Perfect for the DIY'e
I use alot of machines in my line of work. No good for heavy use everyday. However it’s fantastic for the DIY’er that will use this for the average job
Reliability
Perfect size easy to use great for the project it was brought for haven’t contacted the seller and I am very happy with the service I received
.
Took a few goes to get use to it..but a useful little tool ..
Four Stars
good tool shame lazer dos`nt work 9 for new batteries still not working but happy with saw.
Only One medium DIY project in, but wow
Had a small DIY project including a fair amount of decking and this thing was invaluable. So far it’s been accurate, easy to use and the cuts have barely needed sanding. You can hear the motor slow down on large knots but it was cutting around 44mm batons with no problem. Have only used it for a few weeks though so we’ll see on the durability fro
Handy saw
I used to have the old 78mm-350watt model which I loved. This model has subtle improvements. I use them alot for tiling, flooring and general sawing. Very handy.
It's already one of my favourite tools!
This saw is amazing value for money, ruggedly built and very comfortable to use. I’ve been fitting uPVC soffits and facia boards to the house and having to trim the width of 5mt lengths was made easy using the Worxsaw fitted with a fine toothed blade. It also made short work of chopping up a broken hardwood steamer chair so I could take it to the tip. I would recommend this saw to serious DIYers and tradespeople alike, it’s a great piece of kit.
Excellent and I've still got 10 fingers
For years I’ve used a jigsaw to cut close to the line and finished with a block plane. My mitres on 7 inch skirtings always had a bit of filler. Then I tried a circular saw but they are just too unwieldy for small pieces of timber and delicate work. The choice was a sliding mitre saw, a chop saw or a mini circular saw. I chose this Worxs and I wish I’d bought one years ago as they are so good.
I’ve just finished using it to cut and rip 25mm, damp decking boards. The saw was accurate and fast. I found an aluminium roofing square ideal as a straight edge for cross cuts and clamped lengths of timber to act as guide for long rip cuts, a rip fence is included in the box. The laser makes this easy to line up along a long edge, some of the wood being ripped off was only 50mm wide.
The Worx WX427XL can do mitred cuts, has good depth of cut and a motor powerful enough to slice through softwood to maximum depth, rip floorboards and fibreboard and get through hardwood without a problem. Plunge cuts are easy and cutting slots a breeze, finishing with the saw as a ‘Polish Chisel’ to clear out the slot. The metal blade made an easy job of cutten metal gully covers to length.
The laser is bright enough for daylight use and is genuinely useful. The one slight drawback is that it’s battery powered rather than automatically activated when the saw is on.
A really great saw.
I bought this to cope with jobs that I was having trouble with using a jig saw. It is superb. Nice clean cuts and a width guide that means if you want to cut pieces with a consistent width it’s a piece of cake. No having to draw lines and then try to follow them. Set the guide and you’re off. The Worx tools are inexpensive, but they can do the job.
Amazing product and quickly delivered
This saw is truly amazing! I am using it to cut stud timber and it cuts through on 2 seconds versus 20 seconds with my manual saw. The laser ensures accuracy and quite frankly it is the best diy tool purchase I have made.
it is very safe to use
i like the way the guard always protects the saw wheel at all times, it makes a lovely clean cut, i have a disability in my hands, but i find this machine easy to hold and sta
Handy tool
Used it, and a chisel, to cut and remove section of bark around a tree. It struggled a bit at the deepest setting, but I managed by cutting a bit slower. The laser guide came in very handy, but if you keep forgetting to turn it off, you’ll be replacing those batteries often. It would make sense if the laser turned itself off after a while of cutting inactivity.
Very Pleased with Purchase
Purchased this as a lighter weight saw for less heavy duty and more awkward jobs. I was worried the saw might be too cumbersome and not powerful enough, but the saw has proved ideal for the job and at a great price. Would buy again without hesitation.
This turned out to be the a handy little tool for quick cutting, I have a fixed circular saw and a large heavy circular saw and a jigsaw, but ended up using this a lot for quick cutting, mostly because it’s easy and quick to grab and use.
