I fill this thermos flask up at 5.30 am & its still hot at 5.30pm ,& i do mean hot not tepid but hot….absolutely excellent.
Excellent product and performs well.
Opening can be a challenge for people who have physical limitation with their hands, for example- people with arthritis or poor finger grasp and strength.
Hubs thinks this flask is great loads of capacity for coffee! Easy to clean shove in dishwasher robust construction reassuringly well designed unlikely to leak on days out. particularly like the articulated handle making it comfortable to carry.
Very good flask. One of the best I have ever had. We are Argentinians living in the UK and we love drinking mate. We fill this flask at night and it’s still hot enough for mate the next day around 11am.
This is an excellent, robust flask, in a lovely colour (raspberry). It keeps coffee hot for at least 10 hours, I’ve found, even in winter. I particularly like the twist and pour top – no complex mechanism to go wrong. Large capacity so I can have hot coffee all day.
Really does keep liquids very hot for as long as it says. Even when left for hours and opened several times. I’ve had it up and down mountains. The smaller food flask is good too but not as hot as this
Flask looks amazing and will keep drinks hot literally 24 hours and beyond. Downside is the cup has no handle and is hot in your hands. I dropped it and burnt my leg quite badly unfortunately. So an improvement would be a handle on the flasks cup. Think mug not cup!
Love these flasks this is the second one I have and I take them away with me on fishing trips or during awaydays doing on site training.
Keeps brew very hot and my own personal opinion is that they are the best available. Also dedicated website for spares if needed.

Not cheap, but it is worth the money. I have had many flasks over the years, but this is the best, but most expensive I have owned. Really pleased with it. Doesn’t leak at all, which is great, and also it actually does keep my last coffee (which I like late afternoon) quite hot, and not luke warm or tepid, like my old flasks. Would I buy again? Most definitely!
Really good flask. Well made and keeps liquids hot for many hours. The cup could be a little better as it can get hot in use. A handle on the cup would be nice.
Decided to try the stainless steel thermos flask. Very sturdy,easy to clean, good handle for big hands too. Stays hot for a good 24 hrs. Sturdy screw in stopper with cut out channel for easy pouring. I use mine every night taking hot water to bed with me and also when I was ill….
The only thing I don’t like is the metal connections for the handle is noisey at night……
Perfect flask for my road trip and kept my coffee piping hot all day! Only downfall and why I’ve given it 4 stars is that the cup itself gets really hot as metal and not coated in what the flask is coated in so hard to hold the cup to drink it when it first comes out as so hot. Needs a handle or to be coated or not metal on the outside.
A really good flask, keeps drinks hot or cold for a really long time (we’re talking more than 24 hours).
When it comes to the size it is a bit too big for my regular solo hikes, but it’s perfect for when it’s an all day walk or I’m with a friend or two.
The handle rattles a little bit when walking if the thermos is not tightly secured in a backpack, so I was thinking about taking it off. However, it’s proven useful when trying to pour some tea at the top on a mountain with tired and cold hands, so will be keeping it. May wrap something around it to keep it quieter though.
Overall – really, really happy with the purchase.
This is more than a product. Is a childhood memory. I thermos labels with hot chocholates on camping trips and the refreshing water from the tap of out “thermos” during hot beach days. In all these years thermos has always kept its promises and exceeded expectations. I had other steel flasks rusting and rotting inside if liquid was forgotten in it. After months of using this and the 500ml i use for coffee and cream. Never anything stuck on the botto. Or in the rims. Finally l can take any liquid included hot broth, and it stays hot for the day. Peace of mind. Worth every penny.
Bought this to replace an ageing Asdas own brand flask, went for one that was rated highly. First off, the colour of the cranberry red one I bought is lovely, nice deep finish. It keeps my water hot throughout the day and is still warm 24 hrs later. The lid is a simple one that you unscrew so far and pour the liquid, no complicated push buttons etc. Overall, good quality and value for money, recommended
I bought the red Thermos. Can’t be bothered to run up and down getting coffee all day while working from home. This was pricier than other flasks I looked at but assumed it was just the name….nope! Ok, first, love the colour, just dry the outside to prevent water streaks when washing to maintain the shine. Was not happy with the handle, it sits flat against the flask and the metal buckles rattling against the metal sides give me unpleasant flashbacks to camping BUT turns out it is a plus. I can carry a dangling full flask comfortably with two fingers whick leaves another finger for the mug and thumb and forefinger for my water. Noore complaints about the handle!
The lid….I drink out of a mug, but at the end of the day, there is a little coffee left, that goes into the cup lid. A bit thick but it holds a good amount and would be good for those stopping for a break on a hike
Heat retention….. Over the top! I expected may be 5 hours as this was a Thermos bit again… nope….TEN hours and the coffee is still piping hot! I only pour half a cup at a time so I open it a lot during the day. My last cup of the day is still too hot to drink immediately.
Negatives. ..I am using this just for coffee and the metal rim at the top of the flask has a stain now. Needs metal wire to clean. Need to bleach it if I was to use it for tea or for anything cold as coffee is pervasive and needs at lots of soap and water to remove the smell of coffee.

