Lovely bbq
Ordered this as we had been using one gifted to us last year and wanted to treat ourselves to a nice one. It arrived quickly. Left the husband too assemble it and it did take him longer than expected as some of the holes didn’t quite line up. However once assembled it is very sturdy. Quality is nice and it is a lot bigger than we expected. We had hoped to test it our during the nice weather last week, sadly we couldn’t find any charcoal.

This is a good size BBQ, that looks good and has super handy and practical side tables. Amazon didn’t have the official Tower waterproof cover but I managed to source one else where (the cover is not cheap RRP 55, but found it on offer for 39) but looks good and fits well). The keep warm raised rack doesn’t work. When you lift the BBQ lid up and down, the rack jams and digs into the BBQ side, jams and damages the metal. It was a key buying factor for me but I’ve given in and removed unfortunately. The metal frame of the BBQ also had some blisters, so despite another key buying factor being a five year warranty ( 1 year as standard, then 5 years if you register it online with Tower within 4 weeks of purchase) I doubt much would be covered if you raised a warranty claim anyway. Despite these issues, I still love the BBQ. It looks great, is a pretty big good size, is a great height and has super helpful side tables, plus is pretty light. Don’t expect a brand buy-in loyalty factor with this like a Webber (like the 5 year potential warranty suggests) but it’s still a well thought out design BBQ but no more build quality than one half the price. I still love it though but it’s not a quality built keeper.

Still putting the product together but whilst unpacking we found the base shelf was bent in one corner. It’s quite sturdy so a fair amount of effort would be needed to bend this. We have corrected this now but maybe more care needed in the future.
