Great item for changing out of your wetsuit on the beach and carrying your beach gear. I’ve used these mats for years changing and keeping sand out of my gear.

I have recently started attending aqua-fit classes on our public pool and I have to admit I was dreading changing in the public changing rooms. You never know who has been using it before you and if you don’t end up with some nasty things on your feet.
Since I got this wetsuit change mat I have nothing to worry about. It is big and very sturdy so I can put it on the floor and change my clothes having peace of mind.
I can also leave my wet suit and towel inside, and it changes to a dry bag – so easy!
Great to use on the beach also. Very helpful when you have kids!

    Highly recommeded!

I loved the ability to drop my wet stuff straight into the bag . While standing on the mat .

This is brilliant – I didnt think I needed one but it is a game changer – leave a bottle of water with it before stepping in pour the water over your feet to remove any sand, take off the wetsuit / swimsuit wet gear, dry off dress, pull the draw string and chuck in the car – no fuss no mess and no stress! It’s easy to carry and waterproof so no worry about it leaving your car damp.

Once home remove the wet gear and hang the mat open over the towel rail to dry completely – I also find giving it a spritz and wipe on the inside with some disinfectant keeps it in great condition.

Just super useful, easy to use and carry and really handy if you take part in water sports or wild swimming.

A fantastic product, great for wild swimming. Can take swim clothes off and all contained in the matt. Would recommend.

The size and quality of the bag is good. I can see me I
Using this on picnics, beach and open water swimming.
Good size for my wetsuit and towel.
    Really pleased with this purchase

Brilliant product. After the beach, if you can wash the sand off your feet first then get changed on the bag and throw all your wet stuff in the bag until you get home. Then open the bag right up so the inside of the bag can dry ready for your next beach adventure.

This is such a great idea. It’s advertised as a wetsuit changing mat, that alone is useful but it comes in handy in so many other ways.

It doubles up as a carrying bag which can be held by the handle, over the shoulder or with the drawstring.
It’s large enough for towels, sun cream, change of clothes etc and even has handy internal pocket

It’s come in handy after dog walks in the countryside, I’ve stood my dog on it and brushed the leaves and dirt out of her fur before putting her in the car.

But my favourite use has to be the seaside trips with my granddaughters, we’re so lucky – we are surrounded by gorgeous countryside and have some lovely beaches nearby (one is at the end of our road.

The problem when changing small children is you clean one big of sand off them, they then inevitably put their hands back in the sand etc with this I can sit them on the mat and change them with ease

Brilliant bag that we use on a weekly basis it’s just so useful

    easily RECOMMENDED

This is a superb idea. Stand on it, change, leave all your wet clothes on it, pull the drawstrings and you are finished. It is excellent for keeping mud and sand (depending on where you are) off your feet so your feet remain clean. It is also less painful if you are changing on gravel.

    It is very good indeed.

Large size, with huge drawstrings, nice colour, can’t fault it.

I didn’t think I needed this as I always made do with my trusty bag for life but this is actually a game changer. Just step out of my wetsuit drop my goggles, swim hat and ear plugs and pull the draw string! Doesn’t leak in the boot either. Material is strong enough yet flexible and compact when folded.

I like that this is dimple , has handles and a carry strap, and a non slip standing area

Great invention! Being a keen paddle boarder, I can not recall the amount of times I have had to get changed next to the car out of my wetsuit onto grass or gravel. Not only is this painful but it also causes your wetsuit and clothes to get mucky very quickly. This foldout changing mat is brilliant. You can stand it on any surface whilst getting changed, then leave your way gear on the mat and pull in the drawstrings and you have a bag you can seal with a carry handle to transport your wet things home. It is very compact empty and when full so it takes up little or no room in the car. This is something everyone who does water sports should have, makes things much easier. The current price of 20.85 does seem expensive but for the quality of the materials used and how much easier having this makes things it is work every penny.

