Absolutely perfect picture quality and sound. Only criticisms are the motion detection is very sensitive so you could have 200+ activations a day if there’s heavy traffic near your house as there is with mine. There’s a small lag on the bell being pressed and the notification coming up. I find delivery people don’t wait for an answer anymore. They just leave the stuff on the step as they know you can see it from anywhere.
I love it and would have no problem recommending it.
Recently purchased this Camara door bell due to the fact I live in a very rural area and had my car stolen from the drive [thankfully I got it back] I can’t find any faults with this product one bit! You can zoom in on your videos and on live. Brilliant that I can talk to people through the Camara when somone is at the door. Another thing I find so sweet my son when he leaves for work he looks in the Camara and says “love you mum have a good day @ work I see you when I’m home ” All in all its a great product to the point I’m going to purchase another. And it’s not so expensive eithe
I initially bought a Ring doorbell but sent it back when the chime didn’t arrive with is and was told there was a month’s delay. This doorbell had good reviews and a fraction of the cost so took a chance. It was so easy to set up you don’t need to pay for cloud storage unless you feel it’s necessary. It’s managed through the App and the only thing I needed to work out was the movement settings, so it only picked up what I need.
I also recommended it to my neighbour who bought one and is very happy with it.
Works well and the installation was easy. Does take several seconds to connect to phone and there is a delay when talking via the mic etc. Still, excellent value
For the money I don’t think you can go wrong! Video quality is excellent and the app is easy to use. Comes with free cloud storage too, something few other video doorbells offer.
Installation was very straightforward, although watch out for the grub screw as it’s very small and easily dropped.
Battery life is good and recharging is simple. Just plug the USB cable in and wait!
Really excellent doorbell for the price very clear picture and real easy to install and the battery life is very good its been in use for nearly a month now and I’m yet to charge it I’d highly recommend this to anyone I’m wheelchair bound and struggle to get to the door in time so I just need to answer via the app and it is no longer a problem I wish that I had of purchased this a lot sooner 2 big thumbs up
brilliant product , so impressed shown it the brother in law , who asked us to order him one straight away also my daughter got one , picture does not do it justice ( no very good at screen shot ) so east to install and easy to charge up and easy for sharing to other mobiles . if i can do it any one can that easy ( 68 yrs old )
This lags a lot, it was hard to connect as it wouldn’t scan/read the code… it’s a nightmare, when their costumer service is contacted they just tell you to restart the router and disconnect and connect the camera again, to make sure the wifi is strong and to reposition the router if necessary. When this doesn’t work then that’s it, you’re left with a laggy camera.
It is simple to use and set up and extremely good for the price. Can be accessed from second mobile phone. Quality picture as well.

The night vision is pretty poor for anything that is not up close to the doorbell. The item has lost connectivity quite a few times also.
But I would recommend the item for its look, ease of use, capabilities and cost.
This is a good product for a reasonable price. Motion detection is excellent and the resolution of the picture is HD. You don’t have to pay a monthly price. I’m having trouble sorting out the settings but nothing serious. I’m sure I’ll learn how to do it. Battery life seems very good, which was a concern.
After a good friend of mine had his house broke into I decided to try a door bell camera for some piece of mind. I saw this camera had the same specs as some of the higher priced cameras. I wasn’t disappointed with the purchase. The day vision and night vision are excellent and free cloud storage with the option to upgrade..Fantastic.
I brought this fir the front door. It has a wide area coverage , good motion coverage too. Easy to instal and charge. Connection to Wi-Fi is sometimes poor when I’m out but that’s because I don’t have great signal in my area. The voice control is sometimes lagging but over all I am very pleased with it . The price I paid was a lot cheaper then the leading market ones. You can subscribe for more storage but I don’t . Charging is everyday 7-10days with no motion detection. If you have motion set high charging every few days .
I did a lot of research before buying this video door bell. We have had transparent glass door fitted and as there are white columns either side of the external porch, there was a very narrow space to put the door bell. This was the narrowest I could find. It fits perfectly and has a very clear image (even though the right hand half of the picture of of the column, not the bell’s fault). It was very easy to set up (I managed that) and very easy to install (my husband did it in about ten minutes). The battery has lasted nearly three weeks before we have needed to charge it. We are very pleased with the bell.

Had a small problem with the Aiwis app so I changed it for the LiveHome app it has the same features and works perfectly picture quality very good see screenshot also night vision first rate all in all very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend this product.
It is a well constructed, well built and well thought out product. Apart from allowing us to discuss drop off details with delivery people, or with friends who pop round when we’re not in. It also gives us proof of when delivery people say that they have delivered things at times and to places people they say they have, and it’s not true.
What isn’t particulary helpful is the minute size of the security screw that fits into the bottom to prevent it getting stolen. It is useful that it’s sosmall to stop anyone quickly undoing it – even finding it! but it;’s so small and fiddly that it is so easy to drop, they only provide 1 – which is useless, and they rpovide no serial numebr of repalcement screws. -Luckily, I happened to have some more, But not many……
Purchased this video doorbell after reading reviews of several different makes, including ones that are a lot more expensive. We settled on this one and so glad we did. The initial set up was so easy to follow and took no time at all. The picture quality we get is outstanding, even at night. My only criticism would be that it doesn’t always start to record people until they are actually at the front door, despite having it set capture a wider area. This is a minor irritation though. It’s amazing how differently people behave with it up. Delivery drivers used to knock on the door if we were lucky, put the parcel on the doorstep and walk off. Now they have all stood and waited and actually hidden items when we’re not in.
Brilliant price, really easy to set up and connect to my phone. Picture quality is great even at night. My house is 3 floors, and the plug in ringer isn’t as loud as my old bell, but easily purchased an add one for about 13 & connected that easily too. Clear audio via the bell too, its made life a lot easier when the postman knocks and I’m up on the top floor!

Great doorbell for the price we paid. It holds charge for months and I find it really useful especially working from home while in zoom meetings so can keep an eye on what’s going on without having to leave meetings. Great picture quality and chime is loud enough to hear upstairs without being too loud.
Go for more expensive if you want but ultimately a deterrent is what I wanted, if someone wants to break in they will, no matter the the door bell, this deters the opportunist, cheap and does the job, battery could be better but it’s fine, I get about 8 days, bought another rechargeable battery that I swap in and out.
I bought this a few days ago. I can say I am happy with it.
The app is user friendly and the camera is very easy to set up. I’m happy with the battery life, I read in some other reviews that the battery life wasn’t that great but I have found it absolutely fine. It was on 89% when I received it and it’s been on constantly for 4/5 days and only dropped to 50%.
The night vision is great, no issues. Sometimes it doesn’t capture the motion straight away as in the video, there is a slight delay occasionally.
My one and only issue is the delay from someone pressing the doorbell button and the app alerting me. It sets off the indoor chime instantly but it takes a good 2 seconds to register on my phone but that’s it, no other complaints.
For the price, this really is fabulous quality. The images are crystal clear, there is no lag from doorbell to phone, and the two way voice control is a great little piece of kit. Having seen others at a much higher price, I would still stick with this one for the incredible quality.
So I was unsure about getting a doorbell camera as a few of my friends have a better known brand and unfortunately have battery issues as well as having to pay for storage. So I thought I would buy this one and see how it goes. I have had it a few weeks now and it’s fantastic, the picture equality is amazing for both day and night, you can change the sensitivity of the motion detection as well and the biggest bonus is that the storage is free. Definatley worth buying if you’re looking for a doorbell cam at half the price of some others.
Haven been using this device for a few weeks now, it has good motion sensor and image quality is good.
however the image looks dark as mine was installed in a small porch. It would be perfect if the device can light up automatically while doing the motion sensor.
After searching for ages for a doorbell that didnt need to be hardwired in, easy to install and got great reviews, i came across the KAMEP Video Doorbell. We have had it 3 weeks now and still doesn’t need charged. So easy to install, no drilling or need for a electrician, great picture quality day and night. It’s got great detection so no chance off missing anyone about your premises. It’s great piece of mind when your away from the house, that at a tap of a button you can check all is ok. Also if anyone calls while your away you can speck to them through it. Very easy to install it onto different family members phones so everyone has access. The chime box has good sound quality, so no chance of not hearing the doorbell ring and a great range of different ring tones. Very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend.
Very easy to install and set up. Works well and videos are saved for 3 days so no subscription needed. It’s good that a chime is included unlike some more expensive doorbells.

