Had an issue in the bathroom due to leaky shower seal.Absorbed from adjacent carpet well over the course of a month and helped with the musty smell.

Does a good job
It’s collecting water probably at a lower rate than an electric dehumidifier but it does the job. You might need two depending how big the room is. I am happy with it for the price.

I have a cupboard in the basement were things were going mouldy due to the damp. This little marvel, is great at collecting the moisture and no more mould problem. The tablets don’t really smell, so wouldn’t pay extra for the scented ones

After doing some research on much more expensive dehumidifiers, I concluded from the reviews that they’re hit and miss, they work for some peoples situations and not for others. So, seeing so many positive comments about this one, I thought I’d chance it for a mere eight pounds, if it doesn’t do the job then I’ve basically lost nothing. I have one particular room where the entire window is covered in condensation in the mornings during colder months, I have no idea why as the rest of the house is fine, but it’s extremely annoying. The package arrived next day and upon opening it, it’s very obvious how to put the moisture tab in, nothing tricky, it takes one second. I then put it on the windowsill and hoped for the best. The next morning I apprehensively went into the room and opened the curtains. Unbelievably the window was clear and dry. The container had a small amount of blue coloured water, roughly 2mm deep in the bottom. A miracle! Since then, for the last six weeks it has continued to work well, a couple of times there has been a trace of condensation at the bottom of the window but that’s pretty normal. Plus I’m still on the first tab which has some life in it yet. I’ve been so pleased with the results that I’ve stocked up with a years worth of refills (each tab is supposed to last 3 months) for a tenner. Usually things are too good to be true, you get what you pay for etc. etc. but this thing genuinely has been a small amount of money extremely well spent. No more wiping down the window every morning, no more worrying about moisture attacking the room and it’s contents. If you’ve got the same problem as I had I recommend you try it before shelling out money on more sophisticated methods. A footnote: I read another reviewer saying that they accidentally spilled the collected water and it’s horrible stuff. I’d say it’s difficult to spill, you’d have to drop the unit so that it breaks open, it won’t leak if you tip it up, it’s well sealed. BUT, having read that review I decided to empty the contents on some weeds in the garden. I shall update with news about a possible double use! It’s only needed emptying once so far. Just buy it.

I was surprised how well this product work. It has been placed in the bathroom and it has reduced the smell of mould in the bathroom and it is absorbant of moisture is really good.

Definitely removes moisture! Once invested in unit then refils are quite expensive. Last about a month in the airing cupboard (autumn so a lot of moisture around).

Really easy to set up, I bought 2, one for my utility room and the other on the landing, both are collecting lots of moisture already, they will probably be full by the end of the week! If this lasts 90 days then that means there’s not a lot of moisture to collect which is a good thing! So not sure why people are complaining about how long they last! I got the refill pack too. Hopefully once the house settles they will start to last longer for me

I don’t understand the reviews on here that are moaning about the absorber lasting only a few weeks. Erm…that means….ITS ACTUALLY WORKING. It will last according to how much moisture there is in the room…true fact. I’m really pleased with mine and astounded at just how much it collects from the air. I reckon mine will last about 3/4 weeks. I was getting mould on the ceiling in bedroom, and now I know why! A bit fiddly to put together and all the gaps don’t quite align, but is functional and doing what it should. Looking forward to trying the lavender refills.
Collects Moisture as it says...within 12hrs
Followed picture instructions and put this together in a few minutes. I am using it in a built in wardrobe as my shoes were showing some mould on them. Ensured that air can circulate around it. This collected Moisture within hours so hope I will be mould free in the future. I have just applied for another one to use in another area.

I bought this to put in my car but as it works so well it now sits in the room I use for drying my washing. The room appears condensation free and I have noticed the clothes dry much quicker and fresher too. I aim to purchase another for the car.

My bedroom every winter gets so damp and I have so much condensation on my window It trickles down my window on to my window sill and on the floor so I thought I would try this product and oh my the best decision I’ve ever made my windows have barely any condensation some days even none I doubt it will last me 3 months though I’ve had it since Monday it’s Friday now and it’s about 1/5 full which to some may be a let down but it has saved me so much hassle you can even buy refills with is always a bonus!! Honestly if you have loads of condensation or damp give this a try you won’t be disappointed!! 5 stars all round

How have I not discovered these before
Don’t put these on a window sill right next to window as this just draws moisture from outside. I have 5 of these now one in each bedroom. And one in longe. They have made such a difference with condensation. They are not designed for when you hang washing in doors just natural build up of moisture through the night. Amazing product very happy.

