Brilliant piece of equipme I replaced my old Garmin with this TomTom.it was so easy to set up and add addresses that are used regularly. The size of the screen is perfect and it’s a pleasure to not hear repetitive talking which means you can concentrate more. Thank you
Clear instructions Works well. Sucker attachment adhered well to windscreen glass but didn’t like the dashboard plastics in our Espace, Fiesta or Abarth. Nice and loud. Screen quality was average but you shouldn’t be looking at it too long anyway, so not a deal breaker. Did seem to want to send me on the most direct route regardless of country lane size, but that might be something that can be changed in the settings. Small unit size and very cheap too especially with European mapping.
Easy to set up Sat Nav and operate. Replaced a very similar Sat Nav which has given good service over some time. On this model the updates are carried out via wi-fi, unlike the previous model which had to be connected to a computer. Much easier now to update files, rather than keep removing the unit from car to computer then back again. Slightly different to my old model regards operating, but an improvement. Overall pleased with the upgrade.
Good, but . . . Mainly bought this TomTom sat nav because of live traffic which I didn’t have before, but good to find that it also updates itself via wi-fi and has a 6 inch screen. It’s good, I’m fairly happy with it and I like it’s navigational way of working. I can create routes on our larger pc screen and send to sat-nav that way, which is good.
My only criticisms would be that I find it difficult to clip on and off the screen mount, especially if it is mounted low down on the windscreen, also the size of it can be rather obtrusive, but can work around that I guess. I was not able to get live traffic whilst connecting to phone using bluetooth, so am having to create a wi-fi/hotspot on the phone and connect that way. As usual these days absolutely no instructions or guidance whatsoever included in the box re. how to actually use it, but much the same as any other sat nav, although a first time user might struggle.
Reliable and easy to keep up to date. Many years ago I had a small Tom Tom and it never let me down. Then cars had integrated Sat Navs, but they were never as reliable as a Tom Tom and hard to update. My latest car does not have sat nav but wants me to link my iPhone and use a navigation app. No thanks! I have gone back to the TomTom and now set out confident, as I usually drive on my own, that I can get to my destination without fuss. This version has a big, clear screen and using the mounting pads I bought separately, does not slide off the dash. Best navigation product on the market and I got it for a reduced price too! Bonus, I can share it with my daughter whose Volkswagen Beetle is also without built in Sat Nav. Colour me happy.
Bought as a prese This is better than my partners old tom Tom which was out dated and needed replaces. Excellent to help to find and drive to an unknown vets in Cumbernauld. Will easily get you from A to B, with no fuss. Its not complicated and is good quality, worth the price. I would buy Tom Tom agai
Big features in a small scree This is rather smaller than my previous satnav which died.
Despite being smaller, the screen is easy to read, much better than phone based satnavs, and takes up less space on the dashboard. Traffic information is a valuable service, and my regular journeys follow different routes depending on the traffic in Londo

Screen is enormous (heavier, and not really necessary) and sensitive (good) but use of the included suction mount or a robust dash holder is recommended – a satnav mat doesn’t keep the device stable, even under relatively modest acceleration from trainees.
Modern electronics make it faster to start up, and there are more features than you would have got a few years ago for the price. Overall, it’s OK.
Absolute Rubbish I buy a lot on Amazon but have not yet used this sat nav, when I tried it would not work, the screen wouldn’t stop jumping, completely use less but now the returns window is closed by just a few days. am very angry and will leave Amazon if I don’t get a refund or replacement! Happy now as replacement was forthcoming.
Sat Navs better than phone Some problems with Google play store mean you can’t get the app to work with pixel 6 but work round is to get 3rd party appstore to get the app that works with pixel 6 , so it’s a bit buggy to get set up initially, but that aside the actual sat nav is good and cheap If you really don’t want to use a phone like me so I’m a happy chappy

4.0 out of 5 stars It works I bought this to replace my ten year old TomTom which decided to die. The only drawback, in my opinion, is it does not sinc’ with my iPhone to make it “hands free”. My own fault for not researching properly. Anyway, with a bit of luck, no one will ring me (ha ha). Poor fonts and colours blend with background making it difficult to read the screen during the day. Not keen on the new menu system. Preferred the old (discontinued) one which was very easy to use and didn’t need an iPhone to operate.