Very impressed great picture quality picks up everything you want it to the app is easy to use and the range on the camera is very good looks discreet on the door was a bit worried because it’s so cheap but after using it I’m very impressed equally as good as the more expensive ones and the battery life is also really good

I wanted it as my daughter has Autism and has a tenancy to wander off ! As much as I try to lock the doors, sometimes I forget, sometimes she finds the keys! But with this I get a notification for motion detected outside so I will know if she has gone outside.
It’s also fab for amazon deliveries when your not home. You can speak to them through the doorbell and tell them where to leave it.
Only downside is my husband gets notifications everything I get home and finds it funny to try and scare me through the damn thing !!!
This doorbell is very good, picture quality is good day and night, its wide view covers my whole front yard and some of my neighbours also.. i get notifications on ma phone when i am out if it sense motion on my front very good this doorbell would defo recommend
Since purchasing this camera doorbell it has performed well. After almost a month of use the battery is still showing 61% life remaining. Picture is good both day & night and it helps that you can set the alert distance. Big bonus is its subscription free albiet this only allows recordings to be kept for a maximum of 3 days but you can download and save anything you wish to keep to your phone. All in all a good purchase
Can’t fault it. Worth every penny. By far superior to the rubbish one I had previously. Customer service excellent. They educated me, I couldn’t hear, and couldn’t be heard. Dur me! My tablet/phone volume were too low.

Having done that classic “lockdown thing” of building an office at the end of the garden, suddenly we started to miss those all-important home office deliveries. But the KAMEP video doorbell has changed all that. Decent integration with iPhone and even Apple Watch means, whether we’re in the garden office – or, indeed, anywhere, out and about – we can talk to the postman / delivery drivers and get them to either wait or leave packages in a secure place. Works really well and reliably and so much better than finding a series of cards announcing frustrated non-deliveries. Decent battery life, excellent camera, good (sometimes too good, but it’s perfectly possible to tune it for sensitivity) motion detection. It does exactly what we wanted a video doorbell to do.
It was very easy to I talk. If I can do it, anyone can as I’m a complete Frank Spencer with most things.
Doesn’t always pick up people coming to the house and standing right beside it.

I personally would safe the extra money and purchase a better brand bell for that full piece of mind.
Setup is pretty straight forward. Wifi credentials needs to be entered manually and transferred via a QR code, which is pretty modern. However network name must be entered as it is (Eg: MagicNet) in order for it to detect. Motion detection and is in high standard and it can be controlled via the app. Alerts are quick as well. However, it’s a shame that there is no option to control the microphone sensitivity. Night vision is acceptable standard but foggy days may not be as good as normal days. Otherwise, device for it’s price is definitely a good bargain. Battery on the other hand is quite stable as long as Live mode is not used often. Need to charge for 14 hours in case it goes down. So having a pair of battery handy with a recharger is an alternative option. Free 3 days rolling cloud storage is a great option as it reduces the need for a memory card.
From previous reviews I was a bit worried about the battery life, but so far the battery still shows 72% after 5 days, which is better than I expected. The humanoid detection works great and the picture quality is crystal clear. All in all, this product does everything I need and is great value for money.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from a cheaper, non-branded video doorbell, but I wanted something that was small, didn’t connect to the mains, came with a chime and replaceable/rechargable batteries, and covered a small area outside my front door and window (I live in a basement flat) and this fitted the bill at a good price, so figured it was worth a shot.
Installation was easy, and the clever fish-eye lens meant that it could be installed at virtually any height/position on the front of my property and still give broadly the same image, which is great. Camera quality is decent, even at night. The app isn’t very intuitive but works fine (however I don’t always get push notifications every time the sensor is triggered) and the footage is captured for review with the free cloud storage.
After a few days I reduced the sensitivity of the camera, as being on a terraced London street my neighbours were constantly triggering it, but even at the lowest setting it covers the entire area I need it to. I’m not sure how long the battery will last, as it’s down to 80% after 2 weeks, but if it lasts 10 weeks that seems quite reasonable.
I’m honestly surprised how good it is – I was worried I would regret not going for a named brand, but this is definitely my top purchase of 2022 so far. I’ve also been quite surprised at what happens in front of my flat when I’m not there, from erroneous Deliveroo attempts to random marauding toddlers using my steps as a climbing frame. Hours of entertainment!
Set up via the Aiwit App is straightforward . The door bell was paired with internet and up and running within 10 minutes. Fixing to wall requires drilling for two provided screws . There is also a small security screw on underside. The picture quality is excellent . The range for motion detection can be adjusted. I needed to decrease range as passers by were setting off sensor. The night vision picture is quite clear . The wireless chime could be louder. I have it on full volume but is still not loud enough . Also when talking to someone outside when they activate door bell they find it difficult to hear due to traffic noise. Despite these sound issues the device is well made , good value for money and works well .
Easy to set up on your phone. Motion sensors and night vision is brilliant. I did have a technical issue which was fully dealt with immediately using the chat to customer service directly. Very happy with everything and a lot of kit for your money. I spent quite a while researching and this one kept coming up. I bit the bullet and I’m over the moon I did!
Very impressed for the value for money and what you get the doorbell camera, very easy to setup just pointed the doorbell at the QR Code in the mobile app and it connected via WiFi, picture quality is surprisingly good at 1080 HD resolution, you can listen and be heard very clear through the doorbell via the phone app while in the app you have the ability to turn on the doorbell mic any time without the need of the doorbell being pressed if want to earwig on a conversation happening outside your property.
I like the free cloud but concerned what would happen if the company went bust there would be no cloud and the doorbell rendered useless, I would like to see in the future a firmware upgrade with an option to upload to your own cloud like Dropbox with a 3 day storage via Dropbox so the company can sell their own cloud storage service which is reasonably priced.
The only real issue I have is not really the doorbell but the software app on Android always asking permission to exit when exiting the app, it’s quite annoying.
Well pleased with my purchase as good as expensive ones my daughter paid over 100 for hers and she thinks mines better great value at 55 quid and it let’s you know who’s ringing my bell

Might be worth investing in spare rechargeable batteries to avoid having to wait for the batteries to charge. It’s not an issue, I charge the batteries roughly every 4 weeks, it takes a 3-4 hours to fully charge.
I loved the variety of sounds available for the ring, the live view of the camera was clear enough both in day/night mode for me with quick response on the app. Delighted with my purchase and would highly recommend!

