The shoes looked a little flimsy when I got them, but they have supported my feet, which are very flat. Was able to walk around on them for a long time without my feet hurting. My only complaint is where the top of the shoe hits my ankle, it does irritate my ankle a little bit. So just have to wear higher socks!

The shoes are easy to put on, look good and comfortable. Once my feet gets used to them i know they will be great.

These are absolutely darling! I love the green color and the patterned laces. They run very big. I’m normally an 8.5 in shoes and a 9.5 in my running shoes but these are quite comfortable in a 7.5 for me. The toe box is a tad narrow but they quickly melded to my foot (leather bonus!) without any rubbing. I first order the 8.5 and they felt off and looked huge. So definitely size down in this shoe. Definitely a keeper though! Highly recommend for stylish comfort!

pros: nice color, love that they zip up, nice quality, good arch, very comfortable

cons: run a little big, must wear taller socks or they rub on your ankles, look a little clunky

I love being able to adjust the fit with the shoelaces, then use the zipper to put on and off in a hurry.
I’ve bought 3 pair of these and the only thing I’d suggest is to have black soles on the black boots. There’s plenty of support and toe box room for my metatarsal pads, too.

Side zipper feature is great, comfy when on the feet, would be better if it offered a bit more shock absorption while walking. Offers great arch support.

I love these booties. My first priority is comfort and these are very comfortable. They keep me warm and dry in Oregon’ perpetual rain.

Vionic Women’s Magnolia Shawna High Top Booties – Supportive Chukka Walking Shoes are so comfortable and stylish. I really like the fit and look of Vionic shoes, but the comfort I feel push them above other brands in my opinion.

Finally, I have a pair of support shoes that don’t look like orthopedic shoes. These shoes are adorable and fit perfectly! I love them. I think I will buy some other colors. The inside zipper makes them a breeze to put on. Love it.

These shoes are everything I expected…comfortable–except the price. I have been searching for comfortable shoes in which to walk all day without any pains. They did not disappoint. I ordered my normal shoe size and they fit fine. A tad/wee big, hoping they will not expand as I wear them more. I have been looking for a long time for a comfortable shoe that supports my high arch and these work perfect. They came just in time for a long trip. I wore them through airports, walking around the cities that I visited…so glad I had them. I am planning on purchasing another pair, but the prices are a bit steep…different design of course.
At 1st the design did not thrill me. I thought they looked that the shoes were made for seniors, but they look great. Personally, I think the price is too high, but in the end, it’s the comfort of the shoes that mattered to me.

They are not as cute as the picture and the review that said they look like bowling shoes, was spot on!

Despite that, these performed better than my boots in rainy Paris!

I have high arches, short toes and wide feet. Shoes are generally a disaster for me but I lived in these for 10 days- airport travel, walking all day, in the rain and on the beach.

You will need some good cozy socks as these do not block the cold but my feet stayed dry.
They also stretched out a bit but since I wore extra socks I was content with my actual size selection.

***I treated them before I left with a couple sprays of Apple Brand leather spray to protect them against the elements.***

Overall performance is great. My feet, legs, back and neck feel good after long, rainy days. I would buy again and wear wide leg trousers or jeans to hide the hideousness!

I suffer from plantar fasciitis, so I have to be careful with what I wear for shoes. I put these on the first day and taught all day in them with no problems. They are cute, comfortable, and make your feet look narrow although they don’t feel narrow. I also love that once you have the laces where you want them, you can just zip/unzip them. These are true to size and quality shoes you would expect from Vionic. You won’t need an insert with these at all. Super trendy for the comfort. Love them! (I bought the wheat color.)

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAll my sandals, dress shoes, slippers and tennis shoes are Vionic as I have bad knees. I already had these in a different color but love the black! Have already received numerous compliments. Vionic never disappoints.

These shoes are great! They provide very good arch support. The reason I gave them 4 stars is because of the price. $150! I would love to have the other color but I can’t afford them.

