Not as good as I expected
Shelving is too close together,, and only cooks best on the top shelf
Amazing!
So I don’t do alot of reviews. But felt this needed one. It’s fantastic! Love the shelves, have not used my oven since it has arrived. Great for a single person and way cheaper to run than my oven. Also this is great for chickens! Tried and tested and very happy. In my opinion, every kitchen should have one!
Kitchen boo
After several months of owning – really pleased.
Gets used most days and we hardly use the normal oven now.
Use it for just about everything.
Rotisserie chicken came out very well.
Shelves easy to clean. Door pops off to clean also, which is handy .
Bare in mind it is quite large so make sure You’ve got a space for it.
Not enough UK cookbooks
Its really easy to use. But I would have liked all the bits with it.
Have been using a rotisserie air fyer regularly for 5 years … especially the rotisserie for roasting meat, chicken, & kebabs. My previous model was still working fine, but it’s interior wasn’t the easiest to clean & was interested in the extra accessories & functionality of the Tower 10 in 1 machine. The model is often out of stock & price can vary by 30, so when it came into stock at 119 – bought it. So far very pleased.
The instruction & recipe booklets are not as good as supplied with my previous model, so if your new to using a multi functional air fryer, suggest getting another recipe/ usage books or research online. … therecare many useful online resources & user groups.
Bottom line, this iscam excellent product that you can use to cook anything you might cook in a full size oven – so think of it as a small fan oven. Rotisserie cooked meat, poultry & veg is superb (c1.4kg max weight chicken & meat joint); & cooks much quicker.1.2kg rolled sirloin cooks in 35-40 mins. Dehydration takes too long!!! Energy use is a fraction of oven.
Preset very useful & easy to increase times / temp if needed.
Good purchase
Very pleased, not used main oven for quite a while, hopefully saving money. Took a few uses to work out best shelf positioning for different items but getting there.
Makes cooking easier , quicker and cheaper.
The start stop button is temperamental, have to press it several times to get it to work bit frustrating.
So easy to use
Brilliant British design shame it’s made in china but cheep to run full breakfast cooked no problems very easy to clean stainless steel interior can’t find fault with it ye
I rarely leave reviews but I am experiencing so much daily joy with my new air fryer I had to say something about it. What I love most is the window that lets you see what’s going on inside plus the three metal shelves which allow quite a large amount of food to be cooked. I noticed not all air fryers have these two features. Not only that but the food comes out perfectly cooked in record time with no soggy bottoms as per my old regular oven. Bacon and sausages are a dream to cook now where before this was very slow and difficult. Large pizza’s can simply be cut in half. Plus I love that it’s at work top level so much easier to use. And so much easier to keep clean. Cannot praise this model enough – and so cheap too. I spent hours deliberating over the bewildering range of different fryers. Save yourself time researching and go for this one – it’s a dream!
I’ve used this for a month now. It is very versatile and basically it’s a mini oven. I’ve cooked chips, cakes, chicken breasts, baked potatoes and a whole host of other foodstuffs. Like all air fryers, getting the perfect temperature and timing is a little experimental, but as a rule of thumb I knock 10 degrees off the temperature and 10 minutes off the time (and keep a record of what I’ve done).
As it’s quick to heat up, uses less time along with a lower temperature, cost saving is large. My plug in cost meter on the new 34p per KWH shows this.
Cleaning is a breeze. I’ve had to do nothing more than remove the shelves and tray, and then wipe with a cloth soaked in warm soapy water.
It’s never going to replace a main oven, as for example a normal cake tin doesn’t fit in; but using a loaf tin, the resulting ‘cake’ is just a different shape, but tastes the same.
Wonderful product and a great price.
Great air fryer for the price
Very easy to use the trays are great for doing pizzas etc easy to clean loads of pre programme settings good for cooking most foods quickly and efficiently.
Does everything it says it does, more than happy with the purchase
Bakes well, cooks well and the rotisserie chicken is delicious. Love the fact I can set the timer and go out knowing it will turn off and cook well.
I wasn’t sure which air fryer to buy ,in the end i bought, Tower Digital vortex 5 in1 Air Fryer oven, controls are so easy to use , i have not used my larger oven since, it does alot for such a small Air frier Oven ,i cooked frozen chips and fishfingers 1st which came out crisp and moist it cooks rotisserie small chicken 1.4kgs [ bar comes with oven] so yummy, also cook’s pizza, quiche, heats up beans/ peas, sauces, in ramekin dishes ,sausages , chicken, salmon, steak all with sauces or dressings and if i make cauli/broccoli cheese put it in owven proof dish and brown off in my Air frier oven , size oven is ideal for 1-4 people. So easy to clean too.Wish i had bought one sooner, i would recommend.
Great size
Have hardly had our oven on since purchasing this great for loads of stuff have to adjust cooking temps and times away from what packet foods suggest. It is quite large and you can do full meals in it but have struggled with making sure everything is evenly cooked seems to struggle with chip’s. When using all three trays the heat does not penetrate down so you have to do lots of moving trays round.
Good little machine
Excellent when I can get it to come on, on the machine. Love the way it cooks, but it usually is only one shelf at a time
Best Investment!
My husband usually does the cooking but since having this I’ve taken over the meat cooking & it’s fabulous! Never had chicken so moist. If I can use it anyone can!
