Bad instructions
Its a great design only thing is the instructions are very mixed and not very clear and the security features are brilliant apart from the key part looks very much like a design fault and to get the Yale case off it needs to be prized off which after a while could cause permenant damage and could also expose the whereabouts of the secret key lock

Perfect for what I wanted. It looks sturdy and difficult to break into if someone’s trying to get inside it.
Took a little while to set up, the pin was not registering but a couple attempts and was all set up.
On the instructions it says to press a red button but this is covered over and need to pull off a little cap to view the button.
.instructions could be a little easier to understand but you quickly work it out how to set up the combinations.
Came with 2 keys in which the key hole is hidden on the front. You need to pull off a plastic piece on the front to reveal it.
It comes with batteries and scews inside the safe. I have not tried to hang or bolt the safe to wall or floor but looks easy enough if needed to do that.
For the price paid I am happy with the safe , lots of room to store cash/items and looks well built and tough.

i suggest better bolts because the heads may get damaged in the process.

Yale Digital Safe
The very name YALE shouts out security. I like the LED display and the fact that there is a master code as well as keys. I only received it on Friday and as yet have not used the fixings but they do look substantial enough.
Easy to use and sensibly priced safe.
Perfect little safe for locking away my parents medication, plenty of room for 2 blister packs and much more, very useful for carers looking after 2 elderly sufferers of dementia, extremely easy to use the electronic lock and there is piece of mind knowing the manual override key is available should the batteries fail on the lock, great value for money.

This is a good safe for the money. The opening nob itself seems a bit cheap and plastic but it does the job. Pointless to have the safe if its not secured to a wall. Its got 4 holes inside and the back will sit flush against a wall ect. Im fixing mines inside a cupboard to a concrete wall using sleeve anchors so no problems with fixing. Also the movement on the door when typing the keys makes it rattle so use sticky pads on the end of the door from the 1 shop and thats solved.
Overall a good buy.

Great for the price. I wouldn’t want to keep anything worth a real fortune in this because I reckon a determined person with a crowbar could probably get into it, but as a secure place to store a few hundred pounds or precious things it’s amazing quality for the price. As good or better than other safes costing twice as much. I’ve bought several safes over the years through my job and this is one of the ones I’m happiest with.

I was already familiar with this type of safe having used them in accommodation whilst working away from home. They were not Yale but apart from that, nearly the same. These however have the added features of overriding the preset code, having a longer code number, able to use two different codes and a warning as to when the batteries will run out. Plenty of space inside and comes with everything needed to fix securely. Bought on Prime day so was a bargain. Good value at full price though as well.

This safe is easy to install as it has holes in the back and the base, therefore can be wall or floor mounted. It comes with four strong bolts and fixings. All you need is a drill and a screwdriver or socket set, as the bolts have a phillips screw head and traditional bolt head.
It is easy to operate and programme, with batteries included. The safe also has a soft felt pad to line the bottom so the contents aren’t scratched against the metal base.
This is the second one I’ve purchased. The battery life is very long on these.

It’s good value for money, It’s small and neat and fitted in where it needed to go nicely, it does feel a little flimsy in places but I’m happy with it for the price, my only gripe is the fixing bolts are not good quality and I stripped one of the cross heads without too much difficulty…use your own fixings !.. Easy to operate with good instructions

So far very good. Only draw back is the locking mechanism is deep and so you can’t actually store much a4 products in it.
j’ai utilise ce coffre pour amenager un van pour voyager au long cours, assez grand pour y mettre un notebook de 10″, un teleobjectif, 2 boitiers photo et quelques objectifs. Il faut juste ajouter de la mousse sur les parois, car avec les secousses sur le metal, le matos n’aime pas trop. Les piles ont durees environ 1 an, et apres nous avons du utiliser la cle pour ouvrir le coffre.
Les trous de montage sont situes sur face inferieure ainsi que celle au fond ( on aurait aime d’autres configurations pour mettre dans un van mais bon) Je recommande !!

i bought this product a little while back but never had the chance to open it till now u i must say this product was better than expected the safe is very heavy because of its steel material its easy to put away and can be kept and hidden anywhere . the locks are very easy to open and is a good product to secure personal values away very happy with this product.
It was securely packed in its own package with a outer cardboard package. it had bubble wrap inside the box so the product does not get damaged. The product packaged was quite large therefore the delivery man made sure i recieved my item and did not just leave it on the porch.
the product does its job efficiently and the two locks secure is excellent as u can use the codes if u do not have ur keys around for it. the safe is easily accessed as it can be hidden literally anywhere
overall i do recommend this product to anyone who has lost of expensive things which they want to hide away securely

Very good value for money product! Easy to secure on the wall with fixings provided. Of course this is not like a Bank’s safe with regards to security but good enough to keep your jewellery and other sensitive documents out of sight. Here is a tip to make the safe’s door close properly and firmly. Insert on the face of the safe where the door rests a narrow self-adhesive strip of pad.

