I dislike the hinged foot arrangement – it’s difficult to get it tightened enough. Otherwise, it’s great.

I bought this camera after reading reviews from the many other types on Amazon.
It was bought to enable Me to keep an eye on Henry the hedge hog who has been resident in My garden since last October.
Video quality is excellent as are the photos, It was easy to set up and has given Me endless hours of entertainment.
So Yes I would def recommend it.
Pretty good. Tricky that it sometimes picks up leaf movement rather than wildlife in our windy garden.

GARDEN VISITORS
I bought this to replace a previous one which developed a fault. I chose this as it had better buttons for operating and setting up the camera. The menu is easy to follow. I used the still setting as I wanted a photo to use as the opening screen on my I pad. the first night out I got my wish several good clear shots of our hedgehog, plus some daytime ones of a couple of birds. They demonstrate the excellent quality obtained with this camera. price is good and I recommend it. it arrived as promised next day.
Brought my night garden to life
I bought 2 of these cameras and I am loving seeing all the wildlife that visits my garden. The camera has worked perfectly at capturing the mating antics of a pair of hedgehogs while I am tucked up in bed. The 2nd camera is monitoring my nesting Blue Tits and I can’t wait to see them fledge – courtesy of my new camera. The camera is perfect – I just need to find the optimum location and sensitivity so the recording is triggered by next doors kids!!
The manual is clear and the camera easy to set up.
Issues??? 3 small ones – a) the USB lead to connect to my laptop is rather flimsy so not sure how long it will last before I need to replace it. b) The USB socket is very tight to the bottom of the casing which makes it difficult to plug in and c) A pity there isn’t a trouble shooting section to the manual. My most recent recordings had a red/pink tinge – I am assuming that this indicates low battery but I will have to see later tonight.

Pretty good but uses battery power quicker than it claims. They still last a reasonable time though
Great little camera
I didn’t really expect this camera to be much good as the price was so reasonable. It is a nice size, it looks and feels very robust and only needs 4 batteries (unlike a lot of others which need 8 batteries!). The set up is simple and the instructions clear so no frustration when you receive it. You can see anything you have captured without taking the camera down but if you remove the card and play it on the big screen of a desktop the picture quality is excellent. I am really pleased with it so far and so glad I purchased it. I shall enjoy seeing what uses our garden in the evenings and overnight.

Really excited to get this – the reviews are really good. Just ever so slightly dismayed to find I had neglected to realise I needed to get a micro SD card so was chaffing at the bit to get going until I’d ordered this!. You have to format the card first before you get going. The camera came really promptly and really good instructions. Comes with two methods of attachment so you can screw it to something or secure it with the supplied band. we tried it last night on a drainpipe and managed a few shots of our resident hedgehogs and a few of the cat! Now we know how easy it is to work the plan is to screw it on a tree opposite our hedgehog den and watch the comings and goings and I might put it really close to my bird feeding station in the day to get some close ups of those. Lots to try!. Lovely images, really clear. Excited to explore the possibilities and see what else is happening in the garden at night. I’m really impressed, it seems a lot of camera for the money and seems really well made. Definitely recommend.

We wanted a camera to see the wildlife that visits our garden and what they get up to. This nifty little box does the job nicely. We have screwed the included mounting bracket to an old tree stump and the camera attaches to this. It’s weather proof so can be left outside when it rains without issue. It has many settings for recording and photographing based on time or motion detection and it works at night. The first time we used it we saw a wood pigeon in the day and a fox during the night. The second day we saw the fox again (this time during the day light) and a squirrel. We might try and place it out in the woods at some point to see if we can spot something bigger like a deer. I would recommend this camera for a bit of fun or curiosity. It’s kind of like opening a present when you look at the contents of the SD card, you never know what you are going to get.
Easy to use hunting camera
Bought to see our night visitor (hedgehog) quite easy to set up great pictures and video on the computer bought a card reader that fits ipad and laptop. Has fixed mounting and a strap so can put it up anywhere. So far no problems you just have to keep adjusting position and set the snap shot and video time that suits you, very pleased.
Needs a LOT of batteries
This little, well priced device has so many great features but I think the fact it takes 8 batteries really detracts from its overall performance. Image quality etc. are fine, comes with a useful stand and an fixing strap. Remember, you have to buy a micro SD card as well as 8 batteries before you can use it.
Left it out in rain, did its job with no worries. Bought as a present and my partner is very please with it. It’s only me moaning about the batteries 🙂
Fantastic product and hugely impressed
I bought this product after reviewing a number of other similar items on Amazon but the majority of the reviews for this one were very positive, so I decided to buy. I was not disappointed. Very easy to set up and get going after formatting the micro SD card (purchased separately). The camera menu was very easy to navigate through and to select different photo resolutions and video lengths as well. Nothing much on the first night as I had set the camera a bit too high up on a post. The second night, after the height readjustment, we discovered a lovely hedgehog was a local resident and was moving about our garden. The quality of the photo and video was superb and the small children of our next door neighbours were mesmerised with it. I cannot recommend this product highly enough.
Love this product. My children wanted to see what was in our garden during the night and they weren’t disappointed. It captures a lot of detail and is so easy to use. Battery life has been awesome so far as well.

