I make tea in it at 6:30am and it’s still piping hot when I pour myself a cuppa for the drive home at 6pm. Highly, highly, highly recommend!
Quality, with some reservations
Sturdy and well made as you would expect from the brand. Quite big, but that also increases the difficult in cleaning, make sure you have an extra long cleaning brush. Floppy buckle handle design gives it a learning curve to pour without the flask jerking around and making all sorts of rattling noise.

I had forgotten what hot tea had tasted like out of a flask. I wish I had brought this flask ages ago. It really keeps the tea piping hot for hours.

I hate boiling the kettle late at night, this thing holds enough coffee to fill my cup 4x and keeps. I drank my last cup 5hrs after filling the flask up and it was just as hot as when it was filled up. Perfect. And it pours cleanly too, no spills or having to wipe around the lid afterwards. Highly recommend. I only just 4 star for ease of clean since the diameter of the neck doesn’t allow me to get a sponge in and clean it but a few rinses of hot soapy water works I guess.

Amazing
This has been used mainly for cold nights for fishing in particular and it kept the tea so hot it was like the kettle had been boiled every time. It’s very easy to clean, would recommend doing it as soon as possible when you’re home especially if it’s had milk in, to stop any build up. Although if it is left for a day or two, this is easily fixed with some bicarb and boiling water, does the trick every time! No leakage noticed and used the cup included (lid) to have drinks. I note some people have said the cup gets very hot, but if it’s a cold night/day and you have gloves on then it’s not a problem at all.
Keeps it hot all day
This flask is worth the money. I Pre-heat in the morning for a couple of minutes and then load it with coffee. This is at about 07.15 hrs. The flask is still giving out hot coffee at well gone four in the afternoon. To date this is the best performing flask I have owned and it holds a lot of coffee! It is also very easy to clean the stopper unlike some flasks with their over complicated design to get the fluid out.
Brilliant flask
This flask is brilliant. I bought it for my husband to take to work and he loves it. I opened it after 30 hours (full and unopened) and the water was still hot enough to make a decent coffee. Well made, easy to use and pourable without taking the top off completely.

Best thermos in this range
I have been using a lot of thermoses and was waiting for this model to come on sale for more than a year. This thermos by far exceeds the performance of any thermos I have owned. I have kept boiling water in it around 5 AM and it is still piping hot by 9 am. The capacity of 1.2L is amazing and yet, the shape doesn’t look like it is a huge thermos.
It's robust easy to clean.
This is a good looking flask but the coating is easily scratched.
I would say it keeps drinks warm but only as long as you don’t open it. Once open it lasts a couple of hours.
It is easy to clean as it is mostly steel.
As it is steel and the handle can fold flat to conserve space, if it is left loose the flask rattles which is very annoying.
It is very robust as if knocked over it won’t break.

Don`t bother with the rest. Its just the best available.
2nd one purchased for self. Its tough and strong. Temp drop is minimal when hot and it does not leak even when its been thrown around the van most mornings.
Superb produc
This smart flask is exactly what I wanted. Gunmetal looks great and hot drinks stay as hot as they’re supposed to for what seems like an impossibly long time. Carry handle is useful but I suppose you’re more likely to put it in some sort of bag. It is slightly awkward to clean because I need to get a narrower brush. I’m splitting hairs there though. I’m very happy with the item.
Keeps things cool/ho
I’ve tested this with ice cubes over 24 hours in a warm environment. Not much melting after that time. I suppose the same will be the case with hot stuff in a cold environment.
I’m giving this 4/5 because the handle is a rattling nightmare. If this was in my pack and it came loose it would drive me loopy on a hike.
I also feel like they should provide a cleaning kit for the inside (as some brands do) because the shape just makes it difficult without special tools.
Lovely reliable flask
Bought for taking out in the car but has come in handy for when our kettle broke and we were boiling water In a pan and used this to keep the water hot. Haven’t timed it but it stays hot for a long time.
Lovely colour and design. So good in fact that now my son has pinched it and it’s hardly out of his bedroom as it saves him having to come down and boil the kettle for a drink
Keeps warm for ages
I bought this for a present for my wife. She likes to take a flask of tea out for the day. I remember my parents having one of these years ago and thought it would be ideal.
I was immediately disappointment that it didn’t feel quite as sturdy as the one of yester year but I must admit, it still does a fantastic job, and more importantly, my wife is delighted with it.
It keeps warm for ages – a full day out without any issues. We pre warm it before filling which I think also helps!
Wonderful thermos
This thermos replaced one from the hardware shop and was rubbish and the inside broke. The thermos you sent is wonderful l used it for cafe Nero so l could sit in comfort in my chair.