Great picture quality, nice features but the only issue is the range. I’m constantly getting notifications on my mobile whenever a car drives past or someone walks past but don’t get notifications when someone is actually standing on my door step.
Bought this as a Black Friday deal and what a bargain, picture quality is excellent and I like the fact it highlights people who walk into view and get picked up by the camera so you can see them first. Caught out Unprofessional delivery driver’s already a real eye opener.
We have been using this video doorbell for about a month after having a parcel stolen from out front doorstep. The battery lasts long and we have only just recharged it after the first use. The motion detector is very responsive and so be prepared to get 20+ alerts a day. Picture quality is great, including night vision. There was one instance when the image was blurry but then cleared as the day went on-I assume some moisture got onto the camera. Sound is also very good. We have plugged the door chime into the other end of the house and it is loud enough to hear. The alerts on your phone are really useful, so you can keep an eye on what’s going on even when you’re not at home. For the price, this product is just as comparable as the more expensive versions on the market. Highly recommended.

I read reviews for similarly priced products and often the battery life was quite poor. Although it doesn’t seem to charge and hold it at 100%, the battery does last. I was able to set it up and install it pretty easily. I tend to adjust the settings for motion detection depending on whether I’m home or away simply within the app. Overall I’m happy with the product, it does what I intended it to do, I would buy it again.

I received this a few days ago so it’s too soon to give a reliability report. However, it’s looking good so far.
This is the T8 model which has a very good image quality and pretty good night vision too. Build quality is good and tech support is provided through Amazon (not tried Amazon support so cannot vouch for it).
Installation was fairly straight forward but it’s worth knowing two things:
1 In pairing mode, the red light referred to in the instructions is a small LED and not a circular light as shown in the instructions.
2 When you’ve installed the app and got everything set up, it takes a while – probably 10 to 15 minutes for it all to register with the doorbell. Initially, my doorbell didn’t register movement or tell me when the bell was pushed.
Having set it up – and waited – it’s a great doorbell at a very good price. Highly recommended!
You can recharge the batteries through a USB cable but this means you don’t have use of the bell whilst the batteries are charging.
I would recommend ordering a pair of rechargeable batteries and a charger so that I can just swap the batteries when the ones in the bell are discharged.
I’m disabled so I can ask people to leave things and take my time getting to the door.
It took me no time to set it up, instructions are clear and easy to follow.
The picture quality is excellent, as is the night vision. Wouldn’t be without it!

Easy to install and powers up in a jiffy. Linking up video and audio via the app to our mobile phones is great as it allows us to see whoever is calling and they can leave a message too. The big bonus is the endless amount of chimes to suit your mood. We’ve chosen a well known Xmas jingle!! Good value for money? Without a doubt and doesn’t break the bank in order for you to keep up with the Jones’s either.

The first one I had worked for about six weeks but failed after a night of fairly heavy rain. Upon opening the casing there was water inside so that one wasn’t fully waterproof. The seller quickly sent me a replacement which was wonderful and so far that one is working okay another four weeks later. I would suggest that if you can you position in a place with an element of shelter because it may be that all of them aren’t 100% waterproof but only water resistant which makes outdoor positioning a bit of a vulnerability.
The camera itself is amazing, it’s very easy to set up, the clarity of picture is great and its reliability of response is pretty good too. The battery lasts about three weeks which is a bit of a pain but as long as you can unplug it and charge it in a few hours and put it back again it’s fine. The pricing is good and I think it’s good value for money and I would buy another one.
Was delivered really quickly. Found the set-up easy to navigate. Worked well for a day and then only intermittently. Contacted customer service and after several emails we established it was obviously faulty and they did not hesitate to replace. Second one works perfectly. Motion sensitivity is really good and picture sharp for both day and night. Seems so far to be a really good model and is excellent value for the money. Can’t fault customer service-very helpful

Setting this doorbell up I’m impressed by the clarity of the picture both in daylight and night vision.
Set up is easy and straightforward.
It’s worth noting that you need a good Wi-Fi signal for it to work (annoying when you’ve just moved house and broadband isn’t yet activated but you’re getting (and missing lots of deliveries!)
Cons: Battery life is insanely poor. After charging for 24 hours the battery was still only at 96%. With deliveries expected today I had to install it anyway. In the time it took to pair with the plug in chime and slot in to the housing outside, all of about 3 minutes, it had dropped to 89%. In the time it’s taken me to write this review it’s now at 83%. This is with motion detection switched off!
Today is the last day I can return the doorbell. If the battery doesn’t last the day it’ll be going back which is a shame as I think it’s great apart from the fact it takes longer to charge than it holds the charge. No point having a doorbell for less than half the time.
UPDATE: The battery life is OK. With no motion detection it lasts about 6 weeks. It seems that the battery life indicator in the app is completely random.
The app also will not show who is at the door, despite a snapshot popping up on my watch, and if you’re out of the house, you can’t talk to the person at the door – connection is so slow, they’ll be long gone before you get through. Overall, it’s great value for money, especially if the app improves in future updates
Very easy to set up by following the instructions. It can over-sense motion such as passing cars and even the sun shining through moving tree branches. The bell can be made very loud if desired. Used for about a months and the rechargeable battery is still over 75% charged. Would recommend for the price.
I like its price, I have discovered that I have not connected the doorbell to its receiver , though I thought I had. Once I have figured that out all will be fine.
Great item, good price, have to charge for several hours before using but was reasonably easy to set up whilst charging using the QR code, got bit confused sharing with wife’s phone but managed after couple attempts. Picture quality is really good both day and night as can be seen in photos, also comes with a plug in melody ringer which has several times to pick from. Overall quite impressed with door bell and app works well only slight issue is the motion sensor being bit sensitive even when turn low, got continuous notifications as picks up plants blowing in wind, but if turn off notifications solves this issue. Would definitely recommend this
Easy to set up, excellent video quality. You can change the sensitivity of the motion detection and turn off notifications if needed. Has live view and two way audio. It stores recordings for 7 days but you can download videos to your phone if you want to keep one. There is no subscription charge and you also receive a chime. You have to pay extra with some other video doorbells.
Important consideration: I have been contacted by the vendor through their app and offered this new doorbell against a review.