Love i
I spent ages looking for an air fryer and saw the review in the Daily Mail and there was 20 off so I thought I’d give it a go. It’s supposed to be for a Big family but there’s just the 3 of us and it’s ok most of the time. I like the way it cooks chips and coated chicken. You have to keep moving the racks around as the heat element is on the top. It’s a case of getting used to it. I’m glad I bought one and I’m sure I’m saving on electricity.
So far impressed with it.
Still getting use to it, have cooked a cake and medium size chicken impressed so far and other foods.
Love i
Fabsaved me time and usage of my big gas cooke
Wish I hadn't waited so long to buy!
Been thinking of buying an air fryer for a while and decided to bite the bullet. Well, I haven’t used my oven since. We’re a family of 3 and I’ve been able to cook most of our meals in it. Bought additional accessories of the rotisserie kebab and chargrill plate (still awaiting delivery). Love using it. So easy to clean. A god send. Don’t know about reduction of energy bills as yet but got my fingers crossed.
Air frye
Brilliant air fryer the digital buttons sometimes need pressing a few times before they work
She
Brilliant machine saves on energy less time to cook. Very easy to clean wouldn’t be without it now. Definitely recommend this.
Bought the air fryer oven due to the rising cost of electricity and I can’t be happier. It reduces the cooking times but also the warm up time. The food I’ve cooked in the air fryer oven is the same as my conventional oven with the same results but quicker. With food being so expensive and not wanting to ruin it and a lack of
information on cooking times I’ve used these settings as a guide. Temperature is reduced by 5c and the time by 20% ie 180c is 175c for 30 minutes is 24 minutes plus a couple of minutes warm up time. It’s worked for me and as I’m writing this it hasn’t poisoned me!! It’s easy to use and would recommend.
Fantastic produc
Extremely handy especially cooking for two, simple to use , compact and easy to clean .
Great jacket potatoes and chips and roasties. I have done a few meat steaks very good and succulent. I haven’t tried the rotisserie yet nor have I tried to bake a cake but I will at some point. Very pleased so far.
Tower express
I’m very happy so far, roast potatoes are lovely and crisp. But I have to buy the rotisserie to cook chips.
asty food
asty food nice and succulent chicken, pork and beef it appears to be idiot proof so far.
Nice machine still trying to adapt to i
Only downside is trying to find a chicken small enough for rotisserie so far have not managed it as max weight is 1.3kg. Started to try cooking on shelf and gave up. Apart from that couple of things came out ok
Love it!!!
Easy to use, easy to clean. Feeds a family of 4. Absolutely love it. Bought it to save money not using the oven. Haven’t used my oven since the day this beauty arrived. Highly recommend
This is my best purchase by far, for a long time! I can make chips or potato wedges in no time and the roast chicken made using the rotisserie was so succulent and flavoursome I think we’ll be eating a lot of chicken from now on! Still experimenting with cooking ready meals in it so I have asked Tower if there is any magic formula to work out temperature and timing! Still waiting for their reply. The oven is really easy to clean and so economical to run. My standard electric fan oven is so old it takes nearly 30 minutes to warm up to temperature! That’s 30 minutes of wasted electricity, which at current prices is unaffordable. Chips and wedges cook in 15 to 20 minutes and a 1.2kg chicken in 40 minutes. I’m still learning to use it, but anything you can cook in a “normal” oven you can cook in an air fryer. Love this fryer and so glad I purchased. Definitely recommend.
Saves energy
Ok I’m no chef,so haven’t tried anything fancy, but it seems ok for straight from freezer stuff for tea time. A UK based cook book or even instructions would be good. At the reduced price it was ok but shop around for deals with extra accessories.
With the cost of energy going stratospheric this year, I learned that using a conventional oven was a costly exercise in having our tea every week. I noticed a chart someone shared on social media and – long story short – using an Air Fryer was miles cheaper to use than a conventional oven.
Did my homework and settled on this model. It’s oven-style in shape (unlike the basket style ones) and is simple to use. Whack in your food, set the timer and temperature and away you go!
So far I’ve only had it a week, but I’ve done scampi & chips (nice and crispy, yum!), chicken & pasta bake (tend to stir it mid-cook, otherwise it can get crispy on top, but otherwise hot and delicious.) Also heated a couple of steak pies (nice and crispy and done quick!)
Pizza, have to cut in to quarters. With 2 quarters on a shelf each. In addition to this, make sure to rotate the shelves containing the pizza slices over. I didn’t do this and the slices at the top were ‘well fired’ whereas the lower shelf they were perfect
This is so much more economical compared to a conventional oven. I no longer have to wait 10 minutes each time for it to warm up before use. Just whack in your food and off you go. It also takes a little less time to cook food compared to more traditional methods too.
The accessories are handy. The shelves I’ll probably use the most, and the tray in the bottom to catch any drips and crumbs. I don’t think I’ve ever use the spit for the rotisserie….it’s not my thing really lol.
It’s still early days with it, but my initial results are looking promising for this air fryer. Looks great, easy to use, cheap to run energy-wise and will pay for itself in no time.
Just be sure to leave a reasonable amount of room surrounding the air fryer to let the air vent and circulate! Never place it up against the counter wall or other objects.
Normally a 1kg joint of roast beef takes 45 mins in my conventional fan oven that is after it takes 20 mins to reach 180 degrees C for medium rare. As I have a smart electric meter with a display screen, it shows that my consumption is 63 pence per hour when in use and is constant throughout the cooking time.
