It only arrived the other day, and this morning I was out cutting the grass, and strimming the edges with my new purchase. A plastic blade broke 3/4’s of the way round but that is expected. What I really like, and was not expecting was a spare screwable base which was all that was wrong with my old other make strimmer as the bolt holding the blade on just got smaller meaning the blades were always coming off, but with this latest machine, and with the spare base it should be easy peezie

This was purchased for the lady of the household to strip a bank in the back garden & it is so easy to use with no cables to fall over & not the size & weight of a petrol one. String enough to tackle long grass & weeds. 5***** from me

Great lightweight cordless strimmer for edging lawns, borders and veg plots. The battery lasts for ages and the plastic blades are reasonably durable. (I get through one every 2 sessions in a big garden). Bought it alongside the telescopic hedge trimmer so have plenty of batteries. Really pleased with this purchase.

Must agree with one of your buyers the blades that come with the strimmer (red) are very poor I actually used 5 to edge my lawn (which is not very big !!)

Cuts very well and the blades are quite strong. I’ve not yet broken one or lost one – even if they do come off (which they don’t often) they’re bright red so easy to spot.

I wanted something lighter with a longer battery life than my present trimmer and this fits the bill. The battery charges very quickly and the fact that there are 2 is a bonus. There was enough charge on the battery when the trimmer arrived to check that it worked. I used it on some long grass and it was fine. There was some twine in the grass which became wrapped around the rotor arm and so I had to remove the trimmer plate. This was an easy process once I remembered that the screw works in reverse! If I have one criticism it is that the front guard is a little long. It is not possible to trim right up to a fence or plant pot without removing it, hence 4 stars.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI bought this for my mother, because I’ve had mine for years. It’s simple to use, when the blade breaks, you take it off, put a new one on and away you go again. However, it comes with RED blades that are crap, they break too easily. I use ORANGE blades, that fit the same, last longer and you can do more. Hence, the four stars.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is a great strimmer if you have normal grass.
I stay in the country and really wanted it for the outskirts of the house where an electric one is hard to reach.
Unfortunately the grass is wild and thicker so it is not so good.
    BUT
for the garden it is a great strimmer and light weight. One battery does not last long but they give you 2 so you can get the job done in one go. The plastic blades are easy to attached and sometime (if you hit something solid) they ping off but you have a similar problem if you are using a line/spool one.
I defo recommend this and will keep on using it.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersRain finally stopped so used for the first time at the weekend . Good lightweight strimmer. Easy to use. I had to fix the safety shield on and the flower guard . Charge a battery then it was ready to go. The battery charge quickly, in about 30 minutes. I strimmed for about 40 minutes and the battery still hadn’t run out. Very happy. Excellent price considering I received 2 batteries, a charger and lead and spare cutting blades.
Very impressed. Well packed ( probably to well ) in 3 boxes. Fast delivery. Recommended.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersFinally, a solution to bobby allotment edges and pathways! I tried using a petrol lawnmower and scratched my previous car getting it in and out and then it didn’t work for me. Tried push mower but they got stuck on undulating grassy bits and it was all a bit frustrating and annoying. Allotment neighbours were good in mowing the edges when they did theirs, but I still wanted to contribute and keep my own edges in check the dandelions and grassy bits were getting on my nerves and too much to do with hand shears and not effective on grass closer to the ground, etc. Used one battery tonight just before a rain shower and it lasted about 40mins. Both batteries seem to charge up pretty quickly. Still working with the most comfortable cutting angle and handle length but it was quick and easy to put together, and it seems relatively lightweight but sturdy to use and is effective. It’s so satisfying to use at the allotment compared to a petrol lawnmower etc. Just less of a headache and can be used for edging too. Would recommend

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersOnly got this today, did a quick strim just to make sure it was ok. Seems ok at the moment. Lots of adjustments for angles and lengths so should suit all users. Fairly light even with the battery on which is not big anyway. I dropped a star perhaps unfairly but it did seem a bit `cheap` when i got it out of the box and I was disappointed. I may alter this review and give that start back in time or take more away if things go wrong, so watch for updates.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersNothing bad to say. I use this on my allotment and the grass was very long it took the two batteries to get it to a manageable level and there was still enough left to go over my small lawn at home. Using it for a long time is tiring on the hands but overall it has been a real time saver so far this growing season. It seems a very robust model and the batteries charge quickly.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI purchased this after borrowing one from a friend. It is great for my pathway into the woods that gets covered in brambles which are difficult to deal with and time consuming. This does a great job of clearing them quickly. Using it for this, I do have to replace the blades quite often but it is worth it.

