12” Mirror Dash Cam
I had been considering a dash cam for about a year. Finally did some research but discovered mirror dash cams instead. Less bits on the window. A friend had recently installed a Sendow and I was impressed.
The Wolfbox kept popping up in some top reviews. I got the latest version G840H. The picture quality and video footage is excellent, clear, crisp, definitely good in low light. I was able to review someone leaving a very tight space behind me. Despite me leaving a note to say I would move my vehicle he had someone help him. They did see my note but didn’t ask me to come and move. Had a friend help me install it.
Comes with 20″ extension. I got the 50′ extension and the hardwire kit to enable me to use the parking sensor and protect my battery from being drained. Really pleased I did as I was getting sick and tired of popping the cigarette socket in and out and hiding the cable. I also wanted an optional gps. This one is not already built in. You plug it in. Comes with a 32gb sd card so you can used immediately, this will last for 3-4 hours, more than adequate for most people.. It runs on a continual loop, only save if something happens.
Also had excellent reviews for quick response team if any issues, clear easy to understand advice and over 10 years experience in this field.

Impressive bit of kit for the money, crisp clear picture that you can adjust easily and if camera is fitted upside down you can flip and turn left to right mirror images in the settings.
Superb camera and reversing camera. Well packed and arrived early, the reversing camera lead was not long enough for a motorhome, contracted support and extra long cable was sent out immediately free of charge (excellent customer service). Forward facing camera is 2.5k and the rear is 1080 unfortunately the forward-facing seem slightly hazy compared to the rear hence the four stars but overall I’m very pleased with the product and would recommend.

I am now giving this 5 Stars. The front camera is clear, just my stupid fault for not taking the protective film off the lens, and i’m a photographer “doooh”

It's a very nice piece of kit.
I did quiet a bit of research before diving in. This was the product I chose. Well made and nicely packaged. I also bought the hardwire kit for parking mode/ security. My level of skills are very low. But that said. I found it super easy to install and fit it to a semi professional level of quality. Almost no wires to see. I will confess I had a friendly engineer/mechanic help me wire in the hardwire kit as I knew what I wanted and no idea how to get there. Once up and running had a brief issue with no picture or video. Only thumb nails. I think it was something to do with freshly formatted memory card. Now it all works super well! I am very impressed with the cameras. Even travelling down a pitch black country lanes you can still make out stuff in the rear view mirror/ rear camera. The contrast is very good too! In the dark the front camera appears to make bright areas brighter while not getting dazzled by headlights. Simple to use. I will have to see how the exported videos look to give a final verdict. But very impressed so far! Good work Wolfbox!

Initially worried about the night view but to my surprise it is brighter than what we see in the regular mirror..
Absolutely no lag in video feed you can rely on this completely.
I completely stopped using the mirror
GPS is useful however don’t rely on this for Speed it always shows bit slower than your actual speed.. it is not problem with this GPS but all GPS device in general.
Overall more than what I expected!
However, an extra strap and small tool to insert the wire would have been better!

Product arrived promptly, was very well made and packaged, the quality of the camera is very good, I bought it for a campervan 6.5m in length the lead that came in the box for the rear camera was about 2m short, emailed the seller and they sent out a longer lead which arrived the next morning. I fitted this (with an extension cable) to our campervan as it didn’t have a rear view mirror.
To describe the photos/video in the review:
– there is what the screen shows at night from the front
– there is what the screen shows for the rear camera at night when there is no light (parked up against my garage – the fuzzy black image)
– there is the rear at night – notice in the sections with no rear light how it flickers when light appears? That happens on the screen too – quite distracting! (I couldn’t upload another video, but the footage is as you’d expect really)
Like most cameras now, getting footage in good light is not a problem, and this one also copes well in the dark too. Keep in mind that my rear camera in the videos is looking out through 70% tinted windows, so will already be darker than most usages.
Firstly, installation is pretty easy – just need to neatly route the cables, and hardwire as required.
Onto actual usage, I’ll address my questions from when I bought this, followed by some of the downpoints.
– if you have a rear camera connected, when you turn it on, it defaults to showing that (at least, with my settings it does, which is just what I wanted)
– you can have it turn off to act as a regular mirror automatically
– the screen is bright enough to use in daylight (at least, in a van it is. It might struggle in a car with more windows)
– the image quality is pretty decent
The downsides:
– there is no automatic brightness on the screen, so it’s just as bright at night as in the day
– in the dark, if there is nothing behind you (quiet road) then it displays a fuzzy black screen, which can get quite annoying (see video)
– if something does appear behind you, it can pick it up, but often flashes a green across the whole display while it readjusts to the new light source. This can be pretty annoying too, especially on a motorway where there is often stuff appearing behind you
– the recorded image quality isn’t quite as good as the dedicated dashcams in our other cars, but it’s still passable
Overall, I’m very impressed though and it makes driving/parking the van a lot easier. I’d definitely buy again, and assuming this stays realible, would be happy to recommend this (although I might just turn it off at night to avoid the flickering)

Got this Dash Cam, I am a car savy person, this was an easy install. The picture quality is very good during the day time, the dash cam covers the blind spots . At night time, the picture quality is good. The camera replay back is all easy to use and settings are also good. The GPS shows your speed and direction. The customer support were very responsive and handled my issues promptly and purposefully so I would reccommend as I felt supported after recieving the product. I hope it lasts for years to come.