I had one and my work colleague spends loads of money on drive-thru coffee now he takes coffee with him and loves how hot it still is at the end of the day even in this cold weather, little tip I put hot water in the night before then In the morning just put it in the kettle reboil it then put it back in and fro 6am till 9pm it still comes out as hot as it you just boiled it in the kettle

This is a fabulous flask, I preheat it with boiling water at 6am, then fill with boiling water. It is still boiling at all my breaks at work on a being site at 10am, 1pm and 3pm. I also knocked it off the scaffold and it fell about 15 foot, although slightly dented it still works perfectly. Best flask I’ve ever bough

A great size, it’s handle makes a bit of a racket but it’s a great brand and I can’t really comment much more since my dad is yet to use it.
Con: it came with little dent and packaging wasn’t great – came in an envelope so I’m guessing it got the dent that way.

Very chuffed with this purchase. Keeps my tea boiling hot! I make my tea just before I go to bed at anot 9pm, I get to work for 6.30am amd the tea is like I have just boiled the kettle. I was really surprised by it as my other thermo flask was not as good as this. Definitely 5*

This flask truly keeps your drinks extremely hot, the longest I’ve tried so far is 15 hours & still too hot to drink straight away,
Just remember to warm the flask up with hot water 1st then empty & add your coffee or tea,
The flask is strong, doesn’t leak like those with the popper stoppers
I bought the Thermos 470ml drinking mug a while back and it amazed me how long it keeps your drink hot, at least 7 to 8 hours. So I though I would treat my self to the 1.2 Ltr flask. I have too say I’m not dissapointed. I make a full flask and use it to refill my thermos mug. Hot drinks all day long. It works great keeping the drink hot for 8 hours or more. I tested it by leaving some in it over night and the next morning it was still slightly warm. My only very small niggle is the spout is tiny for getting in there to wash it out. So I’ve taken to shake a lot of soapy water about and rinse. Sill worth the money and a great strong hopefully unbreakable flask
Great flash, good size and keeps liquid really hot for 12 hours minimum. Loved the fact you could pour without having to take the stopper out completely.

Bought this as an Xmas gift. Pleased with my purchase, was as advertised, fast delivery and well packaged. Would use this supplier again.
Big and sturdy, feels good and premium.
My only issue is the handle is very clunky – when you’re pouring it the handle can move around which obviously isn’t the safest. I’d rather just have a static handle.
It would also be nice if the cup had some sort of rubber round it for comfort when you’re drinking hot tea etc.

I was a bit hesitating after reading the negative reviews but still decided to give it a go as per the positive reviews and the design.
Today I’ve put boiling water into the thermos at around 8 am to warm it up. Then I pured this water out and pured in fresh hot water. The water was still hot by 5 pm. This is all I need from a thermos, to keep the water hot/very warm up to 8-9 hours. It’ll still be very warm/warm later, but in my case it never lasts so long 🙂
This is a very sturdy well made Thermos.
We have had a Thermos in the family for around 20 years or more that is used every day on a building site that still works perfectly however looking a little tired and beaten, so we decided to update.
This looks and feels exactly the same as the old one and works just as good, keeps the tea hot all day without fail.
It feels just as well made and can see this lasting another 20 years. For the price and what we use it for it is well worth every penny.

Delighted with this flask, I’ve been using it for months now and it has been perfect. It’s taken a few knocks, but because there’s no glass it didn’t shatter. It keeps the contents very hot for a long time- I mostly just use it for boiling water and make the tea fresh, it is hot enough to do that properly. Would definitely recommend
Amazed at how long hot stuff stays hot in this thermos flask. As an HGV driver who works fifteen hour shifts its good to know that if there’s any water left in the flask it’s still good enough for a hot brew at the end of the shift. The only improvement I would liketo see for a flask this size is to have two cups to share with.

