The Ingenio concept is built around a patented detachable handle that attaches and detaches with one click, turning frying pans into oven dishes, and saucepans into baking tins, serving dishes or storage containers.

Probably the best pot set I’ve ever bought has everything you need and you save so much space not having the handles on the pots clip on handles are very sturdy would recommend to anybody

The only thing is where you connect the pan handle it marks the edges of the pan. I suppose it needs to be tight fit for safety so cannot be helped.

The pans themselves are great – quick and even heating, plus a good non-stick that will last a long time. Use protectors in between the pans in the cupboard to extend their life even further.
But the real gem is the removable handle, making sure they take up a great deal less space in the cupboard, and minimises the handles sticking out over work surfaces – very useful in small kitchens.
Worth the money for sure. You just might have to save up for a bit first.
Used these for the first time since bought at Xmas, easy stack when washed, I can’t give a review on the pan it self whilst cooking as my other pans were the same easy clean at first.. now a good soak and lot of elbow grease they come up trumps, so time will tell, but for now I’m really pleased with purchase May consider upgrading all pans like this as we do use a lot on certain days specially with a large family.. shame with one handle with a five stack pan order need two really if you have a large cooke
I would highly recommend this pan set. The price was great. In some stores the pans are over 200. I feel I’ve got a great quality pan set. A perfect amount of pans. So easy to store. Neat and tidy in the cupboard.
My wife says the handles dint the top edge of the pans .. I think she’s been taping with metal cooking spoons

This is the 2nd lot of these pans I’ve had – I would advise against putting them in the dishwasher as it eventually damages the non stick

I already owned a set of these for my apartment. When it came to buying another set for my new house, it was a no brainer to stay with the same.
Relatively cheap for such a quality brand, quantity of items and the quirkiness of the space saving design. My partner loves these.
Bought these as a replacement set for our caravan. These stainless steel pans stack inside one another and save loads of space with no fixed handles. High quality pans, really are non-stick and very easy to clean. Detachable handle fits very firmly to pans and is easy to remove. Flat lids are great, handles remain cool. I’m sure they will have a long life. Three pans with lids and one detatchable handle.
I was a little sceptical before I bought these pans but truly impressed now I have them. They save a lot of space, are easy to clean and work really well. The removable handle makes life easier while cooking as it doesn’t get in the way!

I used Tefal before. I don’t like this Tefal Ingenio Essential. As the steam escapes when you cooking. I used one with handle before. I find the one with handle one are batter.
I bought these after my wife had a stroke and I now have to do the cooking. The removeable handle works better than I feared it might and the 3 saucepans are easy to keep clean. It is a lot easier to wash and to store the pans when they don’t have a protrudung handle getting in the way. The pans also look smart enough to use as a serving dish if necessary. Very classy lids which stack neatly. It was only the day after I bought the pans that I saw an article about non-stick finishes like this being an environmental hazard. So they may be better avoided if you feel strongly about that. However, if the pans have a good lifetime they may cause less problem than pans which have to be chucked out more frequently. We’ll see.
The saucepan set is wonderful, with one handle to serve all the pans and great storage with only one handle that is so easy to move about from pan to pan. Very attractive set of pans with no handles to take up space.
The pans themselves are really good quality and stack well. However, the handle is of poor quality and dangerous as the mechanism used to arrange to the pans either sticks or releases so be careful. I contacted the company I purchased it from who responded by saying they could not find a record of the sake and that I should contact Tefal. Would not buy agai
Brought these to replace the old ones which have lasted approx 9 years with daily use. Light, dishwasher safe pans which take up little room in the pan drawer. Worth it.
Very pleased with these saucepans and the detachable handle makes them much easier to store. I purchased them during a sale day and I bought them with a 10 discount, which was an extra bonus, I would highly recommend them.
Wanted more space in the kitchen and this pan set does just that. I especially love the handles that transfer from pot to pan as I have others that also go with the handle.

These pans stack nicely and take up less space than traditional pans. Non stick coating is good and they clean easily. Handles attach firmly and don’t wobble about. I find traditional screw on handles inevitably come loose and there is a limit to how many times you can adjust them, I’ve had to get rid of otherwise perfectly good pans due to loose handles. With this design you can just replace a handle. The only downside is the handles are not designed to stay attached while on the hob.
Versatile can be used on the hob and in the oven easy to store as the handles come off, not had any problems with the clip on handles. Cannot use on induction hobs
Love the Tefal saucepans and frying pans with the detachable handles. I have the frying pans and decided to get the saucepans to go with them. These are similar to the frying pans I have, and they really are nice. However, if like me, you have an Induction Hob, do not buy this particular set, as they don’t work. When reading the description, I read including instead of excluding Induction Hobs. Thankfully I tried them out before putting them away. Gutted, as they were a good deal.

