Just water & maybe a drop of washing up liquid cleans amazingly well. Jewellery, especially rings, spectacles & dental plates are what I have tried so far & all shining in minutes.
Just be careful when emptying the water out – must avoid the controls at the front.

This is a very easy machine to use. I lost the instructions in my house move but the machine is so easy to work out. Will be interesting to try other items in it.

Cleans silver jewellery with no problem. More tarnished pieces require longer cycle or cleaning them 2-3 times but they do come out clean eventually, even the pieces with intricate design.

VEEAPE Jewellery Cleaner, 43khz Ultrasonic Cleaner 600ml Professional Ultrasonic Bath Cleaner with Cleaning Basket Watch Stand Digital Timer for Jewelry Glasses Silver Pendant Coin Metal Razor Denture

    The product.
This is an ultra-sonic water bath for jewellery cleaning.

    Using.
You fill it with water and turn it on. It pulses ultra-sonic waves to break up corrosion and dirt on jewellery, coins and other items.

    Effectiveness.
Generally, it is very good at cleaning lightly stuck dirt. We tend to use a soft toothbrush first to loosen any stubborn debris. You have to be careful with watches and only put them in if they have a proven water sealing. It is fine for watch cases and straps.

    Results.
The results are generally good with jewellery and ok with old coins. It has a timer so you can set the system to get the best results over a given time.

    Overall.
A useful cleaning system that saves time and generally gets good results.

In actual sense, this is very easy to use,
And the setting up is not a problem atall.

All you have to do is to fill the tank with plain water up to the maximum level as Indicated, place the items to be cleaned in the tank, add a few drops of soap in the tank and press the ON button and set the time to use.
I can notice a bubble and a bit of vibration and after use if it, I can see the different in my jewellery as it look cleaner thst it was.

This is nice and I love i

    It does the job.

I’ll be honest this was more of a just-in-case request, I didn’t particularly need it right now.

That said after giving it a go with some lightly grimy jewellery I’ve got to say that it’s okay.
I’m not an expert in the ultrasonic jewellery cleaning space so I can’t really offer you any insight as to how this stacks up against any similarly priced or styled units. But I can tell you that from my limited use it’s done the job.
It’s easy to make sense of and use, easy enough to clean, and I guess durability remains to be seen.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersIt works, but it’s worth knowing it’s limitations.

The instructions reccomend using a detergent, such as washing up liquid. I would also second this, as pure water doesn’t quite cut it for cleaning dirt. You can use stronger cleaners, such as caustics and solvents, but it’s worth knowing generally what is good for the material you’re trying to clean, as for example some solvents can ruin aluminium. I’d also strongly reccomend not putting anything other than water directly in to the primary bath.

It also can be trial and error – a dirty 50p coin took 10 minutes to clean, whereas a slightly tarnished ring took 4 minutes.

The biggest tip I could give would be to put your item in a glass jar, fill the glass jar with water and a cleaning solution, then put the glass jar in the bath of water. This will save your primary bath getting ruined and messy, and means that you have the option to use more aggressive cleaning solutions should you need to, as it would all be contained in the glass container.

The things that would make this better would be if it had a heating function, which it doesn’t. It’s worth using hot or warm water for that edge – it will act as a better catalyst.

Overall – it’s good. You might find yourself wanting a bigger one, as this only really works for very small items, and it does slightly let itself down in not having clear instructions on how to use it (youtube was really the only clear way I worked this out) and also not having that good of timer and heating functions. It’s a good starter one for jewellery, though you might find yourself wanting a slightly better one very quickly.

I have never used one of these before and have only ever gone to a jewellers to get rings etc cleaned for my Fiance, so I thought I would give this a try:

    – The cleaner arrived in a nice, smart box with a basket to place jewellery etc in, a holder for a watch and
a set of instructions that aren’t all that clear…
    – The cleaner itself looks fairly fancy and it has a see-through lid on top so you can see how your
    jewellery etc being cleaned.
    – As a set and individually, the cleaner and basket bits actually seem of a really good quality and fairly
    robust!
    – Although the instructions were limited, I found a helpful video online that showed me how to use
this properly. I tried first with a pair of glasses which fit nicely in to the basket and then in to the
    cleaner.
    – My glasses came out rather clean and with the anti-glare coating still in tact too!
    – I also tried my LotR One Ring and it came out the cleanest I’ve seen it! It looks excellent!
    – There aren’t any bubbles that I can see which is interesting… But then again that could be because my
glasses were in there and I couldn’t see a lot…
    – The machine rinses and dries well too which is excellent!

You know what, I would recommend this. It’s my first experience with one and I am thus far impressed!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersNot a bad ultrasonic cleaner. Very easy to use, simply by filling the tank with plain water (I use distilled water) up to the max mark, place the items to be cleaned in the tank, add a few drops of detergent in the tank and press the ON button and set the time to use.

