Great cordless drill driver but the bits that come with it are not very good. Other than that good value for money

No storage box and basic screw tips. Great tool though!
Great price and good battery life. It doesn’t come up in a storage box and the screw tips are not magnetic hence not giving it 5 stars.

    Excellent drill
Bought to replace bathroom ceiling and was perfect. It did run out of charge near the end but to be fair it had been used for about 6 hours so would say battery life is good. Easy to use and works quickly. Good value for money. Definitely recommend.

    Good for the price
    Bought as a birthday present.
OH kept borrowing my cordless drill so I figure it was time he had his own.
I didn’t realise it doesn’t have hammer function which to me is a big negative. OH hasn’t noticed yet but he mainly works with wood so hasn’t needed it.

This drill is quite compact, in between electric screwdriver and your average cordless drill size. It’s a bonus if working in a tight space and for long periods as it’s pretty light.

Works brilliantly as a screwdriver but lacks the punch of an impact drill.

Take care with the battery. We left it attached overnight and it discharged and was useless when we went to use it. I almost returned it thinking we’d got a dud. Batteries are approx 25 so once this battery dies, I feel the drill would be a throwaway.

Overall, I’d pay the extra for the hammer drill function but it’s fine for what it is.

    Versatile drill.
Bought this for my son and he is very pleased with this drill. Says it has many uses and cord free gives freedom to use anywhere. Also pleased with the light beam for working inside cupboards and other dark or awkward places. Do recommend.

Good torque for what it is.
I’ve used it as a power screwdriver, a drill and a paint stirrer. Took a bigger diameter than I expected. Gives a good vibe – think it will last many years.

    Perfect for the DIYe
Have had this drill for around 2 years now, works perfect with plenty of torque, and battery still holds the charge, can do a days DIY average usage on one charge. Led light is an added bonus. Charger lead plugs direct into the battery so no problem looking for the right charger, simply keep the lead to hand.

    Great little drill, a bargain!
A great little drill for small jobs round the house. Screwed a hinge into a heavy door and thick wooden door frame, no problem. An item with such a huge number of purchases will always result in a few dissatisfied customers, but I’m glad I trusted the vast majority of positive reviews, very happy with the drill.

Quiet powerful and long lasting battery
I don’t know if this is going to be of any use to a contractor but for the basic needs of a household it is very good. It has basic accessories that are very good on drywalls and so far I have use it to install a fire alarm and replace one of the garden gate hinge.

    Overall Good Drill, But.
Overall a good drill, but I rated the battery a 3/5 because I bought it to use primarily with a wire brush attachment for cleaning rust.

When using it in this way it doesn’t really last that long with a full charge. Maybe 25mins.

But I’m sure if you were to use it to simply drill holes and fill them with screws you’ll have much longer battery life.

Good lightweight tool but low on torque for removing screws
This is a lovely lightweight product useful for simple jobs. The downside is that it struggles with torque for those slightly tougher screws which have been in for some time. Not suitable for workmen but works well as a low key cost efficient DIY accessory.

    Value for money
This is a sensational little DIY drill! Has good power to it, nicely balanced in the hand and lasts forever. Managed to get through most of a pack of 200 screws before I needed to charge it. Looks the part and the carry case is a lot sturdier than other budget tools I’ve had in the past, should stand the test of time.

    SHORT TERM REVIEW ONLY
Having done only a couple of very light jobs, I can’t comment on how long the drill and its battery will last over time. I’ve yet to test the battery life (how many holes one charge can drill or how many screws it will drive on one charge).