Pros: compact – one handed operation, supplied with cutting guide to cut parallel to an edge. Easy to control. Nice 2.5m cable.
Cons: It wouldn’t cut in a straight line at first. I replaced the saw blade and that fixed it, I suspect the one provided was a bit warped. Not very powerful, so had to go slow through hardwood, but didn’t find anything it wouldn’t cut.
Finally: mine died after just over a year and about 3 blades. It would stop with the motor still running. Eventually the motor would run but the disk didn’t spin. I took it apart and the metal teeth on the ring gear had worn down so they no longer engaged in the pinion.
Handy and functional
Very Handy to have around. Not as huge and scary as a circular saw and a lot easier to handle. I was a bit dissapointed that cuts don’t ever seem to be perfectly straight but for functionality this is a really good item.

Great one handed saw.
I have longed for one of these saws for some time, and having got one so wished I had done so earlier. It cuts superbly with a good finish, but you must let the saw do the work, not force it through. Using a fence to butt the saw against for a longer cut is well worth while, but there is a problem in that the saw depth lock can hit any clamp holding a straight edge. Answer is low profile clamps or make a wider straight edge. (Hence 4 stars, but I am being a bit mean)
Cutting battons is easy too, using a set square as a fence, one can cut with one hand on the saw.
A floorboard section is easy to remove by setting the depth and plunging the saw to start the cut.
I have used the blade that came with the saw, 24 teeth and TCT, thought it may be a bit coarse but so far ok, I will get a finer blade though.
All in all, an excellent saw, just get one.

A Very Useful and Smug Purchase
I have various DIY tools that don’t get much use but always on hand and this tool has seen some serious use since I bought it. From trimming MDF shelves to a ton of decking in my/son’s garden, along with fence panels and posts. As far as I’m concerned it’s paid for itself several times over just in terms of speed.
Very easy to use and I have found the cutting guide rail (included) to be very useful indeed. I’m lucky in that I can easily use it one handed but appreciate that someone with small hands may experience problems, as the handle is quite thick since it houses the motor. The included blade is brilliant, having said that, I have only used it for cutting wood of various thickness. Another caveat is the cutting depth which is about 26mm – all the decking I cut was 28mm thick, however the cut was deep and precise enough to simply snap the ends off. For some fence posts I simply rotated them and cut from the other side – easy.
My son and friend were well impressed with the WORX, sadly for the makers they won’y be purchasing one as they’ll be borrowing mine!

Only used this for installing laminate flooring but the time it saved compared to using a hand saw is unbelievable probably took 2-3 hrs off the job as well as a lot of grief.
A must for every toolbox
This is a superb product and a great addition to my tool she’d. The supplier was the bad side to it because the product box had been revealed and when l opened it found it had been used and the blade key was missing. Do not let that put you off purchasing this saw as it’s strongly constructed and brilliant to use
DIY Dream
This is a handy little power tool which is ideal for DIY jobs with a range of interchangeable blades for every task. It was value for money and has already paid for its self
Four Stars
good product for ease but be careful on kickback, not for a beginner on DIY
Good value
So far so good it has jammed a couple of times but it was cutting wet wood but I am happy with it good value

Good little saw unit would be better with a wingnut type srew to tighten up guide instead of a Allen key
Excellent, useful little saw. I wanted this to use for smaller jobs where my existing full-size circular saw was overkill, but didn’t want to use a hand saw, needed a straighter cut than I can manage with my jigsaw, or wanted (careful) plunge abilities. I thought the 27mm depth of cut may be a bit limiting, but the primary jobs I was using it for were 18mm MDF, 2×1 batons, plasterboard and floorboards, all of which it handles with aplomb.
Small and easy to use one-handed while supporting the work piece with the other hand, if needed. I may well purchase its bigger brother in time if the depth of cut of this model begins to be too limiting, but I’d definitely recommend this one – I’ve been finding myself reaching for it for cuts where I wouldn’t usually bother pulling out a power tool for just because it’s so easy.