This is a really good size changing mat for the beach. It is 34″ across which is more than enough room to wriggle out of wet costumes or wetsuits. all the wet things stay in the bottom and the pull strings turn it into a carry pouch. It is so easy to use and keeps all the wet things neatly stored away without the risk of getting other things damp. It is particularly useful if swimming away from home and it can be thrown into the car without getting anything else wet. It is completely waterproof and doesn’t leak. I use it to carry my towel down to the beach and carry wet costume and damp towel back, saving me taking bulky bags. My keys are stored safely in the inside pocket and any sand just falls off the outside. I like the colour which looks more pink in the listing but is described as red. I would say it is in-between. It seems well-made and feels strong. The padded handles can take quite some weight but are very comfortable to hold. There is also a shoulder strap. I think the design is very well-thought out.

Brilliant for Changing Out of Wet Things

This wetsuit bag is exactly as described and is excellent.

The material is fairly heavy duty with a smooth finish on the inside. It feels robust but I would be careful if getting changed in carparks, make sure your area is free of those pesky little stones as they just might pierce the material if you stand on them and jiggle about as we all do when removing the legs. Provided you keep bag upright when done up, it’s perfectly waterproof.

I use this for my winter Stand up paddleboarding and it easily takes my 5/3 wetsuit and has a little room left for booties etc. At a push, you just might get two in and it would easily take two shorties.

I’m really happy with this. It folds up quite small when not in use and is so much better than carting a plastic crate around in the boot all the time.

Easily fits winter wetsuit and booties

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI love these wetsuit changing mats. This is the second that I now own, but this one is more generously sized and robust than the first, so definitely gets my vote.

If you go to the beach often for things like bodyboarding or surfing, you (like me) might find yourself getting changed into wetsuits etc in a lot of car parks. In the summer when you can get on dry grass, that might not be bad, but when the ground is dusty or muddy it can be a real nightmare. This changing mat is the ideal solution. Take it out of the boot, drop it on the floor, get changed on it without getting your wetsuit muddy, and as an added bonus you can leave your wet clothes in it, pull the drawstring and take them home in it to be hosed down.

The colour looks great in person, the straps are a bit useless to me because I keep it in the car, but I can appreciate that they’re probably helpful for someone. Overall, it’s a great design, inexpensive and really useful.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersReally handy to have, and it’s ideal for more than just changing after watersports. I’ll be using it for festivals too. It also is handy for changing in a car park, eg if you’re taking muddy shoes off and putting clean ones on to drive, as it’s easy to clean and sturdy enough to last a long time.

I do like this . Easy to carry about and made getting changed a little less sandy indeed. Four stars is the Amazon review level for something you like so that’s what it got.

What a great idea this is and at just under 20 it’s a very well made changing mat using really good quality materials for the money. The idea that you can just remove your wetsuit or swimming clothing at the beach and just tighten or fold this up and go is fantastic. The number of times I have used a plastic bag from the supermarket to dump my wet and soggy clothes in I have lost count. But no more using plastic, this is the eco age and I just have to drop them into this waterproof bag, tighten up with the drawstrings and carry away with the Oxford cloth reinforced handles. You also have a rugged strap that attaches with sturdy nylon handles to the nylon connections. It’s obvious at first glance that the materials used are first class, thick Oxford cloth for the outer material with excellent reinforced sewing and a waterproof lining on the inner base material. There is even a small waterproof rectangular velcro pocket to place any valuables inside. The design allows for a polyester side wall around the base to prevent any water or sand escaping outside of the mat, good for when you are say changing inside a van. So imagine just being able to strip off and go, well how you hide the crown jewels is another matter, using a towel or even a changing robe you can also just drop these into the mat, along with your wetsuit, bathing costume, sand and water, it’s up to you, but how convenient is that? 5 stars for an really convenient mat that is sold at a good price.

A great changing mat made of good quality materials at a great price…very convenie

If you are planning to go for the beach, this is going to be quite useful and handy. Doesn’t consume lots of space. The fabric quality is also quite good

This product is very well made and the clips are of good quality as well as the stitching.
The mat could hold comfortably one person getting changed but two might be tight. Two children would be fine for size.
It’s washable or hose-able to clean and a useful addition to the beach gear. Easy to carry as it fold up.

