I ordered this for my conservatory as it condensates a lot at night time. Since having this on the window ledge there has been a noticeable difference. Only have to refill once every couple of weeks. The box also holds a lot of water so don’t have to worry about emptying the container every day
I purchased three of these to address high humidity levels in my house. While they did help reduce the humidity, they seem more suitable for environments with even higher humidity levels than mine. Ultimately, we resolved the issue by getting a dehumidifier, which effectively solved the problem. Still, I was impressed with how these products contributed to managing the humidity.
I used this in my car as it had a bit of mould buildup from being say outside all winter so I used this inside of my car and it most definitely worked and kept the mould/mildew from reappearing. Just make sure you don’t drive off with it still in the car. Was a bit of a pain having to put it in then take it out the car every time I drove but it was worth it as it worked as intended. I’d recommend using it for about 3 weeks to a month to be sure for moisture removal.
The product is good but only for small places or for a not continuous situation.
I tried it in one of my flat rooms but although it did work and the smell of mould disappeared it consumed the material inside very quickly so if it is to use in a bigger space or for longer I suggested looking for another option.
I’ve written this review because I’ve seen so many comments stating used for excess moisture in bathroom or similar. These aren’t really useful for that job think about it these may collect a couple litres in a month. My electric dehumidifier will collect that in a day. These are more suited to say damp in a wardrobe or a car and area that isn’t subject to a massive amount of moisture. I have now doubt they work but do not buy this thinking it will clear up the masses of moisture from a bathroom, it just won’t.
These work really well far better than any other dehumidifier product I’ve used.
But they’re not cheap I wonder if it’s be cheaper just to get an electric dehumidifier for my room rather than keep buying these refills!
I worry about that next winter or the one after as with this bumper pack I might be okay for another year.
Works well, but an expensive way to reduce damp. Only suitable for small areas, like a window sill, in my experience. It does do its claimed job however.
As the circular attractant does its job and degrades, it can leave a sticky blue mess around the inside of the holder, requiring cleaning and drying everytime it is replaced.
I have a steel roof on my garage which causes a huge amount of condensation that literally rains on everything stored in there. It was huge problem until I bought one of these humidifiers. The first one I bought was not this make but cost 20 and this Unibond Aero was nearly half the price but works equally as well. I use them both at the same time spread out and the condensation seems to have disappeared and the joists are drying out. Brilliant I am so glad I did not buy an electric one.
I bought two, one for my bedroom and one for the bathroom as both suffer from terrible condensation. Once you understand how to put it together it’s easy to use. Each block lasts about 3 months, works well in both location, condensation still happens but knowing it’s being cleared rather than allowing to stay and the potential for mould is helpful.
I have a couple of these moisture absorbers at my holiday chalet by the coast. The air is quite humid so the tablets don’t last as long as they would elsewhere, but they are obviously working as they draw a lot of moisture from the air.
Bought this for my son’s room and so far in last 3 days, its doing the job alright. It has managed to collect some moisture from the air already. Good value for money and enough for a medium sized room.
I bought these lavender refills to use in a pound-shop type damp trap (I didn’t bother buying Unibond’s overpriced contraption) As you can see from the photos, you can fit roughly half a refill into a typical damp trap.
Judging by all the complaints about broken refills & how they are unusable in Unibond’s setup, this is a perfectly good way of using those smashed-up refills!
I bought this product for the window sill it has over the last month filled up entirely and the good thing is you won’t need to chuck it away simply buy the refills, it saves on waste especially plastic waste such as the cheap ones you can buy out of the pound shops. I will purchase more for the rest of the home.
I bought this to help with the extra moisture in my bathroom. I didn’t know what to expect but I must say it has made a difference. I use to notice lots of condensation on my tiles in the morning and obviously after showering. Since having this device this has considerably changed. It took a couple of days to notice anything happening when I first installed it but since then it has worked remarkably well. Would definitely recommend for a small/medium bathroom.