This shoe is perfect. It has great arch support. They are soft and extremely comfortable. I love the zipper access. It makes it much easier to get on. I have a broken bone in my foot, and these shoes were perfect after my foot healed to give me support.

I am a full-bodied woman. I recently order two different pairs of high-top high-arch sneakers (both Vionic). This pair is really comfortable. The leather is very soft. But the big bonus for me is that the inner zipper is easier for me to access than a zipper that’s on the outer side of the shoe.

I wore these immediately right out of box. Didn’t take much time… about 1 day really. . to “break in”. There’s a little bit of arch support. Not Much ankle support if that is what you need. I’m between an 8.5 and 9. Went with the 9. Toe box is roomy without my foot feeling like it’s flopping around.
These were great for casual, easy travel days… when you aren’t doing any serious hiking. For instance, great for walking through gift shops, riding a train, hanging out on a sight seeing day cruise, etc.
Easy on and off… love the zipper.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersThese are my new go-to shoes – they’re super cute and match all of my favorite trail walking clothes! They’re also my second pair of Vionic’s so I have some points of comparison:
    – Compared to my Vionic sneakers, these initially felt VERY narrow. I was almost certain I’d be returning them for a while there, but after a week they broke in and started to breathe, making them the perfect width. As a result, I wouldn’t recommend these if you’re currently having foot pain, but they could be great shoes if you have time to break them in!
    – The suede is surprisingly tough! I live in the PNW and have worn them in the rain and slush multiple times. The suede still looks great, even without maintenance. They aren’t waterproof, though, so keep that in mind and avoid deep puddles.
    – The zip up side is genius; I’ve wrecked the back of several boots pulling them on, you won’t have to deal with that here.
    – Flip side is that the height isn’t going to be everyone’s cup of tea; you’ll definitely need to wear taller socks or tuck in your pants/leggings to avoid rubbing your ankles all day.
    – Finally, the arch is SIGNIFICANTLY lower than in my other Vionic shoes. Depending on your feet this might make them a no-go; because of this I wouldn’t recommend these for all day on your feet unless you can do without the arch support. The fit of the boots is pretty close so you’d have a hard (if not impossible) time getting an insole in there.

Overall, I love these shoes. My boyfriend regularly comments on how cute they are when I wear them (he doesn’t notice shoes so they’ve gotta be pretty cute for him to mention them!) and I find they offer good support. I’d definitely recommend these if you can handle the break-in time and lower arches!

I have a small foot for my size so it can be challenging to get a shoe that fits the proportions of my foot to include a high arch and a jut out on the heal that is very prone to blisters if the shoe isn’t perfectly smooth in that area. This one checks all the boxes. I bought it because I was planning doing some trail walking and wanted something more than a sneaker but it is nice enough to wear out and about and it is sooooooo comfortable.

Next time, I think I’ll order the next smaller size, but they’re not far off from a perfect fit. I do like the way they are made, the material they are made of, and how they look. Plus I think they are an especially good value.

Best shoes I’ve ever owned. They look like leather hi top sneakers, so cute with everything.

The 9w fits my wide feet perfectly. Super comfy, I use them to stand at work all day, for walking, all day wear.

Has a little less arch support than most vionics, and should work with orthodics because of adjustable laces.

I discovered Vionics last year and absolutely love them. I have a flexible flat foot with a narrow heel. I am on my feet all day long for work. Normally I wear a 10.5 in shoes (just to add another challenge), but in Vionics a 10 is perfect.
I have worn these a ton and they still fit the same and are comfortable. The only complaint I have is that the seam on the top sometimes rubs my foot. Usually, I just wear a thinker pair of socks to combat this. As much as I am on my feet all day, I don’t run home to tear my shoes off anymore. They are that comfy for me.
These look great too! It’s so hard to find a cute/ regular looking shoe when you have issues with your feet. I get compliments everytime I wear these.