This all go so would like a Knouff I cannot knife through butter beautiful very very good very quick and excellent money for value
Bought initially for cutting mdf and chipboard sheets to avoid hand cutting. The first cut made in 9mm mdf showed up the need to set the depth of cut appropriately. It was also not easy to follow a pencil line as there was a tendency to drift to one side. Using a clamped on batten, some inch or so from the desired cut line, the saw performed well with a smooth and accurate cut resulting. Power is adequate for mdf and chipboard up to 12mm but it struggles with thicker boards. Once the feel of the tool has been got used to it is comfortable to use. Quality of build and ease of adjustment is good as is value for money.
will not run up against a straight edge tries to cut inwards and ruins workpiece,( try out on scrap piece first) you will after set up blade accurately with fence as body and blade alignment are poor. once this is done it a brilliant tool otherwise i would have given it 5 stars
Great but has a few flaws
Great tool for cutting floorboards and also chasing walls for cabling. Paired with a Henry Hoover its fairly dust free too although needed to tape the henry adaptor to the end of the output from the saw.
However cannot give 5 stars for a various reasons…
– First one I purchased had a faulty laser light so had to be replaced
– Depth adjustment has a tendency to work loose, so I’ve sometimes cut grooves in joists when cutting floorboards (luckily it missed all the pipes and electric cables!!!)
– Plunge cutting cannot be used at the same time as setting a depth
Been using this a while and I love it. Still have all my fingers too. If I have to say one thing about it that niggles it would be the laser, it switched itself on in the box and the battery was flat, in a flash. Could do with toggle button, not push.
Silly me. Just tried to cut a work top with it and it did not go all the way through. Forgot it only cuts to 27mm and worktop is 38mm. Lucky I had my big circular saw with me as well. Still, it was easy to use and cut through the worktop easily. Slightly heavier than I thought and the depth adjustment doesn’t work as I expected (thought it would start off flush and then allow you to push it down to the required depth however, the base plate is fixed in place, not sprung, and you have to start the saw at an angle and then let it cut down to the required depth. Not a major problem but I think the more expensive version works slightly better?
Extremely prompt delivery (earlier than expected). All appears in order. Awkward to hold, though that may just be a matter of getting used to it. One minor problem – one of the catches of the plastic box it’s supposed to be kept in is broken (pictured). Is it worth complaining about though?
Christmas Gif
Christmas gift, obviously not for me hence only 4 stars (my humour it would have been 5 star if it was mine!)
If you need to cut through floorboards (especially down the middle of joists) or floorboard tongues then this is a great tool.
Much cheaper than the alternative plunge saw and does a perfectly good job for boards. The included wood blade will go through nails but take it slow and always let the saw stop spinning before removing it from the material.
Tricky to get a perfectly straight line on a new board though and impossible to use to shave off small amounts (less than about 5mm).

I own the first incarnation of this tool which fits a 78mm blade, I use it for rebating and grooving and cutting sheet material. it is limited by it’s depth of cut of 28mm ish I love it despite its limitations. So I bought it’s big brother mainly to cut deeper for example ..decking boards… but I also bought the tougher blade for its 1.8mm kerf. This has allowed me to cut perfect channels for weather stripping and refurbishing 20 sash windows (2.0mm is recommended but I knew from previous attempts 1.8 would do.) If you have ever fiddled about with a router trying to do this job you will know it can be a nightmare on site with limited workspace…this little beauty zipped through the job without a single wobble, also trimmed doors, channeled out for intumescent stripping. The saw has plenty of chuff and can cut its way through a fire door.. provided you can allow it to take it’s time and not push it. It is a bit heavier than the 400 watt version but I have both now….a great flexible site tool.
Finally got to use this saw today. Had to resize a door by taking about 4″ off the bottom. The saw is easy to configure for depth etc, and a comfortable weight/size to hold. The laser line produced is accurate and the cut finish with the included wood blade is much better than I expected. I was cutting hardwood, and had no sanding etc to do once the cut was finished – it was good as it was. I was also impressed how easily it cut through the wood. Prior to having this saw, all wood cutting I had previously done was with a jigsaw, which took longer, was way less easy to produce a straight edge and took much longer to cut through the wood. I wish I had bought this years ago. Highly recommended!
