I went from a 900 watt comby microwave to this. It does the job but adjusting to time and setting is taking me a while, scrambled eggs take 4 mins rather than 2.
Its smaller so fits in corner nicely.

The only thing I would change is on the knob . You can’t see the arrow very well . For putting on for your minutes or temp . So that could do with a white line or mark on the knob . I put a thin slither of white masking tape on for me to distinguish where I was Turing it to

Lovely little basic microwave. There is no light inside the microwave that turns on when you open it which I’m not used to yet but that’s my only nag.

I’m happy with this purchase which was bought to replace a Sharp 800W microwave accidentally broken after only a few months. It is hotter and food is quickly heated up. Very easy to use & clean – it’s sturdy too. Extended 2 year manufacturer warranty is a bonus! Would recommend.

The microwave plate did not fit. Approached Tower who asked me to send a video of the plate. As it had just been delivered they told me to contact Amazon even though they admitted it was the wrong plate. Fortunately I had a spare plate from an old microwave which fitted.
The microwave is working fine and looks a quality product.

I ordered this model as I only use the microwave to warm things up. Works perfectly but one complaint is there are no numbers on the dial to allow you to know how long you are putting it on for, therefore you need to watch what you are warming as you could have possibly put it on for too long.

At last a small microwave machine that feels like it’s built to last. Simple and robustly constructed with well manufactured rotary controls ( better than flimsy touch panels) with a reassuringly loud bell when the timer finishes. Also with a substantially thicker outer casing than all the other manufacturers I’ve seen. Six months old now and used every day. Bought to replace a Sharp 20L microwave with “touch panel controls” two of which had touch panel failures 14 months appart.

Bought for my elderly mother, easy to use apart from the dial is black with a tiny black notch on it to turn to settings. My mum had difficulty seeing it so had to put a spot on it with paint to help her to see where to turn for the settings, otherwise it’s fine
The design is ok. There may some Quality Control problems down the line, but ours works very well.
This Tower microwave ticks every one of my boxes.
We wanted a simple basic microwave with power (800watts) and timer knobs, with no irritating touch screens, and a door with a handle.
After searching for ages to get this combination I came across this one. However after reading all the reviews good and bad I had serious reservations.
The reality has been that it arrived in good time, in good condition, and actually looks rather expensive.
I have had it for a month or two now and it works perfectly, whether it continues to do so remains to be seen.

Easy to use and warms things efficiently, while not taking up too much space on kitchen counter. It is a little hard to see where the dials are set to but thats an easy fix with some tape or something

great basic microwave
A nice little no-frills microwave oven. Tidy, compact and easy to clean. The only problem was the control knobs which are entirely black – there is a small moulding showing the ‘pointer’ but it is not easily seen by people with elderly eyes – I have added a tiny blob of white paint on each knob to solve this issue and now my Dad can use it easily – TOWER might bear this in mind with any product improvements, not all customers are young and see clearly. Otherwise it is perfect.

It’s a decent microwave for the price. As some have mentioned, the dial can be hard to see the notch on the black model; but who needs to change the power from full, and you can feel where it is for time?
The power is good for 800w and the internal size is fine for most things.

This microwave can be used for defrosting or cooking raw or pre-prepared food.
It begins to commence cooking immediately the timer is set, it would benefit from a separate ‘start’ button to initiate cooking AFTER setting the timer.

I wanted a basic microwave for my father who is 86 years of age. Suits his needs perfectly. Simple to use, large enough for just about any meals and easy to clean.
Hard to see settings
The ‘arrow’ pointing to the chosen setting is a slight indent in the black plastic knob and so is hard to see unless in bright light.

Dials hard to read
Only reason it scored lower on easy to use is that the power and minute dials are not easy to set to the right levels as there is just a notch to show where they have been set to. This notch blends into the background of the dial and I had to paint a small spot of white paint on the notch so that I could see what time I was setting to. That said overall it’s good value for money

This is a lovely efficient powerfull manual microwave oven. Very shiny and stylish. I hate to say anything negative about it BUT the internal light inside is SO dull. I was going to return it as I didn’t think it had an internal light. I gave a test with heating up a glass of water and just managed to see a light. It is so dull but I really love the design so I kept it. I dont regret it even thought I would prefer a brighter internal light. Thank you
A simple standard style of microwave.which is fine that’s what I wanted.to replace another worn out but reliable microwave….however.. two small irritations .. The dials are black..on a black background and it has a tiny notch on the two dials so it’s almost impossible to see where the notch points to, so I have had to stick a coloured arrow on the two dials to see where to point it ..Also the glass plate doesn’t sit on the base very well and I have to keep realigning it… but overall the microwave does what I need it to and looks stylish. So for the price , reasonable enough.

