I’m very happy with this camera does what i want it to do good quality my only complaint would be mount hard to get off when mounted I can see it breaking someday although i don’t take it on & off all the time as its there for when I need it to then you would take it off to download the evidence. So it will probably last for sometime

fitted this to a commercial vehicle along with the Vantrue GPS mount and power lead. Works flawlessly, and does everything I wanted it for and more. parking mode is excellent. Picture quality superb. the software is a little flaky, but works. Recommended

i have owned hundreds of dash cams and they were all in one way of another naff and had down points, this is a stonking piece of kit and well worth every penny, my only suggestion is to buy the sat tracker base at the same time

This camera is all what you need day and night, special night mode inside of the cabin !
Looks a little bit expensive but believe me , deserve more for what this camera can do !

Good little camera, good picture quality, easy to set up and easy to install. It does the job nicely.
It has a good wide angle front and rear and easy to position correctly. Sticks to the screen nicely with its suction cup and has not fallen off so far.

It records and stores image files very conveniently and is of adequate sound quality, however it is a bit fiddley to handle, I have just got used to it but it could be better.

op quality dashcam with super fast next day delivery in Dublin. If this cam had cloud/wifi service this would have been top choice for taxi industry. Vantrue X3 supports wifi but with front lenses only. Would love to buy Vantrue dual camera again if they launch new product with high storage and cloud service because it will beat Blackvue.

Its a good item but the only downside is won’t delete the old videos automatically, which i have to format my card manually each time.

Expert quality from both cameras day or night, easy to use and a fast setup in a small attractive package thats childs play to install. I use this in my daily working life and it performs as well if not better then I had hoped for. A good price for the complete peace of mind it brings.

I have only been using this camera for a short amount of time. I have found the picture quality to be exceptional with both backwards and forwards facing cameras. This camera is very easy to set up especially if you are using the hardwire kit that can be purchased as an optional extra. If you are to be using the parking mode on this camera it is well worth hardwiring the camera into the cars fuse box.

This is the 3rd dash camera I have owned. The first one was a 30 cheap one, it was rubbish. Picture and the sound quality was average (what do you expect for a budget camera!) It would choose at random what it wanted to record and save, so threw it away. I then bought a budget forward and a rear-facing camera (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B06VW169ZW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1). It was better but the picture quality was awful and the sound of my engine distorted all the sound so playback was painful to watch and listen to.

I decided I needed to dig a little deeper in the pockets and buy something decent. This camera didn’t let me down.

Firstly, the wire is long enough to go all around the trim and get to the cigarette lighter (my previous one wasn’t long enough to go to the power supply I wanted to use) Install was easy to do, and I like the way that the power goes in to windscreen holder, rather than the camera (which means you can take the camera out of the car when you park, without worrying about unplugging wires and having them dangling down). This also means you don’t need to remove the memory card to save a clip to your computer, as you can just take the camera and plug it into your PC with the additional connector provided. Handy if you are not very good with fiddly mini SD cards or don’t have an SD card adaptor to connect to your PC.

The picture quality (both forward and rear-facing) is unreal, really cannot fault it at all. Importantly, the sound quality is amazing. (I’ve uploaded a video clip where I am driving with the roof down and music on) there’s no distortion due to the engine or the wind.

It’s a great piece of kit, and I wish I had invested in a more expensive dash camera ages ago. I also love the fact that if you want to save a particular piece of footage (say a near miss, crash or something of interest) you can just press one button and the camera saves that file to a separate section that will not be overwritten or deleted)

It’s more expensive than other budget cameras on Amazon, but honestly, it’s worth the money.

I’m going to buy another one for the wive’s car.

Very good camera for recording the road ahead while driving. It has the programming just right to switch on and off when starting/stopping the vehicle, or if selected, switching between parking mode/driving mode automatically. It’s file-saving and recording functions are designed well, no moments are lost (assuming a good quality Samsung memory card is used). All of the essentials work with this camera, it’s robust, operates within a huge range of -20 to +70 degrees centigrade.

Daytime recording is clear, night recording is adequate – but only while driving when the exposure is adjusted to a lit environment… night recording is poor in parking mode; it records cars going past, but you cannot read number plates – it’s grainy and the headlights and brake lights dazzle the over exposed lens. However, wIthout any glare, night recording is fine.

With both front and rear cameras working, the power consumption is a little high – I connect a power bank to spare the car battery when using parking mode for lengthy periods, an EasyAcc 20000maH power bank lasts up to 36 hours (with the GPS attachment also connected, bought separately).

I’ve found the rear facing camera to be of little use, it can’t see much out of the back window or the sides – the focal point and exposure are set to areas inside the car, so it can only see the passengers/empty seats clearly.

A 128GB card records approximately 12 hours safely, so I recommend a 256 GB memory card (not Sandisk apparently). The latest firmware allows recording in a 1-frame-per-second time-lapse mode to save space on smaller capacity cards, at the risk of losing some detail.

Speaking of firmware – Vantrue updates it regularly, all you need to do is copy the file to your memory card before inserting it; it installs automatically as soon as you switch the camera on, and conveniently deletes the file when done.

To factor in the cost of a 256GB memory card (or two, if you want to keep recording while viewing previous footage) and a portable power bank (again – two, you have to charge one while using the other) you could be adding 200.

The internal battery in this camera appears only to act as a giant capacitor to keep functions working for a short period after the power from the car is cut from the ignition.

Great dash cam. Innovative design with built in 2nd camera that can be used for rear viewing or add extra camera power for front viewing. Just lost a point for the charge cable. The 12V connector has a really bright blue luminous Led on the connector to show its is plugged in. Very distracting at night. I have the LED on mine covered with small piece of electrical tape to dull the brightness to what it should be. Don’t let this turn you off the product though, otherwise a great product.

Like the dash cam, early days however good quality video and sound, good lens viewing angles so interior lens covers half of front side windows then the rest of the interior and exterior (location beside mirror passenger side)-only concern is the battery drain (hard wired) with the parking sensor on….any advice/manufacturer comment greatly appreciated

Very Good quality Item. Extremely easy to set up. The rear camera films the inside of the cockpit – not the rear of the car. So it can show whether you were concentrating on the road or not.

I decided to purchase the Vantrue N2 Pro after watching YouTube “CabbieOO7” showcasing the device on his channel.

The camera comes with a windscreen mount which is very secure and has never fallen off my windscreen since securing it, you can also plug the USB cable into the mount which then provides the device with charge keeping it wire free.

