It appears to be a good product. I use it for arm only exercise which works well. I have a badly torn rotator cuff so, every other day I exercise both arms forward & backward. It helps to reduce pain…

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersLove this, used it from day one of receiving. I sit on a proper chair, use while watching tv. Stable on a carpet or rug. Arm exercising really useful too. Small enough not to take up space and could be put away easily.

I just purchased this because my work is very sedentary and I wanted to keep active while at work don’t have any issues with my knees hitting the table which is good. I have laminate wood flooring and it does slide a little so once I get momentum it’s hard to keep it going because it’ll slide a little to the right. I may put something under it like a mat to keep it from sliding and see if it improves it. As far as resistance it does offer it but you do have to turn the knobs quite a few times to feel it. My advice would be to turn the intensity all the way until you can’t feel it anymore and then ease up on it until you feel the resistance is right. At first I though there was no resistance but once I turned it all the way you could really feel it. I’ll try to update once I put a mat or some of time of grippy liner to see if that’s bette

This was so easy to assemble. It only took ten minutes to put together..
I’ve had a full size exercise bike for years but wanted to try a mini. I’m really glad I chose this one. It’s so easy to use, has a dial to change the resistance, and you can go forward and backward with either your legs or your arms. It only weighs 13 pounds so can be on or under a desk or table.

Sadly, my grandfather is getting older and he had an accident the other day that got him all banged up. It is sad as he was bedridden for a few weeks and lost a lot of strength. He LOVES the hot weather and with spring coming he loved to take walks all around the trails in the city. He is finally up and mobile again, but he is very slow and now has to rely upon a walker, which has made him feel a bit down.

All of us got into riding bikes all over the city trails due to my father-in-law and keep up with each other via various apps. Grandpa wanted to join in the fun but realizes he can’t ride a bike anymore. This past winter father-in-law really got into SWIFT since he couldn’t ride outside, and this gave us all the idea to get him an indoor pedal exerciser. While this doesn’t connect to anything that we use, it will allow him to participate with us as he tells us how much he has ‘ridden’, but the BIG goal is that it helps him start to get some strength he lost due to the fall and bed rest.

He really likes this Vive Pedal Exerciser. One feature he loves is the ability to change the resistance to the exercise, so if he gets used to it, he can up it up to get more of an exercise. We all like it since it is small and can fit under his desk, and it is so quiet you can’t even hear when he is on t. Even if you are video chatting with him since he gets calls from the other grandkids and great-grandkids from around the world.

The LED display is very nice and easy to read even for him, which allows him to keep up with what he has done. I think it is very cool that you can hook it up with an App, but it is a little bit too difficult for him to do without us setting it up for him each time so he just keeps track of it separately, especially if he has an urge to work out at 3 am lol.

I like how sturdy the device is and it can take a beating. It is heavy enough where it will not move even if you are in an extreme exercise mojo. But it is light enough to move around the room. I didn’t realize you could even use this to help tone your arms until recently, so he is going to try this out soon, but really the leg movement is what we are more concerned with.

Overall, this is a great device for the price and is helping my grandfather regained some of his lost strength, which is awesome! I highly recommend it if you are in a similar situation.

Helps grandpa regain his lost strength

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersI am so pleased with this pedal exerciser. I have lost all my muscle tone due to the lockdown I can’t go to the swimming So the pedal exerciser is easy to use,I can watch the tv while I use it and for my arms I sit it on my ironing table . it counts calleries and distance and speed best of all its silent.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWhen I first put it together the pedal got a little stuck, but after a bit of use, it is now working well. It’s very useful that it comes with a strap to secure it to a chair– that really helps keep it in place and if you want to pedal fast.
I’m not a big exerciser but for the current COVID quarantine, it’s a great thing to have at home to work up a sweat and get your heart rate going! Definitely recommend.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersSurprisingly easy to use. Actually works better than expected. One problem is that the machine tends to ‘creep’ during use. The problem was solved by placing it against a heavy peice of furniture while cycling to keep it in one place. A physical therapist recommended this product and so far it seems to be working out my legs.