My father asked me to order him a microwave similar to his previous one. Needed to be simple to use as his eyesight is not good.

Needs clear mark on dials
It’s a nice size which doesn’t take over the whole counter. Looks nice. However — the dials havent got clear marking on them so had to make arrows & stick on or else couldn’t tell what numbers I had turned it too. Quite annoying

UPDATE: randomly stopped working, sent it back to Amazon as under warranty.
Very happy with this microwave, it’s quite big. The knobs could be easier to understand but it does what it needs to do and heats food well, quite stylish.
Its compact i found it a bit disappointing because its no seconds on the timer so a lot of guess work otherwise its good and does what i need

Does what you need, a good basic microwave. The only downside is that it’s really difficult to set the timer as the indicator on the dial is black too. Therefore you have to get really low down to see where it’s pointing.
Bought this as a quick replacement for expired built in Microwave oven. After looking at many models purchased this one. Easy to use and a reasonable price. Works very well.

How bloody stupid a really bad design fault.
So..ive had to cut a marker in white paper and position it at “0” and tape it on, so I can use the timer to actually cook food properly.
Tower what on earth made you miss something so important?
Good point…extended guarantee when registering so don’t buy Amazon’s as it’s not needed.

A nice machine, simple to use, meets my expectations. Have put small arrows on rotary controls to simplify use . This was Suggested by a reviewer on web site. Our first Microwave, delighted with it.

Great value for money but.....
My only criticism for this product is that because the item is completely black it is very hard to see and make out the markings for usage – I have had to put white Tippex on the dials so my elderly mother can see them in order to use it.

Simple & stylish
Love it so simple to use looks nice on the work top. I only use the microwave for warming up and micro wave veg or rice, so this was ideal.
I’m young enough to still not need reading glasses but old enough to know how quickly things go pear shaped if the microwave isnt set to what the instructions say. The tiny moulded black arrow on the black knobs on this micro are practically invisible. I’ve had to stick an orange sticker over each one so that I can see what the microwave is set at. Other than that I find I just as fast as my old 1000w micro and far more compact. Happy with it now that I have resolved my knob issue.

I was looking for an inexpensive microwave that was not too big and easy to use this one ticked all the boxes and looks really smart as well, it arrived very quickly before the date given I’m really pleased with it if you want a basic microwave without all the bells and whistles you couldn’t do better than this.
I bought this to replace a Bosch microwave that cost 168 two years ago, which despite only receiving light use over that time began deteriorating after just 12 months use.
After getting fed up wasting money on supposed quality brand appliances I opted for this Tower T24015S and also liked the idea of going back to the old style manual non-digital microwave. I’ve been pleasantly surprised at just how good this microwave is, it cooks quickly and evenly. It’s relatively quiet for a microwave and it’s compact.
The only reasons for not giving it a five star review is that the door handle and dials are a bit cheap looking, with that chrome effect plastic. The door front shows every fingerprint and light mark, so unless you’re willing to clean it daily it can look messy very quickly. And while the interior cooking space width is good, (you can easily fit a large dinner plate inside), the actual interior height is quite low. You can just about stand up a pack of microwave rice in it. Apart from those complaints it’s a really nice little microwave.
This Tower T24015 Microwave, 800 W, Black is easy to use and works well. We wanted a simple to use microwave with no fancy programmes or settings and this is ideal. Two settings, one for the heat (or defrost) and the other for timing. All microwaves are variable with heating times but this one seems to be pretty close to other 800W microwavesni have used. Good value and well packaged from Amazon.
So far so good, quick delivery ordered late Tues evening received today (Thursday) 11am, nice neat microwave with a lovely looking front. Had an expensive Russell Hobbs before and the power seems better on this tower, like the fact it’s very simple to use set the temperature u want and the minutes u want and there u go, no display screen! didn’t think I would like that but I prefer. I would buy this item and recommend agai
I found this microwave o k but had to adjust my timing as needed an extra minute but now used to it it’s very easy to use but find reading the temperatures hard I had to go and get my glasses each time
Excellent . I have to say the only thing is when it heat food etc it does heat the plate etc but that probably me getting use to the heat settings
