Optisches Highlight, schwer, Schubladen mit deutlichem Spiel
Der Schmuckkasten sieht hbsch aus und reicht fr meine Schmuckmenge vllig aus. Die Verarbeitung ist in Ordnung. Was etwas strt ist, dass die Schubladen viel Spiel haben und sie sich ffnen, wenn man den Kasten schrg hlt. Das Holz mit der Maserung sieht in echt besser aus als auf den Fotos. Da mir der Schmuckkasten optisch sehr gut gefllt und ich die klassischen, maximal gepolsterten und verzierten Schatullen nicht mag, hab ich diesen hier behalten und ich kann ber die kleinen Mngel hinwegsehen.
Daher Kaufempfehlung!

Big and sturdy
Much bigger than I expected but on the plus side… more storage capacity! Neat design, robust build and minimal look. Quite heavy so not for moving around much. Fits loads of rings (three per row) and the “hidden” drawer gives me some silly sense of security for more expensive pieces. Biggest complaint is it is quite expensive… Overall happy with my purchase.

Ich habe nicht sehr viel Schmuck und wollte einen schnen, besonderen Schmuckkasten dafr. Den habe ich bekommen. Er sieht gut aus und die Schubladen machen ihn besonders.
Allerdings muss ich mich meinen Vorrednern anschlieen, da der Kasten anfangs einen chemischen Geruch an sich hatte. Ich habe ihn jedoch lange ausgelftet und mit einem Geruchspray behandelt.

This box is sleek and perfect for storing small items like car keys, a wallet, loose change/cash and jewelry.
It has three compartments in which things can be stored. The top compartment opens from the right and has the deepest measurement for more obtuse objects. The front compartment opens straight out toward you and has the largest length x width footprint but is not super high so is most suitable for “thin” objects like a wallet or extra cash. The third compartment is somewhat hidden and opens straight out toward you from the side of the top compartment which needs to be open in order to access this tiny compartment. The tiny compartment is great for an extra car key or other important tiny items. The bottom of all of the compartments are lined with a twill sort of fabric so that metal objects don’t make lout noises if you drop them in or slide them around.
When all of the compartments are closed, the top surface can also serve as a resting place for frequently used things like your wallet, watch, keys, or bracelets/rings, etc.
The black/wood version (pictured in my photo) will fit in nicely in a gentleman’s study or library type room in your home. The white/wood version will look great in a lighter more casual environment.

Very Compac
I use this jewellery box for my accessories and tools. I really enjoy the simple design and convenient shelves. The materials used to make this box are not very expensive but are good quality and seem very durable. The box has three shelves, all different sizes and all have soft fabric at the bottom of the shelf so your jewellery will not get damaged. The biggest is the bottom one and can fit the normal size pencil wide wise.
Overall, it’s a very simple and practical product. It’s made of simple but durable materials, looks very simple and clean.

Molto bello questo portagioie. Capiente il giusto, lo tengo sul comodino e ci sta tutto quello che mi serve: orologio, braccialetti, pacchetto di fazzoletti, burro di cacao. Sopra appoggio gli occhiali. Ho acquistato anche la versione pi grande per il bidet. Decisamente soddisfatta.

My daughter has a large collection of jewelry. Her grandmother has given her a some treasured pieces that I have been reluctant to give her because she didn’t have a safe place to store them. The “Umbra Stowit Jewelry Box” keeps her treasures safe and secure.
The “Umbra Stowit Jewelry Box” is a beautiful jewelry box. IT combines the organizational features of a traditional jewelry box with a sleek modern design. It measures approximately 28 x 20 x 10 cm when closed.
The jewelry box has several compartments to keep your jewelry organized. Each compartment is lined with a linen pad to protect your favourite pieces from shifting around and being damaged. The bottom drawer is large enough to store photos or other trinkets. The top compartment contains a storage area and a ring holder. The bottom of the box has rubber pads to prevent it from damaging any surface it is sitting on.
I was slightly disappointed in the “hidden” storage area. When you slide the top of the jewelry box open the hidden drawer is discovered. It can be pulled out from either the front or the back. If you don’t close it properly it will prevent you from closing the lid properly.
The drawers open easily, perhaps to their detriment. When you pick up the box if you tip is slightly the drawers will open. They don’t fall out, with the exception of the “hidden” drawer which will fall out from either the front or back.
I really like the simple design of the lid. For anyone who would like to empty their pockets at the end of the night, this is a great place to store those item. It is large enough to hold a wallet, watch and other small items to easily access again in the morning.

Some notes on features: drawer slides open and closes nicely, the top is nice for storing jewlery or anything else and it looks decent (not cheap). The unit is heavy. My only complaint would be that it is quite pricey.