I used this today and observed the results. 180 degrees C was attained within 30 seconds. End result, using an internal meat thermometer, same results were achieved in 25 minutes. Out of that time, my smart meter display showed it was only drawing power for 12 minutes….. buy i
As you can see I have been using my airfryer for just about everything. It is amazing and I use it more than my oven now.
Great little machine.
This machine has changed my life. So quick and easy to use, only wish I’d bought one years ago.
Best airfrier eve
This appliance is amazing …not had to switch the cooker on since
My 2nd one
Had my first one for ten months but the control knob broke missed it so much I bought another one not used my oven since April
Cracking little air frye
Perfect for what we needed as a family.
Made use of the rotisserie hook a few times for cooking multiple meats and they came out perfectly!
Had a normal type of air fryer but tried this one and works and cleaned easily. Just cooked a small chicken on the rotisserie and worked well. Would recommend
Very lovely piece of equipment.
Easy to use and clean. Time and energy saving, cooks in much less time than a normal oven. Chips come out so good. Really good buy
Amazing value.
This is my first time using an air fryer. Took a little getting used to but it’s amazing. A little more thought could have gone into the instruction book.
It is very good. Only had it a month or so but used it a lot. Really like the rotisserie function. Glad it bought it. Having 3 separate shelves is good too. For clarity, it cannot hold 3 shelves and be a rotisserie at the same time.
Marked it down to 4 stars as it is way bigger than stated in the Amazon description. I did point that out to Amazon, but they still didn’t change the sizes.
Amazing! This is a must have. It’s very convenient and is a great addition to your kitchen especially if you’re cooking a big meal and you’ve run out of room in your oven. Also if you’re cooking something small there’s no need to turn on a big oven, so saving you money on your energy bill.
I was a bit doubtful about using this air fryer at first, in fact asked for some tips from other users. However have used it now for 3 weeks and find it fantastic. I’ve tried all sorts of things in it, including a small lamb joint, which cooked perfectly. Really pleased with the air fryer.
Amazing!!
Saves loads of time, energy, money ! A must for the kitchen especially in these hard times with energy prices rocketing. I’ve not used my usual oven since I got this! So pleased with it, and super easy to clean as the door comes off!
CANNOT DO WITHOUT IT 😊
Full range of oven temps, easy to keep clean and three shelves to cook on Uses regular oven cookware Saves time in the kitchenSo easy to keep cleanCannot recommend it highly enough My kitchen/ cooking hating other half finds it easy to use IF HE CAN USE IT ANYONE CAN
Great produc
Best thing we’ve bought all year. Great rotisserie chicken in just an hour!
After looking and deciding for ages which air fryer to get I settled on this one. I’m so pleased I did; things cook in less time, washing up is so easy- (just pop the racks in hot water and soon as you’ve finished cooking, by the time you’ve eaten anything stuck comes off easily) and it doesn’t make the kitchen hot in the process. I haven’t used my main oven since I’ve got it!!
Great little oven fo
What an amazing oven. Can’t find a fault with i
Cooks great especially whole chickens
Easy to use and so much better than a pan air frye
My Air frier is great, love it.
The Tower Air Frier is great cooks quickly no heating, easy to access and clean. I just love it.
Good produc
This is really nice product, it’s really good for maintain healthy lifestyle, you can cook whole chicken in it.its quite big and it is digital.
Brillia
You can cook most foods in this air fryer would recommend to anyone who wants to save money on electricity bill
Best thing EVER
Hands down the best thing I’ve EVER purchased! Cooks in less time than the oven, and uses less electric aswel!! And in this day you want to save as much as you can. Best Buy
Great produc
his is the best bit of kit we have bought in years for the kitchen, wife loves it very versatile used everyday and saves money as well, thank you tower it’s a winner in our book
Game Change
I use daily, it is easy to clean, economical and dose the best steak ever. The rotisserie cooks a whole small chicken in just 25 minutes and it is delicious. Haven’t yet found anything to complain about.
Very convenient with a small worktop footpri
I use this air fryer every single day multiple times and it cooks my food easily and saves me money on running costs, it takes up little space on my kitchen worktop. It has several preset programs for time and heating temperature settings that can be adjusted so very easily, it comes with a removable drip tray and three removable grill-type shelves, these grill shelves are not that strong and one has already split, but overall an excellent device that for me has replaced the main cooker.
Simple, crispy food
I’ve had this a month now and I’ve used it loads. Love the rotisserie function, wedged a huge chicken in and it came out moist and delicious with a beautiful crispy skin.
I’ve found myself searching for the internet for my next cooking conquest.
Super easy to use, I find myself just selecting chips and adjusting the time as needed.
I also ordered a rotating chip basket which is ok.
The trays are a little fiddly to clean but I would highly recommend this cooker.
Love it.
Really good air fryer, cooks evenly and quickly. The only issue is the door gets food inside but you can take it apart and clean it.
Makes great churros.
Great energy saving and time saving appliance
It takes a little while to get used to it and you will need to experiment a bit to get the cooking times exactly right but I am using my oven less and less and using this more and more.
So far I’ve cooked chips, roast potatoes, sautee potatoes, croquette potatoes, spring rolls. Meats; steak, chicken, pork chops, lamb steaks, breaded chicken. Heated pasties and quiche. All perfectly cooked and the crispiest potatoes.