This is fantastic, and great value for peace of mind, would recommend this to evrry household, good value and easy to intall.
This is a good solid safe that is sufficient for most household needs.
Now there are some reviews here that say the safe can be unlocked by tapping the top. This is based on YouTube videos that use safes produced by inferior manufactures. You should treat these reviews with the same reverence as you would from someone who has reviewed a film without seeing it. This safe cannot be opened so easily. There are ways to break into this safe (I have done so).
First, this safe is made from soft steel, so an Angle Grinder or similar tool will cut through it like a knife through butter.
Second is the method I used. Take a hammer and cold chisel, smash the front of the safe off and (more difficult) remove the barrel lock. Insert one’s pinkie finger and with a bit of jiggery pokery the mechanism can be freed to unlock (this is also on a more realistic YouTube video).
Both of these methods take a lot of time, make a lot of noise and require suitable access. Hardly ideal for a stealthy amateur burglar. Of course any professional thief worth their salt would just use a barrel lock pick and be done in seconds. But no safe is (eh) safe from a professional thief. If you are worried about such things then buy a much more expensive safe with a cash rating and up your insurance.
On the whole this safe is excellent for the price and I recommend it for what it is intended.

For around 50; extremely solid. I tried to drill extra securing holes in the side and burnt the end off the drill bit! It is small enough for somebody to carry, but its a reasonable deterrent.

My previous safe failed when the lock seemed to ‘tumble around’ (fortunately when the safe was open so I could get my contents). This has the same secure bolts and construction and comea with good clear instructions, excellent display, easy to operate and secure to wall and/or floor. This size is just right for A4 documents to be secured without folding – very useful.

This is a replacement safe which i was given with no trouble at all after I explained what happened to my original order which had been installed/fixed to the wall. It gave me no trouble at first, just what I was looking for, although I had quite a bit of bother installing the batteries as the battery chamber was very tight.After a few months the safe would not let me open it with my user code (error it said) I opened the battery chamber thinking if I cut the power it would reset it itself.I was taken
aback when I discovered the batteries had corroded. After some time I was able to speak to customer services at Amazon, they were just brilliant in handling the situation. A replacement safe was ordered right away,receved two days later after the old one was collected. The whole matter was handled so professionally, to date the new safe has given me no problem,just what I was looking for. Three cheers for the Amazon staff. prior to this I had ordered an Acer laptop,Panasonic Microwave,Kindle,printer ink, Andre Reiu DVD and others.I always try Amazon first for any purchases I am interested in.

Very pleased with this product. Wanted something to keep passports and other family documents secure and this fits the bill perfectly.
This safe is a good size for passports, other important documents and jewellry. It is easy to fit and once fitted is very secure. We used other more heavy-duty fixings. It is slightly more flimsy than my old safe, but seems to have more room on the interior. Whilst I don’t think it would be much of a problem to an expert burglar, it certainly would be an obstacle to the opportunist thief, so is an appropriate choice for most home applications. Obviously, you need to have good general security for doors and windows etc around your home. The keys are an advantage over my old safe.
I needed to keep some valuables in the house for a while and this worked a treat. It uses screw-in bolts either to back or base or combination of both. The heads are contained within the safe. You will need a socket set to drive the strong screw bolts home either to Joists/wall.
You use two pass numbers (choice of either). Press button, then number, then button again, turn handle and you’re in. Automatically locks on closure. Good medium safe and very good value. Extremely pleased

Very strange mistake coming from Amazon, but anyway we’ve informed them about this mistake and hopefully they will change the details soon.
As for the product, the safe looks good and feels solid enough considering this good price. It is not a professional one so don’t expect miracles but it should do the job well if you follow the instructions.
For the moment I won’t use the PROS and CONS system because I have to start using it for a while and after that I will post my results here. I had the opportunity to check this one out in store and I have to say that I was impressed with the quality of the product, but that comes with a price.