I recently purchased the Unibond AERO 360 Moisture Absorber Waterfall Freshness Refill Tab to combat the humidity in my wardrobe. I was pleasantly surprised by its effectiveness! The refill tab quickly absorbed excess moisture, leaving my wardrobe and clothes feeling drier and more comfortable.
The pack is big and seems unnecessarily complicated, and the ‘aero 360′ idea is of course marketing nonsense – air will diffuse through the holes just as with any other product. Mine is currently in a 27’ boat to keep it dry over winter, and so far seems to be doing OK. Too early to give stars for absorbency, but so far a cautious thumbs up.
Doesn’t completely remove the window condensation in our house, but we have a lot of it and it has drastically improved. Compact enough for a windowsill. MUCH better than those ones with small pellets in that you can buy multiples of for a few quid – in my experience these just don’t work. Obviously not as effective as an electric one but you’re also not wasting electricity and you can place them wherever you want, instead of only near an electric point. The replacement cartridges can be relatively expensive on Amazon but I have found them cheaper in other shops. We will purchase a couple more for other rooms in the house.
I’ve put this in the attic bedroom which has large old windows that condensate. It collected its first few drops of liquid within 8 hours and continued to fill for around a week but has since stopped, it’s not even half full yet so I’m not sure why its stopped. It didnt help to reduce any condensatio
Almost returned it after getting a mini electric dehumidifier that pulled 2-3x more moisture in a day, but then I noticed it did a really good job at eliminating odors so I kept it and move it around the flat. Good for medium and small rooms. The lavender scent is my fave, the neutral scent is not neutral but has a fainter smell.
I think this product is brilliant, I have a smallish flat. I only needed 2 as they cover 20m. I placed mine by the bath room door between my kitchen and a bedroom. All north facing rooms so can condensate quite a lot the other 1 is on my stairs. I live I. A flat, I have my own entrance but it’s concrete stairs. Although it carpeted. In the winter the bottom half gets damp. I also have dogs and where it gets damp, my stairs can smell a bit musty. The product t has stopped that. Very impressed
Been using this range in bathroom for a couple of years now, some scents stronger than others but they do the job intended to do. Good value from amazon this month, easy to use, pop in and wait. Water goes blue in tank and you empty whenever you want.
We have several of these UniBond AERO 360 Moisture Absorbers around the house. As they do not need to run on electricity. There’s an tab that you place inside and moisture turns into a blue liquid, once the tab is finished it’s time to change for a new one.
I did find the newer models of this moisture absorber that plastic seems to be cheaper and parts broke. Amazon was wonderful with replacements.
This genuinely surprised me in the difference it makes. We have a bathroom with no window that was smelling damp and the moisture would just sit in there. I popped this in there and it genuinely did make a difference within 12 hours as it says! It’s collected so much water already so am anticipating an increased rate of use for the refills, but it’s removing the moisture from the air successfully and that’s what matters most!
I was getting alot of condensation in winter and was recommended to use these. It’s surprising how much water they absorbe in just a day or two. I do still get condenation but nowhere near as much. Will definitely continue to use
We bought these to go in our storage container to absorb any moisture in the air. I was surprised to see after 2 days there was already water in the reservoir. Amazon was the cheapest place to buy these by far.
Used to reduce condensation in boat cabin over winter. Seems to work very effectively at absorbing moisture which accumulates in the base of the unit. The unit has be checked from time to time to empty the base and insert new absorber blocks. Ours used 3 of these over 4 months, removing about 1.5 – 2 litres of water from the air in the cabin.
Repeat purchase. Have these dotted around an old house. Don’t know if they actually make a big difference, but they do seem to absorb a lot of moisture. Fingers crossed.
Have been using these for years, and I have never had a problem with them. The only thing is that they are a bit expensive, and it seems no matter where you get them from the price is usually the same, they never seem to discount.them.
Fiddly to put it all together, and the base didn’t seem to fit, took it to bits and started again and all fits well.. feels a little flimsy but does the job. Got this for 8.99 wouldn’t have wanted to have paid more for it. Don’t know how long it will last. I was using the disposable ones which seem to last a good 3 months. Be good to compare. Refills look a bit pricy but not and issue. This is quite a large unit . I have it in the bathroom so I expect to go through more than average refills.