Really happy with this camera. I have quite a few trail cameras and have to say this is the best one yet. Everything is beautifully clear. I am particularly pleased with a well set out book of instructions which were easy to understand and informative.

Not as difficult to use as I though
For just under 40. this is a ‘value for money product’. Easy to set up and easy to use. The most simple way to view your recorded activity is through your TV set. My only criticism is the lead to TV or Computer is too short; the rest is fine.

My husband bought me this for Christmas so that I can watch the hedgehogs. I had a rescue hoglet all winter and wanted to be able to see if he keeps returning to my garden once released. We set the camera up a couple of nights ago and it’s lovely to see the hedgehogs coming and going and I’m pretty sure I saw my Fat Harry Hoglet, he is massive after being fed all winter. The quality of the video is sharp and clear. It’s easy to set up recording, you can watch on the screen of the camera any recordings but my husband and I like to watch them together on the laptop so we take the SD card out and watch. I’m very pleased indeed, best Xmas present ever.
Bought this on the advice of my sons school teacher. He’s currently doing a school nature project and she said one of these would be a great buy even to use as a hobby.
It takes great pictures, very sharp in my opinion. The motion sensor has no lag as far as I can tell and we love it. SD card and batteries are not included so I bought an SD card, eight rechargable AA batteries and a charger.
I can confirm it is totally waterproof as we have left it outside in the rain all night and it was bone dry inside when we checked. We tied it around a tree stump using a strong strap which was included in the box.
It comes with a comprehensive multilingual user manual. Very easy to set up but we’re still playing around with all the settings.
After I transfer to PC, I use VLC player to watch the videos with no issue. Video imaging is non-stuttering and clear. The infrared night vision is of superior quality; stunning.
It’s clearly made of robust materials and is extremely sturdy. I’m sure we’ll continue to have lots of educative fun with it.

I purchased this for a camping trip as I want to record the small animals we sometimes hear moving near the tent at night.
The camera itself is very well built for domestic and amateur usage – the watertight case and camo style cover is both practical and looks good.
Its light to carry too, even with the batteries in its not bulky or cumbersome and it really does blend in well when in the woodlands.
I was a bit daunted by the fact that it takes up to 8 batteries but with a stated battery life of up to 6 months – depending on intensity of usage I guess, then that is really good.
As with most things, the cost of rechargeables is pretty low now so there’s no real issue.
It is very simple to set up…just insert a micro SD card and batteries, turn it to setup and configure the resolution/shot timer etc, its all pretty intuitive and simple to operate.
The manual is quite helpful, but with a bit of trial and error, you will get some very good results.A street view with lights produces a slightly grainy effect as the camera deals with the low light rather than lack of light, but in total darkness and daylight, it really does perform well.
The initial results are really good and I cant wait to get to use it on site!
Supplied accessories are a tripod mount, fence mount and a belt to strap it around a tree should you so desire.

I’ve wanted one of these for a while having recently moved to a new house with a bigger garden which seems to be abundant with birds and wildlife. So I bit the bullet a few weeks ago although my first attempt was a bit disappointing as I bought one from another seller which had great reviews but the data always corrupted when writing to the SD Card. So i returned this and bought this one – saving 10 in the process!
The unit looks really nice – a pleasant green camouflage pattern and feels fairly sturdy with the option to fasten by both a strap and a screw on plate.
The image quality is fantastic for photos and while a little less resolution for videos is still very very good for the price. I’ve already captured a few photos of the regular bird visitors feeding on suet treats. I’ve since moved the camera around and waiting on some nighttime visitors (fingers crossed!).

Bought as a Christmas present for someone who has everything. Not a nature enthusiast but thought we’d give it a try. One week in and we’ve caught a fox outside the chicken pen. The image is so clear. Triggers with movement – one night a branch moved all night which the camera captured hours of footage of. Easy to set up, easy to view the footage.