I’m a professional driver and take this flask filled with just boiling water everyday so that I can make a hot drink at any time. This flak is so good and retains it’s heat so well that I can still make a proper cup of tea 11 hours after filling the flask. I highly recommend this product.
Big and well made, hot drinks all day
Exactly what you would expect from Thermos, well made and excellent quality.
This thing is BIG but that’s exactly what I wanted, it keeps drinks piping hot or ice cold all day.
The cup that screws on top is a good size and insulated.

I originally got this to keep fishing bait in but the hole is a bit too slim so opted to use it for coffee like a normal person. Good volume and keeps it warm for hours. I left hot water in one evening and when I woke up it was still steaming hot.

Some drawbacks: the handle rattles and it feels flimsy; the cup becomes very hot when you pour hot liquid into it 🙁
Keeps temperature perfectly
Bought as a gift. This flask is brilliant at keeping water cold for an entire day, as well as keeping other liquids hot.
Even the next day, left over water is still cold when poured from this flask.
Really sturdy design although the handle not being fixed is slightly irritating.
Reliable flask
Bought this flask for my mum and it is as you’d expect from the brand, a good flask. Only complaint is that the handle is not rigid so can be a problem for elderly people if they are picking it up and holding it as it doesn’t feel as secure as the normal ones. Otherwise, happy with how it keeps warmth and the size and quality of it.
A life saver during the lock down.
I had to continue working during the lockdown and I didn’t want to use the communal coffee machine, this flask is brilliant, keeps coffee drinkably hot for 24 hours.
Minor downside the cup outer metal part came unstuck but I glued it back on, didn’t affect the function.

I love Thermos and this was to replace my 3rd glass once which broke (you’d think I’d have learnt my lesson after the 2nd one). Anyway, this is great and not too heavy to carry around in a backpack for a walk. I highly recommend.
Good quality useful flask.
I have been after a decent flask for ages. I can easily keep 3 big mugs of tea / coffee in it and it stays nice and hot.
The pourer is useful especially in the car so less chance of a spill and also keeps the heat in.

Bought for the winter lockdown and not disappointed. Brewed some coffee the night before, then took it on the hike the following day. Hot as I’d made it. Even dropped the flask at one point and no damage. The one I ordered was quite shiny and therefore attracts fingerprints, but other than that it’s been fantastic.
Keeps coffee piping hot - ideal for walking
I bought this to take walking for those essential, middle of nowhere, coffee breaks. I tested this first with boiling water by filling it straight from the kettle then leaving it all evening. When I opened it just before bedtime the water was still boiling hot and steaming. For a field test I took it out on a two hour walk full of hot, white coffee. When filling a flask like this be sure to fill it will boiling water first while you are preparing your drink then tip away the water and quickly add your drink and seal it up. I made the coffee in a pyrex jug first with milk and poured it onto the flask – 4 large mugs worth. An hour and half into the walk and the coffee was piping hot – success! The pouring cap works well and the lid works well as a mug. Even when i got home there was enough left in the flask for a final mug full and was still hot. I’d be happy using this all day – I’d throughly recommend it.

Been using everyday at work so I don’t have to mix with the kids in the canteen during the pandemic! It does a great job, keeping hot all day, I probably get three to four cups from it!