Strimmer is nice and light, easy to change the blade and more reliable than strimmer wire types, batteries are very reliable and long lasting. Highly please with the purchase.

I’m pleasantly surprised with this item. We have a fairly large garden and it copes well with strimming and edging. It’s really great having the 2 batteries and they don’t seem to take long to charge. I bought this because I cannot manage the more heavy duty strimmer we have and I am very happy with it.

Purchased this because I wanted a hceap, easy piece of kit to cut back the long area of rough ground at the abck of the house – half expecting ‘cheap’ to equate to either flimsy or ineffective – it’s neither! The use of a cutting blade rather than the customary wire is an improvement, lasting longer and more ffective. Battery life isn’t bad either. A useful too!

I’ve been using the trimmer for a while now and it’s still going, it really does the job.

The two batteries, very handy. I’ve had a few of these but this one is very good value for money and does a much better job than others I’ve had and paid a lot more money for them.

Lightweight and easy to handle to teach over and across. Two batteries if needed and they charge up quickly! Makes a happy gardener!

I’ve had several strimmers and they have associated problems, too heavy, lead restricts the working distance, you have to keep an eye on the lead so as not to cut through it, problems with feeding and replacing plastic wire for cutting the grass and fuses too heavy for the strimmer so the electric engine burns out rather than the fuse saving the strimmer. NONE OF THESE PROBLEMS EXIST WITH THIS STRIMMER. I have a long lawn about 70m, and you just keep cutting with no cables or extensions to worry about. GREAT JOB. The strimmer is lightweight and the battery lasts for 40 minutes and it comes with a second battery!!! GREAT AGAIN. The pop on blades are simple to load and they cut well. I used just 3 blades to do all edges on my lawn, and around trees, so the 30 it comes with will easily last a year GREAT AGAIN. Can’t fault it.

I worried about this purchase, that it would be powerful and sturdy enough to cope with my garden. I,ve been proved wrong I,m pleased to say. Whilst not for industrial use, it copes very well for normal family use.

Perfect lightweight strimmer to use on my allotment. Good battery life and pleased it comes with a spare battery. Clip on blades are much easier to use than the strimmer line type. Very happy with this purchase.

Best strimmer type product I’ve ever owned. No messing around with the plastic cord feeder, it does not have one. The cutting blade lasts longer than expected, about 3 battery charges. The batteries are 20v Li-ion and last very well. Overall a great product.

I bought this to use at the cemetry, to go around the grave stones . It did this no problem, and the blade stayed on which surprised me . I did not put the flower guard on, as it would not have worked. Its lightweight, and I did not find it vibrated too much. The battery still had plenty of life on it when i had finished, but I did take the spare, just in case, as I have four to keep tidy. So I am really pleased with my purchase at the moment. Plus to get two batteries which were partially charged was great, and 30 blades, is good value compared to a lot of other srtimmers.

The only drawback are the the blades whilst easy to replace tend to need replacing often. So carry a few in your pocket. It’s a pity that there no aluminium blades on the market.

Product doesn’t cope well with thick stemmed weeds when the cutter will fly out , so make sure you have a few spare in your pocket!

Very easy to use, lightweight. My only issue is, it doesn’t cope with heavy weeds! But generally very happy with this strimmer.

  34. VanceTorrez says:

Not too heavy and the battery last a long time. Just don’t get too close to thicker grass or weeds as the blades can snap easy.

  35. BarbaraIrvin says:

More plastic than I expected. Very very lightweight. Not suitable for a heavy duty garden like mine as the weeds just spin with the mechanism rather than cutting through it. But for lighter areas it’s really good. The plastic bit flies off a lot but it was great to have the replacements to hand. Overall it’s a good product for easy tasks

Have a large country garden with bushes, trees and everlasting weeds. So far this does everything I ask it to. If used with caution and you soak the blades in hot water 30 minutes before use, this is a useful and relatively cheap trimmer.

  38. ArleenBelmore says:

     United Kingdom

Simple to put together, lightweight and battery last plenty long enough to do my egdes and strimming around walls etc in my medium sized garden. I found the first couple of blades damaged quite quickly when I tried strimming bricks and concrete! Who knew!!! I have purchased some additional blades which a previous review suggested were harder wearing. Think the issue may have been as much driver error as blade quality but with practice and the new blades all is good in the garden.

