One of the best controllers i’ve used, very comfortable and ergonomic.
Buttons are all excellently responsive with good feedback.
This is EASILY up their with the official equipment.

This is a wireless controller suited for use with a Nintendo Switch and one that comes supplied with a USB C charging cable.

This controller is black with red and blue accents to match the original switch colours. It features the core Nintendo Switch buttons as well as a turbo button. The guide provides further information on how to program this button.

The guide also provides step by step information for connecting the controller to the switch, thankfully. Connection doesn’t seem to happen in the most logical way but it works perfectly well if you follow the instruction guide.

The size of the controller is good in that it sits well in the hand. The buttons are slightly larger than those on the Switch joy controls. As an adult this is a nice feature as the buttons on the Switch controllers can feel small on occasions.

The controller itself does indeed seem responsive, albeit so far. It does not have motion control but it does have a vibrate function which reacts to what’s happening on onscreen. The vibrations are surprisingly strong but still react very well to what your eyes are seeing on screen.

Overall, if you are looking for a additional controller for your Nintendo Switch albeit one in the fashion of a more traditional controller, then this is a good option.

Connects in an odd way but does a great job, and has a strong vibratio

What can I say. This is *truly an excellent product*.

It’s less than half the price of the official Pro controller.
The quality of materials used is amazing – I would go as far as saying that the materials are NICER than on my Xbox One S controller! o_O
    It’s very light.
The force feedback in literally thunderous. Plus it’s adjustable.
The charging time is just under 3 hours.
And the play time is a about one, two days depending on how heavy you’re playing.

Honestly, I am blown away by this controller. I was expecting it to be low quality and not working properly, but it paired with my Switch immediately upon turning it on and the build quality is excellent. It feels great in my hands and you know what, it just works. Doesn’t disconnect, doesn’t run out of juice when playing, it just works.

Having used it for over a month now I would not hesitate to get another one. I definitely hightly recommend it over the official Pro controller!

    GREAT PRODUCT!

    Better than the Nintendo version!

This wireless controller works perfectly with responsive input and no delay. It feels and works just like my original controller. It is worthwhile following the instructions provided for pairing with the console because it is a slightly different process than with the official controller. This is definitely one of the better controllers that I have used and I am very pleased with it. I consider it good value for money at the current price of 25.99.

Looks and feels great and works well

This is a great remote for my 5 year old to use with his switch, it was super easy to connect and did this within seconds. The remote holds the connection well with no problems with dropping of connection or lagging at all.

The remote is comfortable for my little one to hold with textured handles to allow for a secure grip. The thumb pads were comfortable for him to use with issues. The battery lasts a good amount of time with around 10 hours once fully charged. The charge of the controller does not take that long in perspective with a 2 hour charge needed, this is done by a USB C wire, which is the usual way these days. No plug is included but we have charged using a plug and also using the sofa USB plug in too.

This controller is an excellent addition to my Nintendo Switch setup. Build quality is excellent and it has performed flawlessly with my console, with no issues. The controller is comfortable to hold for extended periods, especially as the buttons and joysticks have much more room between them compared to the stock controllers, hugely increasing comfort. There’s a built in battery that’s charged via the USB-C port that, so far, seems to offer decent battery life.

Overall an excellent controller, I’m very happy

As good as the official Pro controller at a fraction of the cos

Connecting this controller to my Switch console was straightforward and recognised it immediately.

The grips feels good in the hand and the vibration works well. The battery life works for me as it has never ran out on any gaming session that I was using it on, although I don’t play the console night and day.

This is a good controller to have for playing on the big screen or just instead of holding the Switch.

The responsiveness of this controller is very good indeed and it’s very easy to use with our Switch.

The build quality is good and it’s comparable to the official controller we also own. The button layout is the same, and it’s essentially the same controller with just the odd slight design difference to differentiate between the two. But the functions and end result are the same.

It has a nice grip on it and is comfortable to hold for a prolonged period.

I really like the contrast in colours between the main black colour on the body of the controller and the red and blue additions used sparingly.

All in all, it’s a very good controller and is good value for money.

We used the USB cable method to ‘pair’ it with the Switch and it worked fine.
Feels good in the hands, and joysticks and buttons feels responsive and positive.
Liking the turbo function too, and the nintendo themed colour scheme.

For 25.99 at the time of this review it’s definitely a viable extra or replacement controller for the Switch, it seems to work a lot better than some others we’ve had and for that price you can’t go wrong really. Now for some serious multiplayer mariokart!