OMG!! I didn’t realise just how bad the mould and moisture levels were in my bedroom! I just received the moisture absorber on Saturday 16th and as you will see from my picture it WORKS! It’s definitely value for money and I will be buying at least 2 more of these. It was a struggle to put together though the instructions could be better but other than that I have no complaints.

Feels a bit flimsy when putting it together and you have to be careful to get all the clips in properly, but once it’s done it’s fine.
Put it on my windowsill last night and it already has a bit of water in this morning and there’s no condensation on the windows. Old house, cavity wall insulation, 80s or 90s double glazing which isn’t really fit for purpose any more, so from October onwards the windows get very wet overnight, even with a window ajar for ventilation. Hopefully this will continue to work as the weather gets colder.

Bought for Motorhome
They are just the job to take the moisture out of the air in the motorhome, overnight we have had a lot of condensation on the windscreen it has helped reduce this also for the bathroom. They have worked well.
This works great. Bought for my basement as there isn’t any plug sockets down there for my plug in one. Collected alot of water in a short time.
*People complaining they still get condensation on their windows misunderstand the product. It will not get rid of condensation on windows. Not even my plug in one will. You need to wipe your windows down when they are dripping in condensation and open a window to prevent excess water and mould growing in the room.*

Had my doubts at first but it works really well, leave it in one place for a week and the water is building up in it its slow but not noisy and would would walk right past it if you did not know it was there very good product.

I am so glad I discovered this item. It is easy to install the refill and it gets to work straight away without any need for batteries or electricity. I have placed one in my conservatory and I can see the difference it is making already. Any moisture is absorbed and drops into the reservoir. I’m so impressed, I’ve bought more!

Bigger than I expected but it’s not a problem. Easy to put together and dies the job. However, the device is quite wobbly and seems to be ready to collapse at anytime!

Bought two of these a couple of weeks ago and are filling up well, I have a feeling il need to replace the tabs monthly but there is alot of damp near my windows so I thought they would fill up quite quick. Atleast they work! And at a good price. Bigger than I thought they would be but still fit nicely on the windowsill.

Decent alternative to a more expensive dehumidifie
We had a bit of a mould problem and we put one of these by each mould patch and did the usual mould removal and repainting. These definitely helped and were a much cheaper solution to buying a plug-in, electric dehumidifier. The mould hasn’t come back yet, so these clearly helped.

So effective
We had an awful damp problem in our nursery. The humidity/moisture level was measuring at over 80% and electric dehumidifiers are so expensive and we were financially frugal due to covid.
Tried this on a whim hoping it would at least be a short term solution.
It’s surprised me how effective they were. Within two days, air moisture had dropped to 65% mark, still high, but after a month it had dropped between 43-53% and it has stayed that way. Mould seems to be minimal and the room isn’t as cold due to less damp in air.
Effective and amazing price!
We were struggling with an immense build up of mould in our window, no matter how much we aired and heated the room properly. This has helped a lot. We still get a little mould but as much as 90% less with this! Fabulous product at an amazing cost. I would not say it is a miracle worker but it certainly make maintaining it a lot easier.

A Great Dehumidifier . . .
I’ve been using one of these in every room of my home for about a year or so now, and they have definitely made a difference to the humidity in my very old, stone-walled, home.
I love that, because it isn’t run with electricity, there is no noise – I have an aquarium, and the pumps and filters on that make enough noise already, without adding more – but I do have just one beef with it, and that’s because, despite the ads saying that the refills last up to 3 months, I’ve yet to have one last any more than 3 WEEKS!
I keep dithering, as to whether or not I should just bite the bullet, and get an electric one, as I feel that the expense of the refills – and I’m using 5 of them every 3-4 weeks – will be getting so expensive, that it would probably be better for me, financially, just to get one that will dehimidify my whole home instead.
There’s also the pro’s and con’s of the amount of packaging I keep adding to the bin, too – the boxes that the refills come in are cardboard, so can be recycled, but the plastic that wraps each refill ISN’T 🙁
I guess I’ll just keep on using them for a bit longer before I decide which one is best but, as I began this review, they really DO work, and work well, so that’s a great plus for them!

