This is so good it should automatically come with a new pet.
With 4 dogs aged 1 to 17, there is always muddy pawprints or an accident or vomit to clean up and for some reason all of our dogs make a bee line for the nearest rug to do it on. Once you have removed what you can you are left with a nasty smelling and looking stain. The Vax is the first carpet cleaner we have had that actually sorts it out. It’s easy to use, cleans like a demon, and the suction is so good it take most of the water up which halves drying time.
If the stain is a little stubborn then the hand vacuum attachment will fix it.

There was a nozzle head missing, and screws to hold the handle. I was grateful to the Amazon help service though which enabled me to obtain a copy of the manual, which really helped. Would be good if even vendors via Amazon Warehouse would obtain a copy of all product manuals to help customers.
This product, once the initial glitches were ironed out, worked just superbly, so I end up happy
Used this initially on bedroom carpets. The top tanks, cleaning fluid and clean water are easy enough to service but the waste tank, at the bottom, is a bit fiddly and becomes temperamental at times. Sometimes it continues extracting the dirty water until full and other times needs emptying when it’s hardly got anything in, I have not worked out why.
When running it has done a very meritorious job and cleaned some very mucky areas of the carpet.
It has been a big bonus in keeping on top of cleaning the carpets.
Stairs are a bit more of a problem and they need a strategy for use.
My carpets aren’t even a year old yet but we got a puppy German shepherd 2 months after having them down and I honestly thought the carpets were destroyed forever. I was going to get someone in to clean or hire a machine but for how often I’d need to do it and the price I thought I’d try this one out. It’s amazing! This was with the solution provided and I’m so so happy with the results. 160 machine that has saved me spending hundreds on professional cleaning or new carpets!
I did ooh and ahhh about buying such an expensive product but I have to say it was worth it. We have a lot of pets but not a lot of carpets although I have used it on stairs and upholstery and a large rug. It did a great job and left a fresh smell. The only slight downside is that it is quite heavy. I am 5’2 and petite and it’s manageable but I won’t need to join a gym anytime soon.
This is a brilliant machine! I would highly recommend it. Pleased I bought one with attachments to be able to clean the stairs too as along with the hallway probably gets the most traffic. Can’t believe how dirty my carpets actually were! Amazing how it lifts the dirt out giving carpets a new lease of life. I would recommend after rinsing going over the carpet several times to suck up as much water out of the carpet as you can to speed up drying time.
Vax came with a sample bottle of cleaner which is brilliant but wasn’t enough to clean all the carpets in the house so would suggest buying and additional bottle of cleaner.
The Vax itself isn’t that heavy but can feel heavier once water is in and tank is full. If you struggle with this you can overcome by putting less water in so wouldn’t be a problem. Just refill it more often. All in all, great cleaning machine! Love it!
Very impressed with this machine, excellent results and easy to use. We have large rooms and very pleased we bought a machine with large water tanks. The attachment for stairs is not as efficient because it distributes less water and it takes longer to keep going over the treads.
I was worried it would be too big but its similar to my old one. It is better in that it does last longer before refil. Also it does not leak on the carpet when stationary which my old one did. Good cleaning power. Would recommend

It’s very easy to assemble. The dirty water was really black so that must mean it works. I had some quite bad dog stains and they were no longer visible after one wash. I was pleased with that. Over all, pretty impressive, I’ve given 4 stars because I’ve only used it once, but so far so good.
After having muddy paws in the house for a few months, the carpet was filthy. This carpet cleaner has rotating brushes that actually picked up more hair than the vacuum cleaner (which was used prior to washing). Evidence in the photos.
Also the amount of dirt that came out was embarrassing, but at least I know the carpet cleaner did its job.

Bought this on offer in the Black Friday sale, first off I think it’s brilliant value for money. I wanted to keep our carpets fresh with having a baby and a dog spills and muddy paws happen! I was amazed how much it cleaned our carpets after one use (they had only been down 2 years) it was easy to assemble, instructions are straight forward. The small solution that comes with would only do one large room I would say so I would purchase more if you want to get straight to doing the full house.. our carpets smelt lovely after use and weren’t left soaking, they dried in a couple of hours on deep clean mode with the help of a dehumidifier.

Easy to use but quite heavy due to very strong and effective suction. Carpets dried quickly and machine easy to clean afterwards.