I have to be honest and say I only got to use this thermos once….and then the Covid-19 struck. But that once I found it to be everything you would want in a thermos.
solid built but difficult to wash inside
i havent tried it yet but what can i say is, its a bit chunky for a 1.2l capacity. i bought it to take it with me in the rucksack to work but it feels bigger then needed. worst part it you cant put hand inside to clean it and definatly have to buy a long brush and it is another expense.
Does exactly what a flask it meant to.
It definitely keeps hot drinks hot for hours and is easy to use and pour. You have to make the drink in another container before pouring it in to it, you’ll never be able to get a teabag out.

Cleaned it out and preheated the flask with hot tap water before filling with a kettle boiling water.Thats a perfect cup of freshly made proper tea 19 hrs after opening it 3 times!!!
Brought this in 2016 and have used it every week day to provide me with hot coffee through out the day. After 4 years its lost its sparkle on the out side, its sticker and its got a few dents where I dropped it but to be honest I couldn’t give a monkeys chuff because that’s not what keeps the coffee hot the flask does and with a fifty year guarantee this flask should see me out. Just recently I’ve purchased two more at a bargain 17 quid each. So if your after a flask then look no further this is the flask you’ve been looking for….. As long as you want to keep hot liquids hot and cold liquids cold and hold just over a litre of liquid.
The cup has had little use as I pour the coffee into a bigger insulated cup.
A great flask.
Very nicely made flask. Holds enough coffee for a full day at work. Using the top as a cup there would be enough for five cups easily. I only need three.
The simple screw plug to the top of the flask, which you pour through after half a turn, is not gimmicky and feels like it should have great longevity.
The thermos flask keeps my coffee plenty hot enough all day and indeed longer than I have a use for.
My only gripe is the metal buckle type construction of the handle. It’s noisy when in use or even when in a bag if it moves about. That being said it feels like a nice strong handle to use.
Very happy with this Thermos flask and would recommend it to anyone looking for a flask.

However, the handle is irritating. If you’re in a car or something then it’s fine I’m sure, but I use it on the fells when I go climbing.
And even when I pack it, the handle still manages to rattle, very annoying.
Will be cutting it off.
Water was hot all day
Bought to replace old thermos which has had one too many uses and it’s starting to show it’s age.
Slightly bulky for carrying about it hillwalking but if you have a larger bag and don’t mind the slight weight increase of a flask then this is ideal.
On first use water boiled and pouted in flask at 7am, still boiling hot when used at 2am and when pouring out the remainder at 10pm, there was still enough heat for a cup of tea!
Recommend a bottlebrush to help clean if putting anything other than hot/cold water in.

Better than stainless flasks used to be
Keeps liquids hot long enough to make a reasonable cup of tea with the last cup full, 10 hours after filling. Highly recommended.

I have recently bought two other flasks that shattered inside within days of purchase but also didn’t keep my tea very hot at all. This flask has been used and my tea was still really hot 5 hours later which I am very pleased with especially with this wet cold weather. Excellent price and excellent product.
Nothing like Thermos
Keeps coffee, cacao hot for a loooooong time. Love the old thermos style and feeling, thanks tonite stainless steel and the handle. No leaking even in the backpack. Trialled with boiling water in the afternoon and was still steaming the next morning. Glad I didn’t buy any cheaper non known brand one.
Almost perfec
It’s a very nice product, function-wise is almost flawless, however, the handle is something that really bothers me. It’s made out of metal, hinged to the bottle, and it flaps, quite a lot. It’s so clumsy, it’s so uncomfortable to hold, specially when the flask is fully loaded. I wish they had chosen a more traditional handle fixed to the flask itself.

Hot but a bit noisy
This is an excellent flask from the point of view of keeping drinks hot. it was still hot in the late afternoon after drinks mid morning and lunchtime. My one niggle is the silly handle design which can sound like a set of marracas in your rucksack if you do not silence the tapping of the handle fixings on the body of the flask.

Due ti the virus we decided on long journies to take our own hot water and mix our drinks en route. For just that this flask is priceless. It looks good and is great. It keeps our water very hot for a long time.

Best flask you’ll ever ow
It’s the best flask I’ve ever owned, it kept my hot chocolate hot for well over 15 hours.