I was positively surprised by the packaging which really gives you the impression that you are unpacking a high quality object.
The box contains everything you need to get started, including the batteries.
I was really pleased to find a small white chime which is a real improvement from my previous one.
Pulling the batteries protection immediately put the doorbell in pairing mode. As I already had the app running on my phone the setup took me really less than 3 minutes!!
The device is reasonably small and looks definitely nicer than my older model.
The doorbell really works nicely and the motion detection is efficient (maybe even too much to be perfectly honest… I set it to the lowest sensitivity and it still detects people walking by 10 m away!).
My previous door bell had a flashing button on motion detection which was really a nice feature that I regret has not been kept on this new model.
The notification works correctly but is occasionally lagging a bit… I don’t really know why.
The vendor is now offering a cloud storage of the videos (up to 3 days for free or for longer on a pay for plan).
I am not entirely convinced that this is a really good feature or only a way to generate some incomes for the vendor. Anyway 3 days are most probably enough if we think about it!
The quality of the video (1080p) is good but I have to admit that I cannot see much difference with my previous one which was only 720p.
I have now ran this new doorbell for a week and I am really pleased with it.
I would therefore highly recommend it as it certainly does very well everything you would expect from a video doorbell and it remains a fantastic value for money in comparison to other doorbells on the market.
It was easy to set up the doorbell a little more difficult getting it onto the front door but it has worked extremely well but early days it has not been on a week. I hope it will continue to provide the excellent performance it has so far.
Great priced video doorbell. Was on offer with a coupon . The video quality is fantastic , as is the night mode . Pics up motion well , maybe too well as it was Halloween and kept picking up our cobwebs that were blowing about ha ha !! Great doorbell though , and easy to set up and share with the rest of the house hold
We had the old version of this and loved it! The picture quality is amazing, even better on this one. It is very sensitive so fab in the right environment for detection. I think the battery in the old one is better. The chime included in the pack is smaller than the old one. It is a great quality product.
The battery is just not as good As the old one which is a shame. Highly recommend
The door bell was really easy to set up with the App, it took less than 10 minutes.
The picture quality is excellent and surprisingly good at night.
So far the 3 days of cloud data storage has been more than enough.
The only slight criticism would be that the motion sensor even at the lowest setting, is very sensitive. The pavement in front of my house is about 3m from my front door and it picks up passers by on the lowest setting. I have just resorted to turning the motion detection and alerts off.
I cant really comment on the duration of the battery life as of yet but it does not seem to bad.
Very glad I purchased this item as my first digital doorbell – excellent quality. Easy to set up and use. Great quality of sound and picture, even at night. Excellent support and guidance on queries. Very easy to set up phone app too. Would definately reccomend.
Pros – excellent picture quality day and night vision is superb.
Audio is fantastic , once triggered can hear audio 30 metres away.
App is very easy to use and pair with door chime.
Chime has multiple tones so can have fun changing them seasonal too.
Battery life is excellent, I used this as was tired with the Arlo battery life and had this one several weeks and only used a fraction of the battery so would expect it will need charging once every 4 months or so.
3 days free cloud storage built in and also the option to download clips individually phone to keep permanently . Paid storage options are clearly displayed on the app which is great to see.
Cons- Motion requires work/development to remain competitive.
There is no option to set boundaries so it triggers for non events. Changes in lighting conditions cause a motion trigger even on lowest setting so a cloud going past the sun will be an event.
Motion sensitivity can be high medium or low. This feels like it actually works on distance instead of motion so the lowest setting will trigger when actually at the door.
The viewing angle is 166 degrees horizontal but quite tight vertical so needs to be set quite high to get a headshot.
Overall , I would be happy to recommend and if the development team could action the points raised , this would be a candidate for best camera on the market.
I purchased this doorbell a few months ago. Easy to install. Video quality day and night is very clear. Motion detection is great, however when it’s increased it will pick up the leaves moving by the wind, so it gets over sensitive and the batteries will drain much faster. The notifications are sent to my mobile phone and you get free cloud storage. So far it seems reliable and I am happy with it.
Full declaration I was sent this product to review as I had purchased the original earlier model. This doorbell is slim, sleek, and does work very well for the price. It’s easy to pair with the chime and the picture quality is very very good (including night vision) the only down point for me would be the motion detection. It is very sensitive and does not allow you to set perimeters of an area you want to view. So you’re unable to cut out something like a busy road/footpath which means if set to high, the motion detection will go off every time something moves. Other than that, it’s a really good doorbell and far more worth the money that something like a ring doorbell!
This is a great product. It was very easy to set up and the quality of the image is great. It detects motion and provides the alerts straight into your phone. I also get the alerts on my Apple Watch. I can’t comment on the battery life yet, but I have installed it about a month ago and the battery is at 70% now. It stores the images and videos for free (up to the last 3 days) in their cloud service. You can pay for an upgrade, but it is not needed. The chimes also works well inside, you just need to plug it to the socket. Excellent product overall
This doorbell camera is easy to setup with a clear well written instruction manual and I had it connected and running very quickly. The motion detection and notification to my phone works well in my flat with a hallway. Problems are that some motion recordings have a lot of strange screeching static noise for the first few seconds before it seems to settle down and the sound on recordings in general is not great. You need to make sure you have good wifi signal at the door too. The picture is good and the speaker is ok but the ring volume seems to dictate how loud people can hear you when you speak to them through the app so it needs to be kept up. The additional internal chime is good and smart with lots of different chimes (many very cheesy!) but also has more standard chimes. The battery life is good and should last about a month and it charges up pretty quick too. Overall fairly impressed with this doorbell camera, not quite up to the quality of a ring one and is a little glitchy from time to time but overall does what its supposed to do.

If camera can rotate that’s will be perfect because I have to install the cam by the side door not the middle of the door(not wooden door) so cannot detect the person in front face and not clear enough to see whom unless the person stand behind a little bi
This is a great video doorbell, very easy to set up as it does’t require hard wiring, and with the tech specs to rival the more expensive brands. Also, you seem to get free cloaud storage (not tested yet), which means there is no ongoing monthly costs, unlike some of the other video doorbells in the market.
I originally had the ring doorbell but it was laggy and it seemed like I was constantly charging it. But with the KAMEP doorbell it’s easy to setup and is constant and very reliable. I’m able to respond immediately not when the person is walking away or gone. The night vision is fantastic. Not blown out or too dark. I can hear the person through the speaker clearly without delay. And they have no problem hearing me. I’m satisfied with my KAMEP doorbell and with my other KAMEP products and would highly recommend them.
I have the previous model which I wasn’t impressed by when I was approached to have this sent and try it out in exchange for my honest opinion
Overall I like this one so much better, the motion sensor works a lot better and starts recording as soon as it senses motion
The clarity of the recording is really nice, wide angle and it picks up the sound really well. Only downside is you can’t record 24/7 which is a service I would happily pay for

Recieved my video door bell 1 week ago must say this is a excellent product very easy to set up works with an app took me minutes to set up pairing is so easy took seconds i love it because you can turn off the door bell or the video camera at your own leisure straight from the app the picture quality is excellent the night vision too it even notifys you when your out if your home it’s brilliant very easy to install well I got my neighbour as I don’t have a drill lol I would highly recommend this produc
Download the app first and pair before installing. Easy step by step audio talk through for set up from the doorbell itself. Before screwing the plate in use sticky tape to site and test the PIR motion system and re-site if necessary, also check the camera angle with the app. Once you’re happy then secure the backing plate. The camera quality is HD 1080 and very good quality. You can delete unwanted recordings easy enough, I’ve not had to use the Cloud yet. You can also expand the network by adding cameras which I will do. You don’t need the more expensive brand.

Easy to install, quick to set up and once up and running doesn’t seem to need any looking after apart from recharging the batteries when necessary.
Picture and sound quality are very good, response time is perfect and the app is simple to use. Had no problems speaking to a caller when away from home. Happy to recommend!
Very smart looking door bell.
Much easier to pop onto the holder than the previous model. This model only has screw to wall option which isn’t any good as I have a UPVC front door which my previous door bell is attatched with strong adhesive pads.
Would of liked to of been able to stick on to the door but the weight of the device might not hold.
Very easy to set up and install. Scan a QR code and just follow the prompt.
Quality of the picture is very good and the motion detection is great. You can adjust how quick / slow the motion responds. Reassuring to see who’s at the door before you answer.