I’d seen these in stores for ages and had wrongly assumed they were disposable. My mum has one, and recommended getting one for my house as were having an ongoing problem with condensation on one interior wall during winter from drying clothes on the radiators.
This little thing has been in place for a week, and has caught so much moisture it’s amazing and condensation hasn’t been an issue since. I’d expect to have to replace the tablet every 6 weeks – for the price it’s a brilliant fix for the problem we were having during the winter months. Highly recommended!
Update: with continued use, condensation is no longer an issue. I’ve finally been able to sand and repaint the wall and I’ve not have any issues with paint peeling as I have in the past. Brilliant little product!

This is fantastic, we have one in every room in our home and they really collect moisture better then the cheap ones found in shops. Yes they are a bit expensive but so worth it as you only change it when the container is full and the absorbing stone has dissolved. Easy to clean too and easier on the environment.
Useful for damp spots but not condensatio
Collect moisture really well in damp spots around the home (like behind the toilet) however certainly do not prevent condensation, in which case, a dehumidifier would be much more effective. Use gloves when changing these.

Seriously ? Warmth ? It is ouderless and cold. But we have used these tablets and holder for a couple of years in our bathroom and find them effective. The shower is used two or three times a day and this keeps the condensation down.

Prices for this vary a lot. When I bought was good value and it works better than small dehumidifiers. However it is a big thing, takes up space on the bathroom window
CLASSIC CAR OWNERS – this review is for you.
I own a lovely classic mini (1989) which give me the joys of her foot wells filling with water and just generally being wet on the inside.
This little dehumidifier made a noticeably difference the next day! I had no water droplets around any of my windows and she seemed fairly ‘dry’. Obviously the windows were still wet but it cleared the droplets that flung themselves at me while driving.
If you’re thinking about purchasing, then I would do it. Their customer service is great too. The little ring that goes inside the dehumidifier was snapped in half so could not be used. I asked them to send a replacement ring and I get a whole new dehumidifier! All within a couple of days!

I bought 2 of these for the bedrooms … one in my sons room and the other in mine … at night I put both at the windows his seemed to work better than mine as there was very little condensation. In my room there still is some but not as bad .. I’ll give it a few weeks though before deciding on buying the refills

Good riddance damp smell
I bought these for my shed. I bought two at the beginning. I have seen and felt the difference. My shed doesn’t feel so damp anymore and there is no damp smell. I liked them so much that I have bought a bunch more, to put in several other places.

Put in the bathroom to try and solve my moisture problem and mould on ceiling due to poor ventilation.
Within 2 days the unit started to fill with blue water so it was drawing in plenty of moisture.

Just look at the difference between the two options. One with almost a full chamber and one with literally nothing. I cannot recommend this amazing product enough!!!!! Just bought 2 more and refills. There is no competition. Finally a product genuinely delivers!

After reading mixed reviews I took a chance on this and so glad I did. Admittedly its bigger than I expected but that’s due to me not checking the size – hence not as discreet as Id hoped for, but does the job and I have no more wet window sils !

Boight 2 for bedroom as not a lot of air in there so sometimes feels a bit damp. Seems to do a decent job but stones feel a bit heavy for the rest of it, also the water gets turned blue so gotta prey dint spill it but works well enough

I was so close to retrofitting trickle vents into my windows when I stumbled upon this.
The Aero has significantly reduced condensation on my windows and stopped mould from appearing. Very happy and would recommend before doing anything drastic.

These turned up and I was surprised as they are huge……my mistake, didn’t look at the sizes properly. However they work well, you just need to check they fit in your space. Well made, quickly delivered.

Doing the job it was bought for ,so far no mould.
We have a real issue with condensation when using the clothes horse in colder months but this has completely solved the problem! We couldn’t believe how much moisture it soaks up and it also makes sure our washing doesn’t have that horrible smell. Brilliant purchase.
Love this product, it really does help at catching moisture. Especially as my bathroom has no window so this just adds extra protection from mildew. Highly recommend

Certainly these, the tablets, absorb the moisture within my home. However, whether they will, after a duration of time, stop the condensation on my windows is another thing … fingers crossed.
