Easy to use and opens and shuts well and locks
Very happy with this product. It’s easy to assemble and install. You don’t need a key to lock it, just to unlock it and adjusts to fit any size steering wheel. It feel safe and secure
Bought after reading the reviews. Sturdy item and quick and to put on and take off steering wheel.
Product is nice and simple, easy to set up and even easier to use. My only gripe is that wherever I put it in my car while driving, I can hear it rattling away; even with the velcro holding it together.
Not sure if there’s a fix for that, but other than that, great!

I was looking for a steering lock that’s not heavy and it’s easy to use and take off when necessary..
This ticks the button. Car is well secured, the colour code is great. I initially bought the red for myself, hubby likes it and requested I buy him one. I got him the blue colour. You can easily unlock and store it beside yourself while driving. It doesn’t mistakenly press on the steering honk… like I’ve had with some steering locks.
I would recommend if you want something simple and still well secured.

Been using this for just over a month now and it does the job. It is a bit of a pain getting the key out when you unlock it so you have to be careful as I can see why some people have broken the keys
I suppose it does what it claims to do. The locking and unlocking are easy and once in place, it makes it impossible to move the steering wheel. That being said, my car still got stolen as they just cut the breaks and lifted the entire car onto a platform.
No fault of the steering lock, but I’m no less pissed off!

This lock is compact yet robust compared to others l bough.Polish effect on handles are not as quite you see in photos but it does great job.I have given 4 stars because rubber paddings inside grip area splitted as they were of cheap quality.

I bought this item, it is brilliantly made, top quality but was too small for my steering-wheel! So disappointed especially as it was described as ‘Universal’ BUT, there was a card inside the box saying any problems to contact their customer service, which I did by e-mail. In the morning they had replied and sorted the problem in the most exemplary fashion! I won’t say exactly how but I was totally shocked at how helpful, quick and generous they were. Provided you have a small steering-wheel I would recommend this 200%….if you have a bigger steering-wheel then you need the lock that fixes to one of the pedals and then to the wheel.
This product was easy to use, small enough to fit under the seat when not in use and feels very strong and sturdy. Would definitely recommend and buy again (although I don’t think this is going to break in a hurry!)

I recently purchased a Mercedes, and although it is very secure, I bought this steering as added security. It is well made and easy to snap into place. It is unobtrusive and very secure. It only takes a couple of seconds to remove with the key, and someone would have a very difficult time removing it without the key. I highly recommend this lock.

I purchased this steering lock to replace my other steering lock. Not because that steering lock did not do the job, but because that style crossed over the centre of the steering wheel, so when I got to leave or step into the car I would knock the lock on my thigh setting off the horn. I purchased the red tip version so it could be easily seen, once fitted to the steering wheel. I was surprised just how simply it was to fit and remove. It comes with a nylon Velcro type strap and two two padded sticky strips to use on the steel cups of the lock and three keys. Before you stick the padded strips on the steel cups, check whether the cups fit the thickness of your steering wheel before you use. If it does with sufficient space stick the pads on the steel cups this will help with wear and tear. You do not need the key to put the lock on, you simply pull the cups apart to the required length of your steering wheel and it locks. when you want to unlocked it, you use the key and it slides to its smallest size and is ready for use next time. The nylon Velcro strip can be wrapped around the cups to stop them coming apart and locking while its not in use. Its easy to use and unlock, fairly light weight and seems very strong.
This is the best lock I’ve ever purchased, not only does it take just a few seconds to attach but it then compacts very small and neat so not to take up any extra space. Have recommended this to family and friends and they are just as pleased.
Bought my steering wheel for a new car to give me peace of mind when parking in a dodgy area. It does the job and also easy to put on and off. Had a issue with one of the parts and was sent a replacement straight away after having a chat with the Tevlaphee customer service team.

Mine was delivered a few minutes ago and I’ve just fixed it to my steering wheel. Very easy to lock into any position and absolutely impossible to turn the wheel to drive.
I didn’t want a bright coloured lock that made the car stand out. Just a good and effective deterrent. Brilliant piece of kit!

Good value for money but did buy Prime day,very heavy fits steering wheel well. Easy to lock unlock. You also get spare keys. Only downside is when you take the lock off inner bar does not lock in place it slides about , so be careful it doesn’t slide out and hit somone.

Sturdy, functional and well made. This lock was a lot more appealing visually than the traditional large yellow locks and is tamper proof with 3 keys included. With the added safety hammer feature I have found it to be a welcome addition to my car.
This lock is a superb way of giving our vehicle some extra protection. Its heavy duty but smart too.
Slim design makes for easy storage.
HOWEVER.
The foam padding tape doesn’t stay in place due to the weight of the lock. It slides off over time leaving a sticky mess on your steering wheel. -1 star
Because of the weight, it has also made dents in my leather steering wheel. (Left side more than the right as this is where most the weight of the lock is). -1 star
My workaround. Although not brilliant. Is to put a tissue around the hooks each side, to stop the sticky residue, and to reduce the size of the dents in the steering wheel.
Will be looking for another lock soon.

After having contact with the seller, I have been informed that they are looking into re designing the product to help resolve the issues highlighted.

I was looking for a steering lock to fit my BMW X3 which has the thicker steering wheel, this fits the bill admirably, loose fit on the actual wheel (Diameter) but still very secure, really pleased, in recent weeks I have found the key is very difficult to remove from the lock after unlocking

Good and sturdy lock. I found this lock with the key that curves in the lock. There’s another cheap version of this lock and very similar but the key position is in the centre of the lock. It’s also very easy to lock. Jusy open and it locks into place.
Very good quality easy to install on the steering wheel.

Easy to UT on, no key needed to lock, key to unlock works well after other reviews having issues, I’ve checked all 3 keys and all work well and another reviewer said an issue storing.. Rubbish it’s small enough to put under your seat… I’m glad I took the chance after reading so many positive reviews and negitive nearly changed mind… Love the fact it has the extra safety addition to break window if needed amazing product..

It will do as a deterrent. It’s quite easy to lock, the pick-proof lock is well encased. It’s easy to use regularly. The weak point is the steering wheel itself, should a thief be left to her devices.. An upgrade should consider straddling the spokes of the steering wheel
Worked well for four months and then lock would not unlock from my steering wheel. None of the keys would work and then had to call breakdown services to come and release the lock. Well built item but cheap and faulty lock caused major disruption to my day. Pay a little more and go to Halfords and buy a better brand. In fairness and without prompting they refunded my money after reading this review. I still do not rate the item highly but am delighted with their customer service.

Fits well, rubber cushion on the lock so it doesn’t damage the leather on your steering wheel, available in different colours, would definitely recommend.
The steering wheel lock is quite heavy and I found that the metal parts contacting my steering wheel tend to mark / dent it if you leave it on for more than a few hours. I remedied this by taping a large piece of thin felt material around the metal prongs and now it no longer dents the steering wheel.
Putting the steering wheel lock on is very easy – you don’t need a key to put it on.
Taking it off is also very convenient as the key is quite chunky and inserts well.
An optional metal spike is available which screws on to the long end and is designed to break your window in an emergency. However, I do not use this because the car is a small space and I thought it would be too easy to smash my window by accident. It’s a good thing I put the spike on because since my purchase, I have knocked my windscreen a couple of times with the long end!
It does its job and it is very easy to use. The rubber around the hocks works as buffer to do not damage the steering wheel and you can lock and unlock very easily. They even thought to include a Velcro stripe to keep the hooks together when not used, smart one :). I will definitely recommend.