We have a 7mt motorhome, reversing is now a doodle, very easy, as soon as you put into reverse you a great picture showing detail. Forward or back, what ever the weather, Our only little, tiny problem was hiding the cables. Make sure you get the correct cable, we bought the 33ft cable and only had 1 ft (30cms) spare at the end. Took a whole day to fit, very pleased.

We have not had it installed yet,we are not mechanically minded so best bet is to get a mechanic to install it for us. Looks great and will update when we have it installed. What I can say the seller is amazing, very quick and promp replies and ever so helpful.

I wanted a dash cam with display and reverse camera and I’m happy I chose this one.
I decided to install this in my works car park after a 12 hour shift just because I had the box in the car from it being delivered that day. It only took me 25-30 minutes and all I used was a plastic ‘trim remover’ pry tool to hide the wiring – with a little confidence this can be installed by a complete novice.

Hi Everyone, thought it may help someone like me who is looking to buy a good quality dash cam. product itself looks great, well packed, product manual well explained, easy to install, all functions are very simple to operate. great picture quality.
few things can be improved:
1. ensure Xpower hardware kit gets used with this model.
2. back camera holder screw gets slight loose when the car goes through the bump or the tailgate get slummed. so the back camera position goes down a bit and needs to adjust the screen position or either tight the screw some points.
3. notice, when back camera capture led light flash from another car screen display, become little bit unclear.
overall i would say it has been a Great buy so far, Great Customer service from the seller. i would recommend to buy.

A Quality piece of ki
I had it fitted by an auto electrician (expensive) but you know everything is safe and connected correctly.
I had a couple of problems after, but the staff at Wolfbox answered my e mails straight away, and we had it going in Minutes
I had not read the user manual properly old age me thinks.
The mirror is a great size a vast improvement of my previous 10 inch ( size does matter).
So I recommend this product and the seller amongst the many mirror cams on the market.

I was dubious about buying this at first as for so many other products had bad reviews but this product is exactly what it sates it is I can’t big it up anymore well worth buying.
Habe es im VW Bus T5 eingebaut. Kamera hinten habe ich oben innen mittig, da es schnell gehen sollte und im Moment einfach zu kalt zum basteln ist.
Das klappt erstaunlich gut. Der Bildbereich ist enorm, die Bedienung sehr einfach. Nur bei Dunkelheit wird es hinten schwierig, da meine Scheiben stark getnt sind. Hier werde ich hellere Rckfahrleuchten probieren.
Zur Stromversorgung habe ich die Hardware Verkabelung an SB 19 gewhlt. Da ich keine Parkberwachung brauche, habe ich nur Masse und gelb angeschlossen. Die beiden Kameras ziehen im Betrieb ca. 0,5 A ohne Monitor und ca. 0,7 A mit (gemessen mit Benning Stromzange).
Die Mankos: schaltet man die Kameras aus und nutzt nur den Spiegel, so ist es schon deutlich dunkler als der Standard Spiegel. Zudem gibt es die manuelle Abblendfunktion nicht.
Das 12 V Netzteil fr den Zigarettenanznder strt mein Radio.
Great Camera Features. Double Vision on Mirro
The digital features of this product are great! Really impressed. Amazing camera quality and features. Easy to install.
The only issue I found was that the mirror has a double vision when the screen is turned off. This makes using the product as a conventional mirror nearly impossible. Unable to make out traffic and causes confusion. I find this to be a real drawback as that was the main reason why I bought this instead of a normal dash cam and reverse cam.

Good but..
The front camera which sticks out cannot be repositioned, over in UK we drive on the right, the camera is on the left so when the rear view mirro is angle to face you the camera turns to the left and records what’s ahead at an angle, as you are driving rather than record what’s in front of you the camera captures the pavement more. Other products out there with camera on the right or. adjustable
Amazing for the money
I bought this to use on my van, fitting it was pretty straightforward as I mounted it just above the number plate and fed an extended 33′ cable through the van which I bought seperately. I wasn’t expecting anything wonderful and just wanted something that would allow me to see when reversing as I have a long wheel base van and although its mirrors are great you obviously cannot see how close you are getting to the kerb etc.
I watched several online review videos for it before purchasing it so knew it should be reasonable, however I was quite shocked by the quality of it, while driving the image on the screen is clear and you can easilly see number plates etc and also how close cars are behind. However having just driven the van at night I was amazed at how impressive the night vision is, before connecting and wiring it into the van I did the usual “man” thing and connected it to a power source and had a play and wasn’t overly impressed with the camera in the dark of the van, however now that its fitted and can obviously adjust to the night its actually amazing.

