ok price for extending the Yale System, used for securing some windows
No issues whatsoever, easy addition to system, simple 5 min installation, thank you.
I’m pleased this accessory was made by Yale, but the design is awful. With very little work they could have redesigned the plastic enclosures so that looked much more professional. It looks likes someone’s GCSE project. I think someone designed a keypad that you could put on a key ring, but it was thought that it was too big, and then someone else said “let’s put it in another plastic box”. This is the end result. It works but it is not pretty.
Just put your alarm into program mode and delete the old sensor from the sensor list.
Now physically replace the old sensor with the new one making sure that the anti-tamper spring is properly in place and compressed.
Next enter programming mode and add the new sensor, save and test as per your alarm manual.
It should take about 5 minutes all in.
Excellent device, this keypad works really well and allows me easy operation of the alarm from a different location to the main keypad and is a much more positive use than the key fob which struggles to work from this remote position.
Really good value for money
Product is great and works very reliably, however the replacement batteries are 2032. NOT the bigger 3032 as stated on the box.
I already have a fully functioning Yale 6400 alarm system, I just needed an extra sensor for a new outbuilding and this product fulfilled my need. Yale accessories are so easy to add and within 10 minutes this item was installed and functioning
Purchased to replace a damaged unit. Easy to pair and instal with the self adhesive backers.
Had to replace old unit due to accidental damage. The base station added this unit simply, so door was secured very quickly. A note to new users, ensure the end of the sensor with the screw head is sufficiently clear of wall/frames to enable ease of access to change the battery. And don’t drop the cover, (I did) as the anti tamper spring can launch the cover when undoing the clamp screw!
Branded product that linked to the existing security alarm system. Easy to follow instructions and was operating in minutes.
Bought this as a replacement to a door sensor that had ceased to work. Fixed the problem.
Good value and makes using your alarm easier simple to set up and use
The main panel is in my garage at the end of the garden. This unit means we can set and unset the alarm in full or partial mode from anywhere within range. Even if the case is screwed to the wall, say on an upstairs landing, the unit itself can be lifted out and put in any room. The unit is compact and easy to use. Great product.
This is a handy item and easy to use. However, its not as easy setting it up to pair with the alarm box, this is the only negative point I found