Favourite so far; I cooked a cottage pie; then15 mins in the air fryer and it had a lovely crispy golden top that would have taken 45 mins in the oven!
Barely using the normal oven, now!
Love this air fryer. It’s much more versatile than our old chip pan style one, as you can cook different items on different trays at the same time and it’s very easy to use. I cook most things in it now, and have probably only used the normal oven a handful of times since we bought this. We cook loads of veg in it (crispy broccoli is a firm favourite) and it comes out like roast veg but with only the lightest spray of vegetable oil, so much healthier.
It fits nicely in our very small galley kitchen, looks smart and is easy to clean – I’ve had no issues with the door removal.
The big revelation was being able to bake a cake in it!
I definitely have found it worth the money and would recommend it. The size of it means the interior heats up much more quickly that a conventional oven, so it’s quicker and uses less energy, which is super useful at the moment.
I’d give it 6 stars if I could!
Very good air frye
OK, so I couldn’t make up my mind about which air fryer suited my needs. I eventually decided on this one. A few things swayed me, like the 3 shelves, rotisserie, dehydrater, enough room to cook small pizza and chicken. Other air fryers have drawers for cooking food in but I think my preference is the three shelves. It cooks chips perfectly, chicken, roast potatoes, pies, crumble etc. I haven’t been that adventurous yet or used all the functions but that will be something to explore at a later date. Pretty easy to use and simple to clean which is important to me. I hadn’t realised how many extras came with it which is great but I now have to find storage for. Overall the price was reasonable, functionality is really good, average size, choice of temperature, saves money as cheaper to run than a conventional oven. I am impressed with it and always thinking of ways I can use it more often as I haven’t got to the stage of it being my go to appliance. So summing up anything that keeps the utility bills down and being able to cook food faster is a bonus. I believe that it will come into its own when I have large quantities of food to cook at Christmas and hopefully by then I will be an expert at using it. I forgot to say there is a small recipe book included which covers each function and there is the option to register your device online for an extra three year warranty.
Fab little machine
Never had or used one of these before . Took my time in deciding which type air frying would suit me being disabled and wanting it for multi use such as Dehydrator baking cakes cooking etc.
Took the chance on this one after looking at reviews and chatting with others who had it.
Had mine over a week now and it’s fab .
Easy to use . Easy to clean . Use your own common sense with timings etc don’t always rely sold on pre program times …its very easy and cooks great…and Dehydrator works fine too …just done some banana chips for myself .
I only cook for myself or 2 of us max so if perfect for me and loads of room .
If you are new to air fryers this one is very easy to use .
Hope this helps
Fantastic - and it also saves you money
I love this oven and it gets used almost every day in our house, so much so that i’ve not used my normal oven since Christmas!. Then recently I got a message from my power supplier that my Direct debit was going down by 60 per month! I can’t put it down to anything else but this cooker.
Also it does great chips just on the rack, I just turn them in some olive oil before I start and they cook beautifully- better than using the cage to do them. Also the rotisserie chicken is brilliant!
Great air frye
Love the shelving in this air fryer, I can now cook different things together. Not as big and bulky as I expected which is a bonus. Only downside is that the light has never worked and the only thing that was suggested would be to send it back and to re-order which would have been a pain, so using it without a working light. Easy to clean, more than the drum type air fryers. Love it!
I absolutely love i
A wasn’t really taken by the idea of an air fryer.
Anyway after lots of my friends advising me to get one I decided on the tower 10 in one.
I absolutely love it it is so versatile, quick to use, easy to use, and I believe healthier. Everything tastes lovely and crispy just a really nice way to cook products. The inside trays and shelves come out really easily and even the door comes off very easily to clean.
I honestly can’t recommend this product enough.
Brilliant small cooker, BEST Rotisserie!
I bought this to cut down on using the main oven with utility bills rising. There are two adults and a teenager here so I wanted to be able to cook a range of things at once and was concerned a basket air fryer would limit me so thought shelves would be better.
There is ample room in this air fryer.
It heats up to 200 degrees and timer is 60 minutes . No ‘pre-heat’ time and it cooks quicker as smaller than a conventional/fan oven.
However, the rotisserie is something else, an added bonus for me and I use this nearly twice a week now.
It will take a small chicken (I normally take off the wings and legs and cook them in the bottom as the rotisserie is going round). The chicken is always tender and succulent..and crispy skin – never would get that taste in a normal oven! My friend has also bought one having sampled the chicken !
There are lots of air fryer recipes online and fb pages, but I use this as a mini oven really. Can even bake and dehydrate in it.
Well worth it!
saves money and time!
Love this air frier!
the shelves mean you can cook a whole meal without worrying that some isn’t going to be cooked.
for the single person its great as you don’t need to use the oven therefore saving money and it cooks almost straight away so again saves time as no need to preheat first.
just pop food in and off you go.
only negative – reason for the 1 star less is that the fitting for the rotisserie does prevent you from using that space as a shelf.
Have used practically every day since arrived, made a roast, lasagne, pizza and apple pie. Perfect for chips. Not the biggest inside and do have to remember to move shelves about to get even cooking, fits a 20cm square tin perfectly .Delivered on time and in perfect condition.
Wow! Chicken has never been this good
Why did I hold off buying so long?