Day: Front – is amazing with great quality and wide view range, Rear – good as well, good quality.
Night: Front – Clear vision, actually helping a lot especially in dark places, Rear – it’s ok in town but if there is no street lights quality is really bad, all you can see is lights from the car behind you.
GPS – works really good.
Easy to install, easy to set up, well explained, cables long enough (VW Arteon).
Value for money
Was good value for money. I have a VW T6 camper van so thought I would need the longer cable. I didn’t as the cable supplied would have been plenty long enough.
Initially I didn’t buy the hardwire kit… the screen kept going blank as if it was rebooting! But after fitting the hardwire kit ( you have to buy as an extra) it was perfect. Not sure what use the gps is?? If there was an app you could load on mobile to connect as a tracking device that would have been useful. Or an app to alert you if the parking sensor was started due to a bump that also would have been useful. I wanted a dash cam with the parking alert so that if I was in a car park and someone went into me then it would be recorded but unless I inspect my van, find damage and then take the micro card out and put it into a computer then it’s not really any good for what I wanted! Maybe a camera that links to a mobile app would have been better for me in hindsight!

Annoyingly I am not the best with vehicle electrics so I found it easier not to set up the reversing aspect of it, however still installed the camera to see a live view of rear. Otherwise this mirror cam is absolutely perfect for the price. Clear and precise non lag picture. Night mode doesn’t work I’m unsure whether I can enable this or not? But regardless very happy, will be purchasing again for my fathers van.

Nachdem ich die erste Cam zurck geschickt habe weil sie irgendwie eine andere Software drauf hatte und ich dachte es sei das S-Modell habe ich sie neu bestellt. Kam genauso an wie die vorherige. Da habe ich den VK kontaktiert und er erklrte mir das dies das neuste Modell mit einem anderen Chipsatz sei und deswegen eine andere Firmware aufgespielt sei. Somit wurde alle Unklarheiten durch einen schnellen Kontakt zu meiner Zufriedenheit beseitigt. Die Cam liefert ein exzellentes Bild vorne und hinten. Die Anbringung und Inbetriebnahme war recht einfach. Lediglich die Verkabelung zur Rckkamera hat mich ein paar Stunden gekosten. Ist bei einem Cabrio nicht so einfach. Hatte zum Glck auch das lngere Kabel mutgeordert welches ich auch bentigt habe. Aber nun montiert, bin ich voll zufrieden. Die Cam fllt berhaupt nicht auf, die Aufnahmen sind ok und werden fr eine Beweissicherung reichen.

Nice cam, the only issue is the mirror gives double reflexion of vehicles light. Might be confusing initially but I got used to it. Not sure if this would be an issue at the MOT test!

The camera in general is pretty good, just disappointed that it becomes useless at night when it’s raining because it gets on the rear camera and makes it impossible to see.
Picture is very clear and offers a useful wide image on the mirror which is great for merging onto highways. The rear camera handles glare from headlights very well at night time.

Habe die Dashcam mit dem passenden Hardware-Kit von Wolfbox in meinem Fahrzeug verbaut, damit ich auch die Parkberwachung nutzen kann.
Nachdem ich anfangs sehr zufrieden war (schnelle Software, kurze Start-Up-Zeit, gute Verarbeitung) ist mir ein defekt Aufgefallen:
Sobald ich das Display ber den Knopf an der Unterseite ausschalte – damit ich den Rckspiegel als “realen” Rckspiegel nutzen kann – kann ich das Display danach nicht mehr einschalten.
Auch beim Einlegen vom Rckwrtsgang wird das Bild ebenfalls nicht aktiviert.
Nachdem ein Kontaktversuch ber Amazons Chat-Funktion enttuschend verlief, habe ich direkt den Kundensupport von Wolfbox Kontaktiert, diese haben mir innerhalb krzester Zeit zuerst eine neue Software, und nachdem der Fehler weiterhin bestand, einen neuen Rckspiegel zukommen lassen mit welcher der Fehler nun behoben ist.
Nachdem der erste Eindruck durch den defekt etwas getrbt war, bin ich nun umso glcklicher zu wissen, dass der Wolfbox-Kundenservice zuverlssig ist und Lsungsorientiert arbeitet!
Daher kann ich einen Kauf empfehlen.
Essential Viewing
I am really impressed with this dash cam. It records front and rear simultaneously and as I drive a small van with no rear windows, the rear camera enables me to see what behind me via the impressive rear view mirror shaped screen. The functions and controls are clear and snappy. You can even review footage on the screen. On my old dash cam you had to remove the memory card and insert into a pc to review footage. Oh that reminds me, this Wolfbox cam comes with a memory card included! Great product which I wouldn’t be without. If you’re looking for a decent dash cam which won’t break the bank look no further!
I’ve been using it last 2 hours installed it myself. It wasn’t hard to do.. but altough have a question for the seller. It’s always recording after engine is off and . Also what is battery status mean? Does it charge itself while engine running and use that power or what? Thanks

The cameras and display do a great job in most conditions. I have the display set to auto off so that it just comes on for reverse and when powered on for a brief minute. The adjustable reverse parking guide lines (drag with your finger) are pretty good, though not intelligent as such they don't automatically adjust with the camera view angle (you can angle up and down both cameras from the display, done digitally not moving optics). The main improvement I would suggest is having the reverse guides change with the viewing angle, wouldn't be that much math I'd have thought. The other improvement I suggest is a way of making it the permanent rear-view not just elastically strapped as it does vibrate.