Good as a SatNav but touchscreen and suction cup aren't so good As a Sat Nav it works fine and integrates well with the TomTom MyDrive App.
The touch screen isn’t so sensitive as more expensive TomTom’s that I’ve used and the suction cup is a bit of a pain to fasten securely on a windscreen. It’s now being used on a beanbag that’s on the dashboard.
Great value for money I needed an alternative satnav as the one in my car was outdated and after spending an age comparing different styles etc decided on this one and I have to say I am very happy.
The setup was easy and detail is clear and after a recent journey of 200+ miles into a new area it worked faultlessly.
TomTom Go Classic Sat-Nav Reasonably easy to set up, but I found it better to follow screen instructions rather than the down loaded full instructions, does the job very well my only complaint being that it is not possible to couple it to my car’s audio system, both are Bluetooth but not compatible, easy to couple to a smartphone though any you can download the App which gives you good control via the phone

Great for strange roads, as it gives clear, unambiguous directions This is particularly useful for quickly finding marshalling points on night rallies, as written directions, maps etc are not ideal on narrow country roads in the dark!
Easy set up, reasonably priced and quick delivery I have a satnav in my car but its so slow between journeys (I do meals on wheels) so brought this as a quicker alternative. So far so good, easy to use and very quick to swap between addresses. Clear instructions and nice large screen.

It’s so easy to use I know many cars have inbuilt sat nav, but for those of us that don’t have this luxury this satnav is just the best! I’ve had a Tom Tom for many years and didn’t hesitate to upgrade to this new model the screen is really responsive and visually it’s very clear, you can choose your voice eg male/female which also is very clear and not at all robotic I’m really pleased with my purchase
Better than the old one it replaced My old Tom-Tom having got more and more troublesome over they years it culminated in totally letting me down on the way to a ferry so I didn’t really want another, however I thought I’d give it another go having seen poor reports of the alternatives. Glad I did because this is so much better with easy map updates and better descriptions, although annoyed that the speed camera update is only for a limited period. The first one got lost at Dover (imported from France) but replacement easily sorted, bizarrely they’d previously suggested an alternative 100 more expensive but with no additional features, but at the end of the day they’re now competing with Google maps etc which comes free with most phones. I always use the cigarette lighter for power (adapter supplied) rather than the USB direct which can cause problems with screen dimming
Much needed upgrade Bought this as I was getting fed up with my old tomtom 25 which was very slow and laggy. This new one is much more responsive and better in every way.
Tom Tom Sat Nav Easy to update and charge on computer. First use took me to my destination just under ten miles and home again. Second use took me to destination and about half way home. Ok though as had lead with me to plug into the car which then completed the journey.
Absolutely Fantastic 10/10 My husband used this to drive from the UK all the way to Murcia in Spain and back again. He was very impressed with it, the way it should you which side of the road to be on and how to go around the roundabouts, it also warned you about the speed cameras along the way. 10/10
Recent trip to France. Decent size having a 6inch touch screen and easy fit to the window screen with a small but adequate sucker pad. Easy touch screen and interface clear and precise given instructions. So easy to find addresses and accurate within the intended target location. Cost was also very reasonable. On first plugging in went through an update once set up through your home Wi-Fi.
simple to use, clear instructions verbal and visual easy to use. particularly liked the visual dispaly of the road spedd limit and ours alongside…going red if exceeding. Also, warning of speed cameras ahead.
Perfect for travel This is my third Tom Tom device over the years. And about to go on a euro tour so hopefully will manage to get me around as car Bluetooth is not always the best. Would recommend as does everything required at a good price.

Not as a good as I had expected it would be I bought this to replace a TomTom Start 25 that was taking a long time to acquire satellites. The touch screen and the mount both work well. I was disappointed with the way the information is displayed on the screen as this is not as clear and helpful as it was with the Start 25. The user interface is also not as quick and easy to use.