Wow. Even if I just cooked chickens in here for the next 6 months I won’t regret the purchase.
I honestly think I won’t even use the barbecue this summer – the chicken comes out immense.
Okay I did try one other thing (have only had it a week). I tried chips – good old fashioned chips and yes they tasted just like they did out of a chip pan when I was a kid.
100% recommend.
I want a chip basket now .
Good Airfrye
This is our second one as a fault developed to our first. The count down clock decided to work only when it felt like it which resulted in burnt food. We went for the manual control model for ease of use. Amazon were really good replacing with a new one the next day and collecting the broken one.
There are two of use and we find the size perfect for us. Great for oven chips. Can use all three trays if needed but you may have to change round the position to get even cooking. Extremely easy to clean. Have to say that it is better than we thought, however not had it long to comment on longevity of product.
Over all we are very pleased.
Efficient, cost-effective and great for fries!
I searched the listings on Amazon for some time before settling on this model. I wanted a decent size so I could cook more than one thing at once with decent portions for two, and this unit fits the bill. It is great for oven fries, sausages and many other things. The door comes off for cleaning, which is great. It is much more efficient than running up a full oven and it is no doubt saving us electricity. It lost one star because I find the touch sensitive power button doesn’t always register my finger-press, but it only takes one or two extra attempts – the other buttons are fine.
Game changer!
Ok, sceptical at first but now it’s used almost daily. I like the almost instant heat and speed. Saves time (and no doubt money/electric) rather than putting the main oven on and waiting for it to get up to the right temperature. It’s transformed what I eat for my lunch, but possibly not in a healthy way! Iceland Greggs sausage roll just sayin!
Want some nice hand cut chips or fries in the evening without the need for a deep fat fryer? Get one of these bad boys! Parboil first (or dont, it’s not necessary) and toss in a bowl with a little olive oil and salt then bung them in Tower for about 20-25 minutes.
General cooking time lower than food instructions so keep an eye on it – you’ll get used to it very quickly.
Economical.
This product saves so much money on cooking as it heats up straight away so no waiting around preheating a large oven. Only heats food & not your kitchen.
Food cooks quicker & food that should be cooked at 220C can only be cooked at 200C as this is the max temperature; however food is cooked through in less time even at this lower temperature so watch your food carefully at first to get used to this. Always put it in for 5 minutes less than recommended & check.
The capacity is large & can cook a roast chicken easily plus the potatoes & Yorkshire puddings.
Chips & roast potatoes come out crispy & evenly cooked as does part baked bread.
The oven heats evenly so it doesn’t matter if you’re using the top, middle or bottom the food cooks the same wherever positioned in the oven.
This air fryer has made my large oven redundant as it’s just the 2 of us at home. I would consider this oven for a tight or limited space or in a larger kitchen as an “overflow” oven as it doesn’t take up much space.
The only down side I can find is the on/start button can be quite hard to get to work, I have to press it quite hard & is an issue with my friends oven too so seems there is a design issue/knack to it.
I’m smitte
Air fryers weren’t on my radar before I read an article in The Telegraph recently. It peaked my interest so I read more about them. Then I ordered thisTower air fryer and haven’t looked back. I’ve never had a good relationship with the grill built into my oven so this air fryer sorts out that problem, sausages are cooked beautifully. Jacket potatoes are to die for and take less time to cook than in a conventional oven, the skins are so crispy! This ticks so many of my boxes I’ve now ordered a similar product for my sister as a house warming gift.
I would recommend this Tower air fryer to all, it’s also very easy to keep clean.
Amazing love this most used thing in my kitche
Love this so much
Brilliant I’ve cooked alsorts in it
Quick and simple to use
We don’t bother with the cooking settings we just alter the time and temp
Open the door, put in settings and press go
Simple
And the fat runs to the bottom of the oven so better for you
The chicken rotisserie is OK however is very limited due to its size you can do a small to medium chicken only (think family of 3-4 size) but it is lovely and quicker than cooking in a normal way
Stick all the parts in a dishwasher easy peasy or manually wash ….my only observation which people might get funny with is the drip tray doesn’t stay very black long the coating comes off very easily but it’s a drip tray I genuinely don’t care! It really does not affect the use
WOW, the best air fryer I have ever used
This air fryer is excellent.
I have had quite a few Air Fryers, in the last few years. But this one beats them all.
I am so amazed with the outcome of the food, that I have been cooking, even chips taste and look better from this Air Fryer, than others I have had before.
This Air Fryer is good for money, good for taste, good for quickness, good on how quickly it can be cleaned.
I would recommend this item.
size matters !
ideal for max two people.if more in your home try a bigger one. all cooking times are shortened, its a case of try half the time in instructions and adjust to suit. the top shelf will cook quicker than middle or bottom so rotate to get all cooked on time.will save you money. i have cooked oven chips, fish fingers, potatoes( frozen jackets ,slices and rissotto) and all came out great. 1/4 chicken was really good 20-25 mins. i sprayed it with oil and rubbed in spices. first time in ages i ate the skin.had to cut pizza but again great. given the price of power these days this will soon pay for itself.only 4 stars for the instructions and logos on the cooking panel. could better explain the controls.