The only problem is with the petals. Had to take straps off to get petals in grooves to screw to bike. Took a while to get the petals to go into hole, but in time we got it. Never got the foot straps back on so it is uncomfortable to petal. Hard to keep feet on.

I grabbed this product for under 30 bucks as an Amazon warehouse deal (20% discount over reduced price – great!). The only problem is that it slips on the floor (1 star off) otherwise it’s great for effortless exercise.

I bought this little exerciser for my 85 year old mother who has neuropathy. My mother is a go getter about keeping herself going as long as possible and this little machine is helping her do just that. I was concerned the exerciser would slip on the floor when she used it but it stays in place very well. It was very easily put together with no problems. We were afraid it would be just a cheap piece of plastic but it is surprisingly heavier than you would expect but light enough for an elderly person to move around. It has a handle in the back that helps carry it around if you want to use it. I am glad I ordered it and I’m thinking about getting another one for myself.

I have multiple sclerosis and have to use a wheelchair to move about. As I started to work with a new physical therapist, she had me use an arm cycle. I could only do a few minutes at first, but I liked it, so I bought one. When this one arrived, it took all of five minutes to put it together and start working out. Now after three months of use, I am happy to say this is a first-rate product. I’ve had zero problems with it, and recently did three hours of exercise in one day. I can’t say how it works for legs (mine do not work) but for arms it is terrific. What a great product!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI recently had knee surgery and this machine is a great way to keep me moving while at my desk job post physical therapy. I have the pedal exerciser on wood floor, so it moves a little as time goes by. It may stay still of carpet, I’m not sure. It’s not too loud, does make a little noise but not enough that it distracts me while I am on the phone daily. Definitely worth the use and value.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI just had a total knee replacement done and am doing PT from home. I wanted to get a mini bike I could use to help with my PT exercise program. I have so far been enjoying it. I usually do it while watching TV. It’s only been a couple of days since I got it. It is very light and I like that. As long as I have both feet on it before I start pedaling it doesn’t move around, plus I have it on an area rug. I truly believe this mini bike will help strengthen my muscles!

It is a nice size, but, it needs a better non skid surface on the 4 legs. On my hardwood floors it slips all over the place. I had to use non skid perforated rubber shelving mats. They are flagpole and rip up on me.

I Like this , but just got it this past week. So, I am not sure yet, it will solve the problems with the muscles I have had getting weaker in legs and thighs and back.(some due to major surgery on one side ) . I try to use it everyday when I am sitting .It tries to slide on my bare wood floors so I put that rubber stuff to keep rugs from sliding ,underneath it . I do think it will help If I keep using it everyday.

Golden Review Award: 19 From Our UsersI am very happy with my purchase! I work an office job and was growing concerned about the amount of time spent at my desk and the effect on my weight and health. I have had this for three weeks and use it every single day, for about 100 minutes and I have already lost two pounds!

I am 6′ so it is a bit difficult to use directly under my desk but this is a great low profile bike. It is also quiet, but as you can hear in the video it is not completely silent. My coworker has a different model which is louder and less sturdy.

The resistance is great and is easily adjusted. Another coworker bought the same model based on my recommendation. It is quite easy to still get work done while using this bike and the number of calories burned while not exerting tons of effort is amazing. I am very happy with my purchase.

Great, affordable way to keep moving at a desk!

I love everything about this pedeler, with only 1 small exception easily overlooked. The odomoter, etc all reset after reaching certain limits, i.e. 90 minutes, etc. So eep a daily log of the cumulative and daily use and that is easy enough if you want to ensure consistency or improvement. It is accurate and easy to use and super comfortable to use on the couch without interference or at a desk chair, etc. Very helpful for improving leg strength, you can get a good musular workout with this although you won’t get cardio most likely it is still fantastic for the price. I highly recommend.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersAfter a lot of fooling around I finally was able to get the peddle bolts started in the holes in the arms by wiggling the peddles and turning the knurled knobs on the bolts. When the knurled knobs would no longer turn the bolts, I switched to the supplied wrench and with a lot more fooling around was finally able to tighten the bolts firmly in place. The display cannot be set to anything but speed and so is useless to me.