Four Stars
The saw works fine but the laser light has never worked, even after three new packs of batteries. Disappointing.
Goes through 8mm OSB board like a hot knife through butte
Much more user friendly than a full sized disk saw.
Easier to get a straight edge than a jigsaw.
Quicker.
Goes through 8mm OSB board like a hot knife through butter.
Very pleased with it.
cut the time easily by more than half with the straight cuts
Love this item. Never used a handheld circular saw and was worried about kick back etc. No need, there isn’t any. I had previously been using a jigsaw, this cut the time easily by more than half with the straight cuts. should have bought it earlier!
Purchased for a specific DIY job, namely cutting through 1/4 inch hardboard laid over (extremely squeaky) floorboards.
Unlike a full-size circular saw this was controllable and could be set to precisely cut the overlaid boards without ripping the underlying surface, and it made easy work of restoring damaged skirting boards with somewhat eccentric angles. Used freehand on material in situ (like a vibrating saw – Wilco rather than Worx, but still very effective) I got a neat result with a minimum of mess, noise and foul language.
As an Amazon Warehouse deal was available I went for it and so got a substantial reduction (enough pay for the Worx 44 tooth cross-cut blade). The only missing item was a dust extraction adapter (a little piece of plastic tubing intended to bridge the gap between a 20mm diameter extraction port and a ‘standard’ vacuum cleaner hose, whatever that is) and a printed manual.
Since Worx make the manuals available in PDF the lack of instructions wasn’t a biggie and if I desperately need to extract the dust some day I suspect a little work with some 20mm hose, a jubilee clip and some duct tape will work as well (if not better).
The standard (already fitted) fitted 24 tooth Tungsten Carbide blade cut very cleanly despite having self-evidently been used previously by a previous customer who forgot the cardinal rule of power tools – let the motor do the work – and from the burning and scoring said customer tried to force a full-depth cut through a plank in one go.
However that turned out when treated with respect both the blade and power tool did their respective jobs, indicating both are quality items what can stand a little abuse now and then, but If you invest in a precision mini-saw, take my advice: let the machine do the work as forcing the thing will only result in tears before bedtime, where making several cuts at increasing depth takes little extra time but greatly reduces the frustration-factor, not to say acting-out and cussing ocassioned by waiting for the overheat protection circuit to re-set.
The only part of the job that required the full-size saw was a pair of matching 45 degree cuts to form an ‘outside’ mitre joint, something the a small handy tool like this simply isn’t built for.
good tool
handy tool for what it is – dont expect to build a barn with it , but for small jobs trimming thin wood its handy to have , lightweight so very easy to handle , just dont expect it to match a full size one in performance
Fantastic little saw
I bought this to cut some 2mm aluminium chequer plate. It turned out to be a fantastic little saw. It cut through the plate so easily. I can see this being one of the best tools in my toolbox.
Great quality
Fantastic and easy to use this is the second Workz tool I have bought and I have been impressed by the quality. I only wish it had a case like the multitool as that would be ideal or if they sold the boxes seperate.
Great little saw. Gives a wonderful smooth cut.
Great little saw. Since getting this I have pretty much used it 24/7 lol
It is just so useful and really comfortable in the hand, so I almost find myself looking for things to use it on.
Gives a wonderful smooth cut kind of between a hacksaw and a buzz saw in finish.
I must say, this is just what i hoped it would be – a sensibly shaped saw (like an angle grinder, but longer – though its larger, its easier to hold, with both hands, so its great), the blade is nice and small.
So its perfect for just cutting bits of THIN wood up, without too much fuss. I do love it, actually. It only cuts 27mm deep, but for most small jobs, thats fine. For instance, if you are boxing in piperowrk (im fitting a bathroom), its great for cutting all the ends off (and you can fit a vacuum).
