank which clips off the iron and you can take it to a tap to fill instead of having a jug of water on the side which can get knocked over. All in all I am really pleased with it.

Best bit is that you can turn the iron on/off on the iron station itself, so no bending down to the socket. (old person!)
Performs well, is very quiet but I would prefer it if you could refill the water tank at the station rather than having to take the tank to the sink.

Brill iron , the whole thing is slightly heavy, and it takes a little while to come out of eco mode so when you just want get the ironing done that can be a little frustrating!!

Fantastic design lightweight, easy to fill water compartment, heats up really quickly, handy storage for steam hose and plug lead ensure neat and tidy storage, three settings, powerful punch of steam makes light work of even the toughest creases and screwed up garments, auto shut off and sleep mode very useful . Can’t find any fault with it !!!

Tefal steam generator iro
I previous had a tefal steam generator iron and was looking forward to using this updated model, I have however been very disappointed that it has no real temperature regulator Control. It seems not hit enough without putting it on to the jeans setting and then the steam output on this setting is too much for some fabrics. A backward step in my opinion.

I have had the Tefal Pro prior to my purchase.The workload they undertake without any problems is really good.This purchase is not because i have had a problem with my previous model.I have had it a good few years.I have taken advantage of the low price because i am worried i could not afford a new one in the future should my old iron pack in.My new model is really sleek and powerful.Very happy with my purchase

Be self cleaning, (cleaned when it felt like it, not when needed it). There customer service were terrible, just told me to stand over sink with it on continual steam. Amazon gave me a refund and I bought this one. A joy to iron again, it does everything it’s supposed too. I am now gliding through my ironing. If you are looking for a steam generator iron that works like it is supposed to this is the one. AMAZING!!

his was bought following the demise of our old model after 15 yrs. this one has several improvements. including technology which removes the need for changing settings during ironing, calcium spoon for removing debris from the boiler. removable filler tank. It was readily excepted by my wife as being a great improvement on old version..
hopefully it will last as long as the old one.

Anti calf works well but spits brown occasionally (only seems to happen when the Mrs is using it)

I was looking to buy the same Siemens one or any other steam generator of same make, however they look unavailable in the UK or probably discontinued. So I started looking at different brands and reached to this Tefal iron which I received a day ago.
Good points:
– looks nice and does the job
– long enough plug and steam wires
– the steam is coming clean and constant
– it is ready hot quickly
– not too bulky
– the water tank comes out for filling
– can be kept upright on the ironing board (I need to get used to this)
– does the job!
Now the “disappointing my expectations” or “comparing with my old one” points:
– it is very heavy, twice as heavy as the old Siemens;
– when I press the button for the steam to be released the click sound is loud and “plastic-ky” not rubbery soft;
– it does not have a separate pad to be kept on the ironing board while hot and in use (however it can be left upright if the station is further). I prefer the station not on the ironing board to avoid accidents with the kids (see the picture with the IKEA Kallax shelf), therefore I always keep id down. Since the cord is long enough it is ok I guess, but still I would preferred a separate pad for the ironing board.
Overall looks like a good product. Less one star mainly because of its weight in hand while in use.
If it lasts for as long as my old one which was in the same price range, I will be very happy!

Didn’t really want to spend this much as my previous Bosch iron cost around 180. But then you get what you pay for and that is certainly the case with this iron. Absolutely fantastic. Glad I paid that bit more.

Works perfectly
This iron replaced a much older (16 years!) Tefal steam generator iron which had started to leak water. This replacement is so much easier to use – lighter in weight, quicker to heat up and very quick to iron with. Extremely happy with this iron and do not hesitate to recommend it.

Tefal GV8932 Pro Express Plus
I love this Iron. Its my latest in a long run of irons. Yes I do have a problem with ironing. All my clothes are cotton so need to be ironed. However once you use an iron like this you never want to go back to the old style of irons. This one makes mincemeat of ironing. Yes I do recommend it. I just managed to break my last older version of this iron, hence this purchase.

This is my third generator, I only seem to go for tefal, it’s light to iron with but I haven’t as yet worked out the controls but I haven’t burnt anything yet so that’s a plus. It seems ok and quite, my other one was so noisy so that’s a bonus. Came very quickly.

Been using this for a couple of months now. Extremely happy with it. This is my third Tefal in 15 years. You can pull out the thing to fill it up with water. Excellent steam flow and easy to use.
Bought to replace my iron (same model but 15 yrs old) excellent iron. My only gripe is that this model is a fraction larger and doesn’t quite fit on to the stand of my ironing board (bought specifically for previous iron) so caution is needed. (See picture 2) but, as an iron …. it’s the best thing since slice bread.

The only thing I don’t like about this particular model is the spray button underneath the handle, for me, isn’t quite in the right place and it really digs into my finger. By the end of an ironing session my finger is red and sore. Had I have known this I would probably sourced another steam generator iron.

There is an improvement on my last steam generator, the cords wrap away conveniently. I am very pleased with it but haven’t tried the calc cleaner yet. I had my last one between 14/15 years.

Best iron I've ever had
This must be the fifth iron of this type I’ve had over the last 30 years. This one is the best. Ironing is so easy, even linen and very creased cotton iron really well and it is great for delicate fabrics. My other irons needed programming but this one is so easy to use. Not a bit complicated, just a couple of buttons to press and success every time. And, it turns itself off if left unattended, which is a great bonus. The water container is easy to remove and refill and the iron is much lighter than my other models. Best purchase I’ve made in a long time. Love it!!
Good results
The steam iron is very powerful which gives good results; the water tank has good capacity. It is noisy compared to a standard iron. I use it with a recommended Brabantia mesh/net ironing board which is wet underneath by the time I have finished so water can drip on the floor – not a big deal but worth knowing.

I love this iron. Great quality. Delivers loads of steam. It is the pointiest base I’ve had on an iron which is great for fiddly things like shirts.

Does all that you need. large tank. iron not too heavy but right weight to get a good finish. Removable tank easy to fill. Would highly recommend.
This iron process excellent results with little effort. My only “niggle” is that stowing the cable and its plug is a bit time consuming – not as well thought out as the steam tube stowage.

Tefal Steam Iro
This iron is lovely. It certainly cuts my ironing time down. I have had this type of iron for several years but this is the best one yet. I did have to buy a new ironing board as mine was really not wide enough. Only problem (but not really a problem) is that it is a bit heavier than my previous iron.
Does the job well very good on jeans especially and like some one has also mentioned in a review it does take the pain out of ironing compared to normal ironing sessions.

Makes ironing easy and quick. Large water tank enables me to get through my ironing quicker without pausing. Not a chore anymore. The only thing I don’t like is my ironing board gets wet. I may need to look for an alternative or have a spare cover.
Very well designed, easy to use and very effective. Although the iron felt a little heavy initially, we soon got used to it and have been delighted with its performance. Storage of the steam lead and the flex is ingenious and keeps it all neat and tidy for storage.
