Easy pruning
A wonderful gadget which makes “remote” pruning a pleasure. It extends at fixed intervals. It is sharp and the head rotates so that one can decide which way the cut section is trapped by the grip on the head. No more lost cuttings hidden in the flower bed.
Enorm leistungsfähig und praktisch
Die variable Lnge und die Mglichkeit, dass man damit durch ein Maschendrahtgitter am unerreichbaren Nachbargrundstck (erlaubterweise) schneiden darf, das ist sehr wertvoll. Auch, dass nichts ins Nirgendwo fllt, weil das abgeschnittene Teil des Strauches geklemmt wird, das ist sehr gut – weniger Bcken, kein Verletzen durch Stacheln …

Does what it says
I wanted something to trim back my jasmine without having to use steps. This met all expectations and the best thing is that when held correctly it holds on to the cuttings which means no bending over to collect all the cuttings that have fallen on the ground as you have to when using shears. Well worth the money.
Useful garden tool
This tool cuts efficiently and holds on to the severed stem, so that you can retrieve it. This stops debris falling into a neighbour’s garden. I have successfully used it on a variety of shrubs but it is particularly effective for dealing with overgrown climbing roses. It has a good reach which is important.
We grow a lot of grapes in our garden, but the ones high up were always out of my reach to pick. I’ve tried various tools over the years, and none worked — till now. These telescopic secateurs do the job fine! It’s especially useful that if you keep the handle squeezed they hold on to the cut stem, so I can drag the cut bunches towards me.
So why only four stars? Because (a) it’s ridiculous that there is nothing in English, when they are being sold into the UK, and (b) even the German text on the packaging (which is all there is) isn’t instructions. It’s a (fairly useful) blurb about how useful and well designed the product is.
In fact, there simply are no instructions. I would not have been able to use them were it not for some reviews and Q&As on here.
If you scan the QR code on the packaging, it takes you a webpage with an English translation of the blurb on the packaging. It’s mostly in passably good English.
Despite these reservations, I think this is the tool I’ve been looking for for years.

Wollte verblte Bltenstnde an Rosen, Schmetterlingsstrauch usw. abschneiden knnen, ohne dass das Schnittgut in den Strauch reinfllt. Das funktioniert mit dieser Schere mit Verlngerung sehr gut. Bin sehr zufrieden damit.
Possibly the best garden gadget i' bough
Takes a little practice but works extremely well. The biggest challenge was picking my quince crop without dropping any. For those who do not know the fruit they are the size and weight of a granny smith but with short thick stems close to the branch. Some were 12 foot off the ground in amongst the vegetation.

Wir verwenden die Schere zum Schneiden unserer Kletterrosen, besonders am Rosenbogen. Nun kann ich alle Zweige bzw. verblten Rosen erreichen ohne an den Dornen hngen zu bleiben. Zu diesem Zweck ist die Schere sehr empfehlenswert.

Me vino en una caja enorme. Sacndolas me di cuenta que el plstico estaba bastante daada (como se ve en las fotos) y me tema que las tijeras tambin. Pero todo quedo en un susto. Ayer los prob con mis kiwis que se meten en mi nogal y el bamb y funciona genial. Aunque yo no tengo tanta fuerza como un hombre pudo cortar ramas gordas (de casi 3 cm) sin problema y a la max distancia de 2 metros. Para mi justo lo que busque.

Brought for pruning our varieties of Buddliea which have the oldest dead flowers quite high up. It does the job with no bother at all and very easy to use, would recommend for sure.

Well made. Used to dead head buddleia bush and summer prune minaret apple tree.
It’s exactly what I have been looking for to trim the roses that are growing over the porch, without having to erect a ladder. The one drawback was having to work out how to use it as the instructions are in German which is no use to me. I have since recommended it to one of my senior citizen neighbours who has now bought one and asked me to demonstrate as they also could not make sense of the instructions. Maybe the company can take this into account and include instructions for the country they are selling it in. Other than that I would highly recommend this garden tool.

One of the best tools in my kit. However the spring broke in the handle. I have bought another. Trying to get a replacement spring is difficult as it is a German company. I rang them but they don’t make it easy. It is a very good tool when it’s working.

Brilliant little tool.Well made at a reasonable price. Prune bushes , roses etc where a pair of steps would sink into the grass or in places awkward to get to. One of the best garden tools yet.