The product doesn’t come with a micro sd card so i would recommend you order one at the same time when purchasing the van true pro.

A 128GB Micro SD Card gives me about a day and a half of capture time when working 8 hour UBER shifts (12 hours Full HD recording time)

The picture quality is pleasing and clear enough to read number plates from afar and the front facing camera provides a nice wide angle view so everyone in the car is visible.

On a clear day the front facing camera can see the rear window view which is helpful in the event of a rear ended accident. When it’s a rainy day you will only see the condensation on the back window.

Audio quality from the microphone is ok, if the car is moving at a high speed and has a loud engine noise it will be harder to clearly hear voices picked up from the internal microphone. I am yet to discover whether a external microphone can be plugged into the device which would give you much better audio quality.

As listed in the product description the device is capable of night vision which works very well and provides you with a clear image.

One thing i like about this product is the ability to turn of the LCD screen when the device is recording, this way it makes the device more discreet and less noticeable whilst driving.

I would highly recommend this product for any person who drives for a living and wants to keep themselves protected

Its a must have for a private hire/ uber/ taxi driver for the saftey of ur self AND THE PASSENGERS,( personally i think it should be mandatory to have cctvs in taxis/ uber ect , )
works perfectly, video quality is great, easy set up ,.
1…. setting the 64gb sd card to FAT32 is annoying ( it will not work if u dont)
2 THE SUCTION CUP RECENTLY KEEPS FALLING OFF ,I WILL NEED A NEW ONE

other than this its dash cam

It does everything it says it should. The picture quality is great and it is easy to use.
The only trouble is that I can see all the silly facial gestures and tics I make.
The night vision very good facing out and the cabin view as well.
Just can’t seem to get the sound to work but I’m not That bothered about that. Maybe I’ll ask the manufacturer?

After extensive searching I finally settled on this cam kit, well worth the search, very small cams both front and rear hide nicely behind mirror and rear centre brake light, picture quality is far better than I had expected even at night, although in certain areas like very dark lanes the rear cam is blind due to lack of light but front is very good as its lit by headlamps, both cams are good enough to read number plates but best viewed on a PC, the cam view angle is WIDE far wider than my previous cam, the monitor is very good, big enough to quickly view any incident, cam is very easy to set up with lots of options to choose from, I have mine hard wired via a battery monitor, would definitely buy again and I have recommended to friends and family.

Ordered this product last week and it arrived the next day. (my only grumble is that it was being sold for 40 less the next day as part of a lightning deal!).
After a lot of research I waaa tossing up between the nextbase dual and the vantrue dual cam. The nextbase was ahead in my decision for a long time mainly because of the zoomed rear camera therefore getting more detail out of the back window and less cabin. (I am a regular daily driver not an uber/taxi)
However after reading reviews the nextbase seem to be criticised by many people and I was not prepared to fork out such a large amount of money for a flawed camera.
So I went with the safe option as the vantrue had such incredible review. I have to say I am not disappointed. Footage is clear and license plates readable. Great 170 degree viewing angle. Audio quality is sufficient if you require it. Rear camera is good enough to record tail gaters and things going on around the car generally but not enough for license plate recognition. Love how you can use up to 256Gb memory – I am currently using the recommended Samsung evo at 128GB which is plenty!
Setup is easy and use is straightforward. Supplied cable is 10ft which was plenty for me to go around the trim and hide my wires. Thinking about buying a single front vantrue cam for my commercial van now!

Great little camera, it is being used in my work van as I drive around 600 miles a week, needed soemthing small so where ever I’m stopped to deliver to the camera isn’t too obvious to passers by! (thieves)
Day time quality is what you’d expect for the price range, but night time is surprisingly very good quality especially considering the whole overall size
Main let down for me was that it didn’t come witb a GPS receiver but you can get them separate if you want the speed / location in the video
Definitely worth getting if you are looking for small dash cam that won’t stick out like a sore thumb

Great little camera, shame no GPS mou

I didn’t know too much about dash cams until my wife had a run in with an insurance scammer and we were blamed. I started reading about them and realised there are many types. One thing I needed was parking mode – this turns on the camera even when the car is stationary. I had to get this hard wired using a kit I got from amazon (only about 10) to the battery to enable the parking mode feature and I’m glad I did. Picture quality is good and item looks and feels premium. Obviously I cannot comment on durability but it was easy enough to set up and use. I knew there was no GPS with this but was still a bit disappointed as I like the idea of knowing the speed and location etc but you can buy an add on if you need this. The item is well priced and competitive in terms of features and quality. Would I buy it again? Yes. I am going to add the gps to it though – I feel it makes it even better and so is worth it.

I have been very impressed with the video quality of this unit. Both cameras, front & rear, have excellent quality & keep up with motion without lagging as noticed on other manufacturers units. I would like to see a better interface on the software for this unit, but I am very impressed with the night mode features . This information could be very useful in certain situations.

Video quality to be excellent both front and rear facing as well as the Parking feature due to problems with bad drivers in the local area parking lots. I am much more comfortable knowing there is always a silent witness if something else should happen to myself or my family members while driving.

It would be great if they did include GPS kit for the price I’m paying .

Solid product, no regrets with purchase

The Vantrue N2 Pro is an excellent choice, giving excellent video and sound quality, with the option of driver facing recording at the same time as watching the road. With dash cams now you can’t prove you were not driving without due care, but you can with this model. I totally recommend the hard wire kit, clean and tidy install all for the price of an entry level competitor model. GPS Mount is optional if you require it, meaning you don’t have to spend the extra if you don’t need it. You won’t be disappointed!

It can be daunting choosing a dash camera these days as the variety of different models makes it very difficult. Then I saw this dash cam. There was a promotion on this product (lightning deal) for around 100 so i decided to give it go. Here are pros and cons of it. Pros: tube like design( what i was looking for), dual camera (in dual camera mode both work in 1080p, however it can be changed to a single front camera mode with a resolution of 1440p), good quality video, lightweight, really well packaged (feels premium), easy to instal and use, parking mode, emergency recording mode. Cons: high price at its current state and at this price range i would expect a gps module to be included (however, there is a promo from Vantrue).
This dash cam can also be hardwired to your car (optional) however, hardwire kit needs to be purchased separately. Overall, i am really pleased with this dashcam and my purchase. I recommend this product.

Overall great product which I recommend to those looking for a dash camera with dual lenses.