Fantastic - does exactly what I need.
Fantastic flask. Decided to test it upon arrival. Filled with boiling water (did not preheat), and checked after 20 and 26 hours. After 20 water was just about hot enough to brew a decent cup of tea, and at 26 water was a little hotter than the temperature I would drink my tea at. I imagine with preheating the flask it would retain the heat a little better, but at its current stats already outperforms my needs. Delighted.
Prior to this I had a glass lined thermos which easily kept liquids hot for 16 hours (advertised 12). Bought this as a more durable replacement. It’s much more compact and looks like it’ll withstand being bounded about on the back of my bike.
As other reviews have mentioned, handle is a bit wobbly and can make a bit of noise. Lid isn’t a great cup, not very well insulated. But none of these are concerns for me.
Very efficient Thermos Flask
This is a brilliant thermos flask, It keeps coffee hot for over 48 hours – as tested recently on a trip from the UK to southern France by car. It is robust, light and very well designed, easy to use, and with a good-sized cup. Cannot recommend it more highly.

Bought this flask mostly for work. Really does keep drinks hot for 24hrs as long as you keep it unopened. The size is just right, makes five cups of drink. Simple but stylish design. Very well built. Really impressed, going to by another one for my parents, would definitely recommend.
So, being someone who loves the challenge of confirming, or disproving outlandish claims from manufactures, I was keen to test the claim by Thermos of keeping things hot or cold for 24 hours. Having had numerous flasks in the past, which on a good day would do the job for 6 hours or so, the challenge was on. So after filling with hot, not boiling water I took the temperature of the contents, and found it to be 59 degC. 24 hours later, it had dropped to 47 degC. I can only speak for myself here, but, I was more than impressed. The flask itself seems robust, and should survive a certain amount of mistreatment, that’s not to say it’s indestructible, as anyone with children will know, even Tonka toys are no match for a determined 4 year old, or a 9 kg load washing machine no match for a determined wife, but that’s another story. The poring system is of the quarter to half a turn then pour variety, rather than some of the more elaborate systems, which seem to fail after a while. This is simple, and relies on a single silicone rubber seal. It also give a predictable flow from the spout, and no drips running down the side of the flask. So well done Thermos, your claims are justified, you have made an excellent product. I would not hesitate in recommending this to friends, and may well now look at getting one of their food flasks as well.
Just the job.
I like this flask primarily because its method of allowing the user to pour without removing the inner stopper is so simple, therefore likely to remain effective for many a long year to come. It’s well and truly worthy of the Thermos name and it fits in the cubby box between the cab seats in my camper van, meaning that I don’t have to clamber over the engine hump to retrieve my refreshment from a cupboard in the galley. OK, so I could get out, walk round to the side door, get inside, place the flask on the passenger seat from behind, then get out, close the door, walk back to the driver’s door, etc…
Simplicity works every time, so buy one, it’s a good flask and the price paid was very fair.

This is a fab thermo flask,
It keeps our tea piping hot all day, and holds a good 4/ 5 cups of tea.
We put hot water in it to heat up before filling with tea.
It so far is leak proof, but we do always have it upright.
The handle that rattled against the side of the bottle can be a little annoying, but if you oad it out in whatever bag you’re carrying it in the man you can prevent it from rattling.
Other than that is a fab product. Love the colour and how much it can hold. Recommend this.
Looks great and keeps drinks ho
I love the colour of this thermos and it’s excellent at keeping your drink warm and doesn’t seem to leak. We have used it in several outings in Cornwall and have been very pleased.
I have two critisms, the first is the handle. It does have a tendancy to rattle if you dont secure it. It doesn’t lie flat on the thermos and just looks a tad cheap compared to the rest of the design. What would have been amazing would have been a leather strap handle but heyho, it does the job. Second point is that it only has one cup. It’s a large capacity for only one cup, my older thermos has two .
Overall i like the look and it works very well so I would recommend.
Tip – I always put some very hot tap water in there to warm it whilst the kettle is boiling.
Steaming hot tea all day long
After much research, really happy with this flask. It has kept my tea steaming hot all day and still warm overnight. Also nicest looking one on the market in my opinion. Bought a 1.5L Bottle Insulated Cool Bag With Strap from an auction site to protect it which also means I can sling it over shoulder.

