I read the reviews before going ahead and buying Thermos 184807 Stainless.
Now, I am another happy customer. I bought it for my daughter so that during the cold months, she can eat warm nutritional home-made food, and I am really happy that it keeps her food warm until she has her lunch.
Ordered this for my sons very long days. It keeps his lunch warm til lunch time. Very happy

I work out of car so wanted something that would keep food warm for 5 hours. It does the job perfectly well.
If you pre-heat this with a bit of hot water, soup will stay piping hot for up to 5-6 hours. Folding spoon is very handy too. Keeps hot things hot and cold things cold, just not at the same time.
Decent product. Good size for lunchtime soups. Holds the heat pretty well. Not piping hot, but hot enough still to enjoy. Although it states that it shouldn’t go in the dishwasher, I have been – with no problems yet.

Do a lot of walking and on cold days it great to have a hot snack from soup/stew/ chilli and many other things . We got the 470ml flask which is just the right size for one person. It’s easy to clean looks good and we have had them for about two years now and still keep things hot as well as they did on day one in summer we have put salads in the. And they stay nice and cool
Great flask, lovely colour, keeps food warm enough to enjoy at lunch (wouldn’t burn you, but hot enough to enjoy). Good portion size for 1 adult.
The only problem I had from day one was the stopper can be hit and miss to get on the correct threads.

Bought this flask as I’m self employed eat my lunch in my car between jobs, I wanted the option to have hot food sometimes and this flask does the job!
It holds a decent sized portion of food or a large tin of soup, I like the sturdiness of the foldable metal spoon. Keeps food hot for hours ( I usually fill it with boiling water first for about 5 minutes then fill with the hot food,) just the right size to fit into my lunch bag, good quality from a trusted brand
There isn’t much to say about this product. It does exactly what it says. It’s been in the market for ages so people rely on it. The only thing that upsets me is that I wish they would work on something as effective as this flask but in a “lunch box format” for kids. I bought so many trying to find one that would keep the food hot as thermos and could not find. SO I gave up and now I have to send a “plate” in my sons lunch box so he can enjoy his hot meals. I do recommend because it really does what it says, thought.

I got this food flask after reading other reviews, I take it to eat my hot meal at work so I can just have toast in the evenings. After reading Amazon reviews I took the plunge. Wow, I wish I’d bought one sooner, I heat the flask with boiling water and warm my food up in a food steamer/warmer while I get ready for work, it’s piping hot when I get my lunch break around 6/7 hours later, so hot I have to blow it !.. I’ve taken curries, soups, baked potatoes, pasta with sauce, this is an excellent flask. Portion seems small but fills me up and just right for what I need. Will be buying another for sure.
Wasn’t sure if food will keep hot for my daughter’s lunch box, but she is very happy with it because she says it’s so hot , she needs to let the steam out for a few minutes! From preparing in the morning 5 hours it’s still hot!

I don’t usually write reviews this quickly, but I’m so impressed I had to! I used my food flask for the first time today, I put hot soup in it around 8am (after heating it up with hot water for 30 minutes beforehand). I added a small handful of uncooked pasta to the hot soup, and went off to work. I left it in my car until lunchtime which was 1pm. It was FREEZING today so I didn’t hold out much hope for it sitting in my cold car all morning. I was amazed when come lunchtime, I opened the flask and not only was the soup still piping hot, the pasta was also fully cooked! It does look very small but you can fit a generous amount of food into it. Very happy with my purchase so far!

It holds the equivalent of one and a half of my usual mug of coffee and keeps it nice and hot.
I especially like the short, squat shape as it doesn’t fall over if resting on a rock or uneven ground when I stop during a walk.
Bought this because I’m sick of sandwiches whilst out on the road doing 12hr shifts. I’m always sceptical of claims by sellers but this item exceeded expectations massively. I bought an xxxx ready meal (roll it back) and put it in the microwave for the alloted time on the cooking instructions I then scooped all the contents out of the container with a spoon and placed the whole meal in my new Thermos Stainless King Food Flask, put the lids on and put it in my bag, this was at 07.30. Was a busy shift weather was awful and it was 16.45 before I got chance for my meal, I was prepared for it to have gone cold, but No! It was still hot and very tasty! The included fold up spoon was spot on and exactly the right size to scoop out my Cumberland pie!! Well chuffed no leaks of food, heat or steam, perfect. So it does do what it says on the tin and yes it’s Fantastic!!

