Parking Monitor and Time-lapse Recording
The car camera supports 24 hours parking monitor. After install the WOLFBOX Xpower hardwire kit (Asin: B095SKYDHK), the camera will record 1/2/or 5 (optional) frame per second and no need worry about drain the car battery.
Reversing Assistance
When your car is put into reverse, the 12†full touch screen will display the rear view with parking guidelines to help you park safely. This function is activated by the red wire of the rear camera connect to the positive pole of the reversing light.
G-Sensor & Emergency Recording
G840h front and rear cam supports manual trigger or automatic emergency recording with built-in G-Sensor. It will lock the footage when it detect collision.Or you can double-click the screen to record and lock the video urgently when you think you need to keep an evidence.

My son is delighted with this item, does so many things pertaining to safety, but just looks and acts like a rearview mirror as his van doesn’t have one. Gives amazing view of rear for reversing.
There are issues with many of these products namely;
1. You can be dazzled by rear oncoming headlights to the point where you are forced to rely on your left side mirror which itself may be a danger when overtaking or changing lanes as you have to temporarily but maybe repeatable take your eyes off the road.
2. Any dirt, water, rain or snow may effectively obliterate your rear camera view.
3. If you rely on distance or varyfocal spectacles your mirror view could be a varying degrees of focus as there is no depth of sight on the mirror.
4. It can cost you up to 200 to have it professionally fitted.
I replaced a cheap reverse mirror/camera with the wolfbox 840s and I couldn’t be more delighted with it, there customer service is second to none, so thank you wolfbox.
My WOLFBOX G840S 12″ rear camera started saying rear camera not detected and eventually stopped working. Contacted Amazon and I was directed to Wolfbox customer service team. Got a response within 24hrs and an upgrade WDR rear camera that helps deal with glare at night! Only issue was I had to run the wires from rear of the car to front again as the pin sizes are different but other from that, it works fine.
loved this camera from the start easy to fit very good night vision but after only 6 months the rear camera has packed up but yeah I’m considering just to use now as front camera only anyway still gets 5 stars !
Fantastic dash cam I bought two of these first one was brilliant, as so was the second one. The problem with the second one, he didn’t have the option for the time so where you selected and set the time it wasn’t displayed as you can see in the video the other thing to note with this dish dash cam is that you need the wolf box hardware kit if you’re going to hardwire it. Update I tried unplugging the GPS sensor and now the option to set the clock appears. Set the clock no problem and it stays at the correct tim. However soon as you plug the GPG sensor back in the correct time is not displayed and time and date settings disappear. So I’ve left the GPS sensor unplugged. This is the only way to get the correct time displayed. As you need it in the event of an accident. Hope this helps.