I looked at a lot of different DashCams, and glad I settled with this one.
The picture quality is fantastic, even at night, from both cameras.
I wanted a camera that would record both the front view and the back, and was thinking of a dash cam with a rear camera mounted in the boot, but didn’t want to run wires around the car. I’m glad I chose this!
The camera saves the front and rear videos as seperate files to make it easier.
The view from the read camera shows driver and passenger, the back seats, and you can also see out of the side windows slightly, but most importantly, out of the back window. Even at night!
You can buy a hardwire kit, but I have mine plugged into the USB slot of the car.
Very very happy with this camera, not sure why you have to buy the gps unit seperatly tho!

The N1 Pro is an excellent dash cam which is straightforward to install and simple to use. It comes with 2 usb cables one for cigarette lighter, one without, and the cigarette lighter has an additional usb port. The dash cam is smaller than expected and is in the attached photo. Is fits behind the rear view mirror very discreetly and the cable is long enough to reach the outlet following the passenger side past the glove box.

The camera records in 1080p/30 and takes a micro sd card / (not included). The image quality is very sharp and clean and smooth. The viewing angle is wide and clear. There is an overlay with date and time and custom text. Night footage is clear too. The camera attaches to the mount and is removable, the only downside is that it takes both hands and it’s quite hard to remove, but the attachment is quite solid though and there is no risk of it shaking or falling off during use.

The firmware upgrade was a simple process too, just download the latest firmware file off the website and drag the file onto the sd card, and when it boots up it install automatically. There are many options like parking mode, loop recording, sensor activation, all of which are standard for dash cam. A gps mount is available at an additional cost.

When plugged in, it can show up as a usb mass storage device or just power on normally. This makes it possible to have other uses too such as home monitoring.

Overall, this is a great value for money device and would recommend.

    Excellent dash cam

I’ve been looking for a dash cam for a while and I have tried a couple of cheap ones from supermarkets but the quality has not been that great. Saw this one and the positive reviews and purchased it. Simple and easy to use with small display screen to check the cameras are in the correct position. The power cable has a decent length to it so it would be possible to route it around the edge of the dashboard to keep it out of the way. I was really impressed that the top of the power cable as a spare USB socket so I can charge my phone at the same time. Playback via the device is clear but once connected to PC the quality really shows, I’ve been able to read number plates of cars going past with no problems. Can’t (and hopefully wont need to) comment on the shock sensor as I’ve not had any incident. Overall, I’ve been really impressed and will probably get another one for my other car.

    Really Impressed

A very good dash cam. Easy to use. Sound recording can pick up a voice from outside the car with the window down – Useful. It gives you piece of mind knowing an independent and unbiased witness is watching. The rear facing camera is only for the cabin area of the car but clearly shows if you did look or not or were paying attention. Provides small side view via the side windows. Can recommend this product. There are cheaper ones out there but you get what you pay for. I initially had a Nextbase Duo which came with good recommendations via independent reviewers but ours lasted months, initially the cable covering broke which left no support for the internal wires, then months later the whole item packed up. We have been using Vantrue N2 Pro for months now and is absolutely fine.

I am satisfied with the functions and ease of use. The video quality is good HD 1080p and clear enough for number plate recording. Rear camera gives nice and clear view of cabin and through rear and back side windows. Fast delivery by Amazon. One thing that could be improved is clipping the camera in and out of the mount it is quite stiff but possibly will get easier with use. Can’t comment on reliability as only received 2 days ago. Overall very pleased with this camera.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI have a number of different car cams but consider this to be the best. It has a very small footprint and therefore inconspicuous once placed on the windscreen and can easily be removed without disturbing the mount or wiring. If you have a second mount then it can easily be used on an additional vehicles if required. . Set up and operation is Easy – Peesy.

Be careful what memory card you use as the first one I tried ( Sandisk Ultra ) was incompatible and gave iffy results. I purchased a card recommended for car cams ( Sandisk High Endurance 32 Gb @ 11.93 from Amazon ) and have had first class results.

The Customer Service From Vantrue is second to none and they have been a company who have proved to me that the Customer as well as the products that they sell are equally important to them.

I highly recommend the camera and Vantrue the supplier.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI have been wanting a dash cam for some time now but I wanted something discreet and good quality.

I came across Vantrue N2 Pro Dual Dash Cam and was blown away at how good this is.

    Here are my thoughts below:

    Pros:
1: Packaging is premium and excellent. The Vantrue N2 Pro Dual Dash Cam comes secured in a thick foam insert within the box for maximum protection. Outer packaging is modern and no way making you regret the purchase.
    2. Vantrue N2 Pro Dual Dash Cam device is a a solid build quality material. Very robust.
    3. The display is clear and just the right size making it unobtrusive.
    4. Front lenses and screen come with screen protector film. Remove the lenses film before use.
    5. Internal cam has night vision and is very clear.
    6. The video quality is so good upto 2560x 1440p making it very clear for video and in no way pixelated thanks to the omnivision OV4689 sensor. In my opinion this is superior to other brands of dash cam using sony 4k sensor.
    7. The size of the unit is discrete for what it is. I mounted it below my rear mirror and is no way distracting. Fits well in my ford focus mk2.5 titanium and pretty easy to hide the power cable.
    8. The interface is pretty straightforward, nothing complicated.
    9. The suction mount is strong, doesn’t rattle and more importantly doesn’t fall off. Clean your windscreen with an alcohol wipe or similar before using. The suction pad also come protected with a clear film to protect from dust during storage/ packing.
    10. In the box you get a car charger and cable also.
    11. There is an inbuilt battery which lasts upto about an hour.
    12. You can quickly take still images, resolution is about 2mp.
    13. There is alot of features e.g. a parking mode using a built in g sensor in case your car is bumped.

    Cons:
    1. I struggled to remove the cam from the mount when attached to the car. It’s easy when not stuck on the screen but for some reason I struggle every time. Perhaps I just need more time to get used to it?
    2. The buttons when navigating the interface can be a bit cumbersome given where they are positioned.
    3. Would be nice if a GPS device was inbuilt. It supports an add on extra. There is no mention if a third party GPS device can be used e.g. Bluetooth version etc…

Overall as a video dash cam this is excellent. If you want high quality the Vantrue N2 Pro Dual Dash Cam meets my needs.

If you want a high quality dash cam, this is it!

I search more than 2 weeks for this cam!like taxi driver you must to record every time,in and out!this one is fantastic in both situations!for outside good quality and for inside(my opinion, with the IR sensor,is the best from the maket!you see very clearly what happened on the back seat in night condition, when the risk is bigger)!I’m happy with my purchase!