A few flaws, but very attractive
I was excited to received this jewelry box, expecting that I would love it- and I do like it, but it isn’t all that I hoped for. My favourite thing about this box is how it looks; I give it top marks for it’s clean lines and modern styling. When it comes to functionality however, (especially when factoring in the price tag) it scores a bit less in my book. I imagine this box is probably suitable for most people’s needs, but If you are a jewelry lover like me, and perhaps have a greater quantity/variety of pieces than most, then you may find this box inadequate. Not only is this too small to comfortably hold all of my jewelry, but it lacks drawers deep enough to hold my larger, chunkier pieces. Also, while by no means terrible, I think the quality of workmanship could be better. I don’t have an issue with the materials used in it’s construction- the wood is solid and the metal seems durable and is finished well- but the drawers in my box are quite loose and they don’t slide or align as well as I would like. In fact, I find it annoying that one of my drawers needs to be slid at a very specific angle in order to fully close it………
Bottom line: this is perhaps overpriced for what it is, but I think it is an attractive looking box that could work for either gender.
Jewelry box
Simple and functional box. The wood is nicely finished, the white paint is solid.
If you don’t have a lot of thick jewelry it will be just fine, if you have large pieces not all will fit. There are four compartments in three drawers, one compartment is a “hidden” compartment. Pretty cool idea. The top of the box serves as a tray for pieces that you wear most often, pretty ideal for “grab and go” scenario.
I find this box to be pretty universal or unisex if you prefer this term, it can serve well to both women and men. In a clean, simple modern bedroom it will look amazing!
The design and colors kind of remind me some of Ikea furniture 🙂
Nice desig
The Umra Jewelry box is well designed, attractive, but maybe a bit too masculine and small for females. Wood and metal, kind of cool looking. Now my wife has a place to keep her jewellry in it, if she wants to. But if not, I can use it to keep small items, such as tiny screws and screwdrivers I need to repair small items, such as computers, or other electronic devices that sometimes I have to.
It has multi use capabilities, good for both male or female jewelry or to store smaller items which are easy to misplace.
Modern, minimalistic, perhaps rudimentary design, with minimal storage capacity
Very minimalistic, simple, modern design which some might describe as “basic” or rudimentary box design.
It’s essentially limited to three/four compartments, that are fairly small. As a result, it will not neatly contain a lot of jewellery some. The fit and finish is pretty good. The white enamel paint is thick, and the wood is nicely finished and all fits and slides smoothly, though I did note a small dent in the white lid rim as depicted in one of the pictures. Closing the ‘secret’ compartment is a bit more difficult than it needs to be because if you don’t slide it in enough, or slide it in too much, the larger compartment will not close properly.
Whether this Jewellery box will work for you really comes down to two things – aesthetics and how much jewellery you want to store in it. Aesthetically, this jewellery box would look great in a minimalistic modern dcor displayed prominently on modern clutter free dresser, or even on a similarly styled front hall table, and would work quite well for daily jewellery and accoutrements — i.e. watch, wring, wallet, key’s and phone.
The box was designed by Sung Wook Park who works for Umbra. His name is burnt into the bottom of the box. His bio says he was born in Seoul Korea and graduated from Industrial Design Program at Ontario College of Art and Design.
That said, if the aesthetics don’t work for you, or you are looking to store a larger collection of jewellery you’d be better off looking for something different.
As for rating, I like the aesthetics but I’m not completely sold on the value given the price, as such I’m giving it a solid 4/5.

Die Stowit ist echt schn, tolles Holz, gute Verarbeitung. Nimmt wenig Platz weg und sieht gut aus. Auerdem ist sie auch rutschfest durch kleine Fe. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
Attractive, useful, and easy to live with for both men and women!
Most jewellery boxes are either ornate, Victorian looking things, or simple boxy structures with little visual appeal. OK, so that’s not really completely true, but as a male, my interactions with jewellery boxes is limited to seeing what the ladies in my life use, and either the women I’ve known have little taste in jewellery boxes or they all have the same taste! Seeing something new and (gasp!) attractive is a novel experience for me.
This Umbra Stowit jewellery box is certainly new and attractive, at least to me. The design is simple, clean, and modern (perhaps with a throwback to art-deco influences). It’s got a wood surface combined (and contrasting) with white metal. I can understand some traditionalists may not like this jewellery box, but I certainly do! And while I don’t have a lot of jewellery (except watches which are all stored in special winding cases), what little I do have in the non-watch fields I am quite pleased to place in this Umbra Stowit. It looks good for males, as well as females!
There’s four compartments in three drawers. A bottom drawer slides out the bottom, as does a smaller drawer (almost a hidden one) in the top, which emerges when you slide the top of the Stowit to the right to open a third storage unit. None of the storage areas are very large (the unit is only 28x20x10cm) but they will hold rings, bracelets and necklaces, and so on without issue. The white metal top of the box is a good place to put frequently-worn items, easy to grab when getting ready, but also quite an attractive background for the jewellery. The bottom of the Stowit has rubber feet to protect whatever it sits on, and the drawers all have a pad in them to prevent scratches and give a neutral background.
My wife likes the look of this Umbra Stowit, but prefers her much larger jewellery box, which freed this unit up for me. As someone who has traditional “stored” jewellery in a dresser drawer, not really caring about organization, I must admit I found using the Stowit a nice experience, and I do like the appearance. I’m planning to buy some for male friends’ birthdays, I like it that much! The only complaint I have is the Stowit isn’t very large: perhaps a super-size version will appear!

