Perfect bright red frame
I chose this red frame for a black and white picture bordered in white to go against a white wall so it’s beautiful and makes the picture really stand out as it’s well accented. Unfortunately I knocked the picture off the wall and despite the crash only the corner was a little damaged so it’s quite sturdy.

Not so good
I bought one of these 6 months ago and although it was good, it’s really quite heavy. It has recently broken at the edges. So I bought a 2nd one and it turned up smashed to pieces.
My take is, it’s easily damaged, however aesthetically pleasing.

High-quality but with minor issues
These frames appear to be of German manufacture – or at least, German is the primary language on the packaging.
The clips securing the back to the frame are just a tiny bit fiddly – they need to be compressed then turned 90 degrees (either way) to lock/unlock – this is much easier to achieve on a solid surface than on your lap. Once locked back in place, they appear admirably secure.
The clips are perforated so as to fit over – and to conceal – a nail or screw for wall-hanging but you will want to check the head against the perforation beforehand to ensure that it will pass through.
There are no attachments for a hanging wire or cord. A downside with this arrangement is that if the frame will not naturally hang straight from a single nail/screw as above, adjustment may require a lump of blu-tack or somesuch discretely positioned somewhere behind to hold it level.
A flap to support the frame free-standing is firmly and permanently hinged to the back. The rear depth of the frame is sufficient that folded flat this ought not to impede wall-hanging – or that appears to be the intention – but with both the two 6″ x 8″ frames I purchased the hinge was ‘tight’, holding the flap a little proud so that the frames would not hang perfectly flat to the wall. Once again, blu-tack to the rescue.
The end result is pleasing – extremely smart!

La cornice ben realizzata e molto solida. L’ho subito appesa al muro e ha un bell’aspetto, semplice ma efficace. Non metto cinque stelle perch il pacco arrivato un po’ schiacciato, che ha formato qualche mini riga sulla cornice, ma nulla di troppo grave.
Buon compromesso
Bisogna fare attenzione a sollevare la cornice montata stringendola bene sui lati, ma nel complesso un prodotto con un ottimo rapporto qualit/prezzo che ho comprato molte volte in vari formati. Solo una volta il vetro era rotto e ho fatto il reso tranquillamente.

When I ordered, I failed to notice it was glass (my fault), but don’t mind as this particular size frame (30 x 45cm) is otherwise hard to come by. I used it to frame the ‘World’s Smallest Jigsaw’ (1000 pieces), and I am very satisfied with the end result. Would not hesitate to order again, if required.
The only thing I will say is that the Courier delivered it 8am on a Sunday when I was still in bed. If I had not heard the doorbell, the item would sit outside on full display to all passers by and could have been picked up by anyone, as there was no note through the door and the driver disappeared in record time.

Looks great, very sturdy and snug. The fitting are all solid and it feels like a premium frame. You can see 2 of these used on my wall and I probably will only be getting this brand from now on.

Much better quality than I was expecting to be honest. Colour is brilliant and the frame is good and sturdy, with heavy glass in it. It doesn’t stand on its own, just in case anyone is considering it for that – it’s a wall mount only.

I bought this frame for friends who were having a Golden wedding anniversary. I had ordered a certificate marking every year since they married and wanted a nice frame to set it off, and this was it. I had previously bought a white frame, which arrived damaged, which in the end happened to be a god send, as this one was so much better. Excellent quality frame to show off the contents
I only frame pictures that matter to me – memories of places/things.. you get the idea. So the frame is important. And this is such a high quality frame I shall be back for more.
First – this is GLASS people, and so well made it is heavy. No pins in the wall for this baby – you need to think carefully about how your fixing will hold the frame.
Second – the catches on the back are captive, so you spin them rather than unpick them and then drop at least one on the floor, whereupon it skids beneath the table/chair/whatever is really really annoying. These just need slid and spun.
Third – the frame is deep, so you can properly mount your image using card and still have a backing.
Fourth – the frame colour is deep and intense – and it looks blinking marvellous.
Fifth – did I say I would be back? And I don’t even receive commission for this rave review!

High quality frame
This product is very high quality beyond what I expected for this price. It feels sturdy and the clips on the back were much nicer to unclip than normal frames. I’m very satisfied with the value for money here

I got the Steele frame and it is beautiful, it has wall brackets and a stand so you can choose whichever way you want to display the photo, I bought this for my sons artwork. I would definitely recommend.

This is a great frame for the money, without the mount (which was 40x50cm) worked well for a 50x70cm vintage poster.
I loved the pop out fixings as removing and replacing the back was easy and didn’t require a knife or sore fingers, I loved the metal wire fixed in triangular configuration which I thought was an intelligent design feature – no risk of pictures hanging wonky as you might get with a central loop or clip.
Only minor issue was when I held on to one long side to pick it up; as this is a large frame the metal bowed slightly under the weight of the frame, meaning the clips down that side came loose and had to be refixed, but this is only natural given the large size of the frame and not an issue when hanging.

Good but a bit fiddly keeping the clips in place when lifting and a bit fiddly to hand on the wall. Needed two people – one to hold and one to place the hanging cord. Looks good though.

Excellent product at a very good price. I’d looked at frames in local stores in the high street but couldn’t find quite what I wanted. This frame is better quality than those I’d looked at and at a better price. Would by again for sure.