Absolutely love this dashcam. Its small, and i mean really small, so it doesnt bother me when im driving. Quick and easy buttons to save videos and/or take photos when any kind of event happens. Works off of my cars power outlet with plenty of cable to run it around the edges of my widshield and under the passenger seat. I dont really use the audio but in the moments its been on i have had no issues. Saved videos have a good enough quality to read number plates of offending vehicles. Starts recording as soon as my car is switched on and also removable from the dash mount so no one can steal it.
Can not recommend this dash cam enough.
I bought this after seeing it reviewed on the Youtuber TheSlapTrain’s channel

Effective product which records front video great, and also in the car as well. Wouldn’t get a dual one if you want it to view out the back as often the contrast from the sun washes out anything from a distance, although it does show detail closer to the car, so somewhat useful for bumps from behind. Audio quality great (I usually mute it to avoid embrassment!). Night mode is automatic depending on time and works perfectly fine too.

Takes SD card easily enough, you need to get a nail under the little middle indent of the cover, and then swivel it around as it’s attached still, which is a useful feature but I’m sure with force could be ripped out! and you can plug it in via usb or take the sd card out and put it into an adapter.

I’ve use it for 3 weeks, for at least 2 hours a day and from what I can tell it will hold a few day’s footage of this (64gb) , but it will overwrite if you don’t take this function off.

All in all, hoping it will last me a long time! Registered on VANTRUE website as well, good bonus.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBought 2 for one car, use one in the front with just the forward facing camera at highest picture quality and the one in the back window as both front (facing out the back of the car) and rear (facing into the cabin) both cameras set at 1080p. I also got them both the optional gps mount and hardwired a battery pack to supply them both with power perminantly. Fitted them both with 256GB sd cards so they hold just over 600 3 minute clips.
The picture quality is good sound also works well but we turned it off as we don’t need it. The park mode is great because it switches to it automatically once the car as been parked for about 10 mins, it’s a little sensertive and records sometimes when there does not appear to be a reason but with the high capacity sc card that does not worry me, I have sensitivity set to mid so maybe it could be turned down to resolve that but I would rather have unnecessary footage that miss something that I need.
Set up is easy and info is easily entered into the system as required with a pretty intuitive menu system.
I had a few questions for Ventrue Amazon state a 256 GB sd card the manual said 64 GB so checked with Vantrue who responded very quickly to say that the manual was out of date and was being reprinted, they also answered a few other questions very efficiently.
Our other car is fitted with another manufacturers system for both front and rear it cost about 20.00 less than the two Vantrue n2pros combined and offers far less features and is harder to use and set up and parking mode needs to be put on manually. Wish I had found these the Vantrue before getting the other one.
Great product would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good quality dash cam.

Also the guys on Facebook site are very helpful they sorted my warranty registration. I’d defintley recomend this camera.

Having never purchased a dash cam before, I wasn’t really 100% sure what to expect. Some friends of mine had recently purchased a Vantrue dash cam and recommended it to me so I gave it a go.

The first thing that I noticed when unboxing the cam is how solidly built it is. It really is a quality product. It comes with clear and concise instructions including with it a quickstart guide – which I skipped straight to!

Set up time for the camera was maximum 2 minutes! I put the SD card in, formatted it on the device itself (via the easy to navigate options), and then it was ready to go. Mounting it on the windscreen as well was very simple -using the suction cup with quick-release system provided.

The image quality is fantastic (see my video which was taken on a wet and windy day!). Getting the videos and/or images off the cam was simply a case of putting the SD card into my PC’s card reader and finding them in appropriately named folders for VIDEO, EVENT and PHOTO.

The video for the cam facing to the back of the car was also of equally high quality. We drive a Mini Clubman which is quite long with the van-like doors. Even with these obscurities the clarity of the images/video from the back of the car is fantastic. Added bonus is the IR mode for when visibility is down.

Overall, I am very pleased and we won’t leave home without this! Highly recommended!

    What a find!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI decided to pick this product because it was among the few ones able to record simultaneously from both cameras (rear and front facing) with Full HD 1080p resolution.

Me, as a traveler, a dashcam like this fits my needs perfectly. It can record by using both cameras at the same time with both at Full HD 1080p, perfect resolution for capturing every possible nearby detail of the scene. However, you have also the option to use only the rear (back) camera with up to 1440p (2.5K) resolution, or Full HD (1080p) at 60fps. Perfect for slowing the pace of the video recorded with the help of a sophisticated software. All the other options are at 30fps.

My favorite feature is the ability to maintain the quality of the scene while recording during the night as well. Hence capturing events at night, won’t be an issue at all. Also, the audio quality is great and sharp. There is an IR (Infrared) sensor on the front facing camera, in order to capture events happening inside the car on absolute darkness. Still, no matter what the level of brightness is, Vantrue will still be able to record and capture the event happening.

Of course, you have the option to enable the G-sensor, used to detect movement and start recording automatically. This is a great feature to capture actions of nearby people, or perhaps someone trying to bump your car, or perhaps another car hits yours while your car is parked, so that way you will be able to capture that car number plate.

As this dashcam accepts up to 256GB of SD card storage, it includes a feature of loop recording, overwriting the old videos files automatically.

Overall, I am very happy with this product and I will definitely recommend it for everyone and mostly, for those whose jobs are based mostly on driving (such as taxi, bus drivers etc). Very easy to use and setup, automatic movement detection, high resolution, and quality images and recording, dual camera recording and fits as a security camera for your vehicle perfectly. I’m already recommending this to my friends and family members!

I also have attached a video review of this product which is also available on my YouTube channel named as “TechPocket”.

After purchasing this dashcam about 6 months ago, I feel it is definitely a marked improvement over the previous iteration, the N2. I very much like the ability to have front and rear facing cameras, and the fact that the rear camera has been improved to be 1080p has made it much more useful, providing a much clearer picture of what’s going on. In addition, the inclusion of 4 infrared sensors – enabling night mode automatically on the rear camera – has meant that you can now have a clear view inside the cabin, even when its completely dark outside. The front camera also provides a clear picture and is now capable of 1440p when just recording the front – though I just use it at 1080p so that I can have the rear camera record at the same time.

In summary, I have had no issues with this camera thus far and it has been a dependable piece of kit to keep my car safe. It has already come in handy and provided crucial evidence of an incident, so I would very much recommend it to anyone out there!

    N2 pro camera

I bought the N2 Pro in July and have been using it on every journey since.