The strap provided to tie the unit to a chair is much too short to be useful. I purchased a roll of one-inch webbing from Amazon and used about half of it to adjust the distance of the unit from my chair and then firmly secure it.

The unit now works well on the floor in front of the chair where I watch TV.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is awesome. I love this pedal exerciser. The display tracks time and calories burned. It has a tension setting and it makes working at a desk a lot more managable. I can burn 500 calories in 8 hours in a breeze. I love it. I have Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS), and even with my medication, sitting for long periods of time can be uncomfortable. Sometimes while watching TV or sitting at my computer, etc. I have to get up and walk to relieve the creepy/crawly feeling in my legs. The VIVE allows me to sit and exercise my legs when the need arises without leaving the TV, computer, family, etc. It also works wonderfully for exercising my arms. Since it is portable, I can take it wherever I need it. It does slide some on my hard floors, so I just put it on a mat. I am happy with the quality of the VIVE.

I ordered this for my mother-in law, who’s doctor wants her to have some movement in her life, but she uses a walker for stability. He suggested a stationery bike, with someone watching her. We didn’t like that idea, and I thought of one of these. She loves it! My husband suggested she set a 10 minute timer and couple of times a day, just to get started. She’s been bragging about continuing to pedal after the timer goes off. It’s easy for her to use, and she can sit where she is most comfortable.

It’s not bad for what it is, I do enjoy it, but it can’t replace a larger exer-cyle machine. The rotation doesn’t feel as fluid, but it still adequately works the muscle group as far as I can tell. They advertise the strap as a major selling point, and I have to agree that it makes things a lot easier even if you have a non slippery floor.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersThis surpassed expectations. I bought this used in “acceptable” condition and it was actually brand new; it just looked like somebody’s dog had chewed on the corner of the box. It’s quiet, compact, not too heavy. It even has a handle. It’s obviously not perfect; it does scoot across the linoleum floor unles it’s braced against something, and it’s a little difficult using it with a rolling chair. Plus, if my legs were any longer, or my desk any shorter it might be near impossible to use (I’m 5’6″ and have a taller than average desk). At the peak of the pedal your foot is about 12″ off the floor, so take that into account before perchase. But the resistance knob does make it a touch harder (I read others thought it didn’t, and that may be inconsistancies or mistakes in manufacturing, but mine was fine), and I bump it up by a quarter turn every week, and I pedal on it for 90 minutes every day. My main concern with the knob and the resistance is that it seems to be mechanical, like friction breaks, and I wonder how long it will be before I wear them down, and if the manufacturer will help me replace them when/if that happens. This is the first time in my life I’ve had a desk job and this single handedly makes me not loathe it. Not to oversell it but I have genuinely been sleeping better with the exercise, and my bpm has been slowly going down.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI received this item ahead of the scheduled delivery date, which is a definite plus. I used it the first night while watching tv. By the time my show was over, I’d done and hour and not even realized it!

I work a desk job so I get concerned about sitting being the “new smoking”. I had a co-worker who contracted a blood clot, possibly from sitting too much and I became concerned that it could happen to me. I wanted a solution that didn’t interfere too much with my day. This exerciser was the perfect answer. I can easily get in 90+ minutes throughout my 8-hour work day. You don’t have to pedal vigorously – just have to keep moving. This doesn’t take the place of my regular exercise routine so I’m not worried about breaking a sweat when using it. I do find it’s a nice supplement when I can’t quite break my Fitbit step and calorie-burn goals.