Glad I did
I am 84 years old and a bit passed using hand saws. I have a garage door that “Jammed” shut in the winter and required a bit “OFF” the width. A big job for an old guy. so, i saw this tool and thought it would help. Glad I did, “IT’s THE CATS JAMMIES” easy to use quick and left a professional job.
Just read the instructions and all will be well.
A very good saw which is light, quiet and accurate. So far in use I can see only one major drawback, which resulted in me knocking down the rating by one star.
Drawback – The safety button on the side is in a very awkward position if you have small hands like me, trying to push both the safety button and the start trigger at the same time means you have to contort your hand and you end up not having a good grip on the unit.
Mine arrived today and what a game changer it is, as a carpenter it’s about “getting the job done with the right tool not the most expensive tool”
And this saw is amazing. If you ain’t ordered yours yet WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!!! I fitted out 3 bedrooms today with engendered wood flooring and it cut like butter through every board. My mitre saw didn’t even make it out the van today all I needed was this. it then ploughed it’s way through 3 moulded doors all in seconds. So my plunge saw wasn’t needed either due to the larger cut capacity, it’s great for all applications.
So when I got Home I tried cutting a solid kitchen worktop! it just cut straight through, straight and true which I was surprised due to the blades being so thin. This will now be in the tool bag for every use.
Everyone use’s tools differently, but use it right and it will perform and this is amazing no need for a gym work out with heavy circular saws this saw is balanced perfectly and you’ll want to use it for every pro or DIY job.
Bought this saw to compliment a multi tool saw/sander as occasionally have to complete minor repairs to window frames and fascia boards before painting. Works a treat for plunge cuts to just the right depth if set correctly, will also cut on the bevel and well worth getting. Works well with the guide fence even when making the thinnest of cuts. Good addition to any tool box professional or DIY.
Good, but does have a WICKED AND NASTY kick back if you are not careful.
They do warn about this, but how many of us read instructions?
Caused a scratch on the kitchen work-surface I was working on, but only just visible.
iNSERT IN MIDDLE OF A RUN AND THEN CUT BOTH WAYS
Laser light is BRILLIANT and not many have this.
Little Beauty
At last I have found a saw I can use without struggling, I used this for cutting boards to use in loft. So to all you DIY ladies I recommend this
compact circular saw. Light enough to use with one hand, yet powerful to cope with most tasks.
Easy to use and versatile. Great for trimming doors, skirting etc. It’s cuts like a dream. I would have give it five stars but the laser stopped working after a few uses. Don’t let that put you off as it’s not needed. Would i buy it again? Definitely.

No circular saw is ever going to be safe but this is pretty good. Best to keep both hands on the saw though and clamp work as you would with a larger saw. It is so versatile and easy to use one can forget its still dangerous. The saw takes 5 seconds to spin down after turn off so just freeze and count down to zero before you move on. The guard does come up though immediately as you lift it away. With the simple V slot guide and accurate edge guide, you dont need a fancy laser beam.
Very pleased with my new Word wx423 85mm saw.
Nice and light and handles well.
Excellent item
Excellent item which is working well. Laser light guide appears to be 1-2 mm off to the line of the cut.
Great saw
Absolutely a great saw , easy to use , cuts well , brilliant laser up to the point when it gives up , but I’ve never had a laser that has lasted more than a week before ????
Powerful saw!
Excellent product. Stronger and more powerful than I thought. I later bought a long clamp which can hold a large piece of material, allowing me to use the straight edge to run the saw up against, therefore ensuring a beautifully straight cut.
Thanks to Worx for their great products. I’ll now be buying the F50 oscillating saw!
No idea what some of the 1* reviews were doing re: depth of cut and jamming? Perhaps the wrong blade, perhaps pushing the saw rather than letting the blade cut (a fundamental basic rule same as using a handsaw) ………. I have cut 32mm decking, 40mm studding and 22mm board with no issues? Yet to try it on metal and ceramics. The saw is a great addition to either the pro or experienced DIY’ers tool kit.