This cheaper version of the most popular video doorbell is excellent, easy set up with just a few directions.Please dont be put off by the price tag, it’s excellent value for money, clear motion sensor, there is nothing about this I don’t like. Playback on your phone wherever you are, perfect for us.
Bought this for a friend as they wanted to go with a certain expensive overpriced well known door bell brand. Just like the last model…
Quality: Well packaged and presented, with very clear instructions to boot.
The doorbell is made well enough , seems to be robust and worthy of its IP65 rating. This newer model looks more modern and less cumbersome than the last one.
Setup: Connecting the unit to your Wi-Fi, pairing the unit to the app with my phone was so easy and took less than 10 minutes. This gives you plenty of time to run tests and play around with the unit before installation. No longer is the app cloudedge , but AIWIT.
Installation: Very easy to do . Drill a couple of holes in the wall , bang n the rawl plugs and affix the unit . I did find the supplied screws seemed to small and frail . I fear the doorbell could easily be pulled off so I used some 1 inch stainless steel countersunk screws and my own rawl plugs for good measure.
Usage: my friend has an open front garden surrounded by 4 foot hedges I found the motion detection even on low would pick up passers by.
The doorbell has an expected brief delay before the doorbell connects to your phone and sounds the chime. The audio and video are satisfactorily clear and in HD mode the video is very clear. The settings the app provides are very good and you edit various settings to fine tune the unit.
No memory card with this one , but instead we get FREE cloud storage! Why cant they all offer that!
On a final note the chime design is novel, not a plug chime but usb connection. It also now has the chime selector built on the chime itself rather than having to go through the app.

Absolutely perfect picture quality and sound. Only criticisms are the motion detection is very sensitive so you could have 200+ activations a day if there’s heavy traffic near your house as there is with mine. There’s a small lag on the bell being pressed and the notification coming up. I find delivery people don’t wait for an answer anymore. They just leave the stuff on the step as they know you can see it from anywhere.
I love it and would have no problem recommending it.

I initially bought a Ring doorbell but sent it back when the chime didn’t arrive with is and was told there was a month’s delay. This doorbell had good reviews and a fraction of the cost so took a chance. It was so easy to set up you don’t need to pay for cloud storage unless you feel it’s necessary. It’s managed through the App and the only thing I needed to work out was the movement settings, so it only picked up what I need.
I also recommended it to my neighbour who bought one and is very happy with it.
Works well and the installation was easy. Does take several seconds to connect to phone and there is a delay when talking via the mic etc. Still, excellent value
For the money I don’t think you can go wrong! Video quality is excellent and the app is easy to use. Comes with free cloud storage too, something few other video doorbells offer.
Installation was very straightforward, although watch out for the grub screw as it’s very small and easily dropped.
Battery life is good and recharging is simple. Just plug the USB cable in and wait!

brilliant product , so impressed shown it the brother in law , who asked us to order him one straight away also my daughter got one , picture does not do it justice ( no very good at screen shot ) so east to install and easy to charge up and easy for sharing to other mobiles . if i can do it any one can that easy ( 68 yrs old )
This lags a lot, it was hard to connect as it wouldn’t scan/read the code… it’s a nightmare, when their costumer service is contacted they just tell you to restart the router and disconnect and connect the camera again, to make sure the wifi is strong and to reposition the router if necessary. When this doesn’t work then that’s it, you’re left with a laggy camera.
It is simple to use and set up and extremely good for the price. Can be accessed from second mobile phone. Quality picture as well.

The night vision is pretty poor for anything that is not up close to the doorbell. The item has lost connectivity quite a few times also.
But I would recommend the item for its look, ease of use, capabilities and cost.

This is a good product for a reasonable price. Motion detection is excellent and the resolution of the picture is HD. You don’t have to pay a monthly price. I’m having trouble sorting out the settings but nothing serious. I’m sure I’ll learn how to do it. Battery life seems very good, which was a concern.
After a good friend of mine had his house broke into I decided to try a door bell camera for some piece of mind. I saw this camera had the same specs as some of the higher priced cameras. I wasn’t disappointed with the purchase. The day vision and night vision are excellent and free cloud storage with the option to upgrade..Fantastic.
I brought this fir the front door. It has a wide area coverage , good motion coverage too. Easy to instal and charge. Connection to Wi-Fi is sometimes poor when I’m out but that’s because I don’t have great signal in my area. The voice control is sometimes lagging but over all I am very pleased with it . The price I paid was a lot cheaper then the leading market ones. You can subscribe for more storage but I don’t . Charging is everyday 7-10days with no motion detection. If you have motion set high charging every few days .
I did a lot of research before buying this video door bell. We have had transparent glass door fitted and as there are white columns either side of the external porch, there was a very narrow space to put the door bell. This was the narrowest I could find. It fits perfectly and has a very clear image (even though the right hand half of the picture of of the column, not the bell’s fault). It was very easy to set up (I managed that) and very easy to install (my husband did it in about ten minutes). The battery has lasted nearly three weeks before we have needed to charge it. We are very pleased with the bell.

I live on a busy street so I do get a lot of alerts of people just walking by but the battery lasts well, about 2 weeks, despite other reviews.
It is a well constructed, well built and well thought out product. Apart from allowing us to discuss drop off details with delivery people, or with friends who pop round when we’re not in. It also gives us proof of when delivery people say that they have delivered things at times and to places people they say they have, and it’s not true.
What isn’t particulary helpful is the minute size of the security screw that fits into the bottom to prevent it getting stolen. It is useful that it’s sosmall to stop anyone quickly undoing it – even finding it! but it;’s so small and fiddly that it is so easy to drop, they only provide 1 – which is useless, and they rpovide no serial numebr of repalcement screws. -Luckily, I happened to have some more, But not many……
Purchased this video doorbell after reading reviews of several different makes, including ones that are a lot more expensive. We settled on this one and so glad we did. The initial set up was so easy to follow and took no time at all. The picture quality we get is outstanding, even at night. My only criticism would be that it doesn’t always start to record people until they are actually at the front door, despite having it set capture a wider area. This is a minor irritation though. It’s amazing how differently people behave with it up. Delivery drivers used to knock on the door if we were lucky, put the parcel on the doorstep and walk off. Now they have all stood and waited and actually hidden items when we’re not in.
Brilliant price, really easy to set up and connect to my phone. Picture quality is great even at night. My house is 3 floors, and the plug in ringer isn’t as loud as my old bell, but easily purchased an add one for about 13 & connected that easily too. Clear audio via the bell too, its made life a lot easier when the postman knocks and I’m up on the top floor!

Great doorbell for the price we paid. It holds charge for months and I find it really useful especially working from home while in zoom meetings so can keep an eye on what’s going on without having to leave meetings. Great picture quality and chime is loud enough to hear upstairs without being too loud.
Go for more expensive if you want but ultimately a deterrent is what I wanted, if someone wants to break in they will, no matter the the door bell, this deters the opportunist, cheap and does the job, battery could be better but it’s fine, I get about 8 days, bought another rechargeable battery that I swap in and out.
I bought this a few days ago. I can say I am happy with it.
The app is user friendly and the camera is very easy to set up. I’m happy with the battery life, I read in some other reviews that the battery life wasn’t that great but I have found it absolutely fine. It was on 89% when I received it and it’s been on constantly for 4/5 days and only dropped to 50%.
The night vision is great, no issues. Sometimes it doesn’t capture the motion straight away as in the video, there is a slight delay occasionally.
My one and only issue is the delay from someone pressing the doorbell button and the app alerting me. It sets off the indoor chime instantly but it takes a good 2 seconds to register on my phone but that’s it, no other complaints.
For the price, this really is fabulous quality. The images are crystal clear, there is no lag from doorbell to phone, and the two way voice control is a great little piece of kit. Having seen others at a much higher price, I would still stick with this one for the incredible quality.
So I was unsure about getting a doorbell camera as a few of my friends have a better known brand and unfortunately have battery issues as well as having to pay for storage. So I thought I would buy this one and see how it goes. I have had it a few weeks now and it’s fantastic, the picture equality is amazing for both day and night, you can change the sensitivity of the motion detection as well and the biggest bonus is that the storage is free. Definatley worth buying if you’re looking for a doorbell cam at half the price of some others.
Haven been using this device for a few weeks now, it has good motion sensor and image quality is good.
however the image looks dark as mine was installed in a small porch. It would be perfect if the device can light up automatically while doing the motion sensor.
After searching for ages for a doorbell that didnt need to be hardwired in, easy to install and got great reviews, i came across the KAMEP Video Doorbell. We have had it 3 weeks now and still doesn’t need charged. So easy to install, no drilling or need for a electrician, great picture quality day and night. It’s got great detection so no chance off missing anyone about your premises. It’s great piece of mind when your away from the house, that at a tap of a button you can check all is ok. Also if anyone calls while your away you can speck to them through it. Very easy to install it onto different family members phones so everyone has access. The chime box has good sound quality, so no chance of not hearing the doorbell ring and a great range of different ring tones. Very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend.