As for the quality of the machine, I’m satisfied with it especially for this price point. The digital display is clear and easy to understand. The machine is easy to put together and is very quiet while in use. This is important for me because I work in a cubicle and don’t wish to disturb others. Just to be on the safe side, I bought the two-year warranty for $2.75. I know I’m going to be using this quite a bit so I wanted to be cautious. I have no complaints about its workmanship. So far, I’m glad I didn’t pay for a more expensive machine when this one can get the job done.

This Leg Peddler has been very helpful and beneficial to me. I had hip replacement surgery and in the process my femoral nerve was damaged. My leg has been numb from the thigh down since then. Since I have been using the Leg Peddler, I can feel more movement on my leg and nerve. I started with 5 minutes, increased to 10, 15, and now I use it 20 minutes in the morning and 20 minutes in the evening, and my planning to increase my time. My physical therapist has seen a big improvement. I believe the timer doesn’t actually keep correct readings (uses AAA batteries), but I just use the timer on my phone and that works. Other then the timer thing (which is not a big deal), I believe this has been a great investment for me.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis is a pretty good pedal exerciser for the price. It works like it’s supposed to, and I like that you can track calories burned, distance, speed, and time. The reason for the 4 star is that a.) it makes a bit of noise when operated, b.) is not as smooth pedaling as a stationary bike, and c.) it does not like to stay put on my floors. The noise isn’t loud, but it sounds like there is a piece of felt rubbing against something when you pedal. In a regular stationary bike, the pedals move much more smoothly. And on my floors (unfinished wood), this exerciser tends to slip and move out of place unless I’m in exactly the right position. It wouldn’t be much of a problem if you use it under a desk that is against a wall, though.

Good product and delivered in one day…4 stars, not 5, because the base pads are prone to slipping and the device works better on a carpeted surface rather than on bare flooring …shouldn’t be hard to improve. Also, it would be nice if the foot straps could be optionally (and easily) removed and/or replaced. Otherwise, it’s quite good for the price.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI don’t have a recumbent bike in our gym so I needed something to work on getting my knee to allow a total revolution on the bike and this was perfect for my small home. I only gave it 4 stars because it didn’t have full pedals like a recumbent bike. It looks like I can change out the pedals which I probably will do. It stays in place, even on wood floors, which I like because a lot of them don’t. “Assembly” is very easy. Basically just screw on the feet and pedals and you’re ready to start your at home rehab.

My display broke in shipping and I still couldn’t be happier. I can feel the endorphins the second I start pedaling.

It was easy to assembly myself. All the essential parts work and fit perfectly so there is little to no noise when I am using it. If you’re a big guy like myself I had to put a quarter of the machine in front of my desk and three quarters under my desk so my legs can have room.

I can still pedal and type easily without any strain anywhere. I’m very happy with the purchase.

Only gave it 4 stars because I had trouble getting the electronics to work for the time, speed, miles travel, etc. I had to play around with it to get it to function and I couldn’t use the supplied AAA battery because it was crushed. Indicator is working right now but it is sporadic. Not sure if it is working the way it is supposed to.

I haven’t had time to get in touch with you….I need help with the electronic part! I can’t seem to get the window to show any activity. I have been using it anyhow. I hate exercising, but this little gadget makes it easier for my back. I just need to get some help setting up the electronic window.

I’ve had this about a week now and use it daily. I’m almost 70 with ortho issues, so unable to do the things I used to do. I love this. Feeling better already and moving better. It’s about 12 lbs. Just put it in front of your favorite chair and pedal while you watch your favorite TV program. I’m sure it improves my circulation as well as strengthen knee / leg muscles but doesn’t stress the knees. There are many different kinds / prices, this is just the one I bought. Good purchase. For those that work it fits under your desk so you can pedal while you work for a little more exercise. Adjustable to fit tension to ability.

