Game change
I was reluctant to spend 100 on this but when found on Amazon for 60 I thought I’d give it a try. Absolute game changer. Need to make some cabinets shortly and this will make the job so much easier and quicker. Would definitely recommend this jig.
Great alternative to Kregg
Used this for the first time last week and it works fantastic, adjustable guides for your pocket holes to accommodate different width material, solid build, accurate, great alternative to the more pricier Kregg brand, 5 stars
Slightly harsh review but good overall
Sturdily constructed & does the job I need it to. The only reason I’m giving it 4/5 is the clamp doesn’t always hold the workpiece as tight as I’d like, meaning I need to add a screw clamp for important pieces, to avoid slippage. That could probably be overcome with more practice but I think I’d prefer a traight forward screw clamp to the levering one. To be fair, if you had it set perfectly for a certain thickness of wood & were making repeated cuts, this lever system would be much quicker but having to adjust it for different wood thicknesses is a bit of a faff. Don’t regret the purchase though. Just something to bear in mind if there are other options out there.

Easy enough to use and sturdily built. Adjusting pillars can be a little fiddly but with more use should become more accurate. Makes for strong joints

I screwed it to a pallet that acted as my work bench. Works really well. Could be a little more robust but I suspect that would increase the price significantly.
The parts that come with it are good. Two lengths of screw bit, very handy.

Novice joiner. However with the use of this jig I have saved thousands. Already built a built in seating area at a 10th of the cost. Raised dog bed area for pence using left over wood.
Easy to use once you get the hang of it. I watched a few YouTube videos to get to grips with it. I would highly recommend this product to novice or joiner. I. One job I have saved thousands.

Works well and is perfectly fine but a little awkward. Would be five stars if the clamp locked into position so you didn’t have to constantly apply pressure whilst drilling.

I’m a 71 year old retired cabinet maker(retired)and if any one had told me that ! Would use a slot hole jig,but having seen one being used l couldn’t miss the chance when it was less than half price,I’ve not used it yet,but like most of trends stuff it’s well built and accurate,all in all a very good purchase,especially if you don’t know how to construct a real joint!!! Sherlock.

Just arrived today just as I needed it for a job. Used it a few times already and I’m impressed. Never used pocket holes before so it’s my first time using a jig like this. So easy and simple to set up and use. The clamp that comes with it for keeping your wood flush as screw your work pieces together is really handy and works well. Glad I bought this over one of the cheaper models out there. Worth every penny.

Should have got this rig years ago extremely good at what it’s built for. Trades people should find it dead easy to use and diyers should soon pick it up.
Good pocket hole jig
Have only used on test pieces so far but works like a dream, it enables accurate pocket holes to be drilled and the metal guides for the drill bit don’t deteriorate like some of the cheaper plastic ones. The only thing I would say is that during setup it states to put a coin down to get the correct clearance for the drill bit, why not provide a spacer? All in all though happy with this and got it when it was on offer so a bit cheaper, if paying full price it is quite expensive.

Can't be withou
Once you use it, you can’t go back. This is a great home DIYer bit of kit, that takes the effort out of building small projects. It simple, designed well and easily adjustable to perform. A bonus is the accessories and pocket screws, so it’s ready to use.
I am not very experienced at woodworking and after having looked at various options for a pocket hole jig I finally decided to buy this one. I am quite pleased with how this jig works. I have managed to make a shoe rack using studwork timber with all pocket hole joints. It took me some time to work out how to properly set the check up but this is not very complicated. I was able to set up the jig in order to secure the wood pieces. There are holes on the base plate which allow for moving the jig’s clamp so that different thicknesses of wood can be accommodated. The jig also allows for movement of the drilling holes to be adjusted by moving the guides sideways. And the good terms with kit comes with a drill bit which is high quality and sharp and even after drilling several pocket holes it continues to work as good as new. Compared to a cheaper guide that I bought previously this is far better as the last one got damaged very easily. At the hands of a professional this jig might work without any difficulty but due to my lack of experience I did have to look up ways of adjusting the jig to get what I wanted from it.
Outstanding piece of kit.
This is a beautifully engineered tool, supplied with everything needed to use it. The online video is helpful and it is easy to set-up. I have only practiced with it so far, but found it strangly addictive, so am very confident that when the materials arrive for the project I need it for, I will be happy with the result. I imagine that the drill bit supplied could be a little delicate, and it is therefore essential that the advice to clear it by constantly moving it in an out of the hole is followed. It has performed very well so far. My only criticism is that coarse screws are not supplied.