Si vous cherchez une boite bijou sobre et pratique, vous apprcierez ce produit. Ce fut une belle ide de cadeau pour la fte des mres utile et authentique par le matriau bois. La boite est toute de mme lourde car c’est du bois massif. Si vous avez des meubles de cette couleur c’est galement une touche dco.

Ich besitze diese Schmuck Schatulle nun seit einigen Monaten und bin sehr glcklich mit ihr. Sie ist gerumiger als ich gedacht habe( auf den Abbildungen erscheint sie etwas kleiner) aber das finde ich sehr gut. Die Qualitt ist einwandfrei. Ich bin wie gesagt sehr glcklich mit meiner neuen Schmuck Schatulle 🙂

Sorted and stored
A simple design providing good storage options as well as being neat and compact. Sturdy construction, the metal top slides out to reveal a storage compartment and ring holders. Under the lid is a slide out storage box too.
The bottom drawer also slides out giving a larger full width storage option. Rubber feet in each corner at the base protect your surfaces.
Umbra Jewellery Box - Modern Design but Smallest Drawer gets in Way
A heavy modern jewellery box which would suit modern schemes totally. The big niggle I have with it is when opening the main slide out top bit the white part, then there comes a little box on the right hand side with a finger hole cut out. This small part when you then try to close the white slide lid comes to a stop as if this drawer is not in the right place. (Easy to over push and it shoots out the other side). It will not close one of those really niggle things for me anyway hence the four star.
The box itself has lots of room for various items of jewellery but for me big modern chunky rings only a couple will fit into the ring spaces (think it more for the dainty items of jewellery. Also had a bracelet get stuck when trying to shut it.
Design wise looks good and a very modern vibe to it, can not fault the quality of it (feels like it is built to last).
I’ve tried it out but now son got it for his cuff links and watches as suits his room and needs better than mine. He likes it as it is modern and not feminine in design. Already have a few items from Umbra bought over the years as they do seem to last.
This is a very nicely finished blond wood box measuring approximately 10 inches by just over 8 inches. It is 11 inches high. In the base, is a pull-out wood drawer which is lined. The spec says it is lined with linen but what they mean is very fine grey velour. The drawer pull is white metal.
The top of the box is a white metal tray which slides to the right, revealing a square compartment and a ring compartment. Again these are lined with very fine grey velour. The tray doesn’t come completely off of the box. Under the tray is a pullout drawer which pulls all the way out and made of blond woo d again lined with grey velour. This little wooden drawer pulls either backwards or forwards but you need to make sure it’s lined up properly before you shut the metal lid. It has plastic pads on the bottom so it doesn’t scratch your furniture.
It certainly does give the impression of a very no-nonsense minimalistic modern jewellery box/caddy. It’s good for a guy or gal.
Is nicely designed and nicely finished. If you are looking for an ultramodern jewellery box, this could be a good option.
Practical jewellery box
This a good idea for a jewellery box because it uses the space so much better than a traditional design. Instead of having to remove a top tray to get at the lower level, or just piling things on top of each other in a more simple box, you can access all of your jewellery at the same time. You can also stand things on the top of the box without having to move them to open it. I’m standing my day and night cream on it, but it’s also useful to pop ear rings down briefly whilst putting them on. They really show up well against the shiny white finish.
It has a simple stripped-down Scandi look to it which would suit someone who prefers the minimalist look to girly frills. Good idea for a present.
One tiny design fault is that the smallest drawer has to be pushed back in to precisely the right depth, or the top drawer won’t slide back in. There should have been a stopper at the back to make it impossible to get it wrong. Apart from that it’s great.

I have been looking for jewellery box for ages since I did not want a tacky or obvious one.When I saw this,I knew I had to buy it.My expectations were high,but the real box itself excelled them.The box is really good quality,wood is perfect and it fits really well in my room.Highly recommend it! 😉