This is a perfectly acceptable replacement controller for Nintendo switches. It has all the standard buttons on it and a few extra beside. They all work fine and the rumble function works fine. There is no noticable latency in the controls either.

The only slightly less straightforward thing is when you try to pair them to the console, however if you follow the instructions it works absolutely fine. You just have to use a different button to the one you use on the original equipment.

This is a great option to have an additional or replacement switch controller and we have not noticed any difference during gameplay between these and the original ones.

    Standard replacement ninetendo controlle

Lovely product, great value for money.
Connected to the switch faultlessly, and no issues with response.
Feels well made, comfortable, though slightly louder than the Nintendo ‘official’ pad.

    Review from my husband:

This is wicked! It’s a really decent joypad, sits easily in the hand and is really responsive. Loads of buttons for killing things in doom, it gets recognized in windows as an Xbox controller, so that’s all good, but that’s a cabled connection. My PC doesn’t see it as a Bluetooth device or wireless so that was frustrating. However, it is with a wire and it’s a great USB c device so it’s modern lol, but the functionality is great. It’s responsive and lightweight but yet doesn’t feel cheap. It’s a decent controller man, a lot cheaper than its Microsoft counterparts and half the price. It’s a steal and it offers a lot more too. 4/5 just because of the wireless letdown.

Very easy to connect via the cable, I wouldn’t bother trying to do it wirelessly.

Its great value, the battery lasts ages and it connects and stays connected superbly.

    Works well enough
    Feels nice in your hand
    Good as a spare controller
The buttons and analog sticks click louder than Nintendo one.
The colours match Nintendo switch joycons but just on opposite sides. (see photo)
Connect to switch via home button rather than l & r buttons like the Nintendo one.

    Works well

This is a really good controller (primarily) for Nintendo switch, which my Grandson is very pleased with — it’s well made, with an ergonomically good and tactile finish. The controller feels decently robust feel, important when you see how youngsters use them, they need to be able to handle a degree of rough treatment!

The controller is (wireless BT) USB C rechargeable (Lithium battery which is good — 500 mA/H), came ready charged, and worked straight out of the box, – simple and easy to connect, with accurate and responsive controls. It performs well, with no lag etc.

There are some excellent features, including one click ‘Screenshot’, vibration, motion, and turbo functions, with various other features make for a good gaming experience, and being rechargeable, means no constant supply of batteries needed. The pretty good 500 mA/H battery pack provides 8 -10 hours play time between charges.

This controller is plain black, with red and blue colour coding stripes, is a great all-rounder, and incidentally can also be used with Windows (on suitable games).

Overall, this is a really good controller, great quality, with lots of good features and well-constructed. Great value too, and recommended.

I hope this has been helpful.

    Excellent controller, great features

I am so very happy with this one. It came in quickly, it was super easy to connect and i’ve had no issues with it. I wanted to wait to write my review until i’ve used it for a couple of days and this is what i’ve learned with it.

Now it has to be said that I have purchased and own a fair few other non official controllers in my time so I can directly compare to many other non licensed manufacturers as well as a produce a comparison against the official products too. What I can tell you is that this particular unit is actually pretty impressive when compared to others being offered in the market place today. Here is a breakdown of the pro’s and con’s of this unit against a more expensive officially licensed unit as well as other non branded counterparts.

The unit is a little chunkier than some non branded controllers and has a slightly different shape when compared to the official joy cons or pro wireless controllers that are manufactured and supplied for the Switch console. Indeed it has a slightly different design and feel to other non branded competitors available to purchase separately in the market today too. It’s certainly not uncomfortable to hold and use although it takes a little getting used to when you have spent a long time holding a more slimline controller. My eldest children actually found it easy to hold despite its larger size and preferred to use this one over the original joy cons. My youngest kids had no troubles adapting either but unlike my eldest, they actually preferred my licensed and other non branded pads over this one. For me personally I also found it easy to adapt to and I actually found I preferred the look and feel in use of this controller.

Out of the box setting up is an absolute breeze. I attached the accompanying USB cable directly to the switch to charge it and as soon as I turned my console on and pressed the on button on the controller it recognised it instantly without me having to do anything. I was up and playing games in less than 60 seconds. How easy and simple is that?