Fantastic . Saves electricity and quick
There is no heating up of the oven and the cooking time is quicker . Its surprising how much you can get in the oven . A lot of the time I cook on the metal shelves and wash them up afterwards along with the drip tray at the bottom. Everything cooks well . Crispy if you want that with little or no oil . I’ve bought some silicone dishes that have low sides so I can still cook on the 3 shelves. Really love this air fryer . There are settings I haven’t tried yet .
So glad we bought an airfryer oven with shelves . More versatile.
Tower Xpress Pro T17039 Vortx
I have owned this for a while now and what a brilliant thing it is! Easy to use producing perfect results. Two neighbours came for a meal yesterday where it cropped up in conversation. I stated how easy it is to use. I demonstrated making some chips. Easy! Quite amusing really. They both commented saying, they would not be the same done in a conventional oven. True. One neighbour is buying one. The second is considering it saying, “it is worth buying just to make chips.” There is something about this little unit. No idea what it is but the results are marvellous. Everything I have cooked has been perfect. I have used all shelves making a complete meal and it works. My oven has become redundant. Nuff said.
Great for everything
I really like how easy it is too use. Has good auto cook settings. I use it for a wide range of food so have too set the time and temp the way I want it sometimes. Which is no problem.
I have used the rotisserie setting and the chicken turned out great. I struggled too believe it would cook right seeing as it cooked so quick. But was perfect and easy too use.
So far I have no negative for the air fryer and look forward too trying many different types of food.
Easy to use, lots of options and easy to clean.
If you’re new to air fryers you’ll need some trial and error because it’s a very different way of cooking but this air fryer is fantastic.
Easy to use, cooks perfectly and easy to clean.
Here’s a recipe.
2-3 Chicken breasts
Spray with oil and use whatever dry seasoning you like.
Put in the air fryer and cook at 200 for 10 minutes, turn over and cook for 10 minutes.
Wrap in foil for 5 minutes.
You’ve now got gorgeous perfectly cooked, juicy and tender chicken breasts in 20 minutes without preheating.
Times differ depending on air fryer and meat thickness. Always make sure your food is cooked fully.
Very good so fa
I bought this model as it has three shelves for air frying and can also be used as a rotisserie. It is easy to clean as the glass door on the front easily detaches. It is simple to use, you just set the temperature and time and off you go. For the rotisserie function, you set the temperature and time and then press a button to activate the rotor. Results so far have been very good, very crispy, moist chicken and super easy roast potatoes etc.
Just be aware that the manufacturer states the maximum weight for the rotisserie is 600g so it is not suitable for cooking a whole chicken apart from poussin which tend to weigh about 500g. You could fit a bigger chicken in the space but you risk damaging the motor. For the rotisserie, you are better off buying de-boned whole chickens and other prepared joints of meat, that way you can easily cook enough meat for two using the rotisserie…about 50% of a whole chicken is the carcass so using de-boned doubles the amount of meat you can cook. De-boned, seasoned, and trussed joints of meat are readily available and these are the best option. If you want a whole chicken, this unit will air fry a 1kg chicken.
Slight niggles, the temperature and time scales are basic and lack temperature scales, for example the temperature scale shows 160oC and 200oC…but no printed temperatures between the two so a little guesswork is required. The instructions for using the rotisserie are very overly complicated and show no diagram of what they are discussing; however, the rotisserie is actually very easy to use.
A very good unit for 80
Try the lava cakes!
OK, so we did a lot of research before buying this air fryer. Air fryers are just convection ovens. There is no magic frying technique without oil. So if you’re looking for a magical appliance that will stop the need for oil or turn your food from meh to amazing with no effort then save yourself the time and money and walk away. But that doesn’t mean air fryers are useless. They are great for even cooking, and also, if you tend to cook large meals and need more oven space, or conversely, you cook small meals and just want something you can shove some food in with all the ease of a microwave but the effect of a very nice oven. We bought this one specifically for the rotisserie and being honest we haven’t actually tried it out yet! But we have high hopes. The recipes in the manual are really good though. The lava cake recipe is amazing and we now have lava cake for dessert pretty much all the time! Though I would recommend adding a pinch of salt to the batter to bring out the flavour of the chocolate. It doesn’t save that much time on cooking *another point brought up in all air fryer marketing*, maybe a minute or two with chips? But this isn’t an issue with this model, but rather marketing of all air fryers.
Key points about this air fryer:
Easy to use
Pre set settings for certain foods are very helpful
Good amount of space
Rotisserie (and frying baskets are available on the Tower website which will do wonders for your chips as they spin as they cook for super even crispiness)
Easy enough to clean, dishwasher safe parts
Great recipes included
Love i
Love it, is easy access on the worktop.
Three shelves enable me to cook various things at once. Chips on top, ready made pies in the middle/vegetarian items and fish/sausage/bacon at the bottom. As I don’t want fat dripping on to vegetarian items.
Am still learning but happy at the moment
Today home made pizzas. Baked the base on parchment for 6 mins first, flipped them over and put on the topping. Back into the oven straight onto the rack. Lovely.
I’ve made a quiche in a glass dish. Blind baked it first. Was good, not soggy bottom, but may need a little longer I think.to make the base a little crispier.
I move things around when necessary, as one would with a non fan oven to give even cooking.