I like the clear view window at the top so I can see what’s going on. The ultrasonic cleaner has a good capacity and an easy-to-read digital timer on the front. It comes with both a removable basket and watches holder, which helps prevent scratches while cleaning items.

I was reluctant at first to put in my expensive jewellery and watches. I tried it with an old gold chain that I had which hasn’t been cleaned in over 15 years which looked dull. After cleaning, it looked brand new. After trying a few more items of less value, like rings, glasses coins, I have built up the confidence to clean my higher value items.

Overall, it cleans well and fast. Silver and gold look a lot cleaner however I did find I needed to repeat clean on some items. I was expecting a lot more bubbles which I believe is the most important factor on what impacts objects in the tank and lifts dirt, germs, oil, pigments and other contaminants.

It would be great if there were a more comprehensive list of items that can be cleaned and also examples of how long an item needs to be cleaned for. For the price it’s good.

    Easy to use, good cleane

Ultrasonic cleaners seem to be all the rave on Amazon right now and rightly so in my opinion! You can have great fun cleaning all kinds of small objects with minimal effort! All you really is need water and there’s the option of adding detergent as well should you want.

The instructions aren’t very comprehensive, but the device is simple enough to work out to be honest with you! Mess around with the settings and try different things out! You can also watch a few youtube videos or do some online reading to learn more, which I would highly recommend!

I think a lot of these ultrasonic cleaners are quite similar in my opinion, the main difference seems to lie in the size of the tub! While this one is ok, I’d recommend going for the biggest one you can find in the same price range as you can obviously fit larger objects inside so has more versatility!

This product is ideal for cleaning all your delicate (waterproof) jewellery, or watches and as I found out, my glasses. It works by putting a little warm water and a drop of a soap solution into the small bath and then the machine uses ultrasound to “vibrate” the dirt and grease loose. As someone who is obsessed with cleaning my spectacles I have found that this device gets them shop fresh everytime. It does a good job on rings and bracelet’s especially those popular trinket ones that are all the rage. In these changed times, making sure our stuff is clean is more important than every and this helps with a lot of those difficult to clean item.

The Veape Jewellery Cleaner is effective, and does what is claimed.

However, it is quite small, and most of the items I would like to deep-clean are just an inch or two too large to fit fully immersed!

How effective it might be depends on size of the item, the degree and type of contamination, the temperature and relevance of the solvent, and the duration of agitation.

The instructions are basic and adequate from the point of safety, but could enlarge on techniques for cleaning different items.

While I was testing the cleaner, it also helped persuade a neighbour’s obnoxious tom-cat to decide he was not going to investigate or claim my open garage. That is what I call a positive result.

This was incredibly easy to unpack and use. Literally minutes. Used a splash of washing up liquid, popped in my bling and hey presto super sparkly jewels. The unit holds a considerable amount and through ultrasonic vibration which doesn’t make a great deal of noise effortlessly cleans a build up of skin cells and dirt/tarnish.

    Sparkly clea

So this is the cheaper version of the two ultrasonic cleaner that I recieved on the same weekend. So it was benchmarked against the other. What’s different?

First off you notice the size, this just about fits a pair of glasses. Everything I’ve thrown at it just fits compare to the other which I could throw this thing into it… Hum a cleaner cleaning a cleaner….

The next difference noticed is that unlike the other, this has a timer. the other was set to 3 mins but needed two dunks on its first clean. So I cranked this one up to 6 and a half mins. It did come out clean, but with the other I gave it a half time polish which made the item bling, so in reality, I’ll most probably set this one to 3 mins, quick rub, then another 3 mins before a final finish.

Noise wise, Id say this one is louder, not like a plan taking off loud but I can hear this one over the other when they are both turned on.

It would be nice if there was a small sample of proper ultrasonic cleaner included with this as anyone trying it with plain water alone won’t be getting the best results. If you add even a little ‘ultrasonic jewellery cleaner’ or something similar the surfactants lower the surface tension of the water, making the ultrasonic cavitation easier, along with the detergents to assist with cleaning etc. It does make a notable difference to the performance and once you use the correct liquid I was actually quite blown away with how effective this was for just a relatively compact unit.

This is a fab little cleaner, especially for glasses and jewellery. You’ll be surprised at the grime that comes out of them. I daren’t put my watch in, even though it’s waterproof, as I don’t know how the oscillating water will affect it

WORD OF WARNING – do NOT put emeralds in there. They will crack (didn’t happen to me but to a friend of mine).

I didn’t know what to expect from this, and thought that it might be one of those gadgets that sits in a cupboard and is never used. I was wrong.

This is a very impressive machine for cleaning jewellery. When a few relatives were round recently, we used it to clean quite a few pieces, and the results were excellent. It is unfortunate that we didn’t take before and after pictures, but it really made several rings, bracelets, watches and pendants look like new again.

For the current asking price of 29.99, this is a real bargain. Highly recommended.

