    Good food and great chips
We’ve been using this air-fryer for a few weeks, and we are really pleased with it. It’s easy to use, easy to clean, and does great food — particularly chips! Five stars.

Game changer for after school tea !
This is a very good, fast, efficient air fryer. It’s great if you have children or run a busy life. The air fryer makes cooking chips, nuggets, meat ect so much faster and it all tastes so much crispier and better than in the oven. It’s so easy to clean and use and doesn’t need to heat up before use. Would highly recommend!

    Great !
Very convenient and easy to use. Very Multifunctional as well. It takes very little oil to get maximum finish as any other deep fried foods. On a bigger size but so far it’s been used few times a week for family meals . Cleaning is simple as well. Very happy with it.

Good size and easy to use
Easy to use as the controls are basic. The window is great as you can see what’s cooking without having to open the drawer often thus reducing the temperature. Crisps food up nicely and quicker than a conventional oven. The basket is easy to take apart for cleaning.

    It’s a very useful appliance.
We ordered this Towel air fryer to replace our unbranded one. We use it most days, very rarely use our oven, its so easy to use, Just chuck in and cook, love the viewing window design, we don’t have to open up the drawer to check. Really save the energy. Also everything is healthier than deep fried and it gives fantastic results every time.
The 7 litre capacity is much bigger than our previous one, we can cook more food for our big family.
I’ve used it for fried rice, stir frys, crispy kale chips & roasted chickpeas, my daughter loves use it for heating pizza, potato waffle, chicken nuggetsall finished in 10 minutes and don’t need preheat liks oven.
This is a manual model one so there are only two manual controls, you just need to know the cooking time and temperature before set up.
Very nice air fryer, a bit pricey but worth it!

    Practical & functional
Packaged safely with good quality craftsmanship and very easy setup with straight forward instructions. So this air fryer is quick and convenient with an excellent capacity for endless daily choice of food to choose from and to be Fair its so easy to use and heats up well cooking various foods with ease. If you haven’t purchased an airfryer before you’ll deffo not be disappointed as its healthier and cheaper to run then a conventional oven and its storage friendly in the kitchen, also the viewing window is decent and you can use the handle to shake or remove foods onto plates easier aswell.
In terms of performance and operation, it works well and definitely is quiet

Cleaning and maintenance is basic and is so straight forward. So overall a high quality functional airfryer at a fair price all in all with great cooking abilities

    Easy to use
Easy to use, settings are simple with timer and temperature controls. Can also reheat food with that near to fresh/crisp taste. It is perfect for our needs and so quick. Obviously we have cooked chips, super crisp and healthy. We have cooked Pork Chops, Onion Rings, Hash Browns and even warmed Cornish Pasties among many other things. I like the fact that you can see what you’re preparing inside and it’s big enough for what i needed it for.

    Excellent air frye
This air fryer is great value for money.

It’s really easy to use. It doesn’t come with a recipe book, but it’s easy to look up recipes online.

It’s such a fantastic healthy option compared to standard frying or, worse, deep frying. It makes great chips in 15 minutes with a tiny amount of oil.

This is a big machine, but the plus side is that it has a large 7L capacity. We’re a big family but this will cook enough that everyone gets a portion.

It’s very easy to clean after use.

Here's How Easy it Was to Operate:
We were able to make nice crisp chips, not even homemade which ive had to do in the past to get the gourmet pub type twice-cooked chips crispiness with a soft and fluffy inner.
I was able to achieve that same effect by simply popping in frozen ready made chips.

The 7 litre cooks enough for a family of four and then some, so hope you like tour portions large! The manual functionality of the larger unit was a doddle to decipher. Simple even for our 13 year old to operate with a bit of guidance and a watchful eye. The visor-like viewing window “into the furness”, as he likes to say, makes it easy to keep an eye on his meal to ensure he can cook it to his exacting teenage standards – which only HE can get right. Apparently.
He makes himself a late night feast of farm bought sausages I keep in the freezer, along with the usual accompanying fry-up, but minus the mess of actually frying up on the hob. Which HE can’t seem to clean right.

Clean up is quite straightforward, the components are mostly non-stick, I tend to stick some of them in the dishwasher for speedy fuss-free cleaning.

He’s hasn’t noticed a huge difference in the results from the air fryer, compared to when I prepare a proper fry-up as he likes a crisp outer texture. Of course he does! Who would like a soggy air fry up?!