I purchased this pedal exerciser to perform low impact exercise to strengthen my right knee due to moderate osteoarthritis. I researched all of the pedal exercisers and found the VIVE was the best rated among purchasers. I will have to agree. It was easy to put together and the pedaling is very smooth. The different modes on the digital screen is large and easy to read. I got this to exercise at my desk at work but plan on buying another one for home. It exceeded my expectations and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Assembly was a little hard as one of washers fell into the housing. The meter works fine and you have to wear shoes in order to use the product. Works well and will give you a good workout.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIt is light, easy to carry, small enough to fit under a desk, and easy to pedal I like the electronic interface and it tells me how many minutes I’ve been pedaling, RPM etc. My only worry is it is so light, it’s too easy for me to accidentally move it with my feet when I’m pedaling. So I have to keep adjusting it to fit where I need it on the floor to reach it while pedaling. If it had clamps on the bottom that suction-cupped to the floor or something like that, maybe removable one so you can use it on a carpet, that would be really great. Love it!

Very much like the Pedal exerciser. I sit all day at a desk and no matter how many reminders I set to get up and walk, I always end up too busy and deleting my reminder. I have bought two of these, one for my mother at home who had a stroke and does not get up and move often enough. I gave 4 instead of 5 stars because it is not AS smooth as I would like but it does the job well and I do recommend. I have already noticed a difference in not running out of breath as fast when I am up and walking.

It was very easy to put together and arrived on time. It works great !! I would have given 5 stars, but I was disappointed it was not the color advertised and the underside paint was peeling a little. I like it enough to recommend it to others. I already have less pain when walking and I’ve only been using it for six days. It definitely is low impact! I only wish it came in the pretty green that was advertised.

This is helping me get ready for knee replacement and was easy to put together. This will help me after surgery as it is small enough to not take up much room. It will also help me to strengthen my leg after surgery.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersDo NOT pay Amazon $90 for “professional setup and assembly!”

My husband put this together in about five minutes with no difficulty, and it works beautifully. My physical therapist is delighted I have it for home exercises to continue strengthening and increasing the range of motion in my knee. I’m happy it doesn’t take up much space, and I love the ‘handle’ feature at the back that lets me position it properly. It’s a heavy-duty model, which means it doesn’t move easily by “nudging” it – that also means it doesn’t scamper all over the place when you’re trying to use it. Overall, an excellent value!

No problems, relatively easy to assemble the few pieces consisting of the feet and pedals. Have to find the right height chair by height if the individual. Set it on a kitchen table or island for the arm exercises.

Golden Review Award: 22 From Our UsersExerciser works as expected. I am unable to do a lot of walking due to an injury and this has helped me to get exercise that I would otherwise not be able to. I would recommend it to others.
When I first received my pedal exerciser there was a problem with the tension not working. I received an email from VIVE Health asking about my experience with the product. They were very concerned that the one I received was not working correctly and immediately sent me a replacement at no charge. The replacement product works as expected and have not had any problems with it. It’s been a long time since I’ve experienced such great customer service. This company is the best to work with. I recommend them highly and would do business with them again in the future if the need should arise.

I’ve only had it for a few days and I’m very satisfied with it. The only negative comment I have is that it doesn’t stay put on my hardwood flooring as well as it should. It may have to do with the height of the chair I sit on. I’ll try sitting on a pillow or two to see if it helps, otherwise I have no complaints. It was easy to assembled and the customer service has been very accommodating.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersPedal Exerciser by Vive – Portable Medical Exercise Peddler
I got it for my shoulder damaged by a fall; the physical therapist had me exercising my shoulder on a pedal like machine for the arms it is similar to this one but much larger equipment. So I order this one as it was the only things close to it without taking up a whole lot of space and costing so much more. I find the rotation to be smoother than the PT equipment. However the rotation is a smaller circle. I use it on the kitchen table found it moves a lot due to its weight and the constant tendencies to slide to me so I put two silicone pads down under the feet and it slides but not as much. Nevertheless it works for me and that all that counts. It gives my shoulder a light workout and loosing up the joint before the heavy workout I have to do for my shoulder. I have used everday since it arrived last tuesday and glad I selected it. Only wished the rotation circle was larger to work the shoulder more but I lift my elbows out away from my body and it activates the shoulder more. Once I have my shoulder rotator cuff reconstruction surgery I may be glad the rotation is smaller especially at first. Updated then with results.

