6 months of x box live gold. You get a code via email you input it on the screen where you want to purchase x box live Gold. It gives you an option to use a code for it. Once you do that your pretty much done just follow the instructions press ok blah blah blah simple. Just make sure you haven’t purchased the game pass as from the reviews here it takes off a few months for that. So you won’t get the full 6 months I think. I’m not 100 per sure as i haven’t purchased the games pass as i personally think waste of money. X box live gold is all you need really.

Okay. So my intial reaction was to want to warn people that there was a problem with this item, and look into the details afterwards.
Here’s some information that may help. The purchase from Amazon is perfectly legitimate, in that the code is indeed for 12 Month’s of xbox live. Apologies to Amazon for and suggestion to the contrary. The problem exists with MS – No surprise there! This is basically how it works. If you have a current Gamepass ultimate subscription, then you will not be able to purchase or add an additional Xbox live only subscription on your console – Your console will prevent this. However, if like me you purchase more Xbox live from Amazon and then try to extend your current Xbox live, You will be told by MS that your newly purchased 12 months of Xbox live will automatically be converted into a paltry 4Months of additional Gamepass ultimate. Now, if you don’t particulary care about game pass – After all It just consists of a few MS AAA titles and the rest are old or mediocre games- then you will certainly not want to lose 8Months of live for 4Months of Game pass. Here’s the advice I received; If you want to redeem your code as a full 12months Xbox live rather then convert it to a measley 4 months of games pass, you must not use your new code until your current subscription of gamepass expires. I cannot confirm this as yet, because I still have several months of Gamepass remaining. Hope this helps with any confusion.

What do I do next.
I bought this for my grandson, when the code arrived I did not realise that by clicking REDEEM I was actually activating it. So when he enters the code it tells him that he can’t use it as it has already been redeemed. ( in my defence I am 74 and have no knowledge of these things.) Is there anything I can do to put this right?

A new world of opportunities
Bought for my son, he’d not been on Xbox live and although apprehensive at first loved the whole experience. Went for the 3 month in case he was sure as he can be a little shy and sensitive. This new platform, linking up with friends and working together to play Overwatch and Fortnite is building his confidence.
Got this in the black friday sale, brilliant discount against its full price. I always find it pricey for xbox live considering PC players don’t pay but got this as a gift for someone and they love it. I would buy from Amazon directly, they automatically email you the code, redeem this and your set to go, Amazon are a trusted trader so your code should work without issue whilst some sellers could be tricky, most are fine but there is always one. I prefer physical cards if it isn’t amazon themselves, great for quick redemption without having to go out.

I always find it pricey for xbox live considering PC players don’t pay but got this as a gift for someone and they love it. I would buy from Amazon directly, they automatically email you the code, redeem this and your set to go, Amazon are a trusted trader so your code should work without issue whilst some sellers could be tricky, most are fine but there is always one. I prefer physical cards if it isn’t amazon themselves, great for quick redemption without having to go out.
Bought as a present for my son, who likes his new Xbox One S and wants to get into online multiplayer games. An annual membership seems like the most economical way of getting Xbox Live, and after a quick search the Amazon price was the best I could find at the time. Activating the service was very easy, although it includes an option to sign up for an additional free month by activating the auto-renewal feature. Although this seemed tempting at the time of activation, the auto-renewal price wasn’t competitive, so be careful if you choose this option.
I love my xbox but its a whole other world when you play online, I played games without the online experience for some time but thought I would try the online gameplay with other players, the digital download process was painless see picture.
When you play online it changes things completely makes the games much more interesting. Great fun.
I normally buy my Xbox subscription via a card in a high street retailer but they work out quite expensive compared to buying it online here, not to mention this is delivered instantly so you are good to go straight away. You also get the great Amazon customer service so for me it’s win win all round. Code worked fine on my live subscription.
Generally cheaper than buying directly from the Xbox Store and much quicker than waiting for a physical code to come through the door.
As soon as you purchase this, the code will be available for you to enter into your Xbox.
One thing to note: These cannot be stacked/overlapped. I had to wait until the day my Xbox Live ran out, before being able to use this.

Always bought off CD keys dot com but nowadays they’re no cheaper and Amazon is much simpler (CDK require text/call conformation) with added purchase protection. Code is instantly delivered to your digital game library in your account, I’ve found it’s easier to find on desktop version. Product itself is great, never have any issues with Xbox live. Play nearly every night with friends on a range of online games like GTA V, Ark, The Division etc and have never suffered issues other than developer maintenance. Games with Gold can be hit or miss but I’ve certainly got my moneys worth out of it, especially with the backwards compatible 360 games. This month when I write this it’s Lego Star Wars complete saga and Star Wars The Force Unleashed.
XBOX Live is the benchmark for console online networks (and that’s coming from a PS4 owner, although I do still have my Xbox 360). It has always ‘just worked’… and worked well. The convenience here is that the code is emailed to you by Amazon without the need for delivery – meaning you cut out the wait and the extra price. The digital code works exactly the same as the physical card and gives instant access to Xbox Live for another 12 months.
Interesting note – you can ‘stack’ codes. That means if you find a good deal (anywhere not just on Amazon) you can buy one, two, three, etc cards, enter the codes and the 12 months will stack, meaning you will have 12, 24, 36, etc months of Xbox Live to use!