I chose the N2 Pro because the front and rear cameras record in 1920x1080P full HD, or 2560x1440P if just using the front camera, and it covers wide angles of 170 degrees front and 140 degrees rear. The high resolution provides the good quality images and number plate recognition I wanted. The camera also has IR lights for the rear camera and captures images inside the vehicle clearly at night. It is easy to set up, and most of the default settings are all you need.

The camera supports the use of a 256GB micro SD card [not provided] so offers plenty of storage space. When full, the camera loop records and overwrites the oldest file so nothing gets missed, and automatically protects the recording in the event of an accident. It records using separate files for front and rear. There’s also a GPS unit available to track the position and speed of the vehicle as part of the recording.

I’ve hardwired the camera using a Vantrue kit so that I can use the Parking mode, with images captured each time there’s movement around my vehicle.

It’s a feature packed device that I would recommend to anyone looking for good quality images at a reasonable price. It’s not the cheapest, but you do get what you pay for!

After I initially set up after a situation with a corrupt micro sd card (The customer support from Vantrue was brilliant) I found the N2 so easy to set up and straight forward to complete but do ensure you set the correct brightness for the camera as if set to high or to low it can be overexposed/underexposed/Sunlight v Overcast. Once I got used to how it records your journey (My set up sometimes records parts my journey into the Normal and Events folders) so if you wonder where your whole journey is check both folders. I found the camera quality to be outstanding front and rear (A constant reminder to clean my rear screen) and sound is clear as a bell. You also have the choice of having the camera record movement or impact if you are away from your vehicle (Useful if you are at the supermarket) but you will need a constant power feed to the camera. Overall for the price I have found this the most easiest camera to set up and best quality Dual Cam on the market and the Vantrue support is exceptional. Enjoy.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersA great quality dash cam with front view and in car view which I find excellent for my taxi. Night time in car quality is ok but don’t expect high quality video. Daylight conditions give excellent results both in car and of the road ahead with an excellent wide angle lense. I have used other dash cams , but found them fiddly and poorly made maybe because of the budget price. Hold the venture in your hand and you feel the quality and the mount is very secure with an easy release catch leaving the power supply cable connected to the mount. Quick and easy connection to computer with included cable makes viewing of the videos simple and so easy. All in all a great cam. I wouldn’t entertain another brand now.

Golden Review Award: 51 From Our UsersOverall I’m very happy with my Vantrue N2 Pro and will recommend it highly.
I took one star away because of some lack of information and mistakes in The Manual.

On Page 7, The Manual advises: “While charging, LED indicator light on the OK Button will blink red.”
My Ok button does not blink, it displays constant red light while charging or no light while charging but the battery is full.

It’s unclear that you need to count to 5 while long pressing the P button in order to activate the motion activated parking mode recording. Long press for less and you’ll find yourself scratching your head all day long.

The manual claims that the dashcam will sense when the engine is started and will start recording automatically. This is not the case at all with my E class Mercedes, because the charging outlets are powered at the same current non stop with or without the engine running. So I start the camera manualy and never turn it off. It goes into sleep parking mode automatically when there is no movement detected so theres no need to think about it.

It’s unclear can you use the parking mode without the hardwire kit. Yes, you can do it safely without fear of draining your car battery if you use a power bank. I have used it couple of times with a 20 000 mAh power bank that’s good enought to keep the cam in motion activated parking mode for 24 hours.

    User unfriendly firmware update process.
It’s unclear should you install all BIN files updates or just the last one. After some email exchange with the support, I’m still not too sure as to why the download page contains many files but they advised me to use just one of them.

My Vantrue Hard Wire Kit was the old version and came without manual and the necessary add a circuit attachments that connects to the car fuse box. I contacted Vantrue and they explained that those attachments will be available in the new (CURRENT) version of the kit and send me one extra kit for free.
    What a GREAT customer service!

It’s unclear what software is recommended to view and operate the simultaneous two way video, map view & GPS data. The manual never even mentions about this very IMPORTANT ability and functionality. I recommend the Dashcamviewer application available for Windows and Mac. (see my pictures)

I use the cam with five 200GB SanDisk SD cards, one for each day, and each of them is enough for 20 hours recording. You can also download it all to external USB hard drive via cable & computer where you can keep it for longer against future insurance claims. Insurance claims can come at any day, weeks after you deleted your proof of innocence. It happened to me and I learned the lesson so now I keep record for at least one week on my five cards.

If you don’t have one, get a phone OTG USB cable/adapter. It’s cheap and it gives you full access to the in camera files to view, download/upload and manage over your smartphone. Also this way you can power up the camera using your phone as powerbank. When connected, Vantrue displays two options to choose from, mass storage or charging. It is shown as external USB memory in the phone’s menu so don’t forget to Eject / Unmount properly to save your SD card from corruption.

So, after all, will I recommend it? If you din’t feel like installing two cameras, yes. It’s such a great quality and value. If I had it before, it would have saved me a lot of hassle with two false insurance claims, they call mistaken identity, lol, costing me a lot of time, frustration and money. Yup, welcome to UK insurance mafia!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThere are more dash cams then cars now it seems, but all sent created equal! I have had this camera for a little bit now but it’s an amazing device.
Right from first impressions, premium packaging! Help and support on the outside and social links. It comes shrink wrapped as well for extra security. Once you open it you are greeted with the easy to understand user manual. Plus hints etc. Next you get the camera itself. This comes shipped in a protective foam insert to stop any damage (sensible idea!) And even the camera lenses has an extra protective film to stop and dust or scratches during transport.
This model (n2 pro) also has a cabin camera too! This is extremely useful as a parking guard.
The image quality is superior to any I have tried before! And can’t be beaten. I have taken some screenshots but they don’t do justice. You could pick out a number plate miles away!
It has a very intuitive menu system allowing for easy set up and I used a 32gb card which worked perfectly but accepts upto 256gb!
It doesn’t seem to matter if dawn / day / dusk / night. It picks up everything all the time crystal clear!
The parking mode is a bonus too, meaning if someone hits or scratches your car you have the proof.
Everything has truly been thought about here even down to the mounting cradle which has an inbuilt charger so your not trying to cram cables everywhere just one simple plug and go.
I have recommended this to everyone I know and for the price I can’t see how they can make them!
I’m glad I chose this model and with features like the autolock I’m reassured that even in the case of an accident it will all be stored and more importantly locked! (I tested this by giving it a tap and it works a treat, not too sensitive just right cleaver ey?)
Your normal day to day driving is recorded too, but without touching it will automatically write over once the card is full of the non locked items. This means no more sitting there removing redundant files it all done! But keeping the important!
You also get a cable to connect it to your computer if you ever need to or simple re I’ve the microsd and copy from there.
I liked the time and date stamp feature however when I cropped the picture I cut these off. But they are there down the bottom center normally!
Finally the next piece I want for this is the GPS. Module! That connects in just a simply but then also proves location speed etc. Truly everything has been thought about.