Golden Review Award: 265 From Our Usersi bought this for my grandma who is 70. Due to health conditions she needs to lose weight and do things that will help with circulation.

Use – easy to use. It is a little heavy for her but that is because she doesn’t have much muscle to lift it. However she is still able to put it in the table to work her arms. She also has no problem use of the pedals.

Monitor- she really doesn’t use this feature. It does what it says but she just counts her reps.

Durablilty – great. It is pretty strong and unless you dropped it or intentionally banged it up I see it lasting a long time.

Smell – no order at all

Pedal – you would want to wear socks or a shoe with it,so the pedal doesn’t start to hurt your foot. It is hard plastic.

Assembly- I assemble it and had no issues . It took about a minute to assembly.

Self esteem- it is giving her the confidence that she can exercise. She is also sore from it and it’s working her muscles. If you are in good shape then this might not be a good workout machine for you.

    Would buy again..

Golden Review Award: 132 From Our UsersSo when I first got this I was disappointed… it had irregular movement and was very jerky. I wanted to return it, honestly, but thought I should just stick with it and give it a chance. Well, the movement doesn’t jerk around and it has a very smooth movement at this point. I guess I had to break it in. I have no real complaints… I’m glad it works! I really needed something like this while I sit, so I’m glad it ended up working as it was supposed to.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI received this peddler a week back. It is quite lightweight and basic and I was worried that with my limited range of motion after knee and hip surgery, I would have difficulty pedaling. I manage by adjusting my seating and straigtening my legs a bit, so yes, it works for me even with only around 78 degrees of knee flexion. It is helpfulto keep moving your knees daily so as not to get stiff. The knob to increase the intensity- I am not sure it does much. But since I cannot use the upright bikes at the gym with my limited range of motion, I am glad I have this to use at home. Can’t say much more, I have only recently received it. I put it in front of my tv couch.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI am not able to go to the gym and work out due to attending to my 91 year old Mother in a nursing home daily along with working full time. I carry my weight in my legs so I ordered the Pedal Exerciser and use at night when I’m watching TV. I have been using it a couple of nights and feel like it helps with moving my legs. It does not compare to a gym but it’s better than doing nothing. It is fairly stable using it on carpet. It also will work your arms too. For the money it’s a good purchase

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is the best little exerciser! I like it because it is heavy and stays put, doesn’t move around or fall over in use. The foot straps are comfortable and hold my foot in place. It is easy to use, can adjust the tension–make it easy or harder. The dial is easy to read. Its small size makes it easy to put under a desk then bring it out as needed. Just after a few days use, I have increased the speed and time and can tell it is making my legs stronger. I highly recommend this to anyone who is homebound and needs to get some exercise to improve health. I’ll continue to use it regardless as it is an easy and quick way to get some good exercise.
I used a different kind in the hospital and it was not so heavy and moved around, not too stable so didn’t feel too trusting of it. This is exactly why I bought this one—its weight, it is solid, a well-made exerciser.