Perfect for rose arches
Absolutely brilliant, just what I needed to prune the roses round a very high rose arch, without having to get the ladder out. Much easier to use than the ones with the ropes and much lighter. It managed some quite thick branches too, so I was very impressed.

Tolle Gartenschere
Diese Schere habe ich mir speziell fr meinen Hausbaum bestellt. Sie hlt was sie verspricht. Da sie doch sehr leicht ist, kann man auch lnger damit arbeiten, ohne dass einem die Arme weh tun. Sie schneidet auch relativ dicke ste. ste ber ca. 1 cm waren kein Problem. Das Festhalten des Schnittgutes gelang fast immer. Bin sehr zufrieden und fr meine Ansprche perfekt.

Macht Spaß - da hat sich einer was bei gedacht.
Die Verpackung war etwas berdimensioniert und das Teil rutschte darin herum. Da die Schere aber einen stabilen Eindruck macht, kam sie anscheinend unbeschdigt an.
Ich habe damit heute die Trauben und die Kletterrosen gestutzt. Funktion prima und man muss nicht mehr mit der Hand oder Gartenschere “in Gestrpp oder Dornen tauchen”. Die Lnge ist leicht verstellbar und damit sehr flexibel. Nach dem Einrasten ist der Stab stabil. Da auen keine Drhte, Schnre etc sind und der Aufbau sehr schlank ist, kommt man gut zwischen sten durch – rein und raus. Der drehbare Bediengriff erlaubt Schnitte in allen Richtungen. Bis 10 mm Holz kein Problem. Ergonomie und Kraftaufwand zum Schneiden passt auch. Prima ist auch die Klemmung fr den abgeschnittenen Ast. Wenn man die Schere geschlossen hlt, bleibt der Ast an der Schere fixiert und kann gezielt weg genommen werden.
Lediglich das obere Gelenk zum Abwinkeln des Stabes knnte etwas stabiler fixiert sein. Das Gelenk knickt manchmal etwas ab, wenn es quer belastet wird. Aber es geht.
Die 2. Griffmanschette am Stab ist verschiebbar, m.E. jedoch berflssig. Gewicht ist ok fr die mgliche Arbeitslnge.
Bisher tut der Rosenkavalier was er soll. Die Handhabung macht sogar Spass. Wenn jetzt noch die Lebensdauer stimmt, dann war das Geld gut investiert.

This product is ideal for the pruning of my rose growing 15 feet up on my old ash stomp. It is light eneough to do the job properly without tiring. My wife also finds it easy for dead heading a large rambler rose. We have heavy duty loppers for tougher jobs, but these are much too heavy for continuous light work.-brilliant.

Endlich kann ich meine Kletterrosen perfekt schneiden. Keine Wunden mehr und leichtes Verschneiden der abgeblhten Dolden. Dann kann die zweite Blte kommen. Erst hat mein Mann etwas gemeckert. Schon wieder ein Gartengert. Kurze Zeit spter: Du hast was tolles gekauft. Damit kann man auch den Kugelahoorn leicht krzen. Das Gert ist ein Muss fr alle Kletterrosenbesitzer.

Works very well and a lot easier to use than the ones with cord attached that you have to pull on. Just squeeze the handle and the branch is cut. Will not cut very thick branches, however, but managed to prune back a huge laurel easily. Good value for money.

This is light and very easy to use, other than when tackling some pretty hefty branches where you’ll need to apply a firm grip and probably use two hands on the cutter.

De momento va bien y no he tenido ningn problema. Tengo en el jardn un nisperero muy alto y me han venido muy bien para recoger los nsperos altos. Tambin tengo un pequeo parral y de momento para cortar los sarmientos verdes que no me interesan tambin va bien. Este invierno, cuando lo pode y quite todos los sarmientos lignificados ya ver si funciona tan bien como ahora.
El embalaje viene todo escrito en alemn, cosa que no me ha gustado mucho pero tampoco es tan difcil de manejar y con los dibujitos se entiende. Tiene tambin un cdigo QR que te dirige a su pgina web pero no aparecen instrucciones ni nada pero si pude ver que la venden mucho ms cara.
De momento estoy contento con la compra realizada.