Only downside is a few bits have dropped between the two pieces of glass in the door and won’t come out. Hence 4 stars for cleaning
I love this air fryer. I previously had a round dish type air fryer and I didn’t use it nearly half as much as I use this. It’s perfect and I practically use it for everything rather than using my main oven. Not only does it reduce the cooking time but food somehow tastes better and it’s so much healthier. The rotisserie tool cooks chicken to perfection. Chips are amazing! Crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy in the middle. Also makes incredible roast potatoes. I roast vegetables char grill peppers. Breaded chicken, fish fingers and things like that cook perfectly too. I use the bottom tray/dish to cook a lovely herby tomato, onion and mushroom dish to accompany pasta and rice. When cooking for the whole family you’ll probably need to rotate the shelves because like an oven the food at the top cooks quicker.
Also perfect for reheating food and warming things like mince pies (a full tray took 5 minutes!) Toasts teacakes, crispy rolls and so on.
I have bought some silicone mats to try and protect the wire racks and makes cleaning the shelves so much easier. I love it that much I bought one for my mum. After seeing it in action my sister has bought one and now her sister in-law has bought one too. I highly recommend this air fryer. Honestly it’s the best thing I have bought and real value for money.

A great addition to the kitche
We’ve had ours for a couple of months now and I feel confident writing this review. I would say these ovens have their uses, rather than being ok for everything, in the same way as a microwave oven is.
I’ve cooked whole chickens, pork and beef joints on the rotisserie. They all came out great. Chickens are moist, like the ones you buy from a chicken spit shop. Beef was moist with a great colour. Bacon cooks in 13 mins and is crispy, sausages cook in 19 mins. My normal oven would have just got up to temperature then. All the fat and water drips down to the removable tray at the bottom.
It’s also absolutely great for things you want crispy (oven chips, hash browns, etc). The idea of filling all 3 shelves doesn’t really work unless you rotate them, the air gets blocked by each tray of food, and the spot that makes the obvious place for a single shelf (middle of the oven) is blocked by the rotisserie drive. That said we mainly use us one or two shelves and swap them round.
This oven saves loads of time and electricity! Cleaning the shelves is easy, cleaning the oven properly takes a little more effort but not much, the door comes off for ease.
Overall, like I said, this oven has it’s particular uses, and it’s very good and cost effective at them. I’d definitely recommend one.
Great air Fryer.
I wa in two minds whether to get an air Fryer with just the basket, but I am pleased that I purshased this Tower unit with a rotisserie.
I has three mesh racks for other foods, the top two have to be removed for the rotisserie to be used
I cooked a Chicken of 1.2 kg on the spit without a problem and the juice/fat fell into the bottom tray. I did purchase some butchers string to tie the legs up. Roast potatoes from raw app 20 mins depending on the colour you want them, you can overide the set times and temperature if you wish… I like this machine and when cooking I just spray food that needs a little oil coating. Pork and beef are excellent in this machine… Super easy to clean.. Just wipe over with warm soapy water whilst still warm..
Really Impressed, Great Air Frye
I love this air fryer! I done extensive research into many brands and went with this one as it has a glass door so you can keep an eye on the food while it cooks. Many reviews of other air fryers say food can be burnt in a matter of extra minutes so being able to see the food is a great bonus. It also has the rotisserie options which I found cool and this is what swayed my choice into buying this one. Only reason I’ve rated it 4 out of 5 is because it should be a little bit bigger. It shows you can spit roast a whole chicken on the rotisserie but it isn’t that simple. The airfryer is to small to fit even a medium sized chicken in. The legs and wings get stuck at the top and bottom of the fryer making it unable to spin so you can’t actually cook a whole chicken but everything else I’ve cooked in it has come out great. Worth the money
Thrilled with this
So for some time I’ve been thinking of buying an air fryer and had this one lined up for Black Friday.
Turns out my folks had also decided on an air fryer, so bought this, I told them if they didn’t get on with it, I’d give them the money for it and take it of their hands – long story short, it expired after 20 mins with a grinding noise and stopped fan – no bother, it was duly packed up and returned for a refund.
Working on the basis it was either crap, it they’d just been unlucky, plenty of good reviews ,but also more than a few poor ones (including stuck fans). I ordered one whilst still discounted on black Friday.
I am thrilled with it, whilst ai haven’t made anything from scratch yet, it’s been used loads instead of my oven, it’ll happily cook oven ready foods, often in half the time.
So far, it’s cooked a lasagna, fishcakes, various breaded chicken things, chips, waffles etc and all to perfection the oven chips were crisp and fluffy, unlike the anemic, dry things that come out my oven.
Not had a chance to use many of the functions, but keen to try the dehydration function.
It’s nice and easy to clean, perfect for a singleton or small family, I think I’d find a regular one too small.
As long as it keeps performing, it’ll continue to get regular use at home.
A little bit of practice
I had used an air fryer before but when I had to get a new one due to circumstances I went for this one, bigger, wider, and digital, had to be the deal of the year when it dropped to 60 odd quid, anyways it turned up and after the initial what does that do, where does that go etc. I got it up and running…there’s a selection of pre programmed cooking times that correspond with a picture of what you’re cooking ( you have use a bit of poetic licence with this, I was cooking bacon so I used the picture of a steak)….cooking somethig requires you to keep an eye on it as the times ie: steak is a set 20 minutes so you don’t want that long for bacon, you can set the times yourself by just pressing the left up and down arrows, the right arrows are for temperature if you want to change it, it cooks steaks to perfection along with chicken, bacon etc, I cooked a loin of pork using the rotisserie function and apart from catching and burning on one tiny bit that was too close to the element it came out absolutely gorgeous, ive only used my main oven once since getting this, that was only for a pizza….