Amazing picture quality, premium device & feel.

I drive everyday along the M1 from Watford to Baker St in London and having this camera gives me the security that if a crash happens I will be protected. It was easy to setup and the picture quality came out really good, the cable included was really long so I could run it tidily plus it also senses if something happens and auto saves even when I’m not driving and the car is parked.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersThe Vantrue N1 Pro comes with features such as parking mode and seamless loop recording (makes editing that bit easier when joining clips together). Vantrue claims that it will support a 256GB micro SD card. I was unable to verify this because I bought a 128GB micro SD card and that definitely works. I formatted it in the camera and I haven’t had any problems with it. Vantrue recommends the Samsung EVO. The best place to find them is elsewhere on Amazon.
The dashcam comes with a suction cup mount, a long mini USB lead which plugs into a 12v socket and a shorter micro USB lead. There is a GPS mount available For the parking mode Vantrue recommends hardwiring the camera to the car. They can provide a suitable mini USB lead for about a tenner.
I found the camera really easy to use. Most of the buttons are on the back except for the emergency button which is situated on the top. Navigating the menus was an absolute doddle and I was able to set it up to how I wanted it. The audio quality wasn’t quite as good as my previous dashcam but I can live with it and besides, it isn’t really a top priority in a dashcam. It cost more than my previous dashcam but it has more features so you do get what you pay for.
I’ve been using it for a week and the video quality is quite good. It seems to adapt quite well to changing light such as when emerging from a tunnel. Vehicle registration numbers are easily visible in daytime but at night you have to be right behind a car to be able to see the plate. The night vision is a good approximation of what the human eye sees though.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersPros:
    – Well priced for what it is
    – Standard ports (eg Micro USB)
    – Compact camera and nice matte colour. Whilst driving this didn’t distract me at all – I placed it to the left of the rear view mirror and could barely notice it at all.
    – Picture quality is good, as described. Only complaint would be the 30fps recording, but that’s fairly standard on dashcams.
    – Following on from this, I could easily see number plates of other vehicles so it’s definitely adequate for everyday driving.

    Neutral:
    – Night vision is good, but not a game changer in my opinion. I don’t do much nighttime driving so that probably doesn’t help. Still very nice to have.

    Cons:
    – The inbuilt display is fairly small.
    – The display is also a weird aspect ratio, not 16:9 as most people are probably used to.

    Conclusion:
    – Overall a great product in my opinion, and for the price you can’t really go wrong.

Setup was relatively easy to do, firstly had to leave cam on charge for a few hours before settings could be set to what I wanted but no problem really, just did other things for a while
Menu was easy to follow so settings only took about 5 mins,
Then put the cam in my car, plenty of cable to hide it discretely

Golden Review Award: 81 From Our UsersVantrue N2 Pro

I’m a taxi driver, I need to record the inside of the car as well as the outside, this N2 Pro fits the bill perfectly.
I’ve tried numerous other cameras, none come even close to this one.
Both cameras record in 1080p HD with sound and both picture and sound quality are excellent. IR lights on the inner one for nightime vision.
It records separate files for inside and outside, so when viewing them on a PC you get the full widescreen image.
If the inside camera is not required, it can be turned off and the front cam becomes 1440p quality.
Unusually for cameras this small, the menus in setup work perfectly. Too many options to list here, but they include G-Sensor if someone bumps your unattended car it starts recording, parking sensor is similar. Loop recording, overwriting the oldest files. A host of other options including time and date stamp and you car registration number all embedded in the file.
A GPS mount is available to replace the original one and then records speed and location. A hard wire kit is also an option to power from the fuse box instead of the cigarette lighter.
All in all, a very robust well made camera that is small but packs a punch and very good value.
Firmware updates are available on the Vantrue website and if not already installed they up the card capacity to 256gb.
I’d recommend this camera to anybody without hesitation.
I’d recommend at least a Class 10 micro sd card and U3 if you can.
A 128gb card covers me for a full shift . Occasional users would get away with less.
Im so happy with it, I’ve bought another for my other car.

The Vantrue N2 Pro is an excellent product. Easy to use out of the box, setup and running within 10 mins.

The build and picture quality is truly excellent. I’d highly recommend this dash cam, it packs lots of features for the price.

If you need a dash cam, then seriously consider the Vantrue N2 Pro…..certainly a must buy.

Brilliant dash cam. Arrived on time and really easy to fit to windscreen with the suction lock. Set up is simple and easy to do. Image quality is superb with both the front and rear cameras. Really useful to have the two cameras as proof of what you were doing as a driver in the event of an accident.
Looks stylish and switches on and off with the ignition. I use a 32gb card with no problems at all.
The power cable is good quality and is a decent length.

The G-sensor is a useful feature as it locks the video to prevent it being over written.
Parking mode records if the vehicle is stopped and the camera detects movement, although it needs to be permanently wired for this to function.

The camera slides and locks into the window mount. Pressing a release button makes it easy to remove and means the suction cup can remain in the same position on the windscreen.

It took me quite a while to decide on a dash cam – there are so many. I wanted a good one and I believe you get what you pay for. The Vantrue N2 PRO has not disappointed. It provides great coverage forward and rear into the vehicle. We live in a very rural are driving along tight lanes all the time. If an accident does occur the dash cam will save some money on avoiding knock for knock claims.

What can I say except that this dash cam is made for taxi drivers. Specially the feature allowing you to record both front and inside of the car is great. It’s easy to defend yourself against claims that the taxi driver has done something inappropriate which is a plague nowadays. I fully recommend his cam. Additionally the support team is fabulous.

This product is very good and extremely clear picture and sound I was very impressed so I bought two more for my other cars, only downside is the battery life is pretty much non existent so have to have external power pack to use the car park option or hardwire. But all in all brilliant product defo recommend.