This carpet washer is a good product it is my first one and I am happy about it. Look at the pictures, after years of no washing I unit on those horrible old stains with a carpet shampoo that is provided and I am amazed. The carpet looks new and dose not smell anymore. I woul recommend to follow the instruction about the shampoo and the water temperature.to obtain the best result. Yes buy it and you will have a new.carpe
Brought to clean carpets of our both old and new houses, we were pleasantly surprised how effective this is. Connecting the furniture and stairs cleaner is fiddly the first time, but still does a good job.
Have used it once & it did a good job on my lounge carpet. Would recommend it. It has the option of a quick or deep clean + a rinse afterwards. The shampoo is separate 2 the water which i like. It has a good length cord too. I would definitely recommend this machine.
Bought this as carpets needed a clean and hiring one is a faff, also in past carpets stank of damp for weeks. Reviews were good so thought what the heck. OMG the dirt it lifted was amazing yet next day carpets were bone dry. Stairs ok but couldn’t get them as dry with the hand held device. Now done mine my daughters and mums carpets they all very impressed with amount of dirt it lifts but also how dry it leaves the carpets. A brilliant purchase.
Fantastic bit of kit we haven’t changed our carpet yet as we ar currently decorating but the kids have made it a right mess as well as Christmas is on the way I thought I better clean the carpet and looked for a good mechine I was going to get a second hand one but it didn’t look to good then this vax popped up on amazon and had good reviews well I must say it didn’t dissapiont worked straight out of the box so easy to use larg tanks so you can do a bigger area and drys fairly well not the 45 minutes it says on the box but it is winter maybe in the peak of the summer, I did read that it was best to mix the water and cleaner together I didn’t first time and it used it very quickly so mixed the water and cleaner together much better less bubbles when sucking up, also got it on interest free payments witch helps a lot.
Amazing!! I was dubious about how well this would clean. I usually spend 100 every few months to get my carpets cleaned having messy kids and a dog! It has brought my carpets back to life and the best thing is I can use whenever I like! Great for spills or muddy carpets! Very easy to use and drys very quickly even on deep clean!! Loving it so far and the dirty and clean tank is so much better!! It’s not that light weight but easily manageable! Does what it says on the tin and for the price I paid ive already saved around 300 not having to call out the carpet man!
This cleaner did a brilliant job of cleaning our carpets, have completed 5 large rooms now. This item is big so you need somewhere sizeable to store it (it is about twice the size of a standard upright vacuum). It is very plasticky and you need care and patience when assembling to ensure everything sits properly. Quite heavy to use especially on longer pile carpet but the effort is worth it. Wash going forward, dry pulling back then rinse, I did an extra couple of runs on dry setting and the carpets were dry within 2 hours. Tool for stairs is quite small but does a reasonable job, took an hour to do 12 stairs and small landing. I am very pleased I purchased this and it has already paid for itself compared to a rental.
First off,I’ll start by telling you what the description doesn’t..It’s heavy!This thing is big and solid.Older users may struggle a bit but it’s not totally dissimilar to vacuuming.Also I would not want to lug this up some stairs with a full tank of water.
It’s easy to assemble and I had it ready to use in 5 minutes.It’s probably the size of a large upright vacuum so consider your storage space.
Overall it was easy to use and did what it claimed.

I’ve only used this on my sofa iv laminate flooring throughout I noticed a stain on my suede sofa I chanced buying this machine bricking it being suede to get it cleaned I was looking at huge bucks so I got this machine and a up it removed the stain so I’m giving it 5 stars
It is very good product. In our house with 2 dogs, the carpet washer keeps carpets clean and fresh. I will recommend it to anybody.
This is a fantastic cleaner! Has fantastic suction and comes apart for easy cleaning. It has a large container for both water and cleaning fluid so you don’t have to continually have to stop cleaning to refill. Does make it a bit heavy with all that fluid!
My only issue is the attachment hole at the front is a bit fiddly and fragile, I’m hoping it doesn’t break off! The attachment makes cleaning small spills, hard to reach places and stairs an absolute breeze!

Did a test on my sons carpet which was disgusting and to my surprise it did a perfect job really got the deep dirty bit out. It took two goes to completely remove the bad bit however it a brilliant carpet and upholstery cleaner. Well worth the money.

Looks heavy and cumbersome, but in fact it is lighter than it looks and is very easy to manouvere. simple easy to use compartments telling you what goes where. Very pleased with it so far. One small problem that my wife found was trying to keep the trigger pressed while moving the machine. For her it was hard to do.
Have only used it once but I’m glad I bought it. Removed a lot of dirt! Took a good few hours to dry, But weather was damp and cold so maybe on a warm dry day they would dry quicker. Noisy though and quite heavy.
We bought this Vax to replace another that we had for over 15 years. So happy that it is exactly like our previous cleaner. It is large and quite heavy but easy to use. Good suction and brings the carpet up a treat. Don’t have stairs so can’t comment on how the tools work on stairs. But so far very happy with this purchase.
Quite a hefty item, but it does clean very thoroughly with a choice of deep or standard clean plus a very useful rinse function that removes any excess solution in the carpet. Big tanks mean less emptying but of course adds to the weight – but better that way to be honest. Overall it performs better than my previous bissell and that was good to be fair…!
Well this upgrade from my old vax shampooer is excellent, its certainly cleaned my beige carpet a 100% better than the old one. I cant comment on cleaning stairs as I haven’t any. Its really easy to use and the suction is excellent. I’d certainly recommend

Our light coloured carpets had not been cleaned for a good number of years and were beginning to really show their age. In addition to a number of stains (yes, the occasional spillages of red wine were among the culprits) there were also visible signs of wear from heavy foot traffic in the usual places, such as the hallway, around sofas, etc. These areas were precleaned with HG Stain Spray Extra strong (which I also rate 5 stars) and then all carpeted areas were cleaned with the Vax machine. I’m 71 years young and quite strong but after the job was completed I really could feel my muscles and joints in my right arm and shoulder. This is because this machine is quite bulky and heavy to move around, particularly around corners and difficult to access areas. On the other hand it really does do an excellent job and the results are quite spectacular. I found that best results were obtained if one went slowly to give the machine the time to really let the brushes do their work and remove the ingrained dirt deep down in the carpets. The end result was even better if the job was finished off using the rinse setting.
Does exactly what I purchased it for. Certainly much easier than others I have used.
So easy to set up and use, amazing results on my carpets, my 1 and only little nag is that the stair hose is not long enough, you cannot have the machine at the bottom of the stairs as it tells you as the hose just does not reach, I had to do 5 steps from the top of the stairs, hoping the machine was nt going to crash on my head, then get the machine to the bottom and finish, the result is really good so can put up with that .
Had to get one of these cause I have a cat and dog that always trape in dirt.. the amount of dirt that lifted off the carpets was unreal, took out all of the stains from them. Only gave 4 stars because it gets quite heavy to push after a while right enough I done 3 bedrooms and a hall in the 1 day. Great product, would highly recommend.