Just updating as have now experienced jamming …… there seems to be two causes .1. if the timber is damp the exhaust blocks and packs around the blade .2. a change in timber density, for example, a knot or associated hardness.
Very handy little tool.
Very handy little tool used for 18mm sterling n 3x2s so far and no trouble at all. Not sure about battery lazer and having to switch on and off but thats the only small negative. Nice box, nice easy tool to use
Excellent Saw
This is an amazing saw, it has the comfort of a good quality jigsaw and the precision and power of a circular saw. Really good addition to the tool bag, perfect straight and plunge cuts, very stable and no vibration. Having the XL model allows for a deeper cutting depth so perfect for trimming doors, sheets of ply with ease.
Used this to make a flooring project go by a bit quicker. Great for cutting boards straight as a die down the middle with the guide and the hoover attachment is well placed meaning practically no sawdust at all. I bought a 60t blade for the job but one with a lower tpi was supplied. Great bit of kit for the price
Quite powerful, cuts plasterboard easily – plenty of dust. One grumble – no directions as the which way to insert two CR44 batteries. Spent several minutes using various combinations of + and -. In the end the two batteries were dead by the end of the day’s work!

My husband had the smaller saw and someone used it and broke it so I I bought this one to replace it and it’s absolutely brilliant, the only criticism I have is that the batteries won’t go into the battery compartment which means the laser part doesn’t work.
I bought this compact circular saw to trim the top of a new fence to get a level height. after marking the level I was able to finish the job in a fraction of the time using a jigsaw and handsaw. I can see many uses for the future. Very pleased.
Good saw, used it whilst installing some wood laminate flooring it was quick easy to use although a little heavy. The price l purchased from Amazon was very competitive. I would recommend this product but one should remember the depth of cut is quite shallow but is powerful enough to give excellent smooth cut.
Four Stars
ice thing to have for the occasional odd job. I much prefer the cordless type
Great compact saw.
I had been looking for a compact saw for sometime and read reviews to assist in my decision. I am glad I ignored some of the negative reviews on this product. This is a great piece of kit and I wish I had purchased for earlier jobs. Neat, stable and fast clean cut up to its maximum depth no problem. I would recommend.
Wow what a tool. Been struggling with a big circular saw for some time and it feels so dangerous. This tool is small, light, and it ripped through wood with accuracy including a certain piece of wood that my big wheel had real trouble with. Couldn’t believe the speed and cleanness of the cutting. Will be using it next to lay boards in the attic.
Now I know bette
Great little saw. Did have the same problem as other reviewers here about non-straight cutting, but found out it was because I was using the wrong blade with the material I was cutting. `i don’t know what the physics of it all is, but when I used the fine toothed blade on wood, it was impossible to cut a straight line. I then changed to the coarser wood cutting blade,….no problem.
Superb, powerful. I needed to get some sections of floorboards up and this plunged and cut through them like butter. Of course, you need to keep the blade clear of the existing floorboard nails but as long as you cut somewhere near the middle of the joist you can then prise the boards up easily enough and then fix them back down when you have finished without having to put in a false joist. I think I will be making extensive use of this tool.

A must have tool..
A very handy saw to add to my tool collection.I will be using to remove some floor boards and then put them back. my other multi purpose tool makes it hard work so this will do the job. I have used the circular for other jobs at home and it works.
Nice little saw
Nice little saw, very usefull as you don’t need to get out the big circular saw.
Only 1 problem I have found is that it is very difficult and potentially dangerous to start if you are left handed (the locking button is awkward to press)

Ticks a Lot of Boxes
As an occasional DIY-er, I was considering the use of a table, mitre or circular saw. When I saw this, it appeared to fit the bill perfectly. I’ve used it numerous times since it has arrived and it has been great to use and I am very pleased with it. It also relatively small and therefore doesn’t use up too much shed/cupboard space and comes supplied with a great storage box.
Constructive criticism to Worx would be:
1. put some auto-time out on the laser – the batteries ran flat when I inadvertently left it on during an afternoon of DIY – given that it was a sunny afternoon, I didnt spot tha the laser beam was on.