The drill is good value and is ideal for light to medium duty, as one would expect for the price. It’s easy to use, and the built-in light is useful. The manual is well written. The accessories are OK, but I wouldn’t trust the drills for mild steel or harder metals or materials.

bought this to replace my last terratek
I bought a Terratek Drill about 10 years ago and it was a great little drill. I managed to short out the battery when the charging cable broke (that was the only down side to it the charger)

so when I couldn’t repair my old one I decided to get a replacement. good price and a decent drill for small jobs, the only disappointment I have is my old one was 24v and had more Umph than the 18v version. however its still a solid little drill. think ive had it for about 2 years now with regular use on small jobs. would definitely recommend

Not as powerful as more expensive drills, only up to 650rpm and 19nM of torque, but that said it has got me through a lot of jobs and really should be sufficient for most DIYers.

Got to be one of my best buys for DIY. Hubby laughed when I bought this but now loves to use and has taken up more of the jobs he probably should’ve done in the first place. Suffering from carpal tunnel and tennis elbow this has helped me more with the pressure a screwdriver involves. The vibration is low and doesn’t affect as use for shorter times for building furniture

Drill bit was crooked... otherwise very good
I’m a woman and I needed a lightweight, basic drill for work around the house. The weight of the drill is fine for my small hands and lack of muscle.
I used the drill to fix the bed I just bought and needed to re-drill holes for the wooden slats. The smallest drill bit was slightly bent so couldn’t use it! Very luckily I had a spare one in the toolbox. I checked the others which were fine and sharp. Used the matching screwdriver head to get the screws in and got the job done.
I got an excellent Black Friday discounted deal and next day delivery, so am overall pleased, but would suggest making sure you have spare drill bits as back up.

    Surprisingly good at the price
Very lightweight and easy to use. Perhaps, in fact, it could do with a bit more ‘heft’ for stability. Easy to insert and remove drill bits. Works well enough on wood and light metals. Masonry may be a little more of a test especially as it is so lightweight.
Good range of bits come included.
Very good price. Even if it does prove to have a limited lifespan at this price it could easily be replaced.

    Disappointing battery life
Came quickly and was easy to use but has a very disappointing battery life
I bought it to use with plant augers as the suppliers advised not to use these in a mains power drill as hitting an obstruction could cause the drill to kick and probably hurt your wrist. Having charged the battery to get planting I found the drill stopped working after only 30 minutes or less and I had to stop until the battery was fully recharged.
I had to plant my bulbs in three sessions after recharging the battery twice to complete the job and I wasn’t planting that many bulbs
Otherwise feels and looks a good tool but how it will cope when drilling in more arduous tasks I don’t yet know

The drill that made my garden gate a success!
I’m delighted with it. The battery is fine so far so I gave 5 but of course it’s too soon after purchase to evaluate that properly. The drill has a good range of torques so was ideal for my project building a garden gate. It has lovely balance and isn’t too heavy. Up to now I’ve used drills with cables and this cordless drill is so much more efficient. It came with a good range of heads for drilling and screwdriver jobs. Ideal for medium to light tasks but heavy duty projects would probably need a more heavyweight drill.

    An excellent product.
I recently used this product for the very first time. It took a few trials and errors before I finally found out how to use this drill. Once mastered it is very useful and easy to use.

    Glad to have this around!
Not for huge projects but perfect for small around the house needs. Really pleased with the price and the quality.

    What a good buy
    What a good buy.
Its smaller than many and so easy to use.
Cant comment on battery life yet. Charged it when I receivedit, took 10 mins.. Only 2 little jobs down but was great for both.
For bigger jobs (hard drilling) I would use a proper drill and use this as a screwdriver.
Saying that it was fine, used the drills included and it worked with no fuss.
The light is a good feature to. All round I recommend for diy.

    What’s not to like
Drill arrived on time, well packaged, and good to go. I love it, its so light and easy to use. I normally struggle putting in drill bits into the actual drill as I have arthritic hands, but this was excellent. Definitely recommend.

Great value for low price bracke
Really can’t go wrong with this drill in the lower price bracket range. Baffling number to choose from.

Lightweight but plenty of power. As with any drill – whatever the kind – highly recommended to invest a few quid in professional quality bits – such as Bosch – for greater accuracy and performance. Have been using this to drill 6 mm pilot holes in wood and it does it very well. Similarly perfect holes with a 25 mm flat bit. Really worth experimenting with it first on scraps just to get the feel for it.