The buttons are all mapped the same as a standard controller too so no need to mess about assigning each or configuring layouts. There are some additional buttons including a turbo button on the unit which I believe may be programmable? I personally didn’t need or use this feature though so I cannot comment directly on this aspect. The rumble feedback is good and actively replicates my official joy cons and charge wise this unit lasts about the same time as standard controller, with re-charge times being approximately the same too. Being USB you can either plug directly into your console or charge it up elsewhere. A small row of lights highlight the position number if multiple players are using other control pads. This particular model is a little chunkier than the official pro wireless offering from Nintendo, albeit only marginally so, but nonetheless still has a very nice and tactile feel to it in my humble opinion.

There is no lag between button presses and thumb pad movement and everything works exactly as expected. Button presses do feel a little clunkier and more ‘clicky’ than I would like but that may be just reflective of price and certainly not something I really noticed after a short time using it. It’s incredibly cheap when compared to the official pro wireless control pad yet performs exactly the same but its available for aa fraction of the cost of an official unit. Would I purchase this one again or recommend it? I am happy to say it’s a resounding yes! It feels more than comfy for longer gaming sessions and having other similar non-branded controllers this one stacks up really well. Ultimately it’s a good controller and priced incredibly low for what it is. Quality of build is particularly good and I can see this unit lasting a very long time. Absolutely nothing to dislike about this at all. Perfect!

This third party Switch controller by Rahaat has some very neat features but still a few annoyances associated with third party controllers that stops it from an absolute game changer.

Positively, it does have some pretty good ergonomics that make actually holding the controller in the hand effortless. The design has some neat finishes, like the red and blue colour flashes really look neat and the joysticks are very good for a “non brand” third party controller, providing good travel and a fair amount of control. Charging via USB-C is a bonus too.

It also has some neat features, like a turbo button feature which is adjustable and the ability to alter the control like the sensitivity of the vibration which is really quite neat (and can be used to pro-long battery life by minifying it).

It does have a bit of a plasticky look in places (Especially around the charging port — it looks to be a different type of plastic to the rest of it), which really stops it from feeling premium and the packaging also has a bit of a budget feel. There’s a texture effect on the grips on the controller which makes it look a bit cobbled together and the hotkey buttons look (and feel) cheap too.

Most importantly though, the controls are pretty good (minus the dpad). The triggers and buttons themselves are pretty responsive, though the raised triggers do take a bit of getting used to as they feel different than the majority of controllers due to smaller travel. The buttons are bigger than most but reachable and responsive. The joysticks are certainly a stand out from the controls with lots of movement in every direction. The Dpad is the weakest area of the controls — its loose, bigger than it needs to be and has a very soft membrane behind it so the travel is very limited. The massive circle in the centre of the dpad only hinders travel and makes it feel uncomfortable with quick movements like in a fighting game.

However with everything said, I definitely wouldn’t consider this as a primary controller — if you’re looking for a controller that you’ll use every day as your primary controller then I’d advise to look elsewhere. IF you’re looking for an additional controller for a little one, friend or occasional use then this is a good third party controller as a pretty decent price.

Not a bad controller - but not a primary one eithe

This review is going to be semi short and sweet.
Price wise I think it’s fair last time I bought a controller for my PlayStation I paid around 50..
I play a fair amount of Mario kart on the switch! This has changed how much I love playing the game.
It’s very comfortable to hold, it feels perfect in my hand, the battery lasts very well! It charges via usb c this to me is a bonus. The connection was fast and simple. I am honestly very happy with this controller and if this was lost or accidentally broken I would replace it without hesitation. If I could give 6 stars I would.
Thanks, I hope this review has helped.

    Absolutely love this controller!

My grown up son is a gamer on all platforms. Yes that means we never see him unless we go over to his place. Anyway after a rare occasion that he left his gaming desk to pick this up he’s very happy with it.
He says the buttons all feel good to press, the controller is a good weight and it feels good quality overall.
He wants to recommend it and from a hard gamer that’s the highest award you can get.

I’ve ordered several of these to use with my Switch and always had problems pairing them. I had no problems with these and they connect and disconnect with ease. Overall it’s a good back up controller when we need an extra one for some 4 person Switch fun.

The controller has no problems pairing with the Switch and I have noticed no issues with it disconnecting. The analogue sticks feel in a similar position and it’s comfortable to hold. The buttons are as responsive as you would expect and the controller has good strong rumble.
This controller is a good option if you prefer playing with something that feels more like a traditional controller instead of the usual Switch Joy-Con.