5 stars – pretty good price for the results which aren’t too far off our more pricier Ninja air fryer.

    excellent, simple to use
Fryer was well packed and once out of the box it looks stunning on my kitchen counter. This fryer is simple to use with simple dials, just two manual controls for time and temperature, set the temp and time and off you go. Not complicated digital controls. It’s a massive time saver. All meals cooked or grilled effortlessly, not to mention healthier than frying. Makes lovely crispy chips and have also cooked other food including chicken and fish. I like the fact that you can see what you’re preparing inside. Excellent.

The air fryer you can't live without!
This air fryer and grill by Tower has seriously changed the game and has levelled up our daily cooking. Air frying food is a far healthier and surprisingly tastier than cooking food in the oven or deep fryer. Unlike a microwave, air fryers do not remove nutrients in the food so you can rest assured that your tasty meal is as good for you as it is for your tastebuds.

It’s been a no brainer to have McCain chips in this air fryer, the fries have never tasted so good and now the whole family is addicted. I even caught my mum sneaking into the freezer trying to grab some fries for breakfast

It goes without saying that this air fryer is super versatile, you can grill steak, cook various meats/fish, even bake a cake. The options are almost endless and the easy to use interface makes this even easier. Simply slide the dial to the necessary temperature, set the timer and you can let the air fryer do it’s thing so you have more time to do the things you love in the meantime. If you are cooking fries I’d suggest moving the fries around every 5 minutes to ensure every chip has an equal cook and crispyness to it.

If you are concerned about electricity, don’t be. I did the maths and this air fryer uses far less electricity than most ovens and cooks your food faster. This means healthier food at a fraction of the cost.

I really love the design of the air fryer and grill too. It is compact in design, looks modern and sleek and looks great in my kitchen. This Tower air fryer has been a part of the family for just a week and now we can’t live without it.

    5 stars!

Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! 🙂

Could do with a recipe bookle
I have used a Tefal Actifry for a number of years. Well, not just one, but several different ones as they just never lasted very long before they went bang, or just stopped working. For some reason I had always stayed away from this style of air fryer because of the need for manual turning of food, but I am already won over by this Tower air fryer, despite one limitation.

The Airfryer is a counter top fan oven. The food is cooked in a basket that is pulled out from the bottom half of the Airfryer and can be removed from the main housing for easy cleaning (a quick soak and rub with a washing up brush is all that mine has needed).

There is no mention of the basket being dishwasher safe, but there is a clear warning that nothing should be immersed in water, so I am assuming that means no to a dishwasher for the basket. Wiping with a non abrasive cloth is all you as an do as you need to protect the surface, so make sure you clean it after every use or you could end up with residue that you can’t shift.

It is a lightweight unit that is taller than an Actifry, but still relatively easy to store in a kitchen cupboard, so it doesn’t have to stay out on display, unless you want it to. It is stylish enough that it won’t look out of place if you leave it out. Note that placement is one of the tricky things and there is a requirement for a 10cm gap around the appliance and that includes above, which rules out use under the cupboards in my rental home as they are far too low. I only have one spot where I can use this and it is in the utility room, so not the most convenient location (no impact on rating; it is a safety issue, just something you need to consider before purchase).

Where this scores highly by comparison to an Actifry is in the variety of items you can cook inside – cakes, for example, as well as delicate things that an Actifry would just mash up in the cooking process. There isn’t a recipe book in the box or even very full explanations of how to use this, so you need to go to the Facebook app to pick up hints and tips, particularly when new to it.

Unlike an Actifry, cooking food merely has hot air blown over it – there is no stirring mechanism incorporated. Where necessary, food needs to be manually stirred during the cooking process and this can be tricky if the basket has been filled to the maximum level and you are cooking chips, for example. Having said that, I found that oven chips came out better than they do if cooked in my fan oven (even though this is done on a specially designed tray) and small portions can (just about) come out well even if you forget to stir partway through (I have done so).

The reason for a four star rating is that the heating element is exposed and tricky to clean. As a vegetarian, this means I either have to use this solely for vegetarian cooking or, if I decide to cook meat products for my partner, it would have to be used only for non-vegetarian cooking in the future as I couldn’t be sure of getting things clean enough to suit my requirements. But it is inevitable that the heating element will pick up residue over time as it is impossible to get to it for a full clean and that will impact on the device longevity as well as potentially the taste of the food.

I like this Airfryer and the variety of items it can be used to cook is pretty amazing. It is a good item to accompany students to university digs or as a housewarming/engagement/wedding gift as well as a decent cooking option if you are having your kitchen refitted. I am a convert from an Actifry.

