Better than I expected
I don’t exactly use it for what it was originally designed for.
I use it to get rid of most of my plastic bottles, cardboard plates and other “soft trash”
It works very well and I had no issues with it so far.
However, if you want to do this, do not try to shred plastic bags or anything too flexible as it will get stuck.
Ofc, I can’t blame them for it as it’s not its purpose.

The foam in the box, and the double boxing kept the unit in great condition. After unpacking, set up was so easy, and using the machine was very easy.I’ll have to use it more to determine its endurance to steady use, but so far it’s been good.

Ho acquistato gi 2 di queste macchine di altre Marche e modlo ed erano un fallimento dopo 5/10 minuti si fermavano per 30/35 minuti inutili ma questo distruggi documenti FANTASTICO lavoro per pi di 1 ora e non si ferma mai uno spettacolo naturalmente gli oasdoi fogli lubrificanti ogni tanto e il cassetto(forse un po piccolo) va svuotato sovente ma un prodotto eccezionale lo straconsiglio Ottimo!!!
Ich habe mir den Wolverine Schredder gekauft, weil ich wichtige Dokumente sicher vernichten muss.
Das Gert wurde sehr schnell geliefert. Die Leistung und das Betriebsgerusch sind richtig gut. Er steht neben meinem Schreibtisch und das Betriebsgerusch strt tatschlich nicht. Die Kraft des Motor zieht auch die versprochenen 18 Seiten problemlos durch die Walzen. Kreditkarten werden ebenfalls sehr gut zerkleinert. Auch den Schredder-Test mit DVD hat er gut gemacht. Die Discs werden dabei aber nicht in kleine Stcke zerschnitten, sowie es bei Papier und Kreditkarten der Fall ist, sonder sie werden in 3 Streifen geschnitten. Das reicht aber auf alle Flle aus, denn dort holt keiner mehr Daten raus 🙂
Nach 4 Wochen hatte mein Behlter einen Riss bekommen. Das kann natrlich immer und ber einmal passieren. Der freundliche Kundensupport hat ohne wenn und aber innhalb 3 Tagen einen Ersatz geliefert.
Ich finde es nicht schlimm, dass ein Gert auch mal denkt sein kann. Es ist dann aber unglaublich wichtig einen tollen Support zu bekommen. Genau diese Erfahrung habe ich gemacht und dafr bedanke ich mich ganz herzlich.

Best shredde
I have had a few shredders over the years that were inexpensive, but have been often disappointed. This time I thought I’d spend a bit more for better quality product. Very pleased with my decision as this shredder is amazing. I was able to get through years worth of built up documentation in a couple of hours, Including credit cards!! Great easy to use product and worth every penny.

I’ve never tried this shredder with the full 18 sheets as I don’t like to overload any machine but this shredder works really well an is very quiet. I would thoroughly recommend this shredder.

So far am very pleased with this shredder. It's more powerful than the smaller one I had before and got through a fairly decent stack of paper in less time than I presumed. I was able to put a waste bag inside to catch most of the shredded paper and that's a real bonus. Just wish there was an on/off button. Seems you have to pull the plug to turn it off??

I bought this because we had a huge amount of sensitive documents to shred and I couldn’t find a mobile shredder in our area. I was a bit apprehensive as there were some less than positive reviews, but there were positive ones also. The item took a bit longer to get here than promised “due to weather”, but arrived in good condition, well packed. I didn’t try 18 sheets at a time, primarily because other reviewers cautioned not to. I usually did around 10-12. No issues with jamming or overheating at all. It is very quiet! I probably shredded 2 hours at a time and in two days filled up 8 1/2 33 gallon trash bags. It does have a small 6 Gallon receptacle which others complained about. It didn’t bother me. I just brought my 33 gallon garbage can in, lined it with garbage bag and dumped shredded paper in. Very little mess that way. The one thing I do not like is the difficulty in getting the receptacle seated properly. I found the best way was to snug it up against my knees and pull unit forward until it snapped in. Not sure if it is just this unit that has the issue or if they all are difficult. If there is a weak point this is it, otherwise great product! What did I do with all that shredded material? Found a neighbor who does shipping and he took it all! And another neighbor offered me a job shredding her stuff . I declined, love this shredder but don’t need another job

Habe mit dem Volverine 4 Monate perfekt geschreddert. Dann blieb das Schneidwerk stehen. Eine E-Mail an den Kundenservice und 3 Tage spter stand ein neuer Aktenvernichter vor der Tr. Ohne groe Diskussionen! Da kann sich so mancher deutsche Kundenservice eine Scheibe von abschneiden. Auch wenn er keine 18 Seiten schreddert (brigens seht auch 75g Papier, Standard ist meist 80g) Ich bin mit dem Ergebnis zufrieden und wrde ihn wieder kaufen.