This is a very well built dash cam that more or less ticks all the boxes I am really pleased with it.The only problem I did have was the mount on the picture was not the same mount as the one I recivied and that style of mount was the one I was after and one of the biggest selling points for me reason being I drive a hgv and the windscreen is flat unlike a car so that type of mount would have been great the new upgraded mount will stick but at a downward angle. I got in touch with the seller and they are sending me out a old style mount same on the picture. Can not fault the quick response and great customer support which goes far when buying a product I would have returned this but like I said the dash cam is of top quality and gets top marks. For me it’s great having the motion detection for when parked up at night which is a bonus . One happy custome

This is the best Dashcam on the market, Its discreet as its compact, the screen is small and turns off once you are on the move and the infrared camera records the inside of your car perfectly along with everything that is said in the vehicle. Picture quality is excellent.
An absolute must if you are a Taxi or Private Hire driver.
Vantrue’s customer service is second to none should you have a problem.

    You will not be disappointed!!

Received the Pro version yesterday, got my new sd micro card at the same time (Toshiba Exceria M302 128GB Micro SD Memory Card 90 MB/s 4K – THN-M302R1280EA). Firstly – read the instructions provided, then go about downloading the firmware update from the Vantrue website as my camera arrived with FW version VTN2Pro8E.V14 and the newest release is VTN2Pro8F.V17. Once I had used a generic standard micro sd card to install the update the dashcam then accepted my new super duper Toshiba card.
The quality of the recording is excellent, the build quality is very high, smooth moving parts, nice solid windscreen mount, excellent length 12v cigarette charger style power cord reaches around the edging of my car and into the 12V port at the middle of the back seats – 2m I guess ? perfect length for a Volvo S40 anyways from behind the windscreen rear view mirror to the rear 12V port.
Would have scored 5 stars but I had to faff around with firmware updates and at first the dashcam did not want to connect with my computer.

Excellent Dashcam use it in my taxi purchased it because it had dual lens pretty good night vision. Only drawback there is no app like some other cameras you can download footage to your phone it would be a great camera had this function not that’s great already

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersHad many cameras but this one is so far the best one specially the night vision, it’s so clear at night, best camera would recommend it, the only downfall is that you can’t send videos directly to your phone as it has no WiFi , but you can get ( lighting SD card reader) and use that to transfers any video straight to your phone at higher speed . Using lighting sd card reader will show everything in order such as ( event, normal and picture folders so you can find the videos you looking for easier in their correct folder. The only problem is that you have to remove your SD CARD from your camera each time you want to transfer.
Best way is to keep emergency videos in camera for a week or 2 unless you need it for insurance purposes or some other emergency which you have to do it quicker, other than that leave it until you have many videos then transfer them using SD CARD READER and then format your camera which you must do every 2 weeks, this way you won’t be removing the SD CARD from camera everyday .
Tip: to avoids filling your camera memory best way is to go through the emergency videos using the camera itself and delete the ones you don’t want such as rear recording or front , if you do emergency recording the camera will record extra videos for safety so delete them and be patient for a week, transfers them to your phone and upload all the bad drivers to YouTube. Hehe

N2 Pro , transfere videos to your phone without using a PC then using LIGHTINING SD CARD READER.

Great quality item and probably one of the very best dash cameras out there currently. Sadly am returning mine due to the screen being too small for my eyes. I had also hoped the rear view would have picked up more of the outside – but that depends so much on where it’s placed.
With the above said, if you are after a camera with great build quality, superb recording, that got both front and rear and is in a fairly compact unit, you’d be hard-pressed to find much better, and I would bet this unit would also be one of the most reliable when you really need it.

Golden Review Award: 26 From Our UsersNot at all bad, but not brilliant either. I have had dash cams with better quality videos and better resolution. The rear camera is ok, but if you are driving with the sun behind you then you can’t see a thing. Plus points, you can input your GPS, and registration number so they are there for evidence in case.
I have just upgraded this to 5 stars. This little gem caught a perfect shot of one of the little beggars who nicked my car the other night. Good enough for the pol**e to get a screen shot, and as far as I am concerned, worth it’s weight in gold.

After doing my research, I eventually decided to go for the Vantrue N2 pro. Time lapse and a rear facing camera in my opinion are deal breakers. I had my N2 Pro hard wired with a permanent live, this will allow me to use the time lapse function when the vehicle is parked out on the street/shopping centre etc. I’m told, that as long as the vehicle is used daily, time lapse at 1 photo every 10 seconds should not drain the car battery. Time will tell or should that be time lapse will tell lol. Moving on, when mounting the dash cam to the suction cup I was expecting to hear a click, just to confirm the cam and suction cup had made a secure connection. In my experience that did not happen, after sliding the dash cam along the rails of the cup I have to push down on the release catch for it to lock in place. when using time lapse you need to wait several minutes before you can stop time lapse recording. If you turn the dash off, the time lapse file will become corrupt and will show as an error when you try to view the footage. I’m glad I bought the N2 pro, it’s a great looking dashcam with a quality feel to it. I would definitely recommend that you go for a hard wire installation with permanent live. Add a On Off switch also, this can be hidden quite easily I paid in total 53 pounds to have an engineer come to my place of work and fit the cam professionally I have now changed my rating to 5 stars, a NEW suction cup mount is on it’s way after informing, After Sales Service Support.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersUpdate: Vantrue contacted me soon after posting this review and sent me a replacement mount of different design. It’s now February 2021, and, I am still using the mount. It is perfect! Fantastic customer service!!!! Buy with confidence. Now, the only thing I wish I could change the exposure settings so that it picks up outside rather than inside…. 😉 Upped from 3 to 5 stars.

I can’t fault the actual cameras themselves. The front one delivers what it says it should, as does the rear one. This was bought for use in a super-mini (the thought behind it being I could save on a dual camera system. On the whole, it works, but, being an infra-red rear camera, the exposure range means that any sunshine outside renders anything outside the vehicle white-washed. At all times, internal recording is fine. There is one criticism though; I remove the unit when I’ve finished using the car. Within a month of removal / installing, the included mount, whilst still firmly attached to the windscreen, no longer holds the camera still. This situation is only getting worse, At this price point, I expect good design. At the end of the day, the decision is yours as to whether you buy this with a mount that hasn’t been designed properly.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersThe Vantrue N2 pro is a truly amazing dash cam. It features two HD cameras, front and rear on the same unit. So technically one camera would be recording the road and the other record inside the vehicle. The front camera also has good night vision capabilities, and can capture images in great detail in the dark. Setting the camera up is as easy as it gets, and all you need is to quickly skim through the manual and your ready to go. It has all the standard features you would expect with a dash cam these days like a G-sensor for auto collision detection, and loop recording. This Camera supports up to 64GB MicroSD which is more than good enough to store a fare few clips. Unfortunately this dash cam doesn’t come with a MicroSD card for storage so you have to buy your own. Lucky you can get a 64GB size MicroSD for pretty cheap nowadays. The N2 uses a rechargeable battery and although not the biggest battery, you can actually just keep it connected to power by micro usb cable and usb car lighter adaptor. There is a display screen that is tiny for playback viewing. Honestly it is so small I don’t actually see the point in having it there. I have taking a few pictures while testing out the camera to check the quality. Make sure to adjust the date and time, as it could be crucial when using as evidence if you ever get into an accident. As you can see I still need to do that, but at least the camera quality is good.

