Super easy to pair. My original had snapped at the keyring eyelet. This version seems to have been revised as it’s thicker at that point. The buttons have a nice firmer action when pressing too.

Pairing was very easy. I was all set up in no time!

Revised version so much better! ♥️

We originally purchased a new door contact point in November 2020 which when we attempted to fit it the control panel would not recognise it. After many attempts we found that although it appeared to be the same size and shape as the one bring replaced there are in fact two different types. The one we bought was for the EC-DC range and not for the HSA6010 system which we have. Therefore had to purchase the right door contact and install. Easy when you know how!!

My old door sensor broke. Changed the batteries, no good. Not working at all. Purchased a new one off Amazon. It arrived fine. Today having looked at the instructions connected it to the alarm and the door however the alarm was showing a tamper alert. The sensor worked fine but the tamper signal would not clear. I took the new one off and compared it with the old one and discovered the problem. On the tamper switch on the sensor there should b a small spring. It was missing from the new one. Thankfully I was able to get the spring carefully off the old one and fit it to the new one. I refitted the new one and bingo it works and the tamper alarm on the panel has cleared. So glad I kept the old one. Quality control where made slipped up I think. Keep an eye open for this issue. Overall It now works as it should. Great…….Be well all.

Product arrived a day earlier than expected. Was worried this wouldn’t be compatible with HSA6400 after seeing some reviews but the manual for my alarm system lists this item within its accessories list so can confirm it works.

You should use a keypad by your doors , So you can hide the main control panel unit out the way , This helps stop the unwanted who will be looking for the main control panel if the alarm starts to go off if they get into your home .

Easy to install – replacing previous which had broken. 10 would be a more reasonable price given what they are (they probably cost less than 1 to make) but Amazon were still the cheapes

Ideal addition of a second keypad which can be located anywhere. Great if you can access your house from either the front door or rear/side door as this will allow a keyboard to be located at each entry point, (I.e. if you include the main alarm panel), and thus prevents the need to trawl through the house – especially with wet muddy shoes on! – in order to turn off the alarm within a minute or so.

A good addition to your wireless alarm system. Easy to change the factory set code on the hand held pad using the supplied instructions that comes with the hand held pad. Changed mine to the same 4 digit code as the main alarm. Then just pair the hand held pad to your main alarm keypad using the pairing instructions that came with your main alarm. Took me about 5 mins and that included reading how to do it. Using mine from about 4-5 mtrs away and through a brick wall. Simple to use :- Arm the system= press arm, Disarm system= press disarm then the 4 digit code you set it to earlier from the factory setting(hence why I changed mine to the same as the main alarm to make it easier to remember). With this device you can arm and disarm the main alarm as if you was using the main alarms keypad. I personally, recommend this over the other keyFOB accessory .

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersA little sceptical after reading reviews that said the key fob didn’t have a very good range but this worked through 2 doors & walls from outside the building negating the loud countdown on entry if you’ set it hat way or if you’ve set it to sound alarm as soon as the sensor has tripped as I have it won’t sound the siren as soon as you have opened the door & it has the same arm/disarm options as the control box. Very pleased.

Due to having certain items in my house I fitted a Yale Home Security system several years ago, but the security system didn’t have the number of alarm points in it to provide all of the windows along with a couple of interior doors with one of its remote sensors. Over time I kept wanting to get hold of more sensors, but where I live is quite some way from the DIY stores where they could be bought, but on finally deciding to get more sensors I used the internet and bought some more, plus as my son in London also has a similar alarm fitted I am giving him some so he can fully protect his property when i shortly go to see him and his family.

Bought these to add to an older HSA3000 series alarm and they work fine. These are pet friendly so should not detect animals up to 25kg in weight. I change the batteries on all the sensors yearly largely so I know they’ve all been changed at the same time but they can last years in low traffic areas.

Will unlock the code once you come through the door and can set the alarm using it, but can’t undo the alarm from upstairs – which is why i bought it to disarm the alarm on overnight. I currently do this via my phone but will use a keypad to do the same job.

Working as should be. Please note that I learnt the hard way that the spring at the back should pressed flat against the wall. Otherwise you will get the tamper fault on the alarm. The reason for the spring to be flat is to avoid anyone tampering with it. So if they ripped it from the wall the alarm should sound.

Very easy to add to the existing Yale Alarm system, just be sure to make sure the surface is clean when you use the double sided tape to attach the sensor. A neat to test if you have the magnet cloise enough during the phase where you try and figure out where to put it given upvc doors and windows never line up, is to listen for a very slight click when you move the magnet away from the poistion you are testing. This is the reed switch flipping.

It took me about 10 minutes to install these on a regualr wooden doors, including connectng up to the alarm.

Already had a Yale alarm with two door contacts. Had this setup for 3+ years. And I wanted another to add to the system and placed it on the garage door. The garage is off the house, over 20 meters from where the control unit is in the house. It all works perfectly. I also like the ‘burglar’ setting which means the garage alone is protected 24h a day even when the alarm isn’t set.

This is an essential addition to the Yale wireless alarm system, you can put it anywhere near your entry point and it does the job perfectly. I bought two of these, so we didn’t have to rush out of the house after setting the alarm. I thought it would be tricky pairing them with the alarm control panel, but it was child’s play – really easy.
It’s a shame it doesn’t switch off the alarm after it’s been fired, but I suppose there’s some logic in that.

  95. Anonymous says:

     United Kingdom

This is the easy way to turn your alarm on and off, if like me you have put the control panel away from the front door. It’s small enough to keep about your person, although I never keep it in the same place as my keys. To disarm you need to open the door first, thus triggering the countdown.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersArrived next day on Prime. Fitted and learned in within 2 minutes using holes from original PIR, annoyingly 1/4″ wider apart. Would be nice if the description said the device was compatible with my old HSA3500 system. Had to google to get the answer. But on the box when it arrives it says it is ! Like me a lot of people will be trying to replace older PIRs from the 3000 series wireless alarms and possibly are not buying this as a valid replacement because it does not tell you.

  97. MilfordLeidig says:

Bought to supplement an older Yale alarm kit. Does the job and links with the alarm. However the mounting options aren’t as versatile as the older sensor, with no ability to fit external relay/magnet pairs. I had to swap the position of this sensor with that of an old version to fit a deeply recessed double-glazed door. Made the job more fiddly than expected. I’d rather have the old square and functional design than this weirdly-shaped thing!