This flask keeps tea or coffee hot for a long time. Just don’t put your finger in to test it after 12 hours or you will get burned.
I’ve bought and owned so many thermos flasks over the years. None of them have ever come anywhere near the level of performance in terms of heat retention as this one. Absolutely fantastic and definitely 5 star rated!
Since I have bought this bottle my life has been so easy I take this bottle when ever I have to travel like 8 to 9 hour journey im talking about the water stay warm all the water I wanted to make a milk for my 8 months old baby .water stays warm as its Says for 24 hour I take this bottle with me to my room aswel at night time to make a baby milk water stay warm all night this is truly a best gift bought for my self as new mum definitely remmcomed to other parents too if u young babies at home

We filled coffee from London and drove to Inverness (14 hours drive) and the coffee was freaky hot till then.
Would highly recommend this and would purchase another one to carry hot water.
Keeps my coffee hot all day, make it in the morning around 7 and it’s still hot at 5 in the evening. Tested it with hot water one night filled at 6pm and was still hot at 7am next day.
I am so pleased. Did not realise previous was so ineffective. As long as not open up fully have hot water 16+ hours later, could be beyond but have not needed to try. The temp goes down but still too hot to drink without sipping. Handle does not folder away easily. Got the gold and colour is fantastic. Partial release of screw cap allow water to be poured. Some heat escapes via cup area , but not sufficient to drop a star. Not tried keeping cold yet.
We researched flasks for a long time. We kept buying cheaper version and the main problem with those was that the lid would break really easy and the seal would fail. We found that even good quality flasks with the pop-up lid seal would break easily. This was because it was easy to overfill and then the pop-down mechanism would fail and could not be fixed. When this happened on a hike (as it often did) the flask would leak everywhere. We generally placed out flasks in plastic sealed bags as we expected that, after a few months, the flask would leak everywhere. This flasks was the answer.
It keeps things piping hot for long periods, much longer than cheaper flasks. It has a good build quality and, most especially, the lid is designed so that it does not break. We have had lots of different flasks and this is, by far, the best. We have solar PV and now have two of these flasks to keep hot water for morning coffee overnight.
Pros: Length of time things remain hot (e.g. overnight). Build quality (very solid metal casing). Lid design. Doesn’t leak!
Cons: Only one cup comes with the flask but the capacity is definitely for two people (1.2 L in our case). Outer coating tends to scratch so this flask will not stay pristine if you are using it for hiking etc. as we do. Although it has not happened yet, it feels like metal casing might be prone to minor denting.
In spite of cons (which are very minor) this is highly recommended, great product.
I got this to help my mum who is in her 80s because when she visits she’s scared to use the stairs, particularly first thing in the morning (5am!) This keeps water piping hot and she can enjoy 2 cups of tea in bed until we’re about to help her. The only downside is the handle which folds down and makes carrying it difficult. It also needs to be carried with both hands and held around the flask to pour. Not easy for arthritic, elderly hands.

The flask is great no problem with product my problem was it was a day late the first time ever I had a late delivery but it did ruin my plans as I needed it the day before
Purchased a 2 L old school glass with plastic exterior thermos and it only lasted two hours before I kicked it by mistake and it shattered.
Purchased this one through Amazon and as I have used one of these before I am completely satisfied. Everything about the flask is stainless steel so can be dropped accidentally and it will not break. Keeps drinks very warm Beyond the alleged time and will do me for a complete day Sat in a wagon. To complement the flask I would highly recommend an expensive travel jug also. Not a 2 one. But a 10 to 12 one that can be tipped over with no spillage.
Kept water/tea hot (or ice cold) for the full 24 hours and a bit longer. Very practical handle that folds but, beware there is a point to which it does not fold beyond and so jots out in the bag if packing.
Easy to clean with a long soft bottle brush.
Due to its height, it is difficult to store upright with lid in your standard kitchen cupboard.
Pouring was smooth, nice flow and no drips.
No leakage during transport. I found that having a travel cup made for easier drinking and less likelihood of spillage from the “lid cup” when travelling.
Obviously, it is heavy when filled but, it’s worth it to have a hot cuppa midway or, end of your trip. And…… it’s easier carrying on the way back as it’s lighter.
I don’t need to buy again as I’m totally satisfied and believe this will last many many years but, would definitely recommend.

