This will stop my partner and I from arguing when I want to burn documents in the garden, that I no longer need, that have our personal details on. Seems easy to use but have to run the roller over several times before you can not see your details. No issue otherwise.

This is brilliant. I roll horizontally and vertically for extra protection though maybe don’t need to, but this product is saving me loads of time. I used to shred paperwork, receipts etc, pick labels off parcels, rip addresses off catalogues to shred. No more of that. It’s small, effective and easy. I will still shred really important papers but day to day, this is fantastic.

Perfect tool for the job
This is perfect for “deleting” confidential info off packaging. Usually just one roll (sometime a couple more is necessary depending on the type of label/ink used) is enough. I used to spend a lot of time and probably a helluva lot more ink using a sharpie tying to scrub out our info off packages. This is so much more convenient and efficient and I’m glad it’s refillable. I’d definitely recommend it!

A little disappointed
I got this as I’m fed up of having to rid my personal details from packages and letters etc and thought this would be a perfect product for doing just that. Only it’s pretty pointless as some surfaces aren’t good to use it on. If the surface is even slightly glossy, you can see your details right through the ink, which defeats the purpose of this tool. I now don’t pull out this product to use so much now, as I end up having to spend more time trying to hide my details than I did before. Such a shame because I had high hopes for this.

Great wee roller which comes with refills. Makes the chore of shredding almost redundant as covers all details really well allowing you to bin receipts, statements etc with confidence. Bought one for my friend who was so impressed that she recommended it to her sister who also purchased one. Handy, effective and a very good buy. Great idea and fun to use too!

Works well on certain items
Well packaged. Simple and easy to use design. As it says in the instructions it will only work well on certain types of paper and to cover certain types of ink.
It worked really well on till receipts. It is a sensible width that easily covered bank card and transaction details in one easy roll. The ink dries quickly. On receipts the information was completely secure.
Also worked well on doctors prescription spare page with repeat prescription info. All hidden with one pass.
I initially tried it on the address label on the Amazon packaging for this product. Looked good initially but as the ink dried the printed text shone through.
On many of the printed letter documents I found similar problem. The ink was absorbed in to the paper and left the text visible but slightly obscured underneath. I’d read someone else suggesting a perpendicular second pass over worked better. If looking to do a second pass (in whatever direction) make sure the ink has dried otherwise it’s smudges and makes the print underneath even more visible.
Also if covering large number of items in quick succession the ink starts to get slightly grey rather than black as depositing thinner layer. Just pop the lid on and leave for a minute or two and it’s ready to use properly again. Would be frustrating if dealing with large number of documents though!

Think one of the other brands for these devices has an oilier ink that might not be absorbed into paper as much, so may work on these documents better.
I think for some of my documents I might use this for important lines and then shred them too! But will definitely be using on all my receipts and then they can go in recycling!