The name says it all. Well made and designed with the built-in, foldable spoon. Does exactly what it is supposed to and looks nice. Slightly annoying to clean, well more so annoying to get the inside dry, but you could say that about any thermos. Definitely recommend.

Filled with boiling water for 10minutes with the lid on, before filling with hot food. Filled at 7am and stew was still hot at 12.30. Not piping hot but hot enough to warm my partner up while he works outdoors.
UPDATE 09.11.2021: Filled with hot soup and was piping hot at 12.30 after filling at 7.30am!!

Doesn’t leak, 8am – I boil the kettle and fill it and heat my soup and then empty the water, fill with hot soup and it’s still hot at 1.30/2.00 pm just right for lunches.

Flask is great and includes a quality spoon. Keeps the food hot for hours and ideal for backpacking. Could be used for hot drinks also, as flask lid is also a cup. I’ve had a small thermos king flask for years and it is still just like new, albeit a little scratched. Highly recommend this product.

It’s perfect for my daughter to pop in her bag and take to school, she loves it with her pasta or noodles in.
I like the size small but with sufficient room to fill it up with food.
It doesn’t keep my food very hot, by the time you go to eat your food its warm and I heated up my food up to the point it was piping hot.
Otherwise it’s okay, easy to clean, and definitely leak proof.

Came really quickly with prime and is perfect for me to take to uni in the winter and also ordered another one for my husband to take to work
it said keep food hot for 9hrs, i made pasta at 10am for uni using the cooking pasta in the thermos trick. pre-warmed my thermos with boiling hot water, half cooked pasta with the sauce, poured it in the thermos, and away i went. Busy day and my friends drag me to a restaurant, obviously i can’t eat the pasta there, it would be rude. so i left the pasta and forgot about it. at 1:30am i remember and start cleaning it out. THE FOOD WAS STILL HOT!! there was steam and heat coming from the pasta.
It didn’t leak the entire day, the food was hot for like 15hrs and probably could have kept warm for even long the food was that hot. my mind is blown. i didn’t think it would work this well and assumes after 9hrs the food would be cool, but no, still really hot as if it was just served.
Two things in my life I can’t explain to myself: 1) how the giant steel aeroplane flies, 2) how the Thermos branded items keep the coffee and food so many hours hot … It is insane but true. Additionally, if you add boiling water in advance, you can keep food for ages. I think Thermos items are the best investments in my life.

2. No need to add boiling water to heat the thermos. I have tried without it, took noodles it stays hot (not warm). E.g. 8am – 6pm.
3. Make sure to warm up the food on high temp. I microwaved it for nearly 3 mins, so it was boiling hot. I took rice and chicken, stayed hot from 8am-6pm probably warm after that but hey most of us need it for lunch. So It works.

Bought for a long car trip. I filled it with soup at 3AM and tucked in when I arrived at the ferry about 6 hours later. Still piping hot.
Also tested it with porridge and a caserrole. Both equally as hot after 6 hours.
Perfect thermos as it keeps food warm for hours unlike others I have tried before. It is a good portion size and super easy to wash. The spoon it comes with is very handy and sturdy so can use daily.

I purchased this for my 6 year old who isn’t a fan of school dinners or sandwiches. This is a brilliant little thermos and the size makes it ideal for tins of soup, beans noddles etc and its durable enough for the rough and tumble of a school bag being thrown about. You do need to pre heat it for a few minutes with boiling water first to get the maximum warmth time but my daughter tells me that her lunches are still very warm at lunchtime when the thermos is made at 7.30am. The foldable spoon in the lid is a real bonus and we’ve had no leaks. This one was purchased while on a lightning deal but I have since purchased another at full price for my own lunches as I was so pleased with it. The savings I make by not buying lunch each day outweighed the cost of the thermos.

