This security wheel lock is easy to fit and remove. It fits and locks without a key, just expand it inside the wheel rim until it clicks into the tightest notch position.
I have the Red Handled version which is clearly visible from outside the car and hopefully, this will deter potential thieves from attempting to break into the car.
I bought a new car (Mercedes GLC) and wanted extra security. Initially I bought a Stop Lock Pre-Elite but it was difficult to fit on the wheel due to the shape of the lock and the bulk of the steering wheel. In addition it was hard to lock and unlock so I returned it as faulty. I then decided to try this one at less than half the price of the StopLock and I am delighted with it. It self locks when fitted on the wheel and is easy to remove and less bulky. I recommend this product.
First off build quality is excellent, this will definitely last a very long time and is extremely strong and well fitting to your steering wheel.
The little touches it has like the pair of sticky strips you can add where the lock makes contact with your steering wheel is a brilliant well thought out idea, as you won’t get any marks or dents to your steering wheel.
The safety hammer on the end of the handle you can choose to fit or not, when fitted is extremely strong and would easily break your window of you needed to use it for that.
There is even a nice little velcro strap which holds the two clasps together so it doesn’t slide open by itself.
3 keys included which is excellent.

Does what it says. Comes with three keys and sticky foam pads to put on the ‘claw’ part so it doesn’t damage your wheel. The metal ‘hammer’ at the end of the lock comes with a small safety cap aswell. Good value.

Solid piece of kit, looks good, and hopefully will deter thief. Have seen weaker ones just get ripped off and smash/saw through steering wheel so solid to fit on bottom section on steering was a bonus. Just need to find somewhere to store it when I drive.

As usual with Amazon and its suppliers, they don’t give you much time between delivering the product and then asking for a review, so having had the item or only a few days this is a ‘at first glance’ review.
A weighty and well finished item with what seems to be a very secure locking system, it does offer peace of mind once installed although some elderly members of society or those with a weaker grip may struggle a little to locate it into position. It does have a separate velcro-type band to hold the device in a compact form, but this could easily get lost and would have been better if permanently attached.
I am pleased that the profile does not interfere with either my car’s steering wheel controls or airbag mechanism when in use but stowing it away whilst driving could be a problem for some – it does not fit under my front seats!
So easy to use, locks put on own ratchet to fit your steering wheel, robust bit of kit, hi profile deterrent, very easy to use, like little Velcro strap to keep lock ‘tidy’ when not in use, (otherwise it flies open when you pick it up) well thought out, highly recommend. Just like the title says, place on your steering wheel, extend to fit.
To remove simply place the key that comes with it into the lock and collapse.
Can also be used as an emergency window break to escape, but haven’t had to test this function out thankfully!

It’s nice and heavy, it won’t stop a professional thief, but it will force an opportunist to look elsewhere which is exactly what I needed.
I have had problems with “Stoplocks” scratching the leather of the steering wheel, this doesn’t happen with this design. I was worried that it wouldn’t fit my Z4’s chunky steering wheel, but it fits perfectly
Happy with the lock, using it on a Range Rover Velar, purchased the balck version, matches the interior well and doesnt stick out like an ugly sore thumb. Would highly recommended for the added peace of mind/security.

Super easy to lock, though a little bit fiddly to unlock. For the money it’s a decent product and should deter chancers. Plus for somebody to ‘go through it’ I imagine they’d have to make a fair bit noise with some kind of grinder – which would alert people anyway!

Bought in order to deter car theft for my new car. It feels very sturdy. I was apprehensive as it looks very light and nimble in the photos but this isn’t the case. Beats any that I’ve seen in Halfords and extends so much so can fit a lot of steering wheels!

This lock arrived quickly and it’s a really good deterrent for thieves. Please know, anyone who really wants to steal your car will try hard… however seeing this from outside the window will make a thief think twice about the hassle.
Does the job protects your car. I have a Seat Leon have to fit across top spoke as sets horn off if it goes across middle of steering wheel. Apart from that very happy with the product.

It’s a good lock. Just one design observation – when unlocked the mechanism has a tendency to slide down fast. Very prone to bumping on the finger as it’s heavy

I like feeling more confident about the security of my car. The lock is very simple to use. It even looks well (I chose the blue one). I hope I never have to use the hammer part but it’s there if I ever do.
A bit fiddly when trying to lock it to the steering wheel. When locking it does not lock immediately and you have to pull it for it to lock completely after you remove the key. Otherwise a good product for the money. Heavy and well made.

It has good weight to it and feels very strong and secure. The lock looks secure. 3 X keys are provided.
Only feedback I have is, wish once unlocked and bar shortened, it would stay shortened. A piece of velcro is provided to keep it shortened but finding the velcro and tieing is inconvenience. It should have some sort of automatic lock to keep it in place otherwise the bar keeping sliding out quite fast due to its weight and may hurt someone.
The only problem I’ve found is it sometimes get slightly stuck when unlocking it and you need to twist the key into the correct position and try again

Very sturdy, quick and easy to use. Don’t have to unlock it to use you can just pull up and quickly place it on the steering wheel. Padded on the insides of the metal grippers so it doesn’t damage your steering wheel.
This lock was purchased as backup for a keyless ignition. It seems robust and, while it will not stop a determined thief, it is a visible deterrent. It is heavy and has a habit of extending very fast when you are trying to fasten it in the confined space of the car. The shaped key works well. The only other criticism is that the sticky foam pads are not much use, so the lock tends to mark a soft leather steering wheel unless you put a bit of foam rubber on first. Overall, it is pretty good value for money.

I particularly liked how easy it was to lock the device onto the steering wheel & to unlock it to take it off; some locking devices can be a real pain. It also folds up easily for easy storage. It also seems to be really strongly made & great quality.
Really heavy and sturdy and like that it has the additional use of breaking glass in an emergency. The only tweak I’d like was if it could be locked when not in use or it just opens itself

The only thing I dont like about this is that it will not lock in the closed position, so you have to be realy careful when handling it.
