Bought as one of our twins likes to sleep on their front, works really well haven’t had any false alarms as yet and the batteries last. Give us piece of mind at night and definitely worth the purchase imo

    Trs bien,
Le dlai de 10 sec est peut-tre un peu court, surtout que le bbs font souvent de l’apne du sommeil.
Mais il fait trs bien son travail.
Nous pouvons dormir sur nos 2 oreilles

after my son spent the first 4 weeks of his life in the nicu, this was purchased when he came home as he slept on one while he was in hospital, it gave me peace of mind knowing that I would be alerted of anything happened

Only ordered sensor so no camera. Came with two sensor pads/discs and power/light unit. Easy to install and use. Great for peace of mind. Alarm makes loud enough noise (just remember to switch off after lifting baby from cot!)

It has saved my child’s life. It is super sensitive thanks to 2 plates; sounds alarm after 20 seconds.
My little baby has fallen asleep on her belly. She didn’t breathe and went limp for 20 seconds. Thanks goodnes for the alarm which went off at 2am. I was in a very deep sleep after tiring days/nights….It’s always on when baby is taking a nap. Battery usage is minimal…I only changed batteries 3 times in 14 months. This is the best investment I have ever made.

This monitor offers reassurance while baby is asleep and with two base units ensures it covers the whole cot/bed. It is simple and easy to install and the battery life is really good. The only flaw is the flashing light on the unit which tells you it is switched on but in a dark room for a baby is quite distracting and as they get older is a hindrance so I have found I need to cover this to stop it from keeping them awake or drawing it to their attention to fiddle with.

Great package in all used both sensor pads and 1 camera setup. The only cons I’d give the device is sound quality is not the greatest and missed an absolute chance of taking pics from the device (maybe attaching a sd card slot and a snapshot button so they save to the device on the SD) as some of the pictures you could get would be amazing. Other than that the devices have worked how they should and would definitely recommend purchasing for all new parents (just hope they listen and update and I’d purchase the camera set up again for sure)

I had the earlier model 16 years ago, latest works just as well. Works amazingly through the thickest of cot mattresses, the flashing neon light indicates baby is still breathing and is quite bright but place some opaque tape over to dim it down to a night time level. Important thing is it provides peace of mind that baby is fine from across the room during the night without having to get out of bed and check. If you forget to turn it off when you lift baby you will find out how well it works a few seconds later, three or four clicks and the alarm sounds.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersAbsolutely brilliant, I couldn’t sleep without it. Soft green light flashes gently with each breath he takes. Alarm works every time I forget to turn it off before picking my son up out of his cot.
Easy to use, regular cheap batteries still going strong so no need to buy battery to mains converter, so glad I didn’t waste my money on one.
Definitely recommend. I’ve had angelcare monitor in the past, this one is so much better.

We’ve had this product for three months now. First in our baby’s crib, then under a thick mattress in her cot. It works perfectly in both. It gives me reassurance that she is breathing whilst asleep. There was one time the alarm sounded whilst we were all asleep, and for me that one time alone was well worth the 100 we paid for this!! We do keep forgetting to turn it off at times when we pick her up and it sounds the alarm in the middle of the night haha, but that is entirely our own fault. You just have to get in the habit of turning it off and on at the right times.

When people are saying the alarm doesn’t go off even when you take baby out of the cot, well, there’s a very good reason for this- it will continue to pick up other movements in the room, even if you’re standing still next to the cot, waiting for it to go off, it’ll pick up the minuscule reverberations and not go off. This isn’t bad design, this means it’s ultra sensitive to baby’s movements. I always picked baby up, took him downstairs and then the alarm would go off. Baby’s breathing can be so undetectable that you need something as sensitive as this. I’d it only picked up big movements then it’s be going off all the time.
Ours did go off twice when the pads under the mattress has managed to get dislodged so couldn’t detect baby’s weight. Aside from that- great.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersIt’s been brilliant but a few improvises have had to be made
We’ve had ours 4 months now, we’ve got a slated base cot.
The only downside we had was during the heat of the summer I had a floor fan that vibrated a lot (we have old wooden floorboards under our carpet) and that was giving the monitor false movements, so we bought a thick rubber Matt for the fan to stand on which resolved this.
We have also bought a battery to mains adapter, as I’ve always been worried the batteries would run out when this is a vital item, so mines always been mains powered (12 conversion Amazon kit) that’s a extra peace of mind that it will always work.
We have a very sound deadened house, noise doesn’t travel well as we’ve got a few solid supporting walls between us and the babies room, for this we can’t hear the alarm very well laying in our bed so we’ve had to move the alarm closer to our video monitor so it triggers our monitor to power on and alert us which now works great.

On the whole It’s always gone off when tested the alarm, I do quite often pick my son up and forget to turn it off before hand and I get just out the room and the sirens going off but at least I know it works! It does 3 warning beeps before it goes full pelt in alarm mode.
My son did trigger the alarm the other night which gave us an absolute fright but he had wedged himself flat against the cot bars that I think he was out of the pads range, but I’m glad as we pulled him away from the bumper and back central to the cot.
He’s got a heart murmur so it’s very very reassuring and I even used this in his Moses basket by just plugging only 1 sensor in and took it away in our caravan on holiday earlier in the year.

Despite a few little improvisations I would still highly recommend these, once you get your head round exactly how these work you make sure you don’t have anything that causes vibrations and you’ll sleep easy.

Top quality reassurance. We got this after using a hero md for 8 months which we loved but as our little one became more mobile at night we found the hero left a mark. This is very sensitive and you cant fail to hear it.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersGreat product for peace of mind! It has made my nights much more relaxing now that I don’t have to check that my baby is breathing all the time. Also, we have now been able to put her on her tummy rather than her back (which she hated due to reflux).
Only constructive feedback I have is that the click is too loud when you turn it on so it sometimes wakes her up. Quite annoying and should be easy to fix.
Note also that it doesn’t work if you have a cot that is attached to your bed because it reads the movement from mum and dad. The baby cot needs to be freestanding.

I have two of these monitors, using one with 2.5 year old and one with 7 month old. Due to their being slats in the cot and moses basket being uneven surface, we found it works best with sensor pads on top of a piece of cardboard under mattress, as the manual states it needs to be solid surface. Batteries last around 6 months we find and thats with the item being used every night. Also taken and used on holidays also. Fab piece of equipment.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is a brilliant product and works amazing when installed correctly. I am pretty sure that the people who left negative reviews didn’t follow the instructions correctly. There are a few key thing to note:
    1. It needs a very hard base, put the sensor on top of this base, then the mattress.
    2. Install it at one end of the bed
    3. Make sure the baby is laid with their feet touching that end of the bed so they are above the sensor.

We have never had a false alarm, only when my wife picks up the baby and forgets to switch it off (at least we know it works though!). I would recommend this product.

One thing to note: the bundle with the camera isn’t actually connected to this devise, they are standalone products. Thefefore this can be used with any baby monitor that has audio.