Super quality product. works better than expected. easy setup and menu navigation. Top Tip. If you have a mini van like me or anything with no boot, fit the rear camera inside the back window. Picture is perfect and the camera lens will never get dirt or wet on it in bad weather.

Despues de hablar con el vendedor se pone en contacto contigo y te envia un host en espaol nuevo, y se soluciona el problema, tb tuve problemas con la camara y me enviaron una con sus cables sin ningun coste la verdad que el servicio post venta es muy bueno…

Genrally Very Good
was easy to install, works well both as a camera rear view and as a standard reflecting rear view (when picture is set to darkest), easy to operate.
It is a bit heavy for the rear vision mirror (which was in no way loose to begin with) keeps dropping down on bumps. Managed to adjust it high enough to jam it against the roof liner to stop it from dropping. Still may not be an option for others. Sun shade visors tend to knock it also as it is quite long. Don’t really mind that however as it does have a very large screen. What is gained here in size is lost there in functionality, I guess And the screen could be a little brighter too. It is bright enough, but barely. During midday the image does tend to get lost in the reflection; needs to be tilted to be seen. A little more would be good.
In general I am very happy with this product. Would recommend to anyone with a very tight, and hard to move rear view mirror. The dropping down on bumps issue is the only thing that really bothers me.
All the features I need
This was the only camera I could find that fitted my very specific list of requirements for a motorhome conversion. The screen and picture are tremendous. I followed the wiring instructions to the letter and it fired up first time with no issues. I did have to contact customer service for a replacement spare part and while initially apprehensive I was blown away by their speed and efficiency in sorting the issue. A really great package and amazingly well supported by the brand.
Great camera
I got this for the wife’s Audi A4 convertible. The camera fits well over the rear view mirror and also purchased the wiring kit as didn’t want to plug into the cigarette lighter as is on a permanent 12 volts.
A bit tricky getting the wires to the rear view camera as couldn’t go over the roof but got there via side panels and under carpet.

View is very good and a very wide angle, you can see the cars overtaking until they are visible in the side mirror. Some glare from the screen on sunny days. Easy enough to fit, hardest was the video cable to the front but that’s the same with all kits. Good menu system, easy to use.

Meets my needs.
To me this dashcam is great value for money. It meets all my requirements successfully and the build quality is solid. There was plenty of cabling to get to the rear camera…in fact I had to hide some in the roof lining and I have quite a long station wagon so I guess it depends on your vehicle and the route you need to take. The mirror works well when the picture is not displayed, its like looking in a black mirror and once you get used to it you won’t have a problem and I prefer to use it this way while driving and recording so as not to get distracted by checking out the rear camera view.
The menu system is easy to navigate.
Overall I would recommend this unit but I guess other people might have different expectations.

Easy to install, starts as soon as the ignition turns on, its great that you can adjust the picture shown on the screen up and down and the picture quality is pretty good. The glare from headlights in the dark or in tunnels is not great though. Pretty good product for the price though.
Ich habe mir diese Dashcam als Rckspiegel-Ersatz fr mein Wohnmobil gekauft. Durch das kleine Heckfenster kann man den Verkehr schlecht einschtzen. Diese Dashcam bietet genau diese Funktion in Perfektion. Zndschlssel rumgedreht und Rckfahrkamera ist automatisch an.
Ich habe vorher schon ein Produkt eines anderen Herstellers ausprobiert und war schlicht enttuscht. Alles unter 1080 bei der Rckkameras kann man einfach vergessen. Dazu das lstige umschalten auf die Heckkamera bei jeder Aktivierung einfach nur nervig. Und das Bild dazu noch klitzeklein und nicht ber den ganzen Screen.
Die hier ist um Welten besser! Die Auflsung der Frontkamera … gestochen scharf, als wenn man selbst aus der Frontscheibe schaut. Das Men ist einfach und selbsterklrend. Ein Handbuch habe ich nicht gebraucht.
Ich empfehle als Zubehr den Kabelsatz, die USB-Verlngerung und wenn es bei Euch so eng zugeht wie bei mir einen Mini-USB-Winkelstecker. Gibts auch bei Amazon und ist ein “Pfennigartikel”
Alles in allem gibts von mir fr alle Wohnmobilfahrer eine klare Empfehlung zu diesem elektronischen Rckspiegel. Ich hoffe ich konnte Euch hiermit bei der Suche nach einem vernnftigen Produkt helfen.