Put off buying a jig for years but now ive got one i wonder how i coped with out it. Very well made and easy to use. Only thing that does get annoying is there is no hoover attachment like the kreg.

So simple
I’m very much a novice wood worker but this was so simple and effective to use. It will give your projects that professional finish. Only complaint is that the included square head driver bits are not the best. They rounded quite quickly. Easy to find better replacements.

Good and well buil
Very good and well built. I have used it a few times now and I am pleased with the built quality. The handle is solid but I would have liked for it to go back a bit further, there is one slot (2 screws) to move it back along the platform a bit but this was not enough to accommodate a 2 x 4 so this is only for smaller size wood. All the accessories are good, one drill bit with a stop ring, alen keys and 2 square screwdriver bits (a short and a long) however there is no depth gauge so I arbitrary left 3 mm between the drill bit and the platform which seems to work well. The Clamping force is very good and the adjustable drill holes are very good and sturdy. There is a hole on the side to evacuate the dust and shavings which is also very handy. The platform can be screwed to a work bench or can be clamped directly onto a sheet of material which is also very good. All in all a good piece of kit for them money. have I have a Trend tools and I have been happy with them so far.
Great product for quick joints
Great jig, metal construction and robust. It is easy to set up and use. Only down side is my kit has the drill collar missing a vital piece of the kit.

I bought this to replace a cheap version. This is so much better, the pocket holes are clean and consistent, the clamp works well and it makes using pocket holes quicker and easier. There is a newer version which has dust extraction but for an occasional user this model is great.

Game changer at a bargain price
Fabulous tool. After struggling with the cheap 15 version I upgraded to this. Instantly increased my productivity and paid for itself within a day or two.
I’m sure the more expensive jigs have advantages, more support / features etc… but for the price of this jig, it is brilliant.
At time of writing this review the jig is on offer for a little more than 50. I can now create an item for my Etsy shop in a couple of hours, as opposed to a few days to return the same amount.

Nice pocket hole jig
I am looking to build some cabinets for my garage and needed something to hold them together. A lot of the videos on line suggest pocket holes so thought I would give this a try. Used for the first time at the weekend and really pleased. Easy to use once set up and came with all the bits necessary to get started. I would recommend.

Having watched videos on how to use this I liked the idea and ease. I’m only a novice at DIY but I loved it, so easy and simple to use, did a practice on a piece of scrap wood and the screw came through slightly so just adjusted the collar and it was perfect. Very happy with my purchase.

I saw a good friend of mine using this tool , and decided I’ll try and up my game in wood working, this tool is great easy use a real game changer for me, I have other trend tools this just completes my collection so happy with it.
Having seen pocket holes in furniture bought from shops I always thought they were done with some special machine. I saw a video with someone using one of these and had to buy one. I wanted to join multiple pieces of pallet wood and this was the tool to do it. Easy to setup and use, drill bit that comes with it was sharp and did a great job.
The screws that come with the Trend PH Pocket Hole Jig have a square head so you have to use one of the two included screwdriver bits (one long, one short). The box said it came with a selection of screws but I checked several and all mine look the same but they work well and I managed to use them to make a hedgehog house out of pallet wood.

Firstly of all I am a complete amateur when it comes to wood work. However, when I saw this and what it claims to do I was intrigued. As soon as it arrived I tried it out straight away. I made a T joint (I think it’s called) and it was solid. This was really an experiment until I know what project to start with.
First thoughts are I’m really impressed and would recommend it.