Fantastic bit of ki
I have started helping a local hedgehog rescue in the last 6 months and my first release happened a few months ago in my garden where he was found. I’ve been very curious to see whether it’s basil (hedgehog) eating the food or local cats so got this. With the winter being so mild so far hedgehogs are not properly hibernating. I set the camera up, using the 8 batteries, facing where his hedgehog house is and left it. I came back the next am to have a look but no hedgehog but cats eating the food! It was useful as now i’ve made a cat proof feeding station for Basil and thanks to the camera I can see he is indeed using it!!
It’s a fantastic bit of kit and i’m a thinking about another for my front wildlife garden.
We bought this to find out what wildlife we have in our garden. Although we looked at WiFi camera devices etc that could download straight to an IOS or Android device, these were way more expensive. As such, to we bought this model and simply take the camera inside to download the pictures. To do this, we bought a card reader that plugs straight into an iPad and them imports to your Photos… very easy to do. Thus far, we have captured mice, rats, squirrels and various birds… no illusive hedgehogs as yet. Picture quality is good and the motion detection works fine. In the menu system there are quite a few different options so you can configure the camera to suit your needs. All in all, very happy with this camera. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles that other cameras offer but it’s price is very good value. The only reason I have not given this 5 stars is that I find the camera stand to be of a lesser quality than the camera, a minor observation; in an ideal world I would have preferred to get a flexible leg type stand. Regardless I would happily recommend this camera to others, it really is quite good and I think it’s listed at a very fair price.

Couldn’t ask for more
I waited a while before posting this review until I had some useful experience to report and I have to say almost a month in I’m really impressed with the camera. I have only used the video capture facility rather than stills but for the price I couldn’t ask for more. My neighbours have chickens and I had suspected they had a rat problem as I’d spotted the occasional rat on our land and boy did this camera prove it! The image quality in daylight and on night vision is really good. The motion detection is quicker to activate in daylight than at night which has resulted in some blank clips or clips of the back end of a rat running away in the night! The camera has been out in all weathers including heavy rain and sub-zero temperatures and it’s functioned perfectly. In the rain the lense can sometimes be obscured by rain drops so I wonder if some sort of shield could be moulded into the casing above the lense but that’s a minor quibble to be fair. Overall I’m really happy and at this stage I would but the product again if I needed to. I’ll update this review if I experience problems.
I rate this as one of the best things I have ever bought for good value for money.

Great Value Wildlife Camera.
I bought a couple of these cameras over a year ago and have had a lot of use out of them. Living in the country, we are surrounded by wildlife and it’s fascinating to know what’s going on around the house, especially at night. I have recorded badgers ( see photo) , foxes , rodents and several feral cats on the move. Any unwanted human visitors would also be picked up but I’m pleased to say this has not happened as yet. The motion sensor will easily pick up mouse movements up to 5 metres away. Obviously night images and videos are in black and white but image resolution during daytime shots is really very good. It’s particularly useful at recording activity at nest boxes in the springtime. A set of 4 fully charged AA batteries will suffice for 3 or 4 nights of regular activity, but the camera will accept 8 AAs for prolonged usage. The build quality is good – mine have been used in all weather conditions without problem. ( The camera lens will not perform quite as well in driving rain or snow but that is to be expected ). I use a 32 gb micro sd card and view the images and videos on my Computer monitor for best results. After many hours of enjoyment I thoroughly recommend this piece of equipment for anyone interested in wildlife.

I’ve been a wildlife photographer for many years now and have always wanted to capture images at night time.
I couldn’t believe the quality of both the still image and video footage.

I’ve been a wildlife photographer for many years now and have always wanted to capture images at night time.
I couldn’t believe the quality of both the still image and video footage.

Really good camera for multi us, both wildlife and security. The pictures are clear, even on night mode. The camera is easy to set up and has options for attachment depending on where you want to put it and no glow for the infra red is really good. Very happy with my purchase and delivery was super fast.

Good little camera, relatively easy to set up. You need to play around a bit with the speed and size of photos / videos taken. Have managed not only to catch a neighbours cat nosing around, but a small field mouse and our intended target, a hedgehog, to make sure they’d found their new house, so many of them having been displaced by new houses! Pictures transferred easily to PC, I had an initial problem of downloading / transferring my pictures to my iPad, however I now save to my One Drive & can access the content from any of my devices. The company were very polite & quick to offer assistance ensuring that I could get the best use out of the camera.
Effective for both photo stills and video, you can choose either or both, and you can control when any such movements are recorded Eg. Only recording from dusk to dawn as specifically looking for nocturnal animals. Would certainly recommend, hoping to use ours over the summer to watch the birds nesting in the garden, before switching back to the hedgehogs! Highly recommended.