omtom bleibt tomtom Mein 4. tomtom inzwischen und …..immer noch die gleichen Macken: der upload von Karten, das Verbinden am PC und es dauert ewig. Beim ersten Versuch, die Karten zu aktualisieren wollte ich es schon als zurck schicken, da gar nichts ging. Trotz allem bin ich dabei geblieben, weil es relativ einfach zu bedienen ist. Der etwas schwerfllige touchscreen ist gewhnungsbedrftig. Manchmal reagiert er trotzig und eigenwillig. Da wundert man sich dann, dass er sich auf dem Holzweg befindet. Man sollte immer wissen, wo man ungefhr lang muss. Auf einer nchtlichen Heimfahrt von einer unbekannten Gegend wurde ich ber unzhlige kleine Drfer geleitet. Die Fahrt dauerte dann auch doppelt so lang.
Das Gerät bringt mich ans Ziel Die Halterung des Gertes knnte etwas besser sein da es nicht so einfach ist denn richtigen Winkel zum anbringen zu finden und bei der Straenfhrung gibt sie immer Seitenstraen an und nicht die normale Hauptverbindung

Much easier now to update files, rather than keep removing the unit from car to computer then back again. Slightly different to my old model regards operating, but an improvement. Overall pleased with the upgrade.
Mainly bought this TomTom sat nav because of live traffic which I didn’t have before, but good to find that it also updates itself via wi-fi and has a 6 inch screen. It’s good, I’m fairly happy with it and I like it’s navigational way of working. I can create routes on our larger pc screen and send to sat-nav that way, which is good.
My only criticisms would be that I find it difficult to clip on and off the screen mount, especially if it is mounted low down on the windscreen, also the size of it can be rather obtrusive, but can work around that I guess. I was not able to get live traffic whilst connecting to phone using bluetooth, so am having to create a wi-fi/hotspot on the phone and connect that way. As usual these days absolutely no instructions or guidance whatsoever included in the box re. how to actually use it, but much the same as any other sat nav, although a first time user might struggle.
Reliable and easy to keep up to date.
Many years ago I had a small Tom Tom and it never let me down. Then cars had integrated Sat Navs, but they were never as reliable as a Tom Tom and hard to update. My latest car does not have sat nav but wants me to link my iPhone and use a navigation app. No thanks! I have gone back to the TomTom and now set out confident, as I usually drive on my own, that I can get to my destination without fuss. This version has a big, clear screen and using the mounting pads I bought separately, does not slide off the dash. Best navigation product on the market and I got it for a reduced price too! Bonus, I can share it with my daughter whose Volkswagen Beetle is also without built in Sat Nav. Colour me happy.

This is better than my partners old tom Tom which was out dated and needed replaces. Excellent to help to find and drive to an unknown vets in Cumbernauld. Will easily get you from A to B, with no fuss. Its not complicated and is good quality, worth the price. I would buy Tom Tom agai
This is rather smaller than my previous satnav which died.
Despite being smaller, the screen is easy to read, much better than phone based satnavs, and takes up less space on the dashboard. Traffic information is a valuable service, and my regular journeys follow different routes depending on the traffic in Londo
Needed a replacement for its smaller predecessor, and overall it does the job. Updates, although usually successful, are, er, interesting to install!
Screen is enormous (heavier, and not really necessary) and sensitive (good) but use of the included suction mount or a robust dash holder is recommended – a satnav mat doesn’t keep the device stable, even under relatively modest acceleration from trainees.
Modern electronics make it faster to start up, and there are more features than you would have got a few years ago for the price. Overall, it’s OK.
I buy a lot on Amazon but have not yet used this sat nav, when I tried it would not work, the screen wouldn’t stop jumping, completely use less but now the returns window is closed by just a few days. am very angry and will leave Amazon if I don’t get a refund or replacement! Happy now as replacement was forthcoming.
Some problems with Google play store mean you can’t get the app to work with pixel 6 but work round is to get 3rd party appstore to get the app that works with pixel 6 , so it’s a bit buggy to get set up initially, but that aside the actual sat nav is good and cheap If you really don’t want to use a phone like me so I’m a happy chappy

Doesn’t have some of the bells and whistles that some others do, but is great value for an excellent machine. The six inch screen makes a surprising amount of difference too. Maybe I was lucky but I had no problem at all in setting up
I bought this to replace my ten year old TomTom which decided to die. The only drawback, in my opinion, is it does not sinc’ with my iPhone to make it “hands free”. My own fault for not researching properly. Anyway, with a bit of luck, no one will ring me (ha ha). Poor fonts and colours blend with background making it difficult to read the screen during the day. Not keen on the new menu system. Preferred the old (discontinued) one which was very easy to use and didn’t need an iPhone to operate.

glad that partner printed out the instructions though as the visual images were not enough guide for me. You may be smarter!