I wanted it as my daughter has Autism and has a tenancy to wander off ! As much as I try to lock the doors, sometimes I forget, sometimes she finds the keys! But with this I get a notification for motion detected outside so I will know if she has gone outside.
It’s also fab for amazon deliveries when your not home. You can speak to them through the doorbell and tell them where to leave it.
Only downside is my husband gets notifications everything I get home and finds it funny to try and scare me through the damn thing !!!

Since purchasing this camera doorbell it has performed well. After almost a month of use the battery is still showing 61% life remaining. Picture is good both day & night and it helps that you can set the alert distance. Big bonus is its subscription free albiet this only allows recordings to be kept for a maximum of 3 days but you can download and save anything you wish to keep to your phone. All in all a good purchase
Can’t fault it. Worth every penny. By far superior to the rubbish one I had previously. Customer service excellent. They educated me, I couldn’t hear, and couldn’t be heard. Dur me! My tablet/phone volume were too low.

Having done that classic “lockdown thing” of building an office at the end of the garden, suddenly we started to miss those all-important home office deliveries. But the KAMEP video doorbell has changed all that. Decent integration with iPhone and even Apple Watch means, whether we’re in the garden office – or, indeed, anywhere, out and about – we can talk to the postman / delivery drivers and get them to either wait or leave packages in a secure place. Works really well and reliably and so much better than finding a series of cards announcing frustrated non-deliveries. Decent battery life, excellent camera, good (sometimes too good, but it’s perfectly possible to tune it for sensitivity) motion detection. It does exactly what we wanted a video doorbell to do.
It was very easy to I talk. If I can do it, anyone can as I’m a complete Frank Spencer with most things.

I personally would safe the extra money and purchase a better brand bell for that full piece of mind.
Setup is pretty straight forward. Wifi credentials needs to be entered manually and transferred via a QR code, which is pretty modern. However network name must be entered as it is (Eg: MagicNet) in order for it to detect. Motion detection and is in high standard and it can be controlled via the app. Alerts are quick as well. However, it’s a shame that there is no option to control the microphone sensitivity. Night vision is acceptable standard but foggy days may not be as good as normal days. Otherwise, device for it’s price is definitely a good bargain. Battery on the other hand is quite stable as long as Live mode is not used often. Need to charge for 14 hours in case it goes down. So having a pair of battery handy with a recharger is an alternative option. Free 3 days rolling cloud storage is a great option as it reduces the need for a memory card.
From previous reviews I was a bit worried about the battery life, but so far the battery still shows 72% after 5 days, which is better than I expected. The humanoid detection works great and the picture quality is crystal clear. All in all, this product does everything I need and is great value for money.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from a cheaper, non-branded video doorbell, but I wanted something that was small, didn’t connect to the mains, came with a chime and replaceable/rechargable batteries, and covered a small area outside my front door and window (I live in a basement flat) and this fitted the bill at a good price, so figured it was worth a shot.
Installation was easy, and the clever fish-eye lens meant that it could be installed at virtually any height/position on the front of my property and still give broadly the same image, which is great. Camera quality is decent, even at night. The app isn’t very intuitive but works fine (however I don’t always get push notifications every time the sensor is triggered) and the footage is captured for review with the free cloud storage.
After a few days I reduced the sensitivity of the camera, as being on a terraced London street my neighbours were constantly triggering it, but even at the lowest setting it covers the entire area I need it to. I’m not sure how long the battery will last, as it’s down to 80% after 2 weeks, but if it lasts 10 weeks that seems quite reasonable.
I’m honestly surprised how good it is – I was worried I would regret not going for a named brand, but this is definitely my top purchase of 2022 so far. I’ve also been quite surprised at what happens in front of my flat when I’m not there, from erroneous Deliveroo attempts to random marauding toddlers using my steps as a climbing frame. Hours of entertainment!
Set up via the Aiwit App is straightforward . The door bell was paired with internet and up and running within 10 minutes. Fixing to wall requires drilling for two provided screws . There is also a small security screw on underside. The picture quality is excellent . The range for motion detection can be adjusted. I needed to decrease range as passers by were setting off sensor. The night vision picture is quite clear . The wireless chime could be louder. I have it on full volume but is still not loud enough . Also when talking to someone outside when they activate door bell they find it difficult to hear due to traffic noise. Despite these sound issues the device is well made , good value for money and works well .
Easy to set up on your phone. Motion sensors and night vision is brilliant. I did have a technical issue which was fully dealt with immediately using the chat to customer service directly. Very happy with everything and a lot of kit for your money. I spent quite a while researching and this one kept coming up. I bit the bullet and I’m over the moon I did!
Very impressed for the value for money and what you get the doorbell camera, very easy to setup just pointed the doorbell at the QR Code in the mobile app and it connected via WiFi, picture quality is surprisingly good at 1080 HD resolution, you can listen and be heard very clear through the doorbell via the phone app while in the app you have the ability to turn on the doorbell mic any time without the need of the doorbell being pressed if want to earwig on a conversation happening outside your property.
I like the free cloud but concerned what would happen if the company went bust there would be no cloud and the doorbell rendered useless, I would like to see in the future a firmware upgrade with an option to upload to your own cloud like Dropbox with a 3 day storage via Dropbox so the company can sell their own cloud storage service which is reasonably priced.
The only real issue I have is not really the doorbell but the software app on Android always asking permission to exit when exiting the app, it’s quite annoying.
Well pleased with my purchase as good as expensive ones my daughter paid over 100 for hers and she thinks mines better great value at 55 quid and it let’s you know who’s ringing my bell
Very clear photo quality, easy to assemble and install. The only downside is there is a slight delay, but other than that can’t fault it.
Really like the fact you don’t have to pay for a monthly subscription fee.

Might be worth investing in spare rechargeable batteries to avoid having to wait for the batteries to charge. It’s not an issue, I charge the batteries roughly every 4 weeks, it takes a 3-4 hours to fully charge.
Good picture quality, can silence the motion notification for a while, up to 12 hours.

I loved the variety of sounds available for the ring, the live view of the camera was clear enough both in day/night mode for me with quick response on the app. Delighted with my purchase and would highly recommend!

Easy to setup and very good picture quality.
Great picture quality, nice features but the only issue is the range. I’m constantly getting notifications on my mobile whenever a car drives past or someone walks past but don’t get notifications when someone is actually standing on my door step.
Bought this as a Black Friday deal and what a bargain, picture quality is excellent and I like the fact it highlights people who walk into view and get picked up by the camera so you can see them first. Caught out Unprofessional delivery driver’s already a real eye opener.
We have been using this video doorbell for about a month after having a parcel stolen from out front doorstep. The battery lasts long and we have only just recharged it after the first use. The motion detector is very responsive and so be prepared to get 20+ alerts a day. Picture quality is great, including night vision. There was one instance when the image was blurry but then cleared as the day went on-I assume some moisture got onto the camera. Sound is also very good. We have plugged the door chime into the other end of the house and it is loud enough to hear. The alerts on your phone are really useful, so you can keep an eye on what’s going on even when you’re not at home. For the price, this product is just as comparable as the more expensive versions on the market. Highly recommended.