When my son started his apprenticeship, I rummaged at the back of a cupboard for an old Thermos flask for his tea. This was the traditional style with glass interior. Unfortunately, it lasted less than two weeks before the interior shattered. Searched Amazon and bought another brand but it didn’t keep the tea hot. Back to Amazon and although this Thermos one was more expensive, it is superb. Tea is piping hot more than 12 hours later and it is also very robust which is also important. Will probably buy the smaller one from the range for soup in the winter.
Solid product. Stopper and cup are quality. Most import is that it keeps hot all day.
The flask is easy to clean keeps liquids hot for a long time me me it was around 7 hours and still steeming it could easily last 24 hours the indent means the contents can be poured without fully removing the stop. Overall 9/10 seals are very squeeky
I’ve now used the flask for a few weeks and and can confirm it does keep the liquid hot for long periods. I always prime the flask with boiling water for at least 30 minutes. This will stay very hot for 8-10 hours. I’ve not tried it any longer than that but how hot it was at 10 hours it should be still ok for some hours longer. This was done during the summer so winter tempratures will reduce how long it stay hot.
Some reviews have said about the cup getting hot and I can confirm that it does. The cup has a stainless steel outer and plastic inner but the heat transfers through a lot, shame they couldn’t have made a small gap between the two which would have helped. It’s only a small problem I just fill my cup 75% full then hold near the top and it’s ok.
Another small problem which I don’t get with my other flask is that if I have wet hands I seem to struggle unscrewing the lid. I’ve not had this problem with my other flask, maybe I’m over tightening.
Overall a good solid flask that I would buy again.
This flask is made by a very old and reliable brand, great build quality and it keeps drinks hot for hours and hours. Nothing to dislike about it, a good size, lovely colour, lightweight.
I needed a flask, to replace my 10year old one which I can’t use anymore because I can’t find a replacement for the rubber seal.. madness! Is everything disposable these days??
Anyway, after searching which brands sold spare parts (just in case 🙂 ), and with a camping holiday looming, I went for this Thermos.
It feels sturdy, has good capacity, seems well insulated (no evident heat loss can be perceived from the outside), and the hadle makes it easier to manipulate when full.
Kept contents warm/cool for ages, so very pleased with it!
I have tried kettle water for 24 hours it keeps it warm for whole day I’m very impressed by this.
Looks good, not yet used but if it’s thermos I’m sure it will do the job well.
After 7 months of light use the product no longer keeps anything hot(or cold), the flask now heats up on the outside. It’s never been dropped, a few knocks here and there but nothing major, very disappointed considering the brand! Not the same quality as their older flasks.
The flask still seals well, no leaks at all but no longer functions as a thermos should.
Just wanted to come back and review this flask 6 months on from purchase. The performance on keeping the liquid really hot through the winter and really cool through the summer is excellent (I always preheat or pre-cool before filling) it’s the best flask I have ever purchased. Always bought unbranded flasks but they never kept the liquid warm for more than 4 to 5 hours. After 12 hours the liquid is still extremely hot. Would highly recommend.
Really impressed with this flask, it keeps drinks hot all day and some. Quite a good size cup/lid to drink from. Great handle to carry it with no leaks whatsoever. My partner is so impressed with this flask he uses it all the time when he’s out with 4×4 response which can be long days out. Thermos really is the best we have used and we have tried a few flasks that ended up leaking or not keeping drinks hot. Not a bad price as you certainly get what you pay for. Flask arrived on time so no complaints here. Considering getting another one.

Good capacity, handle is a little awkward to use. I can see the thinking behind it, making it smaller to pack but I would prefer a rigid handle, just a personal preference. I like the idea this can keep liquid hot for a long time this is great for long journeys. Should be good with the Thermos name. Would have scored 5* except for the handle
Just what I needed for my all day boating/fishing trips, keeps fluid “very hot”.
I looked at a number of flasks before deciding on this one. It’s a solid unit without the usual flip lids and valve which always seem to end up breaking or leaking. The whole unit is solid. The screw in top seals well and is made from a single piece. Simple design which works well. I had no problem keeping things hot from early morning to well into the night.
Great flask. Keeps my coffee warm. Used when I go and watch nephews play for there football teams.
Did some research and this was the most highly rated and it was not dissapointing. The hot drink kept hot for the whole of my shift of 7 hours. Glad I chose this.
Love this flask alot. Sustain the hot water for a long time and cold water more than that. Love the matt blue colour flask. Buy this for the second time which I like to gift it to my granny. Would recommend this to my friends and other relatives. Simply the best.
As it says on the side stays hot or cold for 24 hours, trust me it does, used it 3 times so far, hot tea stayed hot for 28 hours, cold drinks stayed ice cold for 24 hours but it would have been longer but I drank them all by the 24 hours.