2. Please can you market a saw blade with more teeth to ensure a smoother cu
Fanastic value and great ki
great tool – laser is poor in daylight (outside in sun) and eats batteries if you leave it on! Otherwise its a great hand held tool – I have a large circular saw which was too big and bulky for my needs – this was ideal and so easy to line up with the help of the laser. Love it great bit of kit!
Worx for me.
I have only used the saw to cut 9 Ply Plywood up to now but found the cut to be 95% splinter free in all cut directions across the board. This could be down to it being a brand new blade and may worsen in time. There was enough power in the motor to breeze through the cut without any problem at all. The only minor problem for me is I cannot press the safety button with my thumb if I hold the saw in a comfortable sawing position. I am having to press the button in with my left hand and pull the trigger in the sawing position with my right hand. Not a problem at the moment because I tend to clamp everything I cut to the workbench but may not always be able to do this if I need to hold anything with my left hand while sawing. I would like the safety button to be housed just a little higher up for this reason but understand we are not all built the same.
I have yet to use properly and have just had a quick play. Its very good.. Nice to hold and use, I tried it with the supplied blade and the finish was very good. I did purchase the fine 60t blade also so this should be great.

Brilliant.
Makes cutting up pallets for the wood burner a piece of cake.
Only one issue is the weight. Pretty heavy going on the fore arms after a while.
Great Saw, replacement blades are too expensive.
Really nice bit of kit, really glad I bought it, I have used it in a number of jobs since I bought it. The shape of the guide means that it can be ajusted to take off even the smallest amount. Very little kick on start up. Lazer a great help to give stright cuts, it is so easy to follow premarked lines. So why not 5 stars? Can’t understand why it it was made with 46mm cut, as so much marerial is 50mm. I can only think it is so that other blades will not fit. The replacement blades are expensive and as I have been cutting mahogany the wood blade is already feeling blunt. I don’t think everyone would want the 3 blades that come with it, but there is no choice. I hope cheaper replacements come on the market soon. The grip is quite wide and when doing a lot of cutting can be difficult to grip for someone with a small hand.
A must-have power tool
I bought this to cut down several IKEA Billy bookcases to fit into alcoves so they looked like bespoke furniture. So pleased with this power tool, which made the light work of the cutting. I found the laser light redundant is the saw naturally wants to cut in a straight line. A must for any handyman’s tool-box
you'll want one of these
his is an amazing, handy, useful tool. I bought it as a Christmas present for my husband and he was using it before new year on a project that we had started in November and were slowly working through. He showed our daughter how to use it. It was ideal for cutting plastic and wood and we didn’t even have to get the work table out.
Great tool
Excellent tool , only downside are reports replacement blades hard to get , hope this is not the case
Used it today. Amazing bit of kit. Son is a joiner……possibly won’t see my saw again as he has “had a wee loan!”…. as he said it was a lot easier to use on small jobs rather than having to set up his large circular saw…..
I bought a rival model and had three of them each being returned with a different problem over a 6 month period. Not with the Worx. It is a solid, strong, reliable (so far) piece of kit. You can feel its capability by comparison to the other rival models. It’s a lot more money but more than worth it if your going to be using it often and need reliability. Buy with confidence.
eally like to give 5 stars for this great product but ...
eally like to give 5 stars for this great product but it was for right handed while I am a left handed overall quality for this machine tried it as soon as I got it really perform well and support my job with about 50% to make my meet and accuracy also I feel like I have upgrade my skill like a pro
excellent big brother version on original worx circular saw
bigger capacity and angled cuts
Does what is Says on the box, with the added benefit of cutting at angles between 0-45degs. This feature was the clincher for me especially in areas whereby after to cut you wish to marry up angles. Depth of cut 46mm vs. 27mm also very impressive and an added bonus for me. Build quality is very good & back by 3 years warranty, but you must register online with Worx. A friend who does house maintenance swears by Worx as a brand & has had his the handheld saw without any issues. He uses his for business mine is for general DIY use.