Golden Review Award: 19 From Our UsersThis pedal exerciser by Vive is very well built, quality equipment. It was easy to assemble. Took me maybe 15 minutes. I took my time. Just read the instructions and you will have no problem. On occasion it didn’t pedal smoothly, so i used wd 40 lubricant and I adjusted the tension from loose to medium pressure. it solved the problem. Also, as you pedal you will get used to how much pressure to exert on the pedal when turning, and you will figure out what it takes to pedal evenly. It is not hard to figure out. It is a wonderful machine I am happy I bought it. It is good for the heart, the circulation and the metabolism. My body heats up when I use it. I feel its benefits. I definitely would buy it. Good luck with it!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe Pedal Exerciser by Vive is built like a tank and appears to be a machine that could last many years without any issues. The only negative thing I found was that if one increases the tension on the belt even a little, the unit tends to wander around. I use it on my ceramic tile floor and also on my kitchen counter for the upper body. Perhaps the rubber pads could be a little softer so it could grip and stay in place better.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThe pedal exerciser came quickly and in excellent condition. It is definitely much sturdier than I thought it was going to be and it was simple to put the handles and two bottom legs on. So far it is working as expected and for the money I feel it is an excellent product. I got two-one for the arms and one for the feet as my dad is very weak because of a back issue, so I did not want him to have to lift it until he gets stronger. It is not too heavy for the average person and has a nice handle to carry it, yet it is stable and sturdy on the tray table (on his walker) we set it on. I have not tried it on the carpet yet, but if it doesn’t work on their particular kind of plush carpet, putting it on a plastic pad or runner of some sort would work nicely.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI just had total knee replacement surgery and needed something to help loosen up between PT sessions. This is working well so far. It’s light weight, so easy to move around and small enough to not be in the way. The adjustable tension is great as my knee gets a little stronger every day. It’s way too easy to just sit and do nothing after this kind of surgery, but having this at hand helps me get motivated to move. Also, getting up out of the chair to walk (to the bathroom for instance!) Is a lot easier if you loosen up that knee first! I do wish the cycle circumference was a little bigger, but then it would be a different machine. Overrall I’m very pleased with it.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersWhen I tried it under my desk, the chair with wheels on it kept rolling back. When I used a chair without wheels and had the exerciser on bare floor, the exerciser slid away. It works perfectly when it’s on carpet and I’m on a chair with no wheels. It was easy to assemble. I’m a senior woman, and I did it all by myself.

Golden Review Award: 360 From Our UsersI purchased this for my Mom to help her regain strength. I tried it before giving it to her and it is a great product!
The unit came mostly assembled. I only had to attach the “feet.” The tools were provided as well!
The pedal exerciser is very stable and lighter than I expected. I can easily pick it up with one arm.
The digital screen is a nice size. It motivates me to see the calories I’ve burned or the distance I’ve traveled. It starts when the pedals begin moving and stops after the pedals haven’t moved for several seconds. It is very easy to use.
The workout can be as light or strenuous as you desire. The intensity knob begins at 0 setting and turns up slowly to the intesity you need. You can work you arms or legs gently (to regain strength, increase blood flow, etc) or you can raise the intensity and get a super workout. I have been able to use it on carpet and hard floods.
I highly recommend this exercise bike. No matter your skill level or the type of workout you desire, you will benefit from the Vive Pedal Exerciser!

Golden Review Award: 43 From Our UsersI have terrible arthritis in my feet and knees ,and have been in so much pain I couldn’t go from the parking lot and in to Target much less to to the gym . ….My Mom was getting physical therapy at her assisted living . The therapist and I became friends and told how I was feeling . She advised me to buy a Pedal Exerciser . I need to do something where I don’t need to stand right now to exercise . Regular exercisers bike seat kill my butt and my lower back ( I’m a mess telling like it is ) For every pound of weight we carry it’s 4 pounds of person more on our joins . I need to lose about 45 lbs for about the millionth time in my life and I have to exercise to loss a t a decent rate besides with arthritis it’s best to keep moving . I got this on Saturday go it out of the box and since I sit in my comfy chicken chair or my couch and pedal away an hour a day now ( today is Wednesday still early to tell how this will help but the important thing is to KEEP MOVING . I move my arms in different patterns as if walking to get more heart rate going on . Anyway I love it I feel like I’m accomplishing something to help get better and lose some weight …losing 45 lbs will take 180 pound of pressure of my aching joins …..maybe in a few month I will try to update how I am doing …… I showed a picture of the peddler to the therapist and she said it was prefect and I agree …very worth the money