    This oven is amazing
    This oven is amazing,

The food tastes better and cooks perfectly.

We are still trying to perfect the roast potatoes but will get there in the end,

We love the versatility it presents and the fact that it is so easy to clean.

These air fryers are the new thing now and new ways of cooking, much easier.

There is a viewing window which many dont have which I think is great as you can constantly check the process of the food without keep having to open the lid

It is absolutely amazing for wings and sweet potato fries etc

    Nice crispy skin on chicken

Moist meat and cooked thoroughly with no dry parts.

    Amazing air fryer, Highly recommended
This is the best actual air fryer I’ve owned, it doesn’t have digital controls relying on an analog timer and temperature control. Might seem basic but what it lacks in shiny new technology, it makes up for in aesthetics and capacity.

    Pros:
Cooks foods evenly due to the bottom plate design, most foods won’t require turning in here.
Has a large capacity of 7 litres, good enough for even a larger family.
The design looks sleek with nothing on the front except for the handle and a tinted window that can only be seen when the air fryer is on. It’s placed quite high up on the front and gives you the ability to get a clear view of the food that’s cooking.

    Cons:
Just the drawer takes quite a bit of effort to close and click into place. It’s not difficult to do and I’m thinking this will free up over time making it easier to open and close.

I can recommend this without any hesitation, as close to perfect as you’re gonna get from an air fryer at this price point.

As a final note and piece of advice, if you want to air fry foods, get some sunflower oil in a little stray bottle to put on them. This keeps it from drying out during cooking and makes things cook much better(in my opinion) it’s the difference between dry oven chips and healthy “air fryer” chips.

    A great family sized frye
Finally a decent air fryer whch is large enough for the family. One of the selling points with these air fryers is they are still cheaper to run than and oven and in some ways can replace an oven. Why put the whole oven on for a meal or two when you have shive it into the air fryer.

You can adjust the temperature 80 to 200 degress so goes nearly as hot as a proper oven , it does everything from chicken nuggets, sausages and of course chips. In fact , you can do so much in these ovens these days.

It is very easy to use , 2 controllers, one for timer and one for temperature. It will shut off when the timer ends. The drawer opens out and can be cleaned away from the fryer and has a non stick surface.

One of the benefits of a air fryer is that it is healthier as there are no or little oil, sometimes I spray oil on my own chips. It also cooks things very quick and evenly.

This is a great compact air fryer, it is well made, nice and large, customised controls and the viewing window is handy so you can see your food when its cooked without opening it. There is no turning paddle so half way , I open it up and give it a shake.

Easy to use, clear instructions, easy to clean.
My daughter does most of the cooking and she loves it. I do, too. It’s great for heating up pizza slices, etc. Keeps the kitchen cooler since we don’t use the oven as much.only just give up on our deep fat fryer, its so much healthier and no lingering smells! If youre old school like me buy this now

Easy to use it and easy to clean it. Fries quickly, around half (or less) time is neeed as usual. The user quide is good, definitely worths to read it carefully, especially if you never have got a similar item to this earlier.

What a brilliant product. Great size, suitable for family cooking. Also love that it can be used for other things like toasting croissants, so handy.

Absolute game changer we’ve hardly used my cooker , easy to use , everything we’ve cooked comes out perfect and the chips are so crispy and also easy to clea

This is huge, looks great, is well designed, and is easy to use.
The first thing I tried was fries:
I don’t like reading instructions so I just guessed what to do. I pressed the buttons until the picture of fries came up. The time and temp were already set (15 mins, 200 C).
So I put the frozen chips in and 15 mins later had crunchy delicious french fries! No need to add any oil.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFantastic Air Fryer!
I got this air fryer to expand my options when making dinners for myself and my family.

The package came in a box and was protected well with styrofoam and peel off covers over the digital display which protected against scratches.

Upon opening this product it was clear to see that this was a good purchase, it’s shiny black casing matches my other appliances and it came with a very detailed instruction manual in regards to cooking times and also has some recipes inside.

The thing I like best about this air fryer is the multi-functionality in its design, it provides a healthier option to fry but also allows you to make a wide range of dishes, such as chicken, vegetables, pizza, chips and even cakes! And it’s 8 pre set functions make it so easy to cook dishes and not have to worry about working out how long it needs to be in for, just a few clicks and let it work it’s magic.