I bought this as a last minute birthday gift for a gadget lover. It arrived quickly in a few days and the recipient has tried it indoors and it works fine. We will see how it goes outdoors. You do need a card to record on to so if buying as I gift I would suggest getting one too.

This is a rugged trail camera, with clear instructions on how to set up. Straight out of the box I was able to insert the batteries, go to the menu, set the date and time, and format the micro-SD card. Then I set the sensitivities recommended in the book, and was able to set the camera up in the garden near my squirrel feeder, and to my pleasant surprise I got an ace video of the squirrel feeding. This is one of the best investments I’ve made – I’m an amateur photographer and had to sit for hours to get such shots – but not any more. Next I’ll be taking it to a tree where I know that a Kingfisher sits. Thoroughly recommended.

Used this to film s badger sett and had great success. Be sure to use good quality batteries to avoid issues.

Excellent very good product and amazing service will definitely be recommending these guys when ever i m asked as i’m sure everyone will want one when they see it!!!! Camera is really good for the money didn’t expect such good resolution with this price tag, really easy to setup – I used an existing as card which I had to format first but it’s great and the videos itself aren’t too big so you don’t have to change it so often. My son loved testing the motion detection walking past the camera first and then jumping into view from the sides – motion detection is fantastically quick and has already shown a few squirrels and a fox that visits our garden frequently – can’t recommend enough!! Seller was amazing answered any questions before buying the item they was very knowledgable and polite. Item came on time in a lot less packaging than most amazon items. Well worth the money that I paid now hoping to get another for the front of the house which is where I ve seen all kinds of animal tracks – looking forward to find out what animal left them. AAAAA*****

I brought the camera indoors set it up looking at a pile of CD’s, and it took 1609 pics!. I emailed [email protected] and received an instant reply. After following their instructions (as in the user manual) still no better. The support team (Joy) concluded that the camera was at fault and sent me a replacement immediately. I look forward to getting many more great pics and vidios.

Good wildlife camera
Great camera. Didnt set it up correctly initially but on second try worked well. Need trial and error to get the right video length for the things I am watching but other wise I’m happy. First trial outside tonight so hopefully I will see the wildlife in the garden. Shame there is no direct cable to phone to view and save to it for future viewing.
An excellent camera and must be one of the best value for money trail camera's available.
The camera arrived promptly and was well packaged. It was smaller than my last trail camera but it is very well made and appears very robust. The instruction booklet is very clear and easy to follow and setting it up was easy.
I was really impressed by the night time video quality which was much better than my last trail camera which cost three times the amount. The night mode lighting is particularly impressive with nice even illumination across the whole screen.
You will need to purchase a micro SD card as there is no internal memory.
It has a good internal viewing screen which means you can view and edit photo’s and video without having to connect it to a computer while in the field.

Lovely camera for the price.
I purchased this camera based on other customers reviews. As of yet I haven’t set it up but on the whole the camera is well made, sturdy and very good value. I have given 5 stars across the board even though mine is not in situ yet because I’ve seen the quality of picture’s from other reviewers. I’m sure I won’t be let down. Once it is set up I hope to capture the 2 hedgehogs that are currently feeding in my garden and will be updating my review with either video or still pictures. Delivery was super quick and the item as described and more. I highly recommend both the seller and the camera.
We bought this to see what animals visit our garden during the night. WE bought this model after reading the reviews, which were all good. The camera came promptly, and we found the instructions easy to follow and the camera easy to use and set up. It comes with straps and an adjustable stand that can be screwed in place onto a convenient surface, and a USB lead. WE set it up on our small camera tripod, which fits the camera perfectly. You can set (adjust) everything that is necessary to record what suits you, image quality, time of recording for video, time lapse between stills, and so on. Image quality in daylight and night is very good. We have used some fairly ancient rechargeable batteries and they work fine for several nights in a row. It wasn’t quite clear in the instruction book how to format a memory card, but this is listed in the Menu at the end scrolling right down, and pressing OK with that selected does the trick. We are most pleased with this purchase
With internal display
I had similar product before but get stolen from back forest. Had to buy new one. The main difference I noticed this one has internal display where you can watch and see video and picture captured on memory card. Without removing memory card.
Well made, strong strap on it.
Uses 8 AA size battery but I noticed it also works fine even with 4 batteries, I believe if you put 8 batteries it will last quite long time.
I have used 32gb memory card and it accepted without any fault , my old use to take only upto 16gb.
Has user friendly menu, a lot of settings on it, can be change to personal need.
I will use mine this time on back Conservatorium to monitor activity going on back garden. As a security camera on spots where my main camera misses.