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersI left a review about a week ago but I will submit another. This exerciser is perfect for me; I had a knee replacement surgery about six weeks ago and this exerciser is just what I need to keep my knew knee in motion. This is not a powered machine if some may think; , the power is manual, you control the speed and the resistance, there is a function a turn nob that will make pedaling harder if that is what you want. The only draw back to this machine is the LED screen, it is positioned so far down it is impossible to read, if you were exercising your arms, it would be perfect. Other than the LED screen I really like this machine

Golden Review Award: 33 From Our UsersVery sturdy but not too heavy to move around. Do not have any issues with it moving away from me while I pedal. It is very smooth and doesn’t jar my arms/shoulders as they recover from surgery. It is also good for my legs and cardio as I try to rebuild “strength” after months of downtime. I am 60 years old and have a few health challenges. This pedal exerciser was an excellent investment in my health. This is not for the young who are looking to build massive legs. That is not the purpose of this. A full size exercise bike or a membership at a gym is better for that purpose in my opinion. Oh yes, it was very simple to put this together. The pedals do not attach in the usual fashion of “righty tighty; lefty loosey”. If they did, I believe the pedals would come off while you cycle. So be patient and watch which way the pedal starts screwing on to the “arms”. I did that part by hand and switched to the assembly tool [included] when it was too tight for my hands to tighten it any further. I am extremely happy with my purchase!

Golden Review Award: 23 From Our UsersPutting this monster together seemed like an easy task: Attach the two bases and the pedals… Right?

Three days later I was looking at this monster sitting in the middle of my living room and wondering what I had gotten myself into! The left pedal bolt wouldn’t screw in. I had pretty much come to the conclusion that I was going to have to ship this back.

I emailed the company and waited for three days.

Finally, an email arrived explaining that the law of “righty-tighty, lefty loosy” was no longer valid. Yes, you have to screw in the left pedal to the left.

After that, it’s great! It sits under my desk and is very quiet. No break, no noises, no problems.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersWorks well once you figure out how to put the pedals on. The right pedal went on in less than a minute. The left pedal would not go on no matter what I tried. Then I used the wrench to turn the nut the opposite direction to the direction that you normally turn a nut (to the right) to tighten and it went on easily. The directions did not say this and I wasted a lot of time before figuring it out. First tighten the right pedal the normal direction and then tighten the left pedal the opposite direction.

Golden Review Award: 46 From Our UsersI bought this for an elderly relative (she’s 89) to help improve circulation in her legs, to help heal a leg injury. She’s using it while watching TV. It’s challenging for her to go for very long, but she’s only been at it a week, & easing into it. It’s very doable, user friendly & smooth pedaling. Also has a nice carry handle on the front, for moving room to room , or putting on a table to work your arms.
The machine itself seems sturdy & well made. It was easy to put the pedals & feet on, & easy to tighten the resistance. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because it came with grease all over the bottom, the box had big grease spots, & I got grease on the carpet when I first took it out of the box….someone forgot to wipe it down before it shipped?

So I had to immediately crank it up to almost the limit to get a good work out. While it is sturdier than another one I tried, it does still move around. However, it doesn’t overheat. I do feel that I get a good work out from it. I think that the digital counter needs improvement. It doesn’t always function. Sometimes the data changes & sometimes it doesn’t. Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersI love, love, love my pedal exerciser. Although I’m retired, I spend at least half a day working at various projects on my computer. That means I don’t get enough exercise. I heard about a company that purchased pedal exercisers for all of their employees and thought, “That’s what I need!” I purchased this one because it was reasonably priced but still looked well built. I wasn’t disappointed! It was easy to assemble and my husband, who put it together for me, was impressed with the careful attention to detail and quality. Now I pedal away while I work and find it’s not difficult to rack up 10 or 15 miles a day. My ankles used to swell while I sat but this simple machine has eliminated that problem. I’m delighted with this purchase and would definitely recommend it to others – in fact, I told my doctor about it and she was very interested.