I have only been using this item for a few days. Put it in an understairs cupboard which always had a musty smell and was always damp. The smell has now gone completely and the liquid in the bottom of the container shows how much water it is absorbing. Recommend this produc
I have been using it for over 6 months and it’s amazing. It absorbs alot of steam from cooking and also keeps the smell of spices from spreading through out the house. I would 100% recommend it.
I got this for a cold and damp extension at the back of my house where I keep the tumble dryer. The room is unheated and runs with condensation in winter, grows mould and has peeling paint.
The dehumidifier comes with a doughnut shaped water absorbent agent which is supposed to fit in the plastic container in a specific way. Mine arrived broken in half, but I put the bits in anyway and hoped for the best. It is a cheap option, small enough to stand anywhere, easy to use and I can get the refills easily.
I recently purchased the UniBond AERO 360 Moisture Absorber Neutral Refill Tab for my home in the UK, and it has been a game-changer! I primarily used this product to tackle the issue of excess moisture in my living space, and I’m thrilled with the results.
What I love most about the UniBond AERO 360 Moisture Absorber is its effectiveness. It efficiently absorbs moisture, preventing mold, dampness, and musty odors from taking over my home. I noticed a significant improvement in air quality, and my rooms feel fresher and more comfortable than ever before.
Another aspect I appreciate is the refill tabs. They are incredibly easy to use and install. Plus, the neutral fragrance ensures that there are no overpowering scents, maintaining a pleasant and natural atmosphere in my living space.
However, one thing I found slightly inconvenient is the size of the unit. It can be a bit bulky, taking up valuable space in smaller areas. Nonetheless, considering the excellent results it delivers, this minor drawback is easily outweighed.
In conclusion, the UniBond AERO 360 Moisture Absorber Neutral Refill Tab has proven to be an essential product for maintaining a fresh and dry environment in my UK home. Its impressive moisture-absorbing capabilities, easy-to-use refill tabs, and neutral fragrance make it a worthy investment. Say goodbye to dampness and hello to a comfortable living space with this moisture absorber!
Been usin these fae years now. Have three runnin in my flat during the cold damp months, they really make a big difference.
My conservatory gets so damp. This little gadget makes wonder, keeps the mew smell away, ordered the replacement . Thank you.
This was easy to assemble and it really works. I bought a little machine that reads the temperature and humidity levels and it is now under 60% using this humidifier. It collected 250ml in one week alone. This is my third one now. Great value and arrived very quickly too.
Not much to say Does the job and was at an good price
This is my second purchase of a 360, I have one in the attic bedroom, and have no problems now with condensation.
So this second one is for the bedroom, as I have a corner wall which is prone to condensation, upto now everything is staying moisture free.
This is very flimsy and seems to be made from paper this plastic, but it works well.
I am reasonably happy with this unit, I works well and certainly collects moisture well but changing the moisture collection block is awkward and can be challenging.
I have, however,
not found anything else to better it.
Having read various reviews and reports about this product, I thought I would give it a try.
Maybe I was expecting too much but I didn’t find it provided much of a difference for my particular circumstances.
I will buy some of the refills and persist in case there were any quality issues with the one I received but so far,I’m a little disappointed.
Bought 2 to help tackle problem of condensation in main bedroom on cold mornings. Product is easy to assemble and looks ok on the window sills. I have emptied them a couple of times since assembly as they do collect water. However although condensation is somewhat reduced even with 2 it is still quite substantial some mornings. Going to have to invest in a small dehumidifier for the colder weather as don’t want to have to purchase refills every month.
UniBond AERO 360 Moisture Absorber, Ultra-Absorbent Dehumidifier
Does the job , easy to use and dispose of liquid. We live in and old house with significant condensation in a bed room. Manages to last a month to 6weeks for us and only had minimal condensation on very damp morning. Before there was enough to run down to window frame ever morning. Hopefully will minimise damp windows and mouldy rims agai
So, I waited a little bit before writing the review to give it a proper chance to work (or not)
I put this in my bathroom as the extractor van has been a little iffy and it felt a little damp.
