Tips for Battery Maintenance
- It is recommended to charge devices below 100W in daily use.
- Please keep a certain amount of power when not using the battery for a while.
- According to the Panasonic / Samsung Battery Specification, store the battery at the appropriate temperature and humidity.
- When the gauge is left one bar, the battery should be stopped working and be recharged.
- The battery needs a little cooling before you get it out of your device plate and put it on a charger.

So far my results have been great and are on par with larger, 99Wh batteries. Assuming the larger batties need to space within the case but this Moman battery had one additional d-tap port of the bigger counterpart and yet the footprint is smaller.

This Moman V Mount Battery works great. It is a well constructed, solid product. It is also the perfect size, with a small footprint but packs enough power for my needs. The battery life light indicators are really convenient. Plus the battery has 2 D-tap and 2 USB outputs making it very handy and functional. A great product to keep my camera charged and its able to charge my phone plus other gear too. Definitely Recommend!

Amazingly small, solidly built, plenty extra ports
The Moman V-Mount battery is the latest evolution of extra-capacity batteries that keep getting smaller and lighter. Especially for portable products like the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera that can’t run long on their small internal batteries, the Moman’s small form factor is vital on-the-go. You might need to buy a D-Tap cable that terminates in a plug that works with your camera, but after that, Moman gives you everything you’d need (including an AC charger), with bonus ports for additional accessories. Not only are there two D-Tap power ports, but also two USB power ports, and the usual V-Mount pins for direct connection to V-Mount modules. And Moman managed to fit a battery life indicator with a button you can press to see how much is left.
For my tests, I used the battery on a 1×1 LED light panel and it ran for almost two hours. Charging seems to take about twice as long, at most. In the space and weight that used to be taken up by one battery, you can get two of these and feel confident for a whole day’s shoot. Highly recommended!

La durata eccezionale ed comoda per lunghe sessioni di riprese in esterne. La caricare residua si pu controllare utilizzando il pulsante posto sotto i 5 led laterale. Per caricarlo dovrete per acquistare un alimentatore a parte: il caricatore V-Mount e caricabatterie D-tap non sono inclusi ma si possono trovare facilmente a prezzi onesti.
palesemente un prodotto rivolto ai professionisti: robusto eppure leggero in relazione alle sue capacit (pesa solo 530gr ma l’autonomia fa davvero paura, mi ha permesso di lavorare per diverse ore senza l’ausilio di prese elettriche) e consente di caricare un quantitativo esagerato di apparecchiature se confrontato con le sue dimensioni. Inoltre pu viaggiare insieme a voi sui voli nazionali e internazionali, se per esempio avete l’esigenza di effettuare lavori fuori sede, poich rientra nel carico consentito dalle compagnie aeree. La qualit dei materiali davvero ottima e le performance finora mi hanno stupito; spero davvero che il sistema intelligente integrato permetta alla batteria di durare molto a lungo!

There’s also different dummy cables for cameras that you can simply connect to this for longer battery life. It really makes filming longer possible.
One negative is it doesn’t include a cable to charge this device, so you need to buy that separately!

The Moman V Mount Battery works great! The battery is light and compact to reduce weight and size. The battery was used on a V Mount Battery Plate while the battery powered the Ninja V and the plate was powering both the Sony a7iii and the Holland Mars 400. With this setup, I was able to get 2 1/2 hours of runtime. I used this on an interview and on a concert shoot.
Not only the great things about the battery is the 2 Dtaps and 2 usb slots, the battery indicator shows the battery in 4 green lights. Also, as the battery level gets low, the green light will gradually appear less to let you know where the battery level is currently and it is very accurate.
I don’t see anything wrong or bad about this battery because the build and overall quality meets the expectation. I would only add that if there was a 190w version of this, I would totally buy it!
Worth the money!
This battery was exactly what I was hoping it’d be. It’s small and lightweight but packs plenty of power. I was able to run my client monitor and wireless receiver for a full shoot day on this battery. Balances perfectly on my EVA1 kit as well and powers my BMD VA12G 5″ monitor/recorder for 6-8 hrs. The two USB-A and two D-tap outputs give a lot of flexibility for power usage. Just be sure to get a D-tap or V-mount charger (no USB charging options).
If you’ve used the awesome NANO One, you’ll feel right at home with this battery. It’s approximately the same size, but a bit thicker since it’s twice the power. Perfect travel/flight battery solution.