What I would improve about this product is include some customisable options with the tray to fully utilise the different cooking options.

The main thing I use this product for is homemade chips as they are healthier and also chicken wings as they are one of my favourite dishes.

Overall, this product was a great addition to my kitchen hardware and once you own a air fryer it’s hard to imagine not owning on as you tend to use it most days of the week. I would 100% recommend this product to anyone as it’s a great bit of kit at a reasonable price.

This product is amazing. It modem looks good and most of all cooks your food thoroughly in minutes. It’s easy to use fast and easy to clean. I would recommend that you buy a airfryer cook/recipe book as this product doesn’t come with one. I’ve fell in love with this product. I don’t know why it’s take me this long to buy one. It’s such a healthier option too.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a bulky air dryer that does a good job cooking your food!
The first impression is that this thing is a beast so you better have some free space in your kitchen or you’ll be surprised!

It has a large sliding cooking pan. Sliding it in and out could have been smoother! Maybe the trick is to pull it out slowly so you avoid too much friction. Anyway this is normally not a big deal!

Control panel has a large and visible screen which displays the temperature and time. It’s very simple to operate it.

Regarding the functionality, it’s been a pleasure to cook with this. Makes very crispy and nice fries. Also, it’s large enough to through a Kilogram of chicken thighs or drumsticks. It does cook chicken nicely and juicy! You can also through in some vegetables to air dry quickly and enjoy with your food.

Cleaning the pan is also very easy! Just be careful because it gets hot. I would let the pan to cool off a bit before rising it with water. But since the pan is pretty wide washing and cleaning is very easy.

In conclusion, the most surprising part for me was to open up a space for this air dryer in my kitchen, the rest was a pleasure!

This air fryer is stylish and has an impressive 6.5 litre capacity which makes it great for a family. It is quite big in size but it is worth it for the capacity.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersI love this airfryer!
This airfryer is easy to clean and cooks evenly in nearly half the time it would have taken to cook and fry things the conventional way. Yes, it’s big, but trust me after trying a smaller one (with 3.5L capacity and 1300w at this very same price from another reputable brand), this airfryer’ spacious capacity is a very welcomed upgrade. It just means that I can cook that little extra amount that I couldn’t do before without cooking in batches. It takes a much lesser space than a microwave and the size is not spread horizontally but vertically. I don’t mind the size at all as it also opens up for me so many options with what I can do, and for the price it’s a bargain.

The build quality is excellent as expected from Tower and I like the glossy black finish — looks very sleek and it actually helps camouflage its size. the digital touch control is very responsive and the temperature set is very accurate with a -2/+2 difference (I verified this by inserting a temperature probe connected to an external reader). It bakes well (I made delicious quiches, lasagnes and fish pies), it grills well too and it’s airfrying is fantastic. I use my own baking trays in there (ones that fit) with any issues. Much more economical to run and healthier than a conventional oven and does nearly everything the latter is capable of doing. I would be very happy to recommend it.

I’ve never known how air fryers work it fascinates me how it manages to cook food. But it works and that’s what matters. It actually works better than I thought it would. The fryer itself is very large I know 6.5l is the larger size but I wasn’t it to be so big, it takes up a lot of space on the countertop so we’ve decided to keep it in the cupboard whilst not in use.
The controls are easy to use and switch between the functions of frying, roasting, grilling and baking as well as adjusting the temperature and time. The tray is large and easy to remove and clean. Versatile in making different things, attached is two versions of pork belly that we’ve done.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersHealthy cooking air frye
I ordered this product as wanted to try an alternative to my daily use of a deep fat fryer.

Came in a nice professional box with the brand on with a picture of the fryer and some features! Good quality packaging.

My first thoughts when opening the fryer was that it was bigger than I expected. Although no issues, it now just takes up a corner of my kitchen.

I like the digital display a lot. Easy to set timer and allocate the setting of your choice!

I ordered this as a healthier alternative than my go to for chips and some other foods that can be fried. Although healthier, in my opinion is not better tasting and does not replace my deep fat fryer. Instead I try to use the air fryer for cooking foods on weekdays, and the more unhealthy option on weekends as a treat.

I think the price is fair for the product. Cooks food to a high quality with a cool design, with a very nice digital display!

Overall the food is nice. The product is high quality with some features I like. Good value for money. Good for cooking many different foods.