High quality dash cam everyone should ow

I was after a car Dashcam that had front and rearview. After looking at various dashcams on amazon and looking at customer reviews on amazon and YouTube I decided to take the plunge and finally purchase the Vantrue N2 pro dashcam. Video quality is excellent, I personally always have sound turned off and the customer service is spot on as I sent an email querying how to switch off the internal rearview camera and vantrue got back to me quite quickly.
I have no complaints about the camera and I feel a lot safer with the dashcam on whilst driving.
I only wish it had the ability of wi fi so that videos could be sent to the mobile. Apart from that it’s great.

This is the first dash cam that I have bought and I did a lot of reading up before taking the plunge and actually buying one. I particularly like the features of the dual camera and parking mode which seem to work very well if you buy the hard wiring kit as well. The wide angle lens captures the whole of the road in front of you from the edges of your windscreen and the quality of the pictures is astounding! You can easily read the numberplates of the cars that pass you or driving in front of you. If you are a taxi driver then this will be invaluable as you can record the occupants of your car and have audio as well. Overall I am very pleased with this and would recommend it.

Well made, compact and discrete. Easy to set up and get working. Picture quality is awesome when set at highest level. Went for a 64gb high endurance card as this type are designed for repeated over writing. Contrary to some reviews on the N2 Pro, can confirm that it can take a 64gb card and, moreover, can be formatted by the N2 Pro once installed. Was easy to route the power cable so there are no ugly dangling cables. Will probably get the Vantrue hard wired kit to avoid the cigarette charger – looks neater.

Brought this dash cam after I had a car accident, the fact it records inside is invaluable as it shows what is happening to you in the car, if I had, had this before would of shown the ambulance crew that I blacked out after I was hit by a lorry. The video quality is fantastic inside and out.really wish I had brought a long time ago.

I’ve been using my Vantrue N2 Pro for a few weeks now and think that it is a really excellent product. Very easy to use and then review the very good quality footage on a PC. In my mind, not really suitable for recording out of the back window (not in my car anyway), but perfect for out front and inside. I don’t use the parking mode as I have not got it hard wired in. Very highly recommended.

The camera arrived on time and is excellent quality.
It is made of good quality materials and very compact.

Setting up was relatively easy and the instructions were clear although the print is very small and I had to use a magnifying glass to read it.
No micro SD card is supplied so you need to get one before it can be used.
I opted for a 64GB card which is the maximum the camera can handle.
Make sure you get a class 10 card with fast transfer rates.
The card must be formatted before it can be used and this is easily done in the camera.
I have seen references online that only a 32GB card can be formatted in camera and the larger ones have to be done on a Windows computer but this is not true as my 64GB formatted ok.

Picture quality is excellent in daylight and equally good at night.
The lens has a very wide field of view which allows for any misalignment of the camera.
Alignment is adjusted using the small screen which shows the image from the front camera with a smaller picture from the rear camera superimposed in the top left corner.
Each camera can be adjusted independently of each other and is very simple to do.

I opted for the GPS version which is an extra that replaces the supplied suction cup mounting with another suction cup mounting that has GPS built in.
With this you get the cars speed and position shown on playback together with date, time, and the cars number plate that comes with the basic version.
My only gripe is your position is shown as latitude and longitude rather than Town/Street which means you would have to work out your position using a suitable map of your area.

The camera can also be switched to a surveillance camera when parked and is triggered by movement close to the car.
This is extremely good and not only does it provide car security it provides a better picture from my driveway than I get from my much more expensive camera mounted on the side of my house.

I have not had the camera very long so I cannot
report on its reliability but from my experience so far I doubt if there will be any problems.

I bought from Amazon yesterday N2pro. I saw review of Mr Haris but have anyone checked clips on laptop because mine is showing lot of disruption. Can anyone check on laptop and give me feedback. I have used Samsung evo plus 32 GB, results are same
On playing on camera LCD it’s fine but of course if you need clip you have to play on computer or laptop.
Update; seems laptop does not support clips as other customers have given same feedback. Overall this model is fantastic,. Especially for night recording, you can easily recognise faces.
Outer camera is 170 and inner is 140 which is fair enough.

This is my second Vantrue dashcam, i decided to upgrade to the N2 Pro for my wifes car because it has a rear facing camera that monitors the interior of the car.
The wide angle lens catches vehicles as soon as they come in to eyeline, the setup is simple and only takes 5 minutes. The video quality is excellent even in low light and the rear view camera has IR to light the video.

The power cable is good quality and plenty long enough to hide in the dash, if your cigarette lighter powers with the ignition this will automatically start and stop the dashcam.

The G-sensor is a great feature any sudden braking or bumps and the current recording is locked and moved to a different folder the sensativity can be changed if you are getting false recordings.

Parking mode records if the vehicle is stopped and the camera sees any movement, Parking mode requires a permenant power supply.

The camera slides and locks into the window mount making for easy removal and not having to reposition the camera every time you use it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersHave waited for the N2 Pro to come to UK as it was only in the US until this month. It was worth the wait. Installed it into my car at the weekend and I am very impressed overall. First off….this has to be one of the best looking cams out, very compact with a stealth like shape. Very versatile in terms of functionality. Did wonder how it would perform in low light but the N2 handled it very well, better than a lot of more expensive cams out there. Parking function works well with options for various timed snapshots or movement detection. End results look very good on my laptop but it really comes into its own when viewed on HD TV. Both Internal & outside cams are an update on the previous model with the infra red lights showing true distinction even in darkness and the front cam having a choice of higher definitions. Internal cam, mic and LCD screen can all be switched on or off while in record or park mode. I bought the GPS mount and Vantrue hardwire kit and both work great and are easy to fit. The mount grips very well on the windscreen and GPS is accurate…I think both are well worth it. You can also run a 64GB SD card if formatted correctly.
I have had the cam hardwired and running day & night back to back with no battery issues. The N2 itself has a quality feel to it also…a soft rubber type material coating. Overall impressions so far …. Very Good.