Definitely a perfect size battery! Not to big and not to small! Looks awesome on My rig. Only con I had was that my osee T7 monitor has 3000 nits. The battery eat up a lot of juice cause I had the monitor at full brightness. I would keep my monitor at a decent brightness or just throw on a NP battery to a avoid your battery from getting drained so fast. That being said 100% recommend this vmount battery you will not be disappointed.
This battery works great with the BMPCC4K
I am currently using this battery with a V-Mount plate to power my Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K, a reference monitor and a follow focus. While this battery might be smaller than many V-Mount batteries, this one can handle all this setup without issue and for a long time. While I don’t have the specific amount of time I can use this battery without stopping, I can tell it has powered my rig throughout my small projects.
The battery has 2 USB ports which can be used to charge any equipments. I have charged my iPhone, a Bluetooth speaker, an Insta360 Go camera, and it still had plenty of power afterwards.
When it comes to charging it, it doesn’t come with any cable, so my suggestion is to get yourself a D-Tap charger. I charged the battery today for the first time and it was fully charged in a couple of hours.
Overall I am very pleased with this battery.

Really like this V-mount battery. I have many different V-mount, different sizes and power…. This little guy packs a punch, especially for how compact it is! It is also very affordable for the power capacity. So far I used it to power my video monitor via D-tap, power my LED light via V-mount, and even to charge my phone via USB. The only update I would like to see in the future would be a version with a USB-C, so I can power my macbook when needed too. But for the price, you can’t beat it.

I haven’t ran these from full capacity to empty yet, so I don’t yet have any data to confirm how long they last under different situations, but I’d expect them to perform consistently with other 98 watt hour batteries. They are, as expected, TSA-approved and support D-tap and USB. Moman: Power 99 V-lock Battery (99Wh/14.4V)
I have a couple of photographic equipment which require v-mount batteries and whilst I do have an alternative method to use my NP-F batteries, I only have one adaptor plate, so thought it was about time to get an actual V-mount battery and I’m glad I did.
The ‘Power 99’ by Moman feels incredibly robust and made of high quality. The battery is roughly half the size of a building brick and is advertised to weigh in at 530g.
What I really like about this battery is the multiple uses I can get from just one unit:
* V-mount: Allows direct connect with compatible V-mount devices, such as one of my main photography lights. I love how secure the battery is when mounted.
* D-Tap: Using an appropriate D-Tap cable (sold separately), there are plenty of devices this can power up. I utilise the D-Tap method for my Rotolight Neo 2. Also, there are two D-Tap ports available.
* USB-A: There are two USB ports available which can be used to charge devices such as smartphones etc…
Another nice feature is the LED power meter so you can get a rough idea of how much power is left, so you’re less likely to be caught off-guard.
It’s very important to note that this battery does not come with a charger which is clearly stated in the description; I don’t think the brand ‘Moman’ manufacture their own charger, so I ended up ordering one from a different company.
Overall, I’m extremely pleased with this battery. It holds a lot of power inside and gives me a variety of power options in one unit.

This battery powered my pocket 6k pro along with the ninja V monitor for 3hrs 30min. I think this a great value for the price. and size. I love it and will be getting some more.

This was just the battery I was looking for my cinema camera build. Compact, a good amount of power, and it perfectly balances my camera for handheld shooting scenarios. I added it to a quick release plate and when I am done shooting it, does not take up a lot of storage space (also important to me). Highly recommend it.

Compact and Lasts Long
I got the nano one and decided to try the Moman version. I was blown by its quality and price and also how long it lasts longer than the Nano one version. it looks and feels of premium quality I must say and would definitely recommend this battery for DSLR to full professional cine cameras. Gret product from Moman.
I haven’t had these batteries for too long, but I can tell they will last many years to come. They seem well made, with solid ports and no creaks or rattles.
I was skeptical, but I have grown to really like their size. I thought there would be a compromise in power, but they were able to power my 17″ director’s monitor (60W high power draw) no problem for over an hour. 98Wh is plenty for my main use case, on my Blackmagic Pocket 6K Rigs. Here, they offer 2 advantages over my previous batteries. Because they have 2 d-tap and 2 usb ports I no longer need to attach a d-tap splitter, which saves weight. Second, because the batteries are so short I don’t have to move them to see/adjust settings on the rear display of the camera. My previous batteries were too tall and blocked the monitor much more.
Overall, I really like these batteries and plan on buying more. I just wish they made a compact charger to go with these!
A great smaller v-mount battery
This is exactly the battery I was looking for with my run and gun GH5S setup. Pair this with a nice v-mount plate and I can power my camera, field monitor and follow focus. It’s smaller size is much more light weight but of course the tradeoff is less battery life. For me this is the perfect size for a more mobile solution.
I haven’t had it very long but so far so good. The reported battery life seems fairly accurate so far. As with any battery time will tell how long it will keep it’s max charge after repeated use.
One note this battery does not come with a charging cord so make sure you pick one up.

I’ve been a camera operator for over 20 years and it’s great to find a battery that is perfect in size and weight for a field monitor plus other operations. It has amazing capacity and runs devices for hours. The USB ports are handy for charging remotes, cameras etc. Charge display works brilliantly. Would highly recommend this product for any kind of camera work.