Good mat for changing outside or at the beach

THis is a changing mat for swimming, that also doubles as a carrier for your wet swimwear or towels. It provides a large area to stand on to change – the idea is that you rinse the sand from your feet (using a bucket of water), then stand on the changing mat. Your wetsuit or swimwear can then be dropped onto the changing mat without getting covered in sand. At the end, you use the draw string to bring it all together to create a bag to carry all the wet stuff back to the car etc. There are two grab handles and and as shoulder strap.

The mat itself is not too bulky, and can fold away reasonably flat – or just use it as a bag to carry stuff to the beach as well. It feels quite robust and durable, and is a great idea.

I received this item through the Amazon Vine programme.
This is a usefully sized waterproof mat/bag ideal for beach days now that the weather is improving.
I don’t do anything as serious as to require a wetsuit, but I have found this mat/bag to be ideal for the kids changing out of their wet stuff and then keeping the wet towels/swimsuits all together in one tidy holder that can be put in the car boot without fuss. Also a good base for washing sand off their feet.
The material of the mat/bag is quite robust and there are sufficient adjustment points that allow you to turn the edges up like a bowl, scrunch the whole thing together, handles or shoulder strap as carry options.
If you are involved in any combination of children, water and sand then I think you will find this useful.
Retailing at 19.98 I think it offers fair value for money, about the same price as a half-decent holdall, but much more functional in a watery context.

Sturdy material similar to a decent rucksack with a waterproof lining. There is a small velcro fastening pocket and an easy clip shoulder strap attatchment.
Ive been mean and dropped a star as i found the drawcords a bit thin and because of thus took a bit of faff to get a good closure. However this is still a great change mat/carry bag

    Generous size very sturdy

What’s not to like about this. I like that its waterproof and it also has a shoulder strap so you can use it as a bag. This is going to be great in the trailer tent or for picnics on the beach.

I got this so that I wouldn’t have to stand on the swimming pool floor or on a towel while I changed out of my cossie after swimming. I don’t like standing barefoot on the swimming pool floor for obvious reasons (verrucas etc) so this mat is exactly what I needed, and even better, once I’ve got out of my suit it can stay on the floor of the mat and once I’ve got shoes on I can throw all my wet stuff onto the mat, pull the strings up and bingo it’s all wrapped up and can be transported home for washing.

I’ve washed the mat on a gentle wash and it comes out well.

A great product that I can highly recommend

This is absolutely brilliant for any outdoors water activity. This will be fantastic for wild swimming, so I can change and put all my wet gear in the mat and tie it all up to take it home with no wet car seats.

It’s a lot more compact than what the advertising pics show (which is a good thing!). There’s also a shoulder handle, which is very handy). A great product, highly recommend.

    Fantastic

This is so much bigger than I expected which is incredible!!! It definitely waterproof, and once you pull the drawstrings it holds everything super well!!
And the colour is lovely too! Definitely worth the money!!

This watersports changing mat doubles up as a wet kit bag and this makes it very versatile.
The bag needs to have the drawstrings fully open to lie flat on the ground. It gives you a clean and dry base to stand on while you peel off your wet kit (wetsuit, swimming costume etc). You can then pull the drawstring tight and the mat forms a waterproof bag around your wet kit which makes for easy storage and carrying until you are in a position to wash out and dry the kit.
This could also be used to store dry kit all in one place ready for use.
It is roomy enough and there was plenty of room for a wetsuit, shoes, buoyancy aid and drying robe.
The green colour is a nice change from the black mats/bags often seen. It is built robustly with 2 carrying handles and a carrying strap.
The only slight negative I can think of is that it could do with a slight padded layer as you can feel everything through it when changing. However it is thin enough to dry quite quickly which is probably of more importance.
This would be a good gift for any watersports enthusiast. It’s the sort of thing you probably didn’t know you needed until you got one.