The only problem I encountered was trying to read the instruction leaflet.
The type is so miniscule that you need an electron microscope to read it! I ended up scanning it on my computer and using enlargement on my graphics editor!
When sterilising I measured the temperature of the boiler water put into the flask at 94C and left it overnight. After qr hours I measured the water and it was 73C and piping hot.
I couldn’t believe and did it again, seriously, and the water dropped by 12C after 10 hours.
I call that impressive
I bought this flask as a previous, glass thermos unceremoniously imploded one morning when I was making my coffee. Delighted with the finish (love the metallic red) and a stainless steel inner means no more implosions. .
Just enough capacity to keep me going for the day without getting the caffeine jitters and after 14 hours my coffee was still warm enough to be pleasant to drink.
Well worth the price over a traditional vacuum flask.
It’s been keeping my drinks proper hot all day long, not like the cheap alternatives, no need to prime it either, my only criticism is it scratches & chips to easy, I would’ve preferred a stainless steel one but there didn’t seem to be on available when I ordered.
Still got 5 stars as it doesn’t worry me how it looks as long as it does the job it’s meant to do, and it does that easily
It does exactly what you expect, no issues from me.
In fact, it was a bit better than expected because I was anticipating it to alter the taste of my coffee for at least a couple of uses, but I cleaned it before first use and no smells or plastic tastes were present in first use as you might expect form lesser products.
I’ve now got 3 of these and 2 of the smaller food flasks and am about to purchase another 1.2l version.
You don’t have to prime these flasks, but if you do, it will keep the contents warm until the following day (to prime, simply fill with boiling water and leave to stand for 10 minutes as a preheating before you fill with the hot drink of your choice)
The oldest one i’ve had for a good few years, over 5, less than ten, and it has dings in the bottom where it falls out of my bag and as it is all metal construction there is no danger of breakage. Thank god we progressed from the glass lined flasks of old. I quite like the old flask with its battle scars, shows character, history, adventures and illustrates the strength and integrity of its manufacture and materials.
Simply cannot go wrong and with the colours available, you can even appease the misses with accessorisation lol she was particularly enamoured with her new teal/duck egg coloured flask 🙂
After previously purchasing a cheaper flask, I can now say that you definitely get what you pay for and there’s a significant difference in the build and design quality between this flask and the cheaper ones that are everywhere on Amazon.
The size of this flask means that it will hold around 3 mugs of coffee, I have used the lid once or twice as a cup but as it’s insulated I do not like doing this as it’s easy to switch off from the fact you are drinking something very hot when the container it’s in is at room temperature.
The cap on the flask is threaded and it’s really well made, unlike my cheaper flask where the lid popped off after being filled with boiling water and sprayed it all up my neck and face, how I didn’t get burned I’m not sure. You can partially unscrew the lid and pour from it, strangely it looks like it isn’t pouring properly as it runs down the cap itself as it pours, but it seems to do the job.
Drinks easily stay hot for 12 hours in this after testing. I made coffee in the morning and it was still piping hot at around 8PM, however the next morning it was luke warm. I’m dubious about the 24 hour hot drink claim, although in my case I did allow it to cool down somewhat by using it.
The only thing I don’t like about this flask is the handle, it gets in the way if you try to just pour by holding the flask and it clangs against the side of it when moving. It feels like the handle is trying to retain some 50s/60s? design feel, like the old aluminium lunch boxes. However, in practice it’s just annoying, sure it feels reasonably well made, but it’s also notched and can actually jump out of the notch mid pour.
Keep in mind that as this is a thermal flask it doesn’t get hot, it’s also not really wide enough to warrant the need for a handle, unless perhaps you have tiny hands?
This is a good flask, but it may be worth considering alternatives if you think the unnecessary handle might bother you.
just what I needed to keep the caffeine levels up at the fishing total quality as you get value for money compared to some of the other flasks I have purchased in my time
Excellent flask, sturdy and non leaking, kept the water hot enough to make a noodle pot even after 24 hours.
Good thermos but the lid keeps separating from the outer casing, I’ve glued it back it it’s happened again.
Im extremly happy with this purchase. Just tried it on my trip and first big camp and after 48 hours water was still warm. Other then that for 24 hours it’s seriously very hot so be careful to not burn your mouth 😉 I would highly recommend this brand.
Does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Sturdily made, good design and it looks good as well!!!
Kept our drinks very hot over the course of the day. A bit of a hassle to stop and pour, but the drink is hot and most welcome as a consequence.
This flask is class. Its keeps hot for ages.
I also ran over it in my car with 2 wheels. Lol
The thing is still working. Great product!!