The container itself is a little bulkier than I had thought but the ‘polo’ in the middle is also quite big so I guess it’s needed. Also does mean it holds a fair amount of liquid.
It didn’t last the 1 – 3 months like it suggests. For me only lasting 3 weeks before I needed to replace the absorbent ‘polo’.
They can be purchased separately so you don’t need to buy a whole unit again which is good but I did expect it to last longer than it did.
However I can also tell that it has worked. The room feels less damp and I did have to empty a 3/4 full container of liquid.
It’s the best thing I have found so far with the least amount of emptying etc.
I liked that it was cheaper than the ones I used to buy in the shops.Does the job well l have brought many times
Though we have a humid sensing fan this addition really helps to collect excess moisture well. Bit over priced but so far so good.
Good if you don’t want to get an electric dehumidifier. I’ve got mine in a cupboard that can get a bit musty.
Used in the garden House. There is humidity for sure there. It full fill the tank in 3 weeks. But the humidity smell don’t go away.
These are brilliant I have two in the built in wardrobe and they are very efficient they really do the job.
Bought this product to use in a shower room. It has collected water, during the 3 weeks we have used it. So happy with this easy to use product.
This was larger than expected but just what I needed to put in my downstairs loo to absorb any excess moisture and deodorises at the same time
Replaced previous purchase of these, used over winter in the caravan, cheap & efficient.
My sister got a few of these and said they are brilliant so thought I would try one in our static caravan and totally agree. They work out a lot cheaper and refill lasts lot longer then the other humidifiers that you dispose when full that pleased with mine going to order a few more
The dehumidifier seems to be ok although it is taking time for the liquid to form in the container. I’m not sure whether this is because it is slow to work or there isn’t as much dampness in this area as I thought. Time will tell.
We have one in a few of our rooms, really works to suck the moisture out of the air. Need to buy tablets quite often but that may be the moisture levels in our home, we do dry a lot of clothes on radiators. Great product.
Tried one of these in our conservatory this winter.
Have found it just excellent. Still going after two months plus and the difference in condensation etc was immediate. No black marks, no damp . Very light scent but still would have preferred none at all.
It works! Even though I live in a newly built flat and open the windows regularly, at least once a day, and there is ventilation in my flat, this buddy collects so much water I would say the plastic body feels a bit cheap and does not fit in all parts. Still, it does not affect the working process.
I first bought this in a local shop and it works really well used it in my car and the windows were all clear the next day. I wanted another one and found it almost 5 cheaper on here!! Only con is that there can be a little spillage if it falls over. So make sure it’s secured or on a level surface.
Easy to set up and works well at a reasonable price
A friend has one of these in his flat which seems to work as it has helped dry out some appearance of mould, and it fills the room with a nice fragrance, so I decided to buy one for my garden office – only just opened it so cannot review how good it is but am confident it will be useful.
A bit disappointed when opening the actual product box (which is delivered in a larger Amazon box with paper padding), I found the Aero tablet has a chunk missing from it and a hole in the packaging! Would like a replacement tablet but no idea how to request for one as not found any seller contact details.
The dehumidifier was extremely easy to put together and started to work immediately. Easy visual of how much moisture it was taking out of the air and greatly reduced the condensation on our windows. However, it made me realize that we needed a greater level of moisture extraction to get the results we required so I had to buy an electric powered dehumidifier. But without these units I would never had know that and they are very effective and energy free. For less severe needs I would not hesitate but reccommend these dehumidifiers.
Although I still get a little condensation 95% is taken away . I live in a caravan and so condensation is extreme.
This worked really well I’m very happy with it and with the discounted price it was a total steal! Would absolutely recommend this to anybody it’s been a godsend.
A lot of the reviews on here say it doesn’t work, even in a small room. I must say in our 2×2 bathroom it worked (not sure how well is well) but the tank filled up and after 3months roughly I’m now replacing the tab. Saves me having to plug anything in and it’s easy to use. Not the most pretty thing in the world. Takes a while to get started but I have had no issues in it and I can’t smell the musky odour anymore. It won’t get rid of every single moisture particle but much better than expected in the grand scheme of things.