  39. NoemiBraxton says:

Product wasn’t fit for purpose, went through blades really quickly and within a year the battery gave up. Contacted Amazon and apparently there are issues with the batteries, so didn’t want to risk replacement as it would probably happen again and then it’s out of warranty
So sent back for a refund, as best thing about it was that it has a 2 Yr warranty.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersOut of the box it went together easily i didn’t even bother with the instructions much to my wife’s chagrin 🙂
i bought it for my allotment which i recently acquired, it was heavily overgrown with clumps of nettles long grass and the dreaded dock leaves, no electricity there so i checked out battery driven strimmer’s on Amazon, this one had decent reviews and looked to be good enough for what i required? so i bought it and then decided to check the bad reviews, my heart sank as i read some of these and thought i had made a mistake with the choice i made, anyhow i charged the battery’s that turned green after 5 mins charge so they obviously come charged, plus the spare battery is a good addition to the product, and trotted off to my allotment to give it a try,
my allotment size is thirty yards long by 8 yards wide so not a bad size.
i was pleasantly surprised by the power of this light piece of kit which happily cut through nettles, dock leaves, and tall grass and tbh made short work of the tasks i set it? so i am quite stumped by some of the poor feedback? i swapped the battery after about 35 minutes for the spare one and carried on with my work for another 35 mins before that ran out, but by this time i had covered most of my allotment.
i just wish i had my phone with me to show pictures of before and after? and another plus is i finished with the same blade i started with so i still have the 30 blades left that came free with this product, this is a honest review of my experience using it, and i would not hesitate in recommending it highly for garden and allotment work, its easy to set up light and intuitive to use, the guard is firmly attached, and i find the blades adequate? as lets face it i only used one, and not finished with that one yet. i really am stumped with some of the poor feed back it receives, and so glad i bought it on the strength of the good reviews it receives.
all in all its excellent for my needs and has exceeded my expectations. so its 10/10 from me cant wait to go back and finish my allotment off 🙂 Super product it really is.
follow up report….with pictures and video
i cant believe these blades? that came with the strimmer they are incredible, i did all this work with two blades, after three sessions and none broke? just wore down, believe me this is a honest review,
see the before and after pics? you can see the job its doing, so glad i bought this piece of kit, its saved me endless hours of sorting my allotment out. and i’m really happy with it, people leaving bad reviews on this product have probably been trying to cut down trees with it? its a strimmer folks, it cuts Grass, Dock leaves,Nettles, Thin brambles not established ones, great for tall grass (see pics) battery is efficient, and great that you get 2. cant really say any more about it…get one..highly recommended, fact.

Excellent Strimmer for use on garden, and ideal for my allotment work.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersVery overgrown with thick weeds and nettles, but it cut them all down with ease about 30 minutes run time for each fully charged battery and only two blades used.
You get in the box 31 blades one already fitted and a spare blade disc and fixing screw (which is anti clockwise to tighten not the usual way).
I just moved in to a new property but had not seen the garden area as the agent forgot to tell me it had one but the landlady did so i needed a strimmer now the sun is out and everything has decided
to grow, and this one proved it could handle it.
Its easy to assemble and use, very light but i do not know how long it takes to charge a fully drained battery yet as it has only just been put on charge.
Update-it takes one hour to charge a battery, thier is also a button on the battery which will show you how much charge is left by three lights which will light up when the button is pressed.

Did the job i didn't think it would do.

Bought this strimmer for allotment, cuts well and is great with two batteries. Only fault I had was a tiny screw missing when you put guard on, however we did find one in the house so didn’t bother supplier about it. Really happy for value.

5 mins to assemble, 1 screw to fix and away you go. Battery life not known as I’ve only used it once. Strimmed the edge of my garden lawn as a trial after 4 months since last mow and completed it in less time than it would have taken to unravel the lead on my corded strimmer, plastic blades are the way to go, fast effort less and strong. This product will take away the frustration of strumming, well worth every penny. This is also extremely light weight but seems very durable.

A bit different to use from the nylon cable type strimmer, but once you get used to the blade it is no bother, I did about 20min work with it and used one cutting blade, a well-balanced machine simple and easy to use.