Ich habe diese Rosenschere als Ersatz fr meine alte Schere gekauft. Mein Anwendungsgebiet waren nicht nur Rosen, sondern auch kleinere ste von Obstbumen. Bei der Zweihandbedienung hat mein altes baugleiches Gert leider den Geist aufgegeben. Aber die Schere hlt trotzdem einiges aus, bevor man sie berlastet. Wenn man sie Zweckgetreu verwendet ist sie optimal. Schnittgut wird mit der integrierten Klammer festgehalten. Reichweite ebenfalls vllig ausreichend. Alle vergleichbaren Scheren waren meist schwerer und damit unhandlicher.
Es fuerte y segura
Funciona muy bien y corta estupendamente, pero se me ha estropeado antes de hacer un ao. La tijera ya no se abre sla y tengo que abrirla tirando del mango, y al final me hace dao en los dedos.
Al campo de 13 meses, se ha partido el cable de acero interior, por lo que ha quedado inservible.
He llamado a Amazon, y me lo han cambiado por uno nuevo en garanta.

Super kauf! Wollte nicht, dass die Oma mit Leiter und Schere die Bune schneidet und hab mich deshalb nach einer Alternative umgesehen. Macht spa Bume und Bsche zu schneiden. Zum halten der ste muss man die Schere in der richtigen Poition halten. Habe ich am Anfang falsch gemacht und mich gewundert. Jetzt fallen die abgeschnittenen ste nicht mehr zum Nachbarn ber den Zaun! Super Funktion.
Hab die Schere auch schon verliehen. Alle waren begeistert!

Bought this to replace a previous one which had lasted for years. Great value and easy to use, so useful for several job in the garden and not too heavy either. Great!
When these arrived I thought I’d made a mistake…however they’ve actually grown on me! Way too pricey for what they are and there are a couple of drawbacks….the rubber handle thing isn’t fixed…but isn’t tight enough to stay where you put it on the pole so tends to just slip down. No major biggy but naff design. *edit* That feature has also grown on me as it allows you to slide your hand about when placing the trimmed branches in a pile by You! The bendy head altho handy 10% of the time is actually a pain in the @ss. I’m thinking of splinting mine to stop it bendin about whilst I’m wrestling with the tougher cuts….oh and looks like to sharpen the blade you have to take it apart. Sad face.
The bonus’ tho are- after you trim a branch the design of the blade holds the trimmed branch so you dont have to go looking for where it fell- if you use it right. The blade is sharp and will chop most living branches up to an inch and a half. Harder woods or dead wood don’t bother! It’s pretty long and has a good sturdy locking mechanism, non of that twisting rubbish!
Very handy for rogue tree branches hanging down just out of reach and amazing for climbers and roses/arches. No ladder needed which is always a bonus!
*edit* the spring in the handle snapped and they are super hard to find…finally got one for about 5 quid! They usually start at about 7 quid! Gotta be careful with this but it’s very handy!

Excellent tool stops endless bending and stretching. Had for a couple of months saved time and effort cutting down summer plants.

Very easy to use. They were perfect for trimming hard to reach branches. They only cut thin branches, but were great for what I wanted.
Good for the money and easier than the pulley system.
I like this but do find it a bit difficult when cutting wider branches, I haven’t been able to cut anything more than 2-3 cm.

Bis jetzt bin ich zufrieden. Ich konnte damit ste entfernen, die bis jetzt nicht zu erreichen waren. Verarbeitung wirkt etwas billig, hat aber ersten Einstzen standgehalten. Die langfristige Haltbarkeit muss sich erst noch zeigen. Auch muss man genau auf die Beschreibung achten. Zu dicke ste knnen damit nicht geschnitten werden.

Wird auf unserer Tennisanlage nicht als Rosenschere verwendet, sondern um Bromberstruche gefahrlos und ohne Verletzungen aus der Entfernung schneiden zu knnen.
Man schneidet lange Triebe, hlt sie gleichzeitig fest und kann sie zu sich heran ziehen. So war es beabsichtigt, so luft es.
Haltbarkeit wird sich weisen, Preis-Leistung ist OK.
Abwinkelbar und teleskopierend, wie beschrieben. Schneidgut sollte aber 10 mm Durchmesser nicht deutlich berschreiten; das ist kein Hochentaster!

This is just what I was looking for. It’s lighter than the one I already use (which kills my arms when used at distance)
It works really well. I have a raised fish pond with tall plants behind which need trimming back from time to time this extends just long enough to reach the front bits but I could do with an even longer one for further back.
This pruner is both well designed and well constructed (a rarity); it is also reasonably priced, at half that of similar items which could not be described as either. It is easily extendible and lightweight in construction. The pruner is operated by one hand acting on a (lockable) handle and the blade can also be locked, in fact they both lock automatically when the device is shortened, a good safety feature. Handle and blade are connected by a rod inside the body of the device and not, as are many, by an external cord which could break and become tangled with the branches. Your other hand supports the pruner via a handle which can be moved along its body and held in place by slight pressure. The blade head also tilts.
This item cannot be used on thick, tough branches but you would need an implement of a totally different (scissor) design for this purpose.
The instructions are meagre and in German which, although easier to understand than Japanese translated into English, are unnecessary anyway as a bit of fiddling will show you how it works.
Perfect for blackberry picking too – the best are always at the top!