I actually has doubts how this would help and it isnt electrical. To my surprise it is simply amazinggg. My flat becomes really condensated, i literally get puddles of water on my window sills and water leaking down my windows. With this there is barely and water on my windows now. One is enough for my 1 bed flat. Only thing is it only lasted just over 1 month, I put it out Dec 23, had to put a new filter around same time in Jan. Filters arent that expensive so its fine and will probably only need it for winter months. Very pleased and recommend definetly.
Looks a bit cheap and gimmicky but has reduced the odour of damp in the cupboard under my stairs. I did not expect it to do anything else so I am delighted.
We’ve been suffering from black mould in the corners of the bedroom and my daughter had a similar problem at her flat so she bought two first they worked so well for her we bought the same we had to get the mould off first but it’s cured the problem no more mould for us fantastic I’d used the ceramic egg type but they aren’t a patch on these babies fab.
Easy to use and prevents condensation and damp in my room.
A bit weird initially. The cake reminds me of a urinal cake but I did as directed and within a few days, I could see moisture collecting in it.
It’s been so good, I’ve bought 2 more. They cost a little more than those packs of 5 or 10, but these have worked so well for me
Orderd this a month ago and didn’t think much of it it was easly to assemble as soon as I put it on the bedroom window sill you could see it working very quickly definitely worth the money. Iv just orderd some refills exactly a month after receiving my first item
Seems to be working fine, not been coughing so much.
This is much better than buying an expensive dehumidifier that’s going to cost a fortune in electricity. I have two of these now and it is very effective at getting rid of unwanted condensation that I get in the cold months in my kitchen. It’s completely eliminated it and I can see the liquid rising. Definitely recommend
I feel like there were a lot of mixed reviews, but I find these UniBond Aero’s work brilliantly. We live in an old small converted chapel. To say I am at war with keeping moisture out is an understatement. I’ve tried numerous other pots and bag-type moisture collectors/removers and still had to wipe the water from my windows each morning. Not any more! The disks included with this system are substantial. It’s been two weeks and the disks don’t seem to have diminished. Don’t get me wrong, I still get some condensation on my stained glass window, but not the water that used to drip onto the sill. I’m really so grateful to have found this de-humidifier system.
This product is brilliant, the mouldy smell has gone and the product brings results as specified on the packaging.
There a lot better than salt for damp in caravans
Was sceptical but it really does work my dad really struggles with dampness in his flat we tried a few things then seen this and thought we would gove it a try
Absolutely amazing works an absolute trea
So far a fantastic product. It came packaged well , you have to put it together yourself as it comes in three pieces, a little bit fiddly but not too bad. I’m quite surprised how quick it starts to work, I just hope it lasts 3 months like it says.
I use this in my shed where I’ve got budgies and it’s excelle
Much better than the cheap 1’s that don’t last very long. You can easily see when you need a new tab. Different tab smells are a nice touch. you notice the smell for a couple of days then get nose blind I guess but still a good idea. I found I couldn’t get all the tops to sit flush with the bottom container (I’ve got 6 of these) but it still works effectively. There’s still condensation on my windows but it has reduced and I can see the moisture it’s collecting
This is quite a good gadget if you suffer with condensation. Works relatively well but it is not a complete solution as my windows are still damp (just not as bad as before).
The unit itself is easy to use but is quite bulky and obtrusive. The absorbent material itself is a large and quite heavy block that sits inside the unit. They are quite pricey and although the packaging says they can last up to 30 days, I have found they generally breakup after about 2 weeks and are not as effective.
Make your own own choice as to whether the refills are value for money but personally I would only purchase them when on offer to make it worthwhile
Easy to use, put together in a couple of seconds, have used these before so I know these do the job and a great price. Arrived really quickly too. Really happy customer.