Only one handle supplied take care that you remove whilst cooking as they can melt.
We purchased these items for use in our Motorhome, they are compact and therefor take up less space – the detachable handle is essential and works extremely well. They are light but feel good quality and they are easy to clean, everything we wanted.
I am happy with this saucepan set
I keep them neatly in my cupboard, I’ve used the cardboard packing separators that came with the pans, this will stop them clunking together and scratching the non-stick coating.
The handle seems ok, I’ve used it a good few times and it hasn’t damaged any pans, it’s a bit awkward to clean sometimes if food gets underneath the part that clamps on and it’s not recommended to leave the handle attached during cooking so it’s a bit of a pain to have to keep attaching and detaching during use. It’s worth it though for the extra cupboard space. The lids seem to fit fine and stack neatly on top of each other to save space, no more opening the cupboard door and pan lids falling out all over the place.
The coating is still like new just as I would expect from Tefal.
I have a ceramic hob now but know from past experience that if you have a cooker with gas rings you may find the pans are easy to topple over when the handle is attached, feels a bit handle heavy, especially with the smallest pan.
When my frying pans get older, and if the handle continues to work as expected, I plan to buy the frying pan set too so I can save even more space.
These pans are the best in the business, non stick and very easy to clean.

I renewed my pans as the old ones were teal but had them 25 years so replaced for teal as I value them and will get another 25 years .

I bought a single pan, but when I saw it I sent it back and bought the full set. These pans are great. Really light, but heat up really quickly and so easy to clean. The handles are easy to click on and off, which is good cos you don’t want to leave them in the pans while cooking…I burnt one first use. The plastic lids are great for leftovers in the fridge

Bought for use in our campervan as they stack really neatly. Haven’t used them yet as they just arrived today.they have been washed, dried and put away ready to go. They are nice sturdy pans with glass lids and the handle. Being Tefal I’m sure they will be fine not the most expensive pans in the world so if they last a couple of years I will be happy. Nothing not to like, they are as described.
Second set I have purchased. Only disppointment – water gets under lid handle and ‘rusts’ Even taking handle off could not get rid of it. This didn’t stop me buying another set. Storage great!

Storage really useful.
Detachable handles are great for storage but there are 2 disadvantages to them. Firstly is the rubber/ plastic on the plastic burns when left on a low frying pan during cooking. So this means putting them on to strain or serve the click has meant a jerk and a splash cycle.

Excellent for limited storage. Clipping handle on and off can be a bit awkward but it is nice not having it in the way on the hob, dishwasher and cupboard. Wish it was easier to clean handle as it does get mucky sometimes. Nice quality pans and sizes are great. Lids are nice, pour area is great as is the fold down handle on top.
They are slightly overpriced, but these items are really good. Very easy to clean, however, a larger-sized pot would have given more options/flexibility.

I liked the fact that these pots could be stored inside each other therefore taking up no space at all. I ordered another handle for the pots as when I had two on the stove I found it difficult removing the handle from one pot and fitting it on another but that is the only thing I would mention.

I’ve had these pots for nearly 4 years now, easy to store because of the detachable handle but most of the black coating has now scrapes away so not as long lasting as I would of liked

Bought as fed up of trying to store old pans in pan draw and the handles making it difficult to fit them all in. This is a perfect solution!!
The pans themselves are good, but they are let down by their lids, which allow steam to escape all around and end up showering the hob with a fine spray of boiling water when used for boiling potatoes etc. I now just use my old normal lid which vents through a hole in the top of the lid and is much safer. Although now of course the old lid has to be removed to use the handle. Would I buy them again – probably not as I now have 3 new lids that are not safe to use. Thank goodness I kept my old style Tefal lids!
I wanted to some nice new pans, but didn’t have much space for storage. These are ideal. I love the no handles option, as this makes for easy storage. The pans are good quality and very sturdy. The only downside would be the handles, there is a small piece that keeps coming off, but this doesn’t detract from the use, as it easily put back on. A bit pricey, but so far so good.
Got them for my partner for Xmas as he wanted them, still a surprise for him there great to clean easy for space saver but I will say when on the stove you’ll have to be a little carefully as where there so perfectly addressed if you move it slightly it might come off so you’ll have to be good
I’ve had these pans for years and not always been careful to use non stick utensils so the bottoms wore out. Had to get replacements. These pans are great in so many ways. They have a detachable handle so you can cook with them, then put them in the oven, fridge or straight to the table without it. They’re easy to store as they fit neatly one inside the other. With a removable handle this brilliant idea solves the issue with space. These heat up very quickly so saves on energy and clean well. My only gripe was the I have a small scratch on the inside of my large pan was couldn’t return it unless I returned all of them but then I wouldn’t be able to cook and during this pandemic I couldn’t go out and eat besides trying to be very careful with my money

Great set. Perfect for storage in a small space, handle works really well and is sturdy. I can’t see any scratches from attaching the handle mentioned in other reviews, but even if that’s the case later on, that won’t impact the cooking abilities, so let’s not get crazy. Used on electric hob, heats up nicely and the red circle indicator is useful. Tried out the “from hob to oven” option – works well too. Definitely recommend this set!

What is not to like about Ingenio pans. This is my 3rd full set over the past 20 years. Such a brilliant idea. They haven’t worn out, I gave 2 sets away after using them for many years, just so that I could buy the latest version. These are brilliant. Easy to store, make so much more room in my cupboards. Can put them in the oven, serve from them on the table. The new lids are a great design, especially having a draining lip on them. I wouldn’t consider buying any other pans now.
Fabulous set of pans, excellent quality and so good at saving space. Very sturdy, I really like the cooker top, to oven, to table and then to fridge use of these pans. The handles are secure and safe, they clip on and off easily with no wobble. The interchanging flat for storage lids save so much space. I haven’t actually used the steamer yet but looking at the pan quality I’m sure it will perform as expected. I purchased these for saving space in our motorhome but they are so good I have used them at home too.