Great that Amazon do Xbox Live e-codes.
This enabled me to both take advantage of the 30 day free trial that came with my Xbox and get a discount on a further 12 months of membership.
If you are entering this code on the Xbox (necessary to avail myself of the 30 day free trial) ignore the dash characters, the Xbox will automatically insert the dash after you have entered a group of five characters.
The only complication is with a family, something that seems to be poorly documented. Basically ALL users on the Xbox to which the membership is applied gain access to Xbox Live services. However, only the specific gaming account the Membership is applied to, gains the full benefits of being able to access Live from a different console and have their scores etc. available to them.

I Brought this 5 minutes ago and it took me through to a card details page where you have to put in your card details again and I did and it was just making sure that it was you buying it, if that happens to you, don’t worry about it. then it went on to a ‘processing order’ page which will say that its processing of course,, for me it took a while but it shouldn’t take that long. it then said that it will take up to 4 hours to come through but I checked my email that is linked to my amazon and it was there waiting to be used. so within 5 mins I had the code and was playing online straight away.
over all very satisfied 🙂

I had tried to get the code from another website previously (if I could remember the site name I would tell everyone) but they wanted a scanned copy of my passport before they would release the code…when the payment came through a verified paypal account ? Ridiculous. I told them to refund me and I would go to Amazon, thank you very much…and so I did. A lesson in reading the T&C’s carefully…my fault.
Anyhow,this is the second time I have used Amazon to get my son’s 12 month xbox live code. I purchased here again as the code was a relatively low price and it was emailed to me in a couple of minutes. Made sure I got the cash from my son first….everyone’s happy 🙂
I only gave it 4/5 stars because it took over 2 hours 30 minutes, despite it stating it “usually takes less than an hour” to send the code through to the specified e-mail and “can take up to 2 hours.” So in my case it took longer than it should have done.
Although it does seem like the best place to buy the membership from, as amazon tends to be a reliable service. Definitely cheap, but not so much prompt.
Overall its a site I will most likely be coming back to for another purchase, and I would recommend. Just be sure that it doesn’t always come instantly, in the next 10 minutes, in the next 3 hours. Its a fluctuant postage service but it does work.
Play safely online with Xbox live
Xbox live has made my nine year old son very happy and has enhanced his time playing Minecraft.
It was quite complicated to set up an account and work out all the parental controls but now it is done he can play on line with his school friends and I can control via a password who he adds to his friend list so I am confident that he is not seeing content that would not be suitable.
He can also have multi player games when his friends come round to play. There were 3 of them on Minecraft the other day all having a great time.
The only difficulty is keeping control over how long they play for and prising them off it to do other things like homework!!
After not bothering with Xbox gold membership for a few months I fancied to play call of duty black ops online again. On looking for a gold card I noticed that the cheapest one for 3 months was a online code system. I always by the card that comes in the post that takes a few days to arrive and was hesitant to try this online system.
I was asked to enter my credit card details again but on doing this was quickly sent and e-mail with the code on it for just 12.99 that’s a good deal.
I entered the code onto the Xbox 360 and was instantly back on gold membership for 3 months.
The whole thing from switching on the laptop to look for a gold card to entering the code into the Xbox 360 was less than 15 minutes and was trouble free, well done to a Amazon.

his is the first time i have brought an email-code product,and if i’m honest wasn’t so sure that it would be as easy as it sounded.i was very gladly proven wrong!just a few clicks on the the computer and BAM!i had the code to give to my son.i did not have to wait for it to be delivered on time(which a lot of post isn’t) and have to listen to the whole “has it come yet” from my son for days on end.he used the code straightaway and it worked perfectly and apparently (for now)i am a very cool mom!

I went for a game of BF4 and a big red cross comes up “Your Account is Suspended” (Their mistake not mine BTW).. Its sad I know but I did Panic.. Then a brainwave:- *Amazon* – in their wisdom did me proud by letting me INSTANTLY SEE my code, 3 months for a tiny 12.99! – which is a great price really (considering they’re 15.00 in ASDA!)
Just as Described I was doubtful at first as I had read some older reviews for codes that took hours, days etc. But not Amazon’s – – Excellent for an emergency supply of XBOX LIVE GOLD!!

Well i needed to to renew my Xbox Live on Christmas Day and i got plenty of money to do so, i originally was going to buy it on Xbox but seeing it at 40 gobsmacked me so before i went ahead i checked here and buying the card for it was cheaper at 32 and i was gonna do that, but when i was taken to this (new to me) digital game code section i found out i could buy this code for 30 and get it straight away as if it were on Xbox, so it was a no brainer for me, got it on here 10 cheaper and could use it straight away, good buy!