Manufacturers state 18 sheets of thinner 70gsm but most of ours is 80gsm so quite understandably we can’t do as many sheets – no problem as is what you should logically expect. Unit is very sturdy and easy to move about thanks to its 4 small castor feet. We bought the white version and it looks good. Overall we’re really impressed and very happy we chose this model.

I admit I passed the Amazon 30 day window when I finally got this opened to my office( totally my bad). The item indicates you have a 90 day warranty though with the company. Good luck getting a hold of anyone from Wolverine. I tried. I am down the cost of this device without ever using it. I tried every way to get this to work and followed Amazon tech support at least to assist but no luck. Beware when you consider this item for purchase or at least try it ASAP when you get to to see if it has power and actually works for use.

It does all it is advertised to do. We are being careful because our previous shredder was ruined when I tried to make coleslaw.
Standard size envelopes only fit vertically – not horizontally. So far, it seems to be a well-made shredder. Overall, I’m satisfied with the product.
I can’t believe that this shredder ran for six hours without stopping. I feed ten sheets at a time. I emptied four large file cabinets with no problem. Extremely quite. Highly recommended. Well worth the price, saved me hours of labor.

The 60 minute run time means it eats up the paper I am clearing outdated paperwork from my office (and there was tonnes) , my existing shredder which actually cost more when I bought it a few years back, had a 10 /15 minute run time then had to cool down for 20 minutes, was taking forever to get through it, but with the Wolverine it was all gone in a couple of sessions
Would definitely recommend if you have lots of shredding to get through or just want to do it quickly

Figured out it was a connector issue. Wiggling the cable would make it work sometimes. I had Contacted Manufacturer via Amazon website After a couple of notes and emails, Wolverine called me directly to have replacement sent And not to return the broken one
Alan from Wolverine was really great and sent a new Shredder within a week. The new one came is complete packaging. And working well. Thank you Wolverine for resolving the issue.

I bought the 18pages/ 60min Wolverine in great faith. However The Shredder stopped working pretty much right out right out of the box and since I opened the box after 30 days of purchase. Amazon cannot help me and I cannot get in touch with Wolverine manufacturer/ vendor. This has been over 3 weeks now and very frustrating as all my work is delayed
It would jam with 2-3 pages and then take me ~30mins o clear it/ re-try/ clear It’s a large and heavy mshredder to flip upside down and clear jams. The power cord has to be wiggled for shredder to work. Every 10secs. This is a faulty shredder and I cannot get any product support still.

This does take in a lot of sheets of paper and is a real work-horse. It is not real fast, as one I owned before, but because it does so many sheets I think is why it is slower. It is not super slow, but not as fast as others I have owned.
I like the white clean look to it. Seems very sturdy.

When we got this in the office I couldn’t wait to start shredding things. It has not jammed once and we have stuck all kinds of stuff in it, it bogs down a little bit when we shove rude customers into it but it does great on small children. It works great no complaints.

Takes a good amount of paper at one time compared to another shredder I had. Impressed with power level.
Use for shredding cardboard for composting. This thing just chomps away on whatever I can fit in the feed slot. A bit expensive, but worth it.
We have used this for several months and it works well. We are satisfied with noise level and ability to continuously shred for over 30 minutes at a time.
Advertised to cross cut 18 sheets. It does do that, but the cutter motor really slows down with that many sheets. A dozen typical (to me) weight paper sheets work better. Adding more sheets slows the shredding speed so you’ll need to find your optimum sheet feed load based on the kind of paper you’re trying to shred – it’s a speed vs quantity trade off.
There are also no instructions about what/when/how to lubricate the cutters, only a reference not to use an aerosol spray (lubricant). So I bought a bottle of Fellowes shredder lubricant, and as it turns out, that’s just regular canola (vegetable) oil. My previous cross cut shredder manual, a Fellowes unit, recommended lubricating after every bin dump, so that’s what I plan to do with this Wolverine unit.
The unit is much quieter than my previous Fellowes cross cut shredder which lasted a noble 11 years.
Advertised to cross cut 18 sheets. It does do that, but the cutter motor really slows down with that many sheets. A dozen typical (to me) weight paper sheets work better. Adding more sheets slows the shredding speed so you’ll need to find your optimum sheet feed load based on the kind of paper you’re trying to shred – it’s a speed vs quantity trade off.
There are also no instructions about what/when/how to lubricate the cutters, only a reference not to use an aerosol spray (lubricant). So I bought a bottle of Fellowes shredder lubricant, and as it turns out, that’s just regular canola (vegetable) oil.