Bequemes Rosen schneide
Die Rosenschere funktioniert einwandfrei, bis zu den vorgegebenen Aststrken. Besonders schn ist es, dass der abgeschnittene Zweig einwandfrei in der Schere gehalten wird und somit ohne Probleme aus dem “stacheligen” Bereich herausgenommen werden kann. Gegenber dem bisherigen Rosen schneiden, macht es hiermit richtig Spa, weil man auch ohne Leiter, die hheren Rosenstrucher bequem schneiden kann.
Je l’utilise pour tailler des citronniers et mandariniers qui sont dans ma serre et qui ont pris beaucoup d’ampleur, si bien qu’ils atteignent le plafond et sont devenus trop larges pour accder partout.
Comme il est extensible il me permet d’atteindre les pousses loignes.
Il coupe trs bien mais ce n’est qu’un scateur assez petit et donc ce n’est pas un coupe branche. Par consquent je pense qu’il est adapt pour des “branchioles” c’est dire n’excdant pas 1 cm de diamtre, n’ayant pas essay sur branches plus grosses.
Attendre 48 ans (j’ai 48 ans…) pour tomber sur ce genre de scateur quasi idal, ds qu’il s’agt d’atteindre des branches hors de porte, voire qui dpassent chez le voisin !

Trs bien conu, lger et de bonne qualit. Je conseillerais de veiller bien lubrifier le scateur (tringlerie et axes) l’huile de chaine de vlo par exemple, ds que a couine. Un graissage aprs la taille de trois gros pommiers, en 5 heures de travail, sans arrt. Ne pas tenter de couper les grosses branches quand a force, le scateur n’est pas fait pour a.
La taille de rosiers, de glycines envahissantes devient trs facile. Le systme d’accrochage de la branche coupe est gnial !
En rsum, je recommande absolument ; rapport qualit-prix excellent !

Really easy to use, quite light so can be used one handed
This seems to be a good quality pruner. I can’t vouch for its long-term efficacy yet, but I have used it a few times now and it has exceeded expectations.
The jobs it coped well with were deadheading, pruning climbing shrubs and pruning one- and two-year wood on fruit trees. I’m sure it will do ok with older wood too, but I haven’t put it to the test yet.
I really like the fact that you can hinge the cutting head and swivel the handle to allow you to cut correctly and grab the side of the cut that needs to be held. It has a positive grip on the cutting and this allows you to collect all the bits. To extend the reach there is a metal latch with a positive engagement in regularly spaced holes.
It is very well-designed and comfortable to use, and it feels strong. I find it a little bit too heavy to use in one hand, even at its shortest setting.
Overall I think it was a great buy.
UPDATE: I’ve been using the pruner for a couple of years now, and it hasn’t let me down. Don’t expect it to achieve that 10mm claim with anything other than the softest growth though. Watch out for a painful thumb nip, too! (See photo)

Schwerere ste hlt es nicht wirklich fest und ist das Lngste, aber trotzdem sehr kurz zum arbeiten.
Arrived a day earlier – bonus !!! On opening the box, I thought this looks quality and after translation of the pack and my first use it is a brilliant bit of kit. I am really quite eager to start pruning properly .
It is very lightweight even when fully extended. A good feature is the grabber part. There is good comfortable grips on the pruner. Blades are very sharp too and went through the new season growth on hawthorn like a knife through butter. It was a bit more expensive than some of familiar brands in the UK but, it seems far better made than any what I have looked at in local garden centres.

Le systme de pince est trs pratique une fois qu’on l’a bien compris.