Nice product. Excellent customer service. They were brilliant in quickly fixing a problem I had with an unusual fault. Happy customer. 😉

Great value and easy to use for the odd jobs
Great little drill really helped with my house move and made many jobs easy! Great as a screwdriver though no masonry bit included. I haven’t needed this yet as I’m loathe to put holes in the walls at a rented property but doesn’t feel quite as powerful as my old black and decker so I’m a little apprehensive for when I do eventually use. But very light weight and it’s dismantled and reassembled a bed as well as many other tasks, hanging 2 doors for example and hasn’t needed a charge yet. Great value for money and very easy to use for the layman like me.

    Surprisingly Good
I bought this as an emergency because it was on prime and my expensive Makita drill stopped working – to be honest I’m going to struggle to go back to a expensive brand after using this., it’s smaller lighter works exactly the same as my expensive one, i’ve used it every day for two weeks so far and it’s going strong!

Powerful little drill, pleased with the purchase.
Small and light but very good for jobs around the house. I’ve had the Drill for a few months and have used it on a number of occasions, the battery is still running strong. It hasn’t let me down. Recommended for small jobs around the house and garden.

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersCould be better, but it wouldn't be so cheap!
I really needed a drill and wanted one that was battery powered and had a screwdriver function. I got this one as it was one of the cheapest in that space. When it arrived I found it smaller than I expected and lower quality. That said, it has done everything I have asked of it so far (I don’t ask much) and the battery seems to last well for my needs (I’ve only recharged it once in the last month or so). I am happy with this purchase, but will still need something more powerful for the bigger jobs.

    For:
    – Reasonably priced (although I note that the price has gone up since I purchased mine at 34.99)
    – Good enough for odd jobs around the house. Way better than doing everything by hand.
    – Battery life is okay. I was pleased than it never cut out when doing a longer job.
    – Battery slots in easily – it isn’t fiddly
    – It has a torch that might come in handy sometimes
    – Feels good in the hand. Nice size (it turns out), comfy grip, easy to get to controls, chuck-less bit change

    Against:
    – Drill struggles and slows with anything a bit more meaty
    – Case is really badly made, the drill bits are too large for their built in slots. Even the manufacturer hadn’t bother to squeeze them in and half were loose in the box. The smallest one you will literally never get to go in its dedicated slot – so be careful not to lose it (see pic).
    – This is not an allrounder – it is fine for screwing and smaller drilling jobs. It’ll need a big brother for anything else.

    In conclusion:
You get what you pay for. I am happy enough with this small drill and it gets a lot of use. Yes it has its limitations, but you can’t get a good allrounder for anywhere near this price. So I would recommend this as a practical tool to have around the house – but a no-no for any serious jobs (e.g. wooden constructions).

    Very pleased with this
An excellent product. Easy to use and not at all heavy. Not sure what to expect re. battery ‘life’ before re-charging, but no complaints so far.

Perfect tool for DIY projects around the house!
I had a few flat packs to assemble and some pieces of wood I obtained for a little project to build a wooden screen divider, so I needed a drill to make these. The drill is fairly lightweight and easy to work with. I am a single female and never worked with a drill before, but during lockdown keeping myself busy I thought I’d try this and I haven’t looked back since. Its very easy to work with, and I can’t wait to build new things now. Only reason I gave this a 4* is that it would have been ideal to have a case to store it in, otherwise it would have been a 5* review. I guess I need to get myself a tools storage for all my new DIY projects!

Has earned its purchase price back in a couple of weeks!
I haven’t orders this to rebuild my house, just do some small to medium jobs. It’s earned it price twice over in a couple of weeks. I’ve done small jobs with it and built 2.5 meter double shelf storage from scratch with a single charge. (About 3 hours of intermittent but solid use) A perfect addition to my single lady tool kit!