If you’re thinking of going for an air fryer then spend some extra and get yourself one of these, well worth it for what it can do
Tower Air frye
Wow I am thrilled with this product. Its so easy and simple to use. The model is aesthetically pleasing and doesn’t take up much room. As well as being a healthy option for cooking it does the job well. I have made my oven redundant through buying this product. It’s cheap to run and ideal for a person with disabilities. The price is reasonable too. My only criticism is that the chicken size for rotisserie needs to be small. I would recommend this product for a starter flat or small family.
Works perfectly
It works a whole lot better than my old fryer, easier to clean and cooks better. I now use for a far wider range of foods, all in all one of my better purchases.
Two months into purchase.
The cooker is my go to devise for any recipe instruction that tells me to cook in an oven for X minutes, obviously it has to fit. I have just heated frozen breakfast rolls, perfect, yesterday had, black pudding and bacon, a fat free meal. My oven is now only used for larger food.
Some of the reviewers here obviously have had a bad experience, not so with me.
Great value
Bought this to replace my mini oven/grill as I live alone and never use my main oven. I’ve had it a couple of weeks and so far it’s been great. No pre heat needed so saves energy. I’m a pescatarian and so far have cooked salmon fillets, veg sausages, roast potatoes, jacket spuds, roasted veg, chips, pizza, baked apples etc. Great results everytime and much quicker. Easy to use. For the price it’s a great piece of kit. Easy to clean down the trays after use with hot soapy water then a wipe inside and the door. Really pleased with it, fan is slightly noisy but not enough to bother me. Light is helpful. Not used the rotisserie as yet.
This small oven has allowed me to throw my main cooker away!
Absolutely brilliant little cooker. It cooks 5 rashers of bacon per shelf which turns out perfect on a 10 minute setting. The perforated shelves mean that the underside of food cooks as well as the top, with no turning necessary. I’ve even taken the handle off my non stick frying pan so it’ll fit in the cooker and I can now do omelette or fried egg just as perfectly as on the hob of my cooker. In fact I’ve done away with my cooker and now just use this for everything! I’ll probably never use the rotating spit to cook a chicken, as I find it far cheaper to buy ready cooked chicken from the supermarket, but the options there I guess. The only one thing I’d complain about is the fact that because the spit mechanism protrudes, it prevents you from using the centre section of the oven to place a shelf! A completely stupid design flaw if you ask me. There’s even a slot for a shelf, but the shelf bangs up against this damned spit mechanism when it’s part way in. I’d have preferred no spit and a fully usable oven space to be honest. I’ll still give it 5 stars despite this, because the rest of it is such good value for money compared with what else is out there. The wattage is high, the oven is smaller, so it cooks super quick. I chose the manual ‘knob’ version, which is not only cheaper, but is also much faster to use than forever tapping on the temperature and timer buttons of a digital display. I don’t normally do reviews, but this really does deserve it. You won’t be disappointed I guarantee!

A useful alternative cooke
Opinions are my wife’s – We’ve had it about 3 weeks, cooked a small chicken on the spit which was excellent, and the fat dripped into the tray, so you’re not eating excess fat which is healthier. The instruction booklet is not very helpful and is very hard to read as the text is small and in grey print, however it can be viewed on-line. There isn’t much information about how to cook different foods, so its a case of poke and hope… We’ve had an issue with the on/off button in that it doesn’t always respond when touched, seems you have to wake it up by opening the door. Overall its good value for money once you have got used to it.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT
I have to admit to being a bit sceptical about this fryer but can honestly say that I absolutely love it.
I have hardly used my oven since I got it a couple of weeks ago. It crisps up the outside of the food whilst keeping the inside lovely and moist.
I have cooked fish, sausages, steak (not the best for thick steaks) hash browns, chips, scampi etc and reheated loads of other stuff.
Very easy to clean. Just wipe the mesh trays with a damp cloth. I line the ‘drip tray’ with tinfoil which can be thrown away.
Perfect for a couple but not sure it would be great for a family.
Brilliant little oven air fryer, should have bought one ages ago I don’t like the single pull out drawer type so when I saw someone put this on Tiktok obviously got it free lucky so and so’s I bought it, was a bit ticked off it has been very cheap though 65 before and I had to pay 98 but doing it over the 5 months so 20 a month but there we are is what it is, I have 4 girls 12 years down to 3 years old and this cooks enough for all of us, everything comes out perfectly, my oven is on its last legs and can’t afford a new one for quite a while so this was a perfect purchase, really easy to clean, love chucking in a roll with cheese and other stuff on it for a quick snack, no preheating for 20 minutes with the oven, cooked a 1.167kg chicken just need to tie up the legs and wings and some Aunt Bessie duck oil roast potatoes and it all came out really nice and juicy. Just hope it lasts need to remember to do the extra warranty I would have liked the bigger 22l one but didn’t like the manual old school looking buttons and only two trays to cook on, I haven’t used the dodgy oven for a few days now and don’t plan on it really as don’t need to use it unless I cook for more people. super impressed with this so far just need to get to the shops and see what else I can chuck in it. Have seen its best to get 8 inch pizza and use the two bottom trays as top can burn them switch them over half way through. Lovely jubbly