Fabulous trainer but slipped on heel, having order wide size due to toe Pro blems, width was great but did not fit snug enough around heel even with thicker socks. Disappointed as loved the style of the trainer.

I have had plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendonitis so I need to wear insoles in most shoes. However in vionics in general, and these Shawna booties I use the one that is included. They are so comfortable! I can wear them all day and my feet do not hurt. Plus they’re cute. The only downside is I think they are suede so I will have to find something else for wet days.

Based upon a prior review that they ran big I ordered a 9 (I’m generally in between 9 and 9 1/2 depending upon the vionic style) but they were really too snug, definitely not “huge” and the 9.5 fits great.

I wanted water resistant high tops that were not too rigid. These shoes are that shoe. I like the fact that you can adjust the lacing, but once that is done, it’s “zip in, zip out” easy. Even though there is side support, it doesn’t feel like I’m wearing inflexible boxes on my feet.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersI have had plantar fasciitis for quite some time so I am very familiar with the bionic brand. If you have pf and have never tried vionic, you need to! They offer great arch support and overall supportive shoes. This specific shoe seemed to be a tad bigger and I could have ordered a size down. I love the look of the laces and love the ease of the zipper. This is a great shoe for skinny jeans and straight or bootcut jeans. Perfect addition for my fall wardrobe.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThese booties in the photo are one year old and still going strong. I wore them all last fall and winter and most of spring. They give the support you’d expect from a Vionic shoe. They have also given me some ankle stability on those really bad feet days. I am excited for cooler weather and to wear them again. I highly recommend them!

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersThis is my first pair of a Vionic shoe. I was not disappointed! I worried they may be too big because some say this style runs large. That was not my experience. Mine fit perfectly. I love the zipper so I don’t have to tie them. They look really good and I am able to wear them to places/events that I would normally not wear a sneaker. The downside is I worry about rain and mud more than I usually when wearing sneakers. So far, so good.
Update to original review: I like them even more than I did when I first got them! They are comfortable and they look great!

LOVE these shoes! Super cute and probably the most comfy pair of Vionics ever. Nice enough to wear to work. With the side zipper I didn’t even have to untie them when I took them off. I have wide feet and these fit perfectly. Great find.

All I wear is Vionic because the footbed is so comfortable that I no longer suffer the symptoms of plantar faciatis. I wanted a bootie with a zipper that would accommodate thicker socks, so I ordered wide width. They work perfectly with my winter socks and the zipper alliws for easy on and off. The style is cute with jeans or leggings.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMy podiatrist recommends the Vionic brand for good arch support, which is why I decided to try these boots. They are very comfortable and I’m thinking about ordering an additional color.
I normally wear a size 8 narrow, but these are only available in medium and wide so I went down to a 7 1/2 medium. The laces allow a nice snug fit, and I really like the zipper.

Golden Review Award: 17 From Our UsersI already love the Vionic brand. I have some of their walking shoes and love them. But I wanted something a little more stylish then walking shoes to wear. Even though they call these High Top Sneakers they are very nice looking with jeans. My daughter says they look like boots. They are so comfortable and they have a zipper on the inner side of the shoe next to the lacing which makes them even easier to get on. Love them!!!!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI have these shoes on right now in black with black soles. They are very comfortable. I like that they zip up on the inside of the shoe but also have laces to adjust fit. They are warm as well. I don’t mind the firmness of the shoe, this helps with the arch support.

Golden Review Award: 25 From Our UsersI initially felt it was a little too big as I was looking for ankle support for a high top. But after a day realized I would need to wrap my feet from time to time. It’s a beautiful shoe, I felt concerned about getting it messed up. The shoe is made of materials very similar to suede or suede itself. I cant say this shoe has arch support insoles in it. But the soles do feel very comfortable. These are not your Sketcher! They feel better and do feel as light as the Sketcher walkers. But not as heavy as the Sketcher water/slip resistant shoe. This is my first pair of shoes I bought for my flat feet. So I will update if anything changes.