It was easy to use and works. The only thing I don’t like is the smell. I am using one in a kitchen cupboard storing saucepans and it smells a bit like toilet cleaner which isn’t ideal
Use these to absorb the moisture in our bedrooms. Have large bay windows and the condensation accommolates. Works really well.
These worked to clear my windows of condensation will be continuing to use with the easy to obtain and fit refills
Quite hard to get overly enthusiastic about this item. It’s easy to put together basically put the block in then clip the lid on and it’s ready to use. Works as it should capturing excess moisture and when full theres a small spout making it easy to dispose of the liquid.
Had them a week all good so far filling up nicely. No problems at all
Got this product to use it in a corner where I constantly get humidity marks, it’s been there only two days and it’ already doing the trick. It’s the second one I buy (the other one is in the bathroom) and I’m very satisfied with the results.
I’m ecstatic to report this works! I have a small room where the previous owner decided to block the only air vent in the room. Firstly, it is vital to know what dampness affects your room- mine from awful condensation. Being my sceptical self, I left this as a last resort. A few days after, with enormous relief, I can say the room no longer suffers!
This product is essentially a non-electric dehumidifier, working with the wonders of salt. Unibond keenly expresses this is no usual salt product but a patented one with a unique design and effectiveness. The tub can be put together in seconds with the blue side going face down, before sitting upright in the container.
The dehumidifier has been so effective, I still find it surprising say no more dampness! I used this for a small room, housing a small double bed. The room has suffered dreadful condensation this winter, sweating from the window to the entire back wall, growing black mould all across. I tried various ‘tips’ to clean and prevent- even placing bowls of salt. Yet, the dampness soon returned. I gave the room another clean and this time placed the single Unibond unit inside, above cupboard and sceptically waited. Without changing anything more, a few weeks on, the dampness has not returned! All the while the wet, cold weather has dragged on.
For the duration, this lasts, four months, and the price for preventing far pricier damage, I think the price is very fair. It is important to also read the fine print and not push the limits here for an electric free dehumidifier. This covers a 20m squared area and will not soak up a sauna. For most, this will serve the usual, average small bedroom.
Unibond, following their trusted quality, have delivered a product worthy of appreciation.
When I bought my house the surveyor said there was damp in a cupboard in the dining room and there was a strong damp smell. I got a specialist round who said there was no damp but recommended this dehumidifier to get rid of the smell. I was sceptical but two months on the smell is gone. I’ve been amazed how much water the unit collects in one cupboard – it definitely works.
Great price and they work, sold for 15.99 each in a Supermarket that has a slogan, every little helps.
I bought this for our caravan it does a good job
I bought to try and help with condensation when im drying washing indoors. i found it a bit fiddly to assemble, its a good size, it does work but depends on your environment as to how much blue water you get in the container.
Its not the cheap flimsy ones or the really expensive one. Its pretty easy to put together and does the job however works better in my small bathroom than in my medium sized bedroom. It’s ideal for small spaces and it does work, however it does not last 3 months as suggested. Mine only lasted a month and then time for a refill
Thought this was a bit expensive, but it lasts longer than the disposable ones I use. Certainly collects a lot of water, my windows used to run with water, but have greatly improved. I. Going to order another machine for my other bedroom.
These came last week and were well packed and are ready to use they are very easy to easy to assemble and use and have big tank for water and a tablet inside to help with mold and moisture in your house or rooms so a great buy thanks
I have used this in my small porch, which in winter is very-damp. This product does work , but I still have wet walls. This product would suit a dryer environme
I bought this moisture absorber after experiencing damp in a small storage cupboard. I’ve used the smaller, cheaper disposable ones before but they never did much, so I was sceptical when ordering this (but willing to try anything to help keep the damp away.) The photo shows how much moisture it has collected in just 1 week, I’m very impressed! Now ordering another one to use in the bedroom on top of the wardrobe!
Easy to use and should of bought it years ago
Was very surprised how effective it is. No more steam during the shower and no more moisture in the bathroom!
These are great value for money and like the fact that from time to time on Amazon that they have these on special offer.
Definitely worth the purchase