The screen on this is almost the entire mirror, that is amazing.
And the quality of the screen is very good.
The camera’s, both front and back are very clear and the rear camera housing being metal is a major plus.
The only part of installing this that is difficult is maybe the wiring of the rear camera (depending on your car) and getting the wire out the back of the car near the license plate (again, depending on your car).
Da ich keinen Rckspiegel im Kleintransporter habe und dieser alleine beim Kastenwagen (ohne Scheiben hinten) und Trennwand hinter dem Fahrersitz auch wenig Sinn ergibt, besorgte ich mir die Wolfbox G840H Dashcam und einen Spiegel an den ich die Dashcam montierte. Ein chinesisches Qualittsprodukt mit, fr mich, sinnvoller und seris wirkender Software-Oberflche. Der Vertrieb erfolgt ber ‘Wolfbox’, der Hersteller ist nach den mitgelieferten Dokumenten ‘Jado Smart’ (china-jado.com).
Die Rckfahrkamera klebte ich direkt oben auf das Dach. Somit habe ich jetzt einen Rckspiegelersatz. Das Bild wird gespiegelt – es ist also genauso, als htte man einen Spiegel ber den nach hinten geschaut wird. Als wetterfeste Kabeldurchfhrung nutze ich eine metrische Kabelverschraubung aus Edelstahl (Fa. Lapp, Modell 53112000, Gegenmutter nicht vergessen!).
Speziell bei diesem Gert ist, dass nach dem Einschalten der Modus wieder aufgerufen wird, der zuletzt aktiv war. Es gibt auch die Mglichkeit das Bild der Kamera, die am Monitor befestigt ist, anzuzeigen.
Weiter ist der Spiegel/Monitor im ausgeschalteten Zustand recht dunkel. Das machen andere Hersteller anders. Ich suchte aber primr keinen Spiegel, sondern einen gut erkennbaren Monitor. Daher eignet sich dieses Gert besonders gut.
Im Gegensatz zu manch anderen Gerte verhlt sich dieses Produkt unauffllig. Viele Andere haben blinkende Symbole im Bild. Wird mit dem G840H aufgezeichnet, erscheint ein roter Punkt – dauerhaft.
Soll nicht aufgezeichnet werden, z.B. weil die Gesetzeslage das mchte, kann die Speicherkarte entfernt werden.
Standartausstattung ist ein Zigarettenanznderadapter mit USB-A Buchse und einem speziellen mini-USB-Stecker-Anschlusskabel (nicht mikro-USB!). Diese Leitung ist recht kurz – allerdings hngt das natrlich immer an der persnlichen Anwendung.
In der Natur der Sache liegt es, dass bei Regen oder anderer Feuchtigkeit auf der Kameralinse die Erkennbarkeit der Aufnahme der Umgebung leidet. Es bietet sich mglicher Weise daher an, die Kamera hinter eine Scheibe zu platzieren, die von einem Wischer freigehalten werden kann. Fr mich ist wichtig, ob sich Etwas hinter mir befindet, das konnte ich bisher immer noch sehen.
Es ist mglich bei Ereignissen, das berschreiben der aktuellen Aufnahme zu sperren. Mir ist aufgefallen, dass das Auslsen selten erfolgreich ist. Das Sperren kann auch ber das Archiv erfolgen und funktionierte dort bisher tadellos.
Fr meinen Scheibensockel am W906 nutze ich den Mercedes-Benz Spiegel A639 810 05 17. Die Dashcam passt gerade so drber, was ich ideal finde. Das Kugelgelenk ist sehr fest. Ich konnte weder durch Fahrbahnunebenheiten noch durch Motorvibrationen Bewegungen der Spiegeleinheit mit Monitor beobachten. Die Monitorabstandhalter ermglichen ein Sammeln der Anschlussleitungen (GPS, Spannungsversorgung & Kamera hinten) zwischen Spiegel und Monitor. Dadurch kann die Leitungsfhrung sauber und unauffllig als ein Strang in den Dachhimmel gefhrt werden.

Both camera’s give you peace of mind
Hi everyone I would just like to say this camera is fantastic. The camera clips to your original mirror and ours is 10″ long so we went for the 12″ mirror which fits much better. The lens is on the left hand passenger side and gives a really clear picture of the road a head. This camera is really easy to set up and I don’t like wires showing so I carefully hid the wires in the car trim. The rear camera was a little bit tricky to route the wire to and it took a couple of hours in all.

Challenges:
– Setup is easy if you know how to lay down the wires and connect it to the right wire for the reversing camera.
– Reversing guidelines hard to use if you can’t put the reversing camera to a low position. You would need to constantly adjust the angle were the reversing camera is looking while reversing. Camera has wide angle but not “tall” angle (if that makes sense).
– Reverse camera turns-off right away even if you are still reversing and just stopped a little bit. On flipside, it doesn’t turn off right away when you are going forward.