Really happy with this overall. If I have one criticism it is that the battery life isn’t great.
I read reviews for similarly priced products and often the battery life was quite poor. Although it doesn’t seem to charge and hold it at 100%, the battery does last. I was able to set it up and install it pretty easily. I tend to adjust the settings for motion detection depending on whether I’m home or away simply within the app. Overall I’m happy with the product, it does what I intended it to do, I would buy it again.

Two downsides to the camera 1: the motion detection is a bit overkill so I’ve had to switch that off 2: sometimes when watching videos back you get this horrible clicking and buzzing sound from the audio but if you pause the video and play it again or download it then it’s fine. Overall I would definitely recommend!

I received this a few days ago so it’s too soon to give a reliability report. However, it’s looking good so far.
This is the T8 model which has a very good image quality and pretty good night vision too. Build quality is good and tech support is provided through Amazon (not tried Amazon support so cannot vouch for it).
Installation was fairly straight forward but it’s worth knowing two things:
1 In pairing mode, the red light referred to in the instructions is a small LED and not a circular light as shown in the instructions.
2 When you’ve installed the app and got everything set up, it takes a while – probably 10 to 15 minutes for it all to register with the doorbell. Initially, my doorbell didn’t register movement or tell me when the bell was pushed.
Having set it up – and waited – it’s a great doorbell at a very good price. Highly recommended!
You can recharge the batteries through a USB cable but this means you don’t have use of the bell whilst the batteries are charging.
I would recommend ordering a pair of rechargeable batteries and a charger so that I can just swap the batteries when the ones in the bell are discharged.
I’m disabled so I can ask people to leave things and take my time getting to the door.
It took me no time to set it up, instructions are clear and easy to follow.
The picture quality is excellent, as is the night vision. Wouldn’t be without it!

Easy to install and powers up in a jiffy. Linking up video and audio via the app to our mobile phones is great as it allows us to see whoever is calling and they can leave a message too. The big bonus is the endless amount of chimes to suit your mood. We’ve chosen a well known Xmas jingle!! Good value for money? Without a doubt and doesn’t break the bank in order for you to keep up with the Jones’s either.

The first one I had worked for about six weeks but failed after a night of fairly heavy rain. Upon opening the casing there was water inside so that one wasn’t fully waterproof. The seller quickly sent me a replacement which was wonderful and so far that one is working okay another four weeks later. I would suggest that if you can you position in a place with an element of shelter because it may be that all of them aren’t 100% waterproof but only water resistant which makes outdoor positioning a bit of a vulnerability.
The camera itself is amazing, it’s very easy to set up, the clarity of picture is great and its reliability of response is pretty good too. The battery lasts about three weeks which is a bit of a pain but as long as you can unplug it and charge it in a few hours and put it back again it’s fine. The pricing is good and I think it’s good value for money and I would buy another one.
Was delivered really quickly. Found the set-up easy to navigate. Worked well for a day and then only intermittently. Contacted customer service and after several emails we established it was obviously faulty and they did not hesitate to replace. Second one works perfectly. Motion sensitivity is really good and picture sharp for both day and night. Seems so far to be a really good model and is excellent value for the money. Can’t fault customer service-very helpful
Setting this doorbell up I’m impressed by the clarity of the picture both in daylight and night vision.
Set up is easy and straightforward.
It’s worth noting that you need a good Wi-Fi signal for it to work (annoying when you’ve just moved house and broadband isn’t yet activated but you’re getting (and missing lots of deliveries!)
Cons: Battery life is insanely poor. After charging for 24 hours the battery was still only at 96%. With deliveries expected today I had to install it anyway. In the time it took to pair with the plug in chime and slot in to the housing outside, all of about 3 minutes, it had dropped to 89%. In the time it’s taken me to write this review it’s now at 83%. This is with motion detection switched off!
Today is the last day I can return the doorbell. If the battery doesn’t last the day it’ll be going back which is a shame as I think it’s great apart from the fact it takes longer to charge than it holds the charge. No point having a doorbell for less than half the time.
UPDATE: The battery life is OK. With no motion detection it lasts about 6 weeks. It seems that the battery life indicator in the app is completely random.
The app also will not show who is at the door, despite a snapshot popping up on my watch, and if you’re out of the house, you can’t talk to the person at the door – connection is so slow, they’ll be long gone before you get through. Overall, it’s great value for money, especially if the app improves in future updates
Very easy to set up by following the instructions. It can over-sense motion such as passing cars and even the sun shining through moving tree branches. The bell can be made very loud if desired. Used for about a months and the rechargeable battery is still over 75% charged. Would recommend for the price.
I like its price, I have discovered that I have not connected the doorbell to its receiver , though I thought I had. Once I have figured that out all will be fine.
Great item, good price, have to charge for several hours before using but was reasonably easy to set up whilst charging using the QR code, got bit confused sharing with wife’s phone but managed after couple attempts. Picture quality is really good both day and night as can be seen in photos, also comes with a plug in melody ringer which has several times to pick from. Overall quite impressed with door bell and app works well only slight issue is the motion sensor being bit sensitive even when turn low, got continuous notifications as picks up plants blowing in wind, but if turn off notifications solves this issue. Would definitely recommend this
Easy to set up, excellent video quality. You can change the sensitivity of the motion detection and turn off notifications if needed. Has live view and two way audio. It stores recordings for 7 days but you can download videos to your phone if you want to keep one. There is no subscription charge and you also receive a chime. You have to pay extra with some other video doorbells.
Important consideration: I have been contacted by the vendor through their app and offered this new doorbell against a review.
Review: I installed a previous version of the doorbell and I have to admit that I am so far extremely pleased with the new one!
I was positively surprised by the packaging which really gives you the impression that you are unpacking a high quality object.
The box contains everything you need to get started, including the batteries.
I was really pleased to find a small white chime which is a real improvement from my previous one.
Pulling the batteries protection immediately put the doorbell in pairing mode. As I already had the app running on my phone the setup took me really less than 3 minutes!!
The device is reasonably small and looks definitely nicer than my older model.
The doorbell really works nicely and the motion detection is efficient (maybe even too much to be perfectly honest… I set it to the lowest sensitivity and it still detects people walking by 10 m away!).
My previous door bell had a flashing button on motion detection which was really a nice feature that I regret has not been kept on this new model.
The notification works correctly but is occasionally lagging a bit… I don’t really know why.
The vendor is now offering a cloud storage of the videos (up to 3 days for free or for longer on a pay for plan).
I am not entirely convinced that this is a really good feature or only a way to generate some incomes for the vendor. Anyway 3 days are most probably enough if we think about it!
The quality of the video (1080p) is good but I have to admit that I cannot see much difference with my previous one which was only 720p.
I have now ran this new doorbell for a week and I am really pleased with it.
I would therefore highly recommend it as it certainly does very well everything you would expect from a video doorbell and it remains a fantastic value for money in comparison to other doorbells on the market.
It was easy to set up the doorbell a little more difficult getting it onto the front door but it has worked extremely well but early days it has not been on a week. I hope it will continue to provide the excellent performance it has so far.
Great priced video doorbell. Was on offer with a coupon . The video quality is fantastic , as is the night mode . Pics up motion well , maybe too well as it was Halloween and kept picking up our cobwebs that were blowing about ha ha !! Great doorbell though , and easy to set up and share with the rest of the house hold
We had the old version of this and loved it! The picture quality is amazing, even better on this one. It is very sensitive so fab in the right environment for detection. I think the battery in the old one is better. The chime included in the pack is smaller than the old one. It is a great quality product.
The battery is just not as good As the old one which is a shame. Highly recommend
The door bell was really easy to set up with the App, it took less than 10 minutes.
The picture quality is excellent and surprisingly good at night.
So far the 3 days of cloud data storage has been more than enough.
The only slight criticism would be that the motion sensor even at the lowest setting, is very sensitive. The pavement in front of my house is about 3m from my front door and it picks up passers by on the lowest setting. I have just resorted to turning the motion detection and alerts off.
I cant really comment on the duration of the battery life as of yet but it does not seem to bad.
Very glad I purchased this item as my first digital doorbell – excellent quality. Easy to set up and use. Great quality of sound and picture, even at night. Excellent support and guidance on queries. Very easy to set up phone app too. Would definately reccomend.
Audio is fantastic , once triggered can hear audio 30 metres away.
App is very easy to use and pair with door chime.
Chime has multiple tones so can have fun changing them seasonal too.
Battery life is excellent, I used this as was tired with the Arlo battery life and had this one several weeks and only used a fraction of the battery so would expect it will need charging once every 4 months or so.
3 days free cloud storage built in and also the option to download clips individually phone to keep permanently . Paid storage options are clearly displayed on the app which is great to see.
Cons- Motion requires work/development to remain competitive.
There is no option to set boundaries so it triggers for non events. Changes in lighting conditions cause a motion trigger even on lowest setting so a cloud going past the sun will be an event.
Motion sensitivity can be high medium or low. This feels like it actually works on distance instead of motion so the lowest setting will trigger when actually at the door.
The viewing angle is 166 degrees horizontal but quite tight vertical so needs to be set quite high to get a headshot.
Overall , I would be happy to recommend and if the development team could action the points raised , this would be a candidate for best camera on the market.
Perfect doorbell
I purchased this doorbell a few months ago. Easy to install. Video quality day and night is very clear. Motion detection is great, however when it’s increased it will pick up the leaves moving by the wind, so it gets over sensitive and the batteries will drain much faster. The notifications are sent to my mobile phone and you get free cloud storage. So far it seems reliable and I am happy with it.
Full declaration I was sent this product to review as I had purchased the original earlier model. This doorbell is slim, sleek, and does work very well for the price. It’s easy to pair with the chime and the picture quality is very very good (including night vision) the only down point for me would be the motion detection. It is very sensitive and does not allow you to set perimeters of an area you want to view. So you’re unable to cut out something like a busy road/footpath which means if set to high, the motion detection will go off every time something moves. Other than that, it’s a really good doorbell and far more worth the money that something like a ring doorbell!
This is a great product. It was very easy to set up and the quality of the image is great. It detects motion and provides the alerts straight into your phone. I also get the alerts on my Apple Watch. I can’t comment on the battery life yet, but I have installed it about a month ago and the battery is at 70% now. It stores the images and videos for free (up to the last 3 days) in their cloud service. You can pay for an upgrade, but it is not needed. The chimes also works well inside, you just need to plug it to the socket. Excellent product overall
This doorbell camera is easy to setup with a clear well written instruction manual and I had it connected and running very quickly. The motion detection and notification to my phone works well in my flat with a hallway. Problems are that some motion recordings have a lot of strange screeching static noise for the first few seconds before it seems to settle down and the sound on recordings in general is not great. You need to make sure you have good wifi signal at the door too. The picture is good and the speaker is ok but the ring volume seems to dictate how loud people can hear you when you speak to them through the app so it needs to be kept up. The additional internal chime is good and smart with lots of different chimes (many very cheesy!) but also has more standard chimes. The battery life is good and should last about a month and it charges up pretty quick too. Overall fairly impressed with this doorbell camera, not quite up to the quality of a ring one and is a little glitchy from time to time but overall does what its supposed to do.