Perfect for the job.
Who writes a review of a flask? Me. This is a fantastic bit of kit. It holds a lot of tea/coffee etc and doesn’t seem to carry that ‘flask’ flavour when you pour. The pour lid is great and doesn’t drip and it really does retain the heat for hours. Would recommend. Good value for money too.

The flask is really good quality. I left it at work on a Friday and on Monday the water was still warm so it definitely keeps it hot for the day. The handle isn’t actually that bad and when you start to pour it doesn’t rattle around.
My only gripe is the cup doesn’t have a small handle. It gets VERY hot.
Perfect for the job
Being a truck driver and not always able to stop for a coffee, this is perfect I only put boiling water in but it keeps its hot enough to make a brew at anytime through a 14hour shift.
Perfect for the job
Being a truck driver and not always able to stop for a coffee, this is perfect I only put boiling water in but it keeps its hot enough to make a brew at anytime through a 14hour shift.
Definitely recommended.
It really does keep the contents warm for 24 hours. It may be a different case if it’s periodically opened and closed but it kept the contents warm for 24 hrs for me.

Super happy
Genuinely thrilled with this. I bought this and the food flask together so I could take hot food and tea to work and couldn’t be happier with them both. Some reviews mention a funny taste to drinks, but I don’t find that at all, I’m super happy.

Stylish with usability
I use it for baby’s hot water and making formula. I love its stylish and it keeps hot and warm for long long time like a whole day. Sometimes it still too hot for making formula I have to mix it with cold water.

keeps everything piping hot,handle could be a bit better(make a rattling noise) and the opening could be a bit larger.All in though tea and coffee taste great from it so only small gripes.

Thermos is quality, I used it for work, keeps the tea nice and warm. I do not need to warm the tea up during the day. I make the tea at 6:30 am and it will be warm until 4:00 pm. But after opening the hot air escapes and tea starts to get cold towards 4:00 pm the tea is lukewarm sometimes cold. This is a good buy.
This flask is an absolute godsend for my cousin who is sadly terminally ill. With her worsening condition, trips to the kitchen to make a cup of tea were becoming a painful exercise – now with the flask filled to the brim with tea in the mornings she feels so much more relaxed throughout the day, probably due to the fact that she doesn’t have to keep asking for a cup of tea – even though it’s no trouble to make her a drink she enjoys having this little bit of independence. She keeps the flask next to her recliner and pours herself a steaming, hot cuppa anytime she likes – and yes it does stay really hot – though I will say she drinks the full contents in well under 12hrs!
For anyone who is confined to bed this an ideal way of ensuring a hot cup of tea/coffee/soup is on hand throughout the day, I can’t think of a better gift.

Love the product, keeps heat realy good, didn’t have a chance to try keep something cold. For now vacuum holds, I just hope after first drop those weld’s won’t crack.

Themos make but fiddly
The flask itself is of nice quality but it has a pull out handle that is quite fiddly and loose. The handle clips away to make storage easier. I prefer the older, fixed handles than make pouring easier whereas with this you have to hold the flask itself which is bulky.
Would I buy again – probably yes, because of the build quality compared to other makes.

Does what it promises. I can fill this up in the morning and still pour hot water from it 24 hours later. No issues with leaks and pours well. Perfect to keep me drinking coffee all day.

I bought this for hot water at my desk in the office, as the communal kettle was taken away during the Coronavirus pandemic. My first impression was how well-made it looks. It fell over on my passenger seat as I drove to work and it did not leak, so well done. Boiled water stays hot for the full 8-hour workday, so I’m very happy so far.

This flask feels well made. It really does keep your drinks hot for hours. I had hot coffee 9 hours after I had made it. I did warm the flask first by filling it with boiling water and then pouring it back into the kettle.