Bildqualitt ist bei beiden Kameras super, Nachtschicht bei der Rckkamera knnte ein wenig besser sein. Ich habe einen Skoda octavia kombi und Kabellngen sind alle genug lang. Die Funktion und das fahren mit der Rckkamera finde ich gut, man muss sich nur an die Abstnde mit der Sicht mit der Kamera angewhnen.

This dash cam has exceeded my expectations. Incredible camera and the reversing camera is super clear. Had an initial problem with the wiring and a simple earthing issue was the cause. Did ask the seller a question and they were quick to respond.
Good Product, Outstanding Service
I bought this for my 7.65m long Motorhome to provide a “rear view mirror” to see what’s behind me and to help with reversing as well as a dashcam. I ordered the extra length cable to go with it. Installation in a Motorhome is not that difficult, but running the cable to the rear is time consuming. When installation was complete I had issues with the screen flickering and turning off which made it unusable. Wolfbox support was responsive and really helpful. They sent two replacement mirrors and assisted with troubleshooting until we realised that the power lead was faulty. They sent a replacement and refunded all postage costs promptly. A good product and excellent service – well done Wolfbox!

Das Teil ist Klasse. Sehr gut einzubauen. eigentlich Kinderleicht. Habe es in meinem Ducato. Macht genau was es soll bei perfektem Bild. Habe einen Kastenwagen und mein Rckspiegel zeigt eigentlich nur die Zwischenwand zum Laderaum. Durch die Dashcam habe ich jetzt einen Rckspiegel KLASSE. Bei Nacht muss man die Displayhelligkeit runter dimmen. Geht ganz einfach ein Wisch am Display. Dann ist das Bild Nachts besser. Hat weniger …Pixel vom Licht der mir hinterherfahrenden Autos. Die Filme sind perfekt. Die Bedienung ist super einfach. Klare Kaufempfehlung. Meine Tochter will auch eine … das war klar …

La mont en un Opel Meriva del 2011 y he conseguido pasar todos los cables sin que se vea nada. Por la goma de la puerta del maletero sud un poco, la verdad. Pero el resto muy fcil.

I decided to install this into my tail gate latch , I am happy I did because it is very high quality set up . Very happy with the video resolution, and recording of both rear and front camera at the same time . I went with the hard wire kit . It’s not to bad to install , takes a bit of electrical knowledge.
I had to contact seller as the rear camera cord was not long enough. They were happy to send me a longer 33′ cable . Customer service was amazing.
I would definitely buy this camera again , I like the fact that it is always recording. Will update review after a few months .

A brilliant camera and mirror. The image quality is really good and gives you a much much wider field of view than looking out the back window the traditional way, the back camera is really easy to instal and wire up to the reversing light given you have a basic understanding of how to do it.
Being able to adjust the height of the view from the camera has been a really big benefit to me for reversing as you can adjust it to suit your needs and really look down the back of the car which is simply not possible with a standard mirror.
Along with this bight the front and rear camera have amazing field of views so for recording footage you really do get the entire windshield recorded to capture everything.
Camera works good and night version is pretty surprising me. I got some people helped me to install them and yeah its working properly. They do have good customer service and good feedback from them. Recommended
Works perfect for me, installation took about an hour as I hid all the cables in the car headliner, best thing is the rear camera view is changeable so you can hang it inside the glass on the top or bottom ridge using the 3m stickies supplied and change the view to right side up in the menu. Both cameras are also adjustable up and down with the touch screen. Mine is not hardwired – plugged into power socket – so will only work when the ignition is on. Front camera view is excellent and both front and rear have a pretty wide angle view – all recorded in seperate front and rear folders on the micro SD. Impressed with the quickness of satellite pick up and and the really like the vehicle speed display on the mirror, only minus is using the “mirror” as a mirror at night-time but I have got used to that.
This 12″ Wolfbox car 4X4 centre mirror replacement is the best quality one I have found so far. Combining a dashcam with the clearest rear vision unobstructed by all your camping gear etc. in the back and switchable with a swipe to front view if needed. The rear wired camera is much better than the wi fi camera I have been using with my old phone on the dash which kept interrupting the picture with unwanted messages. It came with a couple of mounting options and a wire connection to your reversing lights to put guide lines on picture with reverse gear engaged. I did not need to use this as my car as most come as standard with this on the console screen. The unit even comes with a GPS antenna and shows date, time and direction on screen when set to your region via the easy menu.

I know that very often you see these things and think Cheap Chinese and your expectations are pretty low. I’m genuinely blown away by this. Camera quality is amazing. Adjustable and can scroll it up or down to suit your vehicle. Reverse camera so amazing quality but almost too zoomed in but has to fit multiple vehicle types so understandable but it works flawlessly and amazing quality. The front camera does the same. Only criticism and again car dependent is there isn’t enough room for cables to fit in the top of the unit for GPS/rear camera etc but unresolved this using a plastic spacer to adjust the angle and get the front camera right and cables fitted. Imagine in an SUV etc it wouldn’t be a problem but my estate focus it’s to tight and points the camera up to high. Value for money if I could give it 6 stars I would. Works perfect footage is great, g force sensor locks in dash cam footage does better than previous 200+ dash cam systems. If your thinking about this or similar systems buy this one.