As a Sat Nav it works fine and integrates well with the TomTom MyDrive App.
The touch screen isn’t so sensitive as more expensive TomTom’s that I’ve used and the suction cup is a bit of a pain to fasten securely on a windscreen. It’s now being used on a beanbag that’s on the dashboard.

I needed an alternative satnav as the one in my car was outdated and after spending an age comparing different styles etc decided on this one and I have to say I am very happy.
The setup was easy and detail is clear and after a recent journey of 200+ miles into a new area it worked faultlessly.

Reasonably easy to set up, but I found it better to follow screen instructions rather than the down loaded full instructions, does the job very well my only complaint being that it is not possible to couple it to my car’s audio system, both are Bluetooth but not compatible, easy to couple to a smartphone though any you can download the App which gives you good control via the phone

I know many cars have inbuilt sat nav, but for those of us that don’t have this luxury this satnav is just the best! I’ve had a Tom Tom for many years and didn’t hesitate to upgrade to this new model the screen is really responsive and visually it’s very clear, you can choose your voice eg male/female which also is very clear and not at all robotic I’m really pleased with my purchase

My old Tom-Tom having got more and more troublesome over they years it culminated in totally letting me down on the way to a ferry so I didn’t really want another, however I thought I’d give it another go having seen poor reports of the alternatives. Glad I did because this is so much better with easy map updates and better descriptions, although annoyed that the speed camera update is only for a limited period. The first one got lost at Dover (imported from France) but replacement easily sorted, bizarrely they’d previously suggested an alternative 100 more expensive but with no additional features, but at the end of the day they’re now competing with Google maps etc which comes free with most phones. I always use the cigarette lighter for power (adapter supplied) rather than the USB direct which can cause problems with screen dimming
Much needed upgrade
Bought this as I was getting fed up with my old tomtom 25 which was very slow and laggy. This new one is much more responsive and better in every way.
My third TomTom. Lovely be it for accuracy and easy use. Warmly recommend

Easy to update and charge on computer. First use took me to my destination just under ten miles and home again. Second use took me to destination and about half way home. Ok though as had lead with me to plug into the car which then completed the journey.

My husband used this to drive from the UK all the way to Murcia in Spain and back again. He was very impressed with it, the way it should you which side of the road to be on and how to go around the roundabouts, it also warned you about the speed cameras along the way. 10/10
Recent trip to France.
Decent size having a 6inch touch screen and easy fit to the window screen with a small but adequate sucker pad. Easy touch screen and interface clear and precise given instructions. So easy to find addresses and accurate within the intended target location. Cost was also very reasonable. On first plugging in went through an update once set up through your home Wi-Fi.

easy to use. particularly liked the visual dispaly of the road spedd limit and ours alongside…going red if exceeding. Also, warning of speed cameras ahead.

This is my third Tom Tom device over the years. And about to go on a euro tour so hopefully will manage to get me around as car Bluetooth is not always the best. Would recommend as does everything required at a good price.

I bought this to replace a TomTom Start 25 that was taking a long time to acquire satellites. The touch screen and the mount both work well. I was disappointed with the way the information is displayed on the screen as this is not as clear and helpful as it was with the Start 25. The user interface is also not as quick and easy to use.

Mein 4. tomtom inzwischen und …..immer noch die gleichen Macken: der upload von Karten, das Verbinden am PC und es dauert ewig. Beim ersten Versuch, die Karten zu aktualisieren wollte ich es schon als zurck schicken, da gar nichts ging. Trotz allem bin ich dabei geblieben, weil es relativ einfach zu bedienen ist. Der etwas schwerfllige touchscreen ist gewhnungsbedrftig. Manchmal reagiert er trotzig und eigenwillig. Da wundert man sich dann, dass er sich auf dem Holzweg befindet. Man sollte immer wissen, wo man ungefhr lang muss. Auf einer nchtlichen Heimfahrt von einer unbekannten Gegend wurde ich ber unzhlige kleine Drfer geleitet. Die Fahrt dauerte dann auch doppelt so lang.
Die Halterung des Gertes knnte etwas besser sein da es nicht so einfach ist denn richtigen Winkel zum anbringen zu finden und bei der Straenfhrung gibt sie immer Seitenstraen an und nicht die normale Hauptverbindung