    I would recommend this product.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersPerforms really well with a couple of minor niggles
This arrived in a large Tower branded box with a carry handle and splashed with various aseptically pleasing pictures of the cooker along with cooked food items. Inside the cooker is well packed and secured each end with polystyrene and the cooker in a protective bag along with the draw being secured with tape, I found the instruction manual very clear and easy to follow also including itemised pictures for reference and identification.

First impressions: this is as you would expect with its 6.5L capacity a very large unit and takes up quite a big kitchen workspace footprint, the finish is shinny black plastic and I think matt black would have been a better choice so as not to show any scratches or finger prints so obviously, the LED touch screen is very clear and looks very neat along with the touch sensitivity being good and accurate. The draw has a release to separate the basket which works well and not only makes it easier for removing the contents it makes it quick and easy to clean, the draw can be a bit awkward to push back in but after using it now for a while I seem to have the knack of doing it and no longer have a problem.

After unpacking everything I gave it a try out following the homemade fries recipe in the back of the instruction book, normally with an air fryer I would interrupt the cooking process when cooking chips to give them a shake up to ensure even browning and cooking but as this did not indicate to do so I left them full time with no interruption and was really impressed with the results being evenly cooked and browned. I cooked some beef burgers and a gammon steak again I was impressed with the results, I have since cooked various other items including chicken wings, chicken breasts and fish all of which came out perfect.

Overall this air fryer delivers superb results and I was impressed, the negatives for me are not so much the size but the shape which means it takes up a lot of storage space, the draw can be a bit awkward to replace until you get used to it and the shinny finish shows every mark, the positives are it works extremely well, the touch screen display is clear and very easy to navigate, the manual is very good all being in English and easy to follow, the draw separates with a quick release button making serving and cleaning very easy.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersGood for family - Easy to use - Far less smell than normal frye
I am quite familiar with the principle of a deep fat and air friers as I already have a ninja product that does air frying however they can’t do much at one time. This tower unit is designed to cook a suitable portion for 2 to 4 adults with ease. Although the first thing you will undoubtedly trying this is chips, with which you will be very happy, there is so much more that you can cook and I will regularly do winter vegetable selection or make thin vegetable crisps all of which cooked perfectly in this unit. The trick is using the right oil mist spray and insuring use an oil that can be cooked at higher temperatures without smoking. I have noticed a few people aren’t too keen on the high polish finish on the outer casing but for me I think it fits really well into my kitchen and is easy to clean. If I had one criticism it would be that it does seem to take awhile but I would imagine that is due to the volume it can cook a full portion of chips for example will take around 16 to 18 minutes so not that much quicker than the oven but the quality and overall finish is far better using hardly any oil at all. You can smell some of the cooking smell from the unit itself but it is far better than any kind of standalone fryer and no different to what you would get from when you open your oven door. The main frying basket is really easy to clean and separate from the unit however I would only recommend cleaning with soap and water this would not be cleaned in the dishwasher.

Definitely have a look on video sites because there is literally hundreds of fantastic ideas for these air fryer is even doing things like cakes et cetera although I haven’t yet tried that.

Overall it’s a well-made product with an easy-to-use interface and a handy timer so I would say it is great value and a good addition for any family home that is trying to cook a little more healthy.

    Temperature settings
    Great size basket

Insulation not great – heats up everything remotely close to it
    Uneven cooking

It’s a lot bigger than I thought it would be and it seems to extrude heat in the immediate vicinity

Easy to use – almost intuitive, with the smart menu function that just allows you to choose the symbol of the food you are cooking, or …you can go old-school and set the temperature and the time yourself!

    And it is sooooo affordable!
Easy to clean too – the inner basket can be easily unclipped and the whole load just goes into your dishwasher or ..hand-wash it, if you like!
I have a super-duper Tef.. that costs 3 times as much, and believe me 0 the only difference ( apart from the price) and the fact that you can fit way more food in this Tower fryer is the fact that this one does not have a ladle to move your food, so if it is chips you are making, you may need to give it a shake half way through the cycle.
It gives you crispy golden finish and it your food does not dry out on the inside, so fluffy on the inside and crisp on the outside – yep, this is what you will get!
    Definitely recommend!

The control panel on the tower Vortex is simple to use. I’ve only made some chips in it and they were lovely and crispy without a drop of oil needed!! The 6.5 litre basket is an oblong shape which will fit well if you pop a chicken in it! You can air crisp, roast, grill and bake with it.

The instruction manual is quite basic, a more in-depth recipe booklet would have been good addition. The basket is removed easily for cleaning.
