The Ingenio concept is built around a patented detachable handle that attaches and detaches with one click, turning frying pans into oven dishes, and saucepans into baking tins, serving dishes or storage containers.

Space saving desig
These pans stack nicely and take up less space than traditional pans. Non stick coating is good and they clean easily. Handles attach firmly and don’t wobble about. I find traditional screw on handles inevitably come loose and there is a limit to how many times you can adjust them, I’ve had to get rid of otherwise perfectly good pans due to loose handles. With this design you can just replace a handle. The only downside is the handles are not designed to stay attached while on the hob.

Love the Tefal saucepans and frying pans with the detachable handles. I have the frying pans and decided to get the saucepans to go with them. These are similar to the frying pans I have, and they really are nice. However, if like me, you have an Induction Hob, do not buy this particular set, as they don’t work. When reading the description, I read including instead of excluding Induction Hobs. Thankfully I tried them out before putting them away. Gutted, as they were a good deal.

A good product & great value for money
We purchased these items for use in our Motorhome, they are compact and therefor take up less space – the detachable handle is essential and works extremely well. They are light but feel good quality and they are easy to clean, everything we wanted.

I am happy with this saucepan set
I keep them neatly in my cupboard, I’ve used the cardboard packing separators that came with the pans, this will stop them clunking together and scratching the non-stick coating.
The handle seems ok, I’ve used it a good few times and it hasn’t damaged any pans, it’s a bit awkward to clean sometimes if food gets underneath the part that clamps on and it’s not recommended to leave the handle attached during cooking so it’s a bit of a pain to have to keep attaching and detaching during use. It’s worth it though for the extra cupboard space. The lids seem to fit fine and stack neatly on top of each other to save space, no more opening the cupboard door and pan lids falling out all over the place.
The coating is still like new just as I would expect from Tefal.
I have a ceramic hob now but know from past experience that if you have a cooker with gas rings you may find the pans are easy to topple over when the handle is attached, feels a bit handle heavy, especially with the smallest pan.
When my frying pans get older, and if the handle continues to work as expected, I plan to buy the frying pan set too so I can save even more space.

I bought a single pan, but when I saw it I sent it back and bought the full set. These pans are great. Really light, but heat up really quickly and so easy to clean. The handles are easy to click on and off, which is good cos you don’t want to leave them in the pans while cooking…I burnt one first use. The plastic lids are great for leftovers in the fridge

Second set I have purchased. Only disppointment – water gets under lid handle and ‘rusts’ Even taking handle off could not get rid of it. This didn’t stop me buying another set. Storage great!

Pans are really easy to use. From the hob to the oven to the dishwasher..
Storage really useful.
Detachable handles are great for storage but there are 2 disadvantages to them. Firstly is the rubber/ plastic on the plastic burns when left on a low frying pan during cooking. So this means putting them on to strain or serve the click has meant a jerk and a splash cycle.

Tefal Ingenio non stick pans
I liked the fact that these pots could be stored inside each other therefore taking up no space at all. I ordered another handle for the pots as when I had two on the stove I found it difficult removing the handle from one pot and fitting it on another but that is the only thing I would mention.

I’ve had these pots for nearly 4 years now, easy to store because of the detachable handle but most of the black coating has now scrapes away so not as long lasting as I would of liked

Bought as fed up of trying to store old pans in pan draw and the handles making it difficult to fit them all in. This is a perfect solution!!

The pans themselves are good, but they are let down by their lids, which allow steam to escape all around and end up showering the hob with a fine spray of boiling water when used for boiling potatoes etc. I now just use my old normal lid which vents through a hole in the top of the lid and is much safer. Although now of course the old lid has to be removed to use the handle. Would I buy them again – probably not as I now have 3 new lids that are not safe to use. Thank goodness I kept my old style Tefal lids!

Superb Space Savers
I wanted to some nice new pans, but didn’t have much space for storage. These are ideal. I love the no handles option, as this makes for easy storage. The pans are good quality and very sturdy. The only downside would be the handles, there is a small piece that keeps coming off, but this doesn’t detract from the use, as it easily put back on. A bit pricey, but so far so good.

Got them for my partner for Xmas as he wanted them, still a surprise for him there great to clean easy for space saver but I will say when on the stove you’ll have to be a little carefully as where there so perfectly addressed if you move it slightly it might come off so you’ll have to be good

Great set. Perfect for storage in a small space, handle works really well and is sturdy. I can’t see any scratches from attaching the handle mentioned in other reviews, but even if that’s the case later on, that won’t impact the cooking abilities, so let’s not get crazy. Used on electric hob, heats up nicely and the red circle indicator is useful. Tried out the “from hob to oven” option – works well too. Definitely recommend this set!

They haven’t worn out, I gave 2 sets away after using them for many years, just so that I could buy the latest version. These are brilliant. Easy to store, make so much more room in my cupboards. Can put them in the oven, serve from them on the table. The new lids are a great design, especially having a draining lip on them. I wouldn’t consider buying any other pans now.

Nice pans
Nice and compact, now have plenty of room in the draw. Handle works well as lids are nice and sturdy. Only time will tell if they stay in the same condition when food is added daily.

Amazing. It saves space and can also use it on the oven without changing pans. The handle becomes a little stiff, probably some grease might help.
