Very pretty microwave, it does look great in my kitchen.
The size is nice and holds a standard plate of food easily.
It’s easy to use and the digital display is nice and clear, there is also an instruction leaflet.
The first one I received was faulty and didn’t heat anything at all so I was already a little sceptical when my replacement arrived.
To start with I thought the heating was a little inconsistent compared to what I’m used to but after a really good stir, it seems okay
Looks good and works but serious doubts its actually brand new and the packing inside (polystyrene) was snapped into 2 pieces and not whole
I bought tower dry fryer which is great, but I was a bit disappointed when I received my new microwave, as the gold on fryer was a matt finish, the microwave was shinny finish they do not match apart from that both great.

Got this as a replacement for our old microwave where the plastic door handle had broken. This is a bit smaller – only just fits one of our dinner plates in, but it does the job and is easy to use. the dial sets cooking tome in 10 second increments and power is adjustable from full (800w) down to 80 / 60 / 40 percent etc. It looks good – the rose gold trim fits in well with the wood in our kitchen, and the door handle is a lot more substantial than our previous microwave. The only bad point we have found is the glass in the door is quite heavily tinted, so even with the light on inside during cooking it is quite difficult to see if the contents are boiling over or not. Overall, a nice compact microwave.
If a microwave can be described as a thing of beauty, this microwave certainly can. I notice that another reviewer described it as “blingy”. This is probably true but I still liked it. As can be seen from the picture the microwave itself is glossy black and the handle and dials are rose gold. The door also has a rose gold frame around it. It is possible to buy a toaster, a kettle, storage jars etc, etc to match and these also look really good. Like the microwave, however, these are all pretty expensive. I would have bought the matching toaster if it had been less expensive. This microwave is smaller than my old microwave which I didn’t realise until I received it and compared the two. Nevertheless it is big enough for my needs and probably for most people. I found it straight forward to use once I had used it a few times. I like the Auto Reminder function which I did not have on my old microwave. This means that when the selected process is finished, the microwave beeps 3 times to let you know. This will continue to happen at 3 minute intervals until you either cancel or open the door. I found this useful, though sometimes annoying! I tend to use the microwave in a very simple way so have not used some of the more complicated functions (and probably never will). Again it is simply a case of becoming familiar with the various functions and the instruction manual is clear and easy to follow. Altogether this is an attractive and easy to use microwave. I have given it 4 stars rather than 5 because I thought it was expensive.
On unpacking it, it was not quite as bling as I thought it would be but still looked very nice and smart. The black casing with gold features looks very smart. It is more of a bronze colour or rose gold depending upon the light.
It was easy to unpack and put in place.
The controls are very easy to use. I am someone who is quite tech savvy, but often the amount of different buttons on a microwave can have me bamboozled.
This keeps it simple and functional and I am particularly glad they have a dial on it which makes it far easier to select the length of time you want it to microwave. But repeated clicking of the power button also increases the time in increments of 10 seconds so you have that option also.
Setting the time was also quick and easy and the options for defrosting are very easy to use. On past microwaves I would usually just blast on full power for a small period rather than try and work out the defrost functions. But on this I will use them because they are easy.
It only fits a medium sized plate inside it so not larger plate if you want to microwave a lot.
But its 800 watts means it is very powerful and heats things very well.
I am very impressed with this. It look smart, is very functional and a good addition to the kitchen.
You would think that all microwaves produce the same results. Well, I would, but I’m seeing improvements to the food I’m microwaving in it too. If there’s a mark against, it’s that mine is considerably louder than what I’m used to. I’m not sure if this is the case with all models though. The other potential problem is that, while it looks posh, the buttons do feel quite cheap and I wonder how long I can expect it to last. To be continued…
In terms of its basic function, it performs immaculately and is easy to operate. There are a number of secondary functions that might take a bit of getting used to, but in terms of following the 800w instruction on food packaging, it’s easy as ABC.
Really love this minctowave! It’s hard to get a good idea of a colour when it’s online, I wasn’t convinced with the rose gold and black on a kitchen appliance but I love it!!
I like the digital display it’s bright as it’s led lights. It took some getting used to the controls and functions (and teaching then to the household) but we are overjoyed! It’s an 800 watt too so it’s ideal with my children as it’s not too powerful.
Microwaves are pretty boring looking things but this design is just stunning. The rose gold effect is so pretty and its lovely to look at.
I used it to make a jacket potoato and it was beautiful.
Things I noticed;
1. The rose gold is pretty but it tends to show up finger marks pretty easily
2. The sides got hot after use but then I am sure thats the same for all microwaves
3. Despite adjusting the legs the microwave wasn’t even and has a slight wobble
Over all though its a pretty good little oven and I am pleased with it.
I have to say, I’m not overly taken by the rose gold myself… but design apart, this is a decent compact microwave. Perfect when space is at a premium. It’s easy to use, a quick glance at the manual and I can use it for the basics. As with many people, I use a microwave mainly to heat things up or defrost them so I don’t need to know all the settings! I like the manual knob for adjusting the time, this is so easy to use and adjust.
This microwave works very well, the timing options are good and the door fits well. Both inside and outside are easy to keep clean. The size is excellent, as it sits easily onto a 12inch deep shelf. The gold trim is gaudier than I expected and I would have preferred it to be a bit more understated, but it does not prevent it working well.
The only problem I have with it is that the sticker covering almost the entire front was attached in one area with a powerful glue. Most of the sticker did peel off smoothly and easily but the glue in one place will not come off and is unsightly andsticky – otherwise, 5 stars.
But anyway , enough of its looks. How does it perform at the job it is supposed to do? The first thing that struck me was how dinky it is compared to our previous microwave. A large dining plate is just about encompassed by the unit. I suspect it my be too small for some. However it still punches out 800 watts of power.
Operationally it is not the easiest to get the hang of. The timer/weight dial is as fiddly as Fiddy the fiddler playing in “Fiddler on the Roof”. This means you alternate the power of the unit , a feature I doubt I will ever use, along with the cooking time. More experienced , nuanced cooks may find this useful . It took me some getting used to so much so that i will hardly use it I suspect.
The express or auto- cook buttons are more the sort of options I will use. The express allows you to cycle between 0:30 , 1:00, 1:30 seconds. The auto – cook gives the option to set the cooking according to the food type and weight. The instant/start feature will also get some clout , especially from the junior members of the household who just want to heat something up before retiring back to their respective bedrooms to play Death Bangers 4 or Lets shoot everything in sight while shouting loudly redux edition. Talking of which there is also a child lock which is also useful during cleaning .
Time will tell how much the more esoteric and variable features will be used. Again I suspect not that much, but the options are there for those who are more considered in their everyday cooking routines. Also absolutely worth considering is the extended warranty which takes it to 3 years.
Don,t know if they can guarantee its superstar looks for that length of time but if the appearance of an appliance is as a big a draw for you as performance then this is the item for you.
Pleased with my micro wave loved the rose colour and black . Wait long time for delivery but well worth it .