I had one like this before but it had some defects so I had to buy it again. I especially like this type of camera because it works both as a camera and mirror and you don’t have to hang a separate camera with the mirror.
It is an easy installation with all the kit comes with it. The screen is really big of 12″ and gives a perfect vision. There comes a 32 GB TF card for memory and rear camera too with all the wires and cables for installation and functioning.
It does its job pretty well. It has 2.5k dual-lens streaming media which was not there with my previous one. The picture quality is awesome. Catches every moment very sharply with both front and rear cameras and records there in it. The night vision works well, no problem is catching night moments like day ones. It is a touch screen device easy to operate with multiple functions.
Even there ia parking assistance and GPS.

Now this is the daddy!, if your like me and love 4×4 & your gadgets in the truck then this is the one, it does what it say on the box ticked all the boxes for me & my 4×4 as a canopy on so rear view so not the best , till i fitted this bad boy, the camera’s front and back are top Quality , ive had rearview cam’s before but not at this specification, so easy to set up i think it taken me 105mins top and i move the rear cam twice, i went for mid range on price with this product, & to be honest it’s under priced in my book. kenny the husband
I’m really happy with this so far. This will be an essay because i wanted a lot out of this. I want you to have an easier time than I did in the maddening search for a dash cam with a decent 24hour security monitoring feature.
As a dash cam it’s pretty much perfect. Picture quality is brilliant. I got it mostly for the time lapse security feature, after extensive research across all of the Wolfbox cameras available from the seller on amazon i picked this one. I chose it because i felt the mirror mounted aspect of it was subtle and it wouldn’t attract thieves etc because it didn’t appear to be an expensive dash cam. I also didn’t want the person i suspect is keying my car to notice there were cameras present.
I was looking for a 24 hour parking mode/monitor and this delivers on that, the others all were described as responding to motion. I tried mini cams with this function and found that through a car window infrared motion detection will not trigger. So i suspect that wouldn’t have worked for me. Also the others were described as only recording with the front cam in this mode. This camera records time lapse footage 24 hours from when you exit/power down your car. You need to have it hardwired in to the car for this to work, which I did, I had done by a professional which looked like a nightmare to do frankly more because of the robust nature of my car and its panels than anything though.
Also it’s important to add it will ONLY record for 24 hours and then will cease so as not to deplete to your cars battery. So if like me you wanted this for surveillance then you need to check on your car and turn it on each day. Make sure you remember when you checked it last so as not to miss any potential vandalism etc.
It will record a time lapse video which you can set, i used 0.5 seconds myself and will FRONT and BACK record for 24 hours.
The dash cam starts recording automatically when you drive. I don’t use the reverse parking cam because mine is mounted inside the car and not externally, but with the clarity of both cameras i’m sure it would be really awesome for that. If you had it installed in the bumper like a smart person.
I’m really happy with this so far. I got the Wolfbox hardwiring kit, i’d recommend hardwiring it because you can’t use the time lapse parking mode without that. I did this because some POS has vandalised my car. One thing i’d say in regards to time lapse/parking mode is that it’s not perfect, there are areas out of view on either side of the car and if the weather is bad, rain etc and your mirrors mist up then it’s probably not going to be much good at these times.
Another positive aspect is that it’s really pretty subtle, i think people would have to really know what they were looking for to spot this in your car, especially at night, assuming it’s hard wired in nicely without visible wires.
There were others available designed for right hand drive cars as we have in the U.K but i got this one as it had the most features and best suited my needs. I’m not finding the camera being on the left side a problem at all to be honest. It’s wide angle enough it would catch goings on without being perfectly aligned or close to the drivers perspective or whatever. So if you want this and are thinking it’s not the UK version and unsuitable, i’d say don’t worry about that.
I don’t really pay any attention what so ever to the GPS tracker but that seems to work just fine.
It’s actually pretty easy to navigate the menu and logical, it’s been quite fun looking at what happens when i’m not around. It’s nice having the wide display and being able to review the footage, be that dash cam or parking monitor footage. I think if something happened and you wanted to see it it might be easier to do on a PC though.
I was also worried it wouldn’t be good as a regular mirror, it did seem kind of dark to me at first but now i don’t think i’d want to go back to my regular rear view mirror. It works well as a standard mirror and the darkness of it reduces glare while allowing you to see everything. If anything it’s a better rear view mirror because it’s wider than any i’ve ever seen on a U.K vehicle. So it’s a good mirror on its own without even being plugged in etc.