Juste une remarque: le bras tlescopique doit toujours tre positionn sur un des crans prvus cet effet. Pas en dehors sinon la poigne ne fonctionne pas. Il suffisait de le savoir…
Habe sie gekauft, um eine Weide ganz kurz zu halten. Die Weide ist wie ein Teller beschnitten. Ich muss mit der Schere nur dnne Austriebe entfernen, allerdings bisher in 3-4m Hhe, deshalb ist sie fr mich super. Ich habe den direkten Vergleich mit der Gardena Starcut 160, mit der ich bisher geschnitten habe. Da man die Gardena nur zweihndig bedienen kann, konnte ich mich nie richtig auf der Leiter festhalten und bekam letztes Jahr durch das nach hinten Ziehen des Schneidmechanismus und das Gewicht eine Schleimbeutelentzndung in der rechten Schulter.
Mit dieser Schere habe ich bisher nur vom Boden aus geschnitten, das geht wegen der Lnge sehr gut, sie ist verhltnismig zur Lnge sehr leicht. Der Schneidkopf ist sehr grazil, so dass ich gut durch das Bltterdach komme.
Ehrlich bin ich bisher begeistert, wenn sie weiterhin gut funktioniert. Das Festhalten des Schneidgutes klappt nicht immer, aber oft, was mit der Gardena gar nicht ging, da war nur ein Haken, mit dem man das Schneidgut wegziehen kann und der sich regelmig im Gest verfing. Jetzt schnibbel ich fast jeden Tag ein bichen hier und da und die Weide bleibt immer flach und es ist nicht mehr so eine riesige Tagesaktion alle 4 Wochen. Das einzige, wo die Gardena mehr punktet ist die Verarbeitung und Robustheit, sie hat aber auch das doppelte gekostet. Ich kann diese Schere nur empfehlen, wenn man feines Schnittgut in grosser Entfernung hat. Die 10mm muss ich jedoch anzweifeln, eher 4 bis 6mm, mehr nicht. Die Haltbarkeit bleibt abzuwarten. Aber ehrlich, die Schere ist fr mich so eine Arbeitserleichterung und schont meine Knochen, da wrde ich mir auch alle 2 bis 3 Jahre eine Neue kaufen.
Ein wirklich praktisches Teil. Dass so ein Mechanismus ein wenig empfindlich ist, liegt in der Natur der Sache. Also keine rohen Krfte einsetzen und ansonsten auch Werkzeugpflege betreiben mit etwas l. Ich hoffe auf die Art auch langfristig damit Freude zu haben.

Avec l’age, on hsite fortement utiliser un escabeau ou autre pour cueillir des fleurs en hauteur (lilas par exemple) ou pour tailler, enlever les fleurs fanes des rosiers grimpants,….Aussi je cherchais ce genre d’outil qui correspond mes attentes. Je retiens en particulier sa lgret, sa maniabilit, sa possibilit d’atteindre des branches relativement hautes depuis le sol grce son extension tlescopique, ainsi que celle de la tte inclinable pour couper les branches en biseau et de l’astucieux systme de retenue des branches coupes. En ce qui concerne sa solidit, seul le temps nous le dira,…. mais il a l’air solide.

Brilliant quality and perfect for trimming pond plants
I have a new sunken pond full of plants and wanted to be able to trim out dead material without my tumbling into the pond! These pruners are much nicer than I expected, well built and very sharp. They are going to be very useful.
Ein wunderbares Gert. Ich ertappe mich dabei, dass ich auch leicht erreichbare Stellen damit schneide, um der Benutzung willen. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: ist die Schere geschlossen, bildet sich hinter der Schneide ein Widerhaken, mit dem man sich im Gest verfangen kann. Aber man kann die Schere gut daran aufhngen. Das Werkzeug ist teleskopierbar, es gibt mehrere Einrastpositionen. Nur wenn es eingerastet ist, funktioniert die Mechanik. Gelegentlich muss man nach der Verstellung auch einmal den Griff zusammendrcken und loslassen, bevor die Mechanik wieder greift.
Ich habe die Schere zum Schneiden von Teichpflanzen gekauft.
Der Scherkopf ist in der Schnittleistung mit einer Handschere mittleren Preisformates vergleichbar.
Das bedeutet saubere Schnitte und gutes Festhaltevermgen bei kleinen sten und Teichpflanzen.
Um lange Freude zu haben wrde ich bei harten ausgetrockneten sten die angegebene Schnittleistung nicht ganz ausreizen.
Das Teleskoprohr und der Scherengriff sind sehr stabil .
Beim Einsatz im Teich empfehle ich das umgehende Abtrocknen nach der Arbeit und die senkrechte Lagerung, damit es zu keinen Rosterscheinungen kommt. Um lflecke im Teich zu vermeiden ist das Einsprhen mit Teflonspray zu empfehlen. Super Gert !!!