If camera can rotate that’s will be perfect because I have to install the cam by the side door not the middle of the door(not wooden door) so cannot detect the person in front face and not clear enough to see whom unless the person stand behind a little bi
This is a great video doorbell, very easy to set up as it does’t require hard wiring, and with the tech specs to rival the more expensive brands. Also, you seem to get free cloaud storage (not tested yet), which means there is no ongoing monthly costs, unlike some of the other video doorbells in the market.
I originally had the ring doorbell but it was laggy and it seemed like I was constantly charging it. But with the KAMEP doorbell it’s easy to setup and is constant and very reliable. I’m able to respond immediately not when the person is walking away or gone. The night vision is fantastic. Not blown out or too dark. I can hear the person through the speaker clearly without delay. And they have no problem hearing me. I’m satisfied with my KAMEP doorbell and with my other KAMEP products and would highly recommend them.
Overall I like this one so much better, the motion sensor works a lot better and starts recording as soon as it senses motion
The clarity of the recording is really nice, wide angle and it picks up the sound really well. Only downside is you can’t record 24/7 which is a service I would happily pay for

Easy to install, quick to set up and once up and running doesn’t seem to need any looking after apart from recharging the batteries when necessary.
Picture and sound quality are very good, response time is perfect and the app is simple to use. Had no problems speaking to a caller when away from home. Happy to recommend!
Very smart looking door bell.
Much easier to pop onto the holder than the previous model. This model only has screw to wall option which isn’t any good as I have a UPVC front door which my previous door bell is attatched with strong adhesive pads.
Would of liked to of been able to stick on to the door but the weight of the device might not hold.
Very easy to set up and install. Scan a QR code and just follow the prompt.
Quality of the picture is very good and the motion detection is great. You can adjust how quick / slow the motion responds. Reassuring to see who’s at the door before you answer.

This cheaper version of the most popular video doorbell is excellent, easy set up with just a few directions.Please dont be put off by the price tag, it’s excellent value for money, clear motion sensor, there is nothing about this I don’t like. Playback on your phone wherever you are, perfect for us.
Quality: Well packaged and presented, with very clear instructions to boot.
The doorbell is made well enough , seems to be robust and worthy of its IP65 rating. This newer model looks more modern and less cumbersome than the last one.
Setup: Connecting the unit to your Wi-Fi, pairing the unit to the app with my phone was so easy and took less than 10 minutes. This gives you plenty of time to run tests and play around with the unit before installation. No longer is the app cloudedge , but AIWIT.
Installation: Very easy to do . Drill a couple of holes in the wall , bang n the rawl plugs and affix the unit . I did find the supplied screws seemed to small and frail . I fear the doorbell could easily be pulled off so I used some 1 inch stainless steel countersunk screws and my own rawl plugs for good measure.
Usage: my friend has an open front garden surrounded by 4 foot hedges I found the motion detection even on low would pick up passers by.
The doorbell has an expected brief delay before the doorbell connects to your phone and sounds the chime. The audio and video are satisfactorily clear and in HD mode the video is very clear. The settings the app provides are very good and you edit various settings to fine tune the unit.
No memory card with this one , but instead we get FREE cloud storage! Why cant they all offer that!
On a final note the chime design is novel, not a plug chime but usb connection. It also now has the chime selector built on the chime itself rather than having to go through the app.