Endlich eine perfekte Kamera, ich habe davor 3 Kameras ausprobiert und nur Problemen gehabt entweder verzerrtes Bild, Radio Empfang Strungen, oder Mann muss nach Fahrt ende ausschalten ansonsten zeichnet weiter auf bis Batterie nicht leer wird, zeichnet nicht auf oder Start Stopp bringt die Kamera durcheinander. Ich habe lange gesucht ein passendes Produkt fr mein Vito,
jedes Mal habe ich auf Amazon geschaut, ob was Neues auftaucht, und endlich hat die Firma Wolbox eine Kamera angeboten. Seit einer Woche ist die Kamera bei mir eingebaut ich muss sagen das ich begeistert bin, vordere Kamera ist perfekt hintere auch jetzt kann ich Nummernschilder erkennen und das Bild ist gestochen scharf. Da ist auch eine Batterie eingebaut fr park Modus. Ich kann leider nicht ausprobieren, weil ich denn Kit noch nicht bekommen habe ist verschickt sogar kostenlos. Sobald ich die Kamera mit dem Kit verbunden habe, werde ich weiter berichten wie es funktioniert. Leider gibt’s Bedingung der Kamera nicht auf Deutsch nur englisch ist auch kein Funktion-Problem nur natrlich wre besser, die Kamera gibts erst seit kurzem auf den deutsche Markt und ich denke das ein update geben wird, wrde auch den Anbieter empfehlen ist auch kein groes Problem Software umzuschreiben. Wie gesagt bis jetzt bin ich begeistert. Deshalb auch 5 Sterne. Kommunikation mit dem Verkufer funktioniert auch sehr gut innerhalb 3 Std. bekam ich die Antwort auf mein E-Mail.

I only wanted an electronic rear view mirror for my motor home but this gives so much more.
The fact that it is also a front and rear dash cam makes it well worth the price!
As a dash cam it is better than the other 2 I have which cost 3 times the price.
For me just as a rear view mirror it was well worth the cost and I missed out on the deals and ended up paying 119
One of the most important things to me has been the communication with WolfBox, they respond so quickly to enquiries. Always within 24 hours!!
They also supplied me with a motor home extension cable free of charge !!
A recent software upgrade was also supplied and easy to implement.

I have been involved with dash cams for many rears at work and i have had them in my personal cars also fro a number of years, i know the benefits to others by having good dash cam footage when investigates look at the footage. i wanted a good camera and a reversing camera for my new car and having looked at a number of other products i decided on this baaed on the following
1 Had GPS
2 Integrated screen fro both Dash cam and reversing camera
3 Was a mirror based solution ( not adding more device to reduce views)
4 Had SD card with a reasonable size
i had to wait for my new car to be delivered but when it did arrive i was ready to install it
i was able to hide all of the cables in the linings so there is only about 3 inches of cable showing in total looks good
Fitted the rear camera on the underside of the bumper so that it can not be knocked or even seen
Set was a little frustrating as i could not follow the manual as i did not have all of the options they said in the manual when for a test drive and discovered that the sped displayed was wrong but the spread notification was correct so i knew the GPS was working but had to be a software issue i gave up at this point and sent an email to the company and what a service i had the fix the next morning with a firmware upgrade and please to say all sorted they have to be given 10 out of 10 and a gold star
i did include the firmware release and the problems in the email.
we all know how often we get the runaround and they ask us to do all the things we have already tried none of this just new firmware and it worked as instructed
Best part of this camera i think is the ability to adjust the reversing lines to suit you and your car i have not seen this before and the fact that you can adjust the angle and length of the lines bets to use a bucket and then you set it up on you own

The G840 H model has a much better night mode video Front / Back, and changing the reverse lines is easier over the G840S that I also own. However, there are some tradeoffs on the G840H coming from the G840S which there shouldn’t be.
For example:

*** 2) H version NOW HAS a real-time speedometer in the bottom left screen corner ( you can also select to have a Power Icon or Car with active camera view icon instead.
*** 3) H version NOW HAS GPS coordinates stamped on the video when played back on PC . Would be best to have the GPS coordinates displayed on main screen in case of emergency.
***4) H version NOW HAS the option to flip the rear camera image 180 degrees if you need to mount the rear cam on the bumper.
There are some improvements on the H model over the S version. For example:
1) The video is much clearer on the H model ** especially at night, because of the higher resolution camera over the S version.
2) To change camera view on H model from Front-Back, you just swipe L-R or R-L / S version requires 2 button taps.
3) Changing brightness on H model does not require an initial tap to bring up the slider /S version does.
4) The H model has a better, simpler direction indicator.
*** If they add the GPS coordinates readout back to the screen, It’d be a home run.
In conclusion:
I’ll stick with the better video/camera on the new H model. I AM NOW only disappointed in the missing split/screen option and lack of GPS coordinates displayed on main screen.

Very pleased with this camera system that I installed into my camper van. The quality is excellent and the images are clean and clear which make it a really nice and useful addition to the car. The seller is very helpful and included a massive 50ft extension cable and a hard wire kit into the package for me. My only criticism at present is that the hardwire kit could have had better connection instructions and include a piggyback fuse holder but neither were a problem. Would I buy another if required absolutely.