I do reheat in the morning around 6am chicken and pasta for my child before I go to work and is still hot on his lunch. My son loves everything about this termos, is really handy and very comfortable to eat from.
Before I close termos I wait few minutes to get the heat out a bit. And is easy to wash.

So my mum is one of these people that wants a flask that can last her through the night whilst she sleeps so she can take sips of plain water during and after she wakes up… I said to her.. “whats the point? you want to wake up and be able to drink the water at a warm temperature right?” well at her age the hotter the better so she prefers this 9hr hot flask (and probably more) so she wakes up and opens the flask to let the water cool down… seriously I have no words how hot this keeps her water boiling hot.
Thus I can confirm it keeps things hot!
Perfect for those hot to warm foods when out and about. Easy clean with a store away spoon under the lid. Only used once so far and didn’t leak. Be wary though there is a rubber seal ring that can come lose so always check before tightening the lid.
Really keeps things warm, little hard to clean under the rim and if you don’t soak it sometimes smells of previous food! But great pot! Probably would have preferred it with a fork as opposed to a spoo
Bought to pack hot pulled pork for a picnic, I’ve now used this several times. It works perfectly. I heat the thermos with boiling water before filling and after several hours the food is still hot. It washes easily and after several uses it still looks as good as new.
I put hot water inside first to heat the inside of the flask, then empty out the water and put in hot food, I do this first thing before work in the morning, then come 1pm, it still hot.
Its simple and easy to clean, and the lid is air tight, and leak proof.
I love the small spoon attached to the lid and the folding design of the spoon is sturdy and solid.

It’s simply the best, got it for “cooking” whole grains like buckwheat, millet, pearl barley etc, it’s the best and healthiest way, thinking to upgrade to a bigger size 🙂 Thank you for the great product.
This thermos is a good size and holds a bowl size of homemade soup and keeps it hot for hours. I purchased it so I could bring my sister soup while she was poorly in hospital and not eating. I now use it regularly to have hot food at lunchtime at work.

This is a great item. My child got bored of sandwiches and the canteen queue is always too big. So he takes pasta dishes, soup, noodles etc and gets a nutritional lunch. He says it stays very warm. Would definitely recommend this thermos.

Oh this is a brilliant little flask, complete with folding spoon and a small cup – it’s just the perfect size for one mugful of soup and keeps everything hot for at least 6 or 7 hours till lunchtime. Bought it for my other half because his works canteen shut due to COVID, and so he has something hot during the day especially while it’s been cold and wet out. Can’t speak highly enough of this flask – buy it!!

I’ve used this mainly for porridge when I used to cycle to work. It never leaked and my porridge would still be hot 5 hours later! I love the little folding spoon which hides in the lid.

This is ideal. I put my partners bait in it every morning so he has a hot meal at lunch time. I haven’t ever put soup in, always proper meals. I fill it with boiling water first and leave it for 5/10 mins, empty it out, then add the hot food and it always keeps it heat.
Bought for my partner, and he definitely loves using it, says the food is still ‘piping’ hot after 4 hours of containment, which is all he needs to fill the gap for lunch time. The portion size is great. Worth the money.
This is brilliant for warm packed lunches for 12-year-old. Fits one portion of things like tortellini, rice&curry, pasta&sauce. We cook extra the night before and in the morning microwave his extra portion and put it in the thermos. It stays warm for lunchtime at school. We lost the folding spoon fairly early on, but it was easy to get replacements on Amazon.

I wanted a flask to keep soup of similar lunch warm but just for me, so not something too big – and this has proved to be just right! The food is kept lovely and warm, the inbuilt spoon is a great idea and useful, too.
Great item, keeps food hot for a good few hours. Only problem I have is that the silicone seal is quite difficult to put back on after washing. It came off during my daughters lunch and the remains of her soup leaked, hence the 4 stars. But if you want a fairly decent vessel for a decent price then this would be ideal

Bought this for my police officer daughter to take soup or noodles to work with her. She never knows when she’ll be able to eat so this great little flask makes sure she’s got something hot midway through a shift. Hasn’t leaked yet and is cool to the touch. Very useful little foldable spoon attached too. Would recommend.

Vacuums do not transmit heat like the stainless steel version!!