I am pretty happy with this ultrasound jewellery cleaning box. It just works amazingly ! I did on my old jewelleries. They look very shinier than before. You can dry it by some soft cloth and give a wipe with polish wipe. I was watching some dirt and old fabric from clothes came out from the gaps of the cubic zirconia stones. I also tried on our wedding rings and my engagement ring. It does make them shinier and cleaner. Very happy with it . You can set different timer as you wish. Simple switch on and off. There is a basket tray and an arch tray provided for glass wash and jewelleries. Good quality

    Very happy with the resul

This is generally a good, compact little ultrasonic cleaner, although the accompanying manual could be more detailed. In the box you get the cleaner, a basket, a watch holder, and a little instruction booklet. The cleaner is easy to use. There is a max fill line on the inside — though if you’re using this with the plastic basket inserted you need to leave a bit of space below the line to allow for displacement. You can’t see the fill level line when the basket is inserted, so this requires a bit of guess work. There are buttons on the front of the device to select the cycle and turn it on/off. The lid is a clear blue so you can see in whilst this is in use, and the device can be used with things partly in the water and the lid left open.

I used this with my spare specs first: they were going a little yellow at the pads to relieve pressure on the bridge of the nose, had some finger print smears and a white fleck on one of the lenses. After a 180 second cycle in cool water with no added detergent they came out sparkly clean.

Where the manual falls down a bit for me is in failing to mention the purpose of the basket (on another ultrasonic cleaner I reviewed, this was specifically noted as designed to hold glasses), and failing to give any kind of hint as to what time cycle is best for what type of object. I also note that the manual contains no specific references to jewellery with stones and tarnished silver — some ultrasonic cleaners warn against using these.

Effective cleaner, though instruction manual is a bit sparse

This is really nice to have. It does a great job cleaning glasses, earrings, and necklaces. They all come out looking new. I notice some fine scratches on my glasses, that were previously masked by dust but now that they are clean, I can see them. This cleaner is incredible, it really flushes out dirt that would be very difficult to remove using a cleaning cloth.

Clear instructions are included, so the cleaner is easy to use.

I’ve now used this small ultrasonic bath for cleaning all sorts of intricate things that are difficult to get clean, such as metal watch bands, rings, bracelets, necklaces, penknives, headphone eartips and spectacles.
The instructions are clearly laid out and easy to follow. The default time for operation is 3 minutes (180 seconds displayed) which is enough for most objects that are worn. If something’s very dirty I can extend the time if needed.
I fill the bath to the maximum mark with hand-warm water as this helps with shifting grime. 2-3 drops of washing up liquid can be used to loosen grease. The machine vibrates loudly to tell you it’s in operation. I can use it with the lid open but the instructions warn not to put fingers in the bath whilst it’s working to avoid injury to skin. If I’m doing watch straps I don’t immerse the watch itself but keep it out of the bath using the plastic bridge supplied with the kit, whilst the strap is immersed.
After a three minute ultrasonic bath the objects being cleaned can be removed and rinsed under the tap, then dried.
The results are easy to see, especially with pairs of glasses. I’m very happy with this device, which is big enough to clean things up to 6 inches in length. For 29.99 I think it’s a good investment.

This is the second ultra sonic cleaner that I have tried. This is a bit more expensive, but I would say the performance is s little better and the timer gives more options. I find a small amount of washing up liquid makes a difference. This works well on spectacles and watch straps as well as jewelry. I am happy with this and happy to recommend.

This review is for the VEEAPE Jewellery Cleaner, 43khz Ultrasonic Cleaner 600ml Professional Ultrasonic Bath Cleaner with Cleaning Basket Watch Stand Digital Timer for Jewelry Glasses Silver Pendant Coin Metal Razor Denture

29.99 at the time of review.

It comes well packaged and protected and the box looks good enough to be a present to someone.

It is easy to set up and easy to use and large enough for spectacles, watches and so on as well. You also get a basket to put items into, as well as a watch support for waterproof watches.

I could see the vibrations going through the water when it was on, but there weren’t that many bubbles that I could see. However, once finished, the spectacles I tried in it came out really well, especially the nasal rests which tend to accumulate stuff over time. Rings were equally cleaned up with a minimum of fuss as well.

I filled it from the kettle to help the water into the tank more easily, then tipped the water out of tank into the sink when I had finished. Dried the whole thing off, including the basket, and it was ready to go again. The small instruction booklet gives you some suggestions but it’s pretty straightforward to use. The only negative was that my spouse didn’t like the matt finish to the outside and the colour of the transparent part of the lid. Personally, I liked the lid, but there you go.

It sits on the higher side of average for price, but I liked the little readout as I found it more easy to use than a single button and a fixed timer, so with that in mind and the colour thing, I am going to give 4 stars to this ultrasonic cleaner and am more than happy to recommend it — if you like the colours.
