This isn’t a particularly secure safe, but I knew that when I ordered it. For some basic security to lock stuff away it does the job, but I think it would be fairly straightforward to open it with a drill, jigsaw with metal cutting blade, and a little time/patience.

It was a breeze to set up and start using. Simply press the reset button in the battery compartment on the inside of the door, type in your personal code and confirm it and you are good to go.

Having a key-based back up is handy too, as long as you don’t lose the keys.

All in all a good budget offering providing some basic protection for your valuables. High recommended.

Make sure you have a decent set of 10mm spanners/ ratchet set to screw the bolts i

Perfect size for car keys and wallet. Ideal for keeping at your bedside to keep the keys from having the signal extended and your car stolen. Good quality box. Currently priced at 24.99 which seems maybe a little expensive for the size however when you take into consideration about the quality and use it seems worth it.

Easy to set the safe combination. Alarm setting is a good feature.

I have a similar RFID blocking box myself so I ordered this one for my parents/sister as they have multiple cars plus they have scored other bits in there too.

It arrived packaged well and securely and the box itself looks really classy. Although it says premium leather I wouldn’t say it it. It has a nice insulating lining to it and a closed via a buckle.

It’s a good size too and measures 170mm x120mm x 90mm so enough room for my parents plus my sisters key fobs and my dads mobile.

It’s a good price at 24.99 and gives my parents some reassurance.

    Happy to recommend.

The Yale brand name gives a bit of confidence that this storage box will do what it promises to in terms of signal blocking. The box is large enough to comfortably hold several keys, so is a good size for a multi-vehicle household.

The box has a textured outer with a finish that looks and feels a bit plasticky. A Yale logo is embossed on the front of the box. The black thread stitching co-ordinates and is neat and even in finish. The metal catch is painted black – a simple latch that flips up and down. The lining, at least initially, smells a bit chemically – hopefully this will dissipate over time.

The packaging this came in was a bit odd. This came boxed, but then wrapped in a plastic bag inside the box. There was no sign of desiccant, and no apparent reason for the single use plastic.

For the price you can’t expect Fort Knox – but it’s a reasonable safe for storing a few documents and unused credit cards that you don’t want to just leave lying around. The programming is easy – and the alarm doesn’t go off unless the safe is physically jiggled about. No false alarms recorded after being fitted for a month. Pre-drilled holes at the back and the base ready to mount the safe against a solid wall – easy to do – the safe is now very well fixed in a cupboard, and it won’t be coming out without at least a bit of a struggle. As long as you understand this is just a little bit of basic protection rather than a high quality security solution, then it’s worth the money.

Sturdy safe that is surprisingly light for the size. Only downside I can find is the door frame needs some foam around the inside so that when you are typing the code in door doesn’t clang against the frame.

A fairly solid small safe for the price. Easy enough to program security code and set alarm. As others have said, probably not loud enough to wake you up but maybe loud enough if thieves physically removed it send ran down road with it.
My only complaint is around physical installation. It comes with 4 expanding bolt fittings which I presumed should fit flush to wall once drilled out.
NO! If you find them flush the bolt doesn’t reach the capture nut. So you need to let the expanding sleeve stand proud of mounting surface by at least 5mm. Would have given 5* if yhis was made clear.

Got it for 33.98. Very happy. Inflation creeping up now. If you can get it for 45 or under it’s worth it.

A good quality well made home safe. Easy to fit where I wanted to. Instructions still incorrect. When setting up use enter key instead of Key key and vice versa. Alarm is quite shrill, but did not work when I moved the safe. Might work when having to get it out from where fitted though. Alarm did work when using wrong code.

Like the sturdiness for the price. Setup was OK overall, with one glitch that could be avoided with fuller guidance: It shows you need to press a tiny button under the battery compartment lid before setting the code. It does not say “Do not refit the cover until the code is set.” If it did, I would have set up the code successfully first time, instead of fourth time!

Seems solid enough. I was unable to use the supplied fixing bolts due to a particular feature in the floor I attached it to. As mentioned by others the supplied setting instructions were incorrect.

Overall this safe is good value for money. However the very poor setting up instructions are seemingly incorrect, Looking on the internet resolved the problem.

OK for price, OK for holding passport and say a couple of thousand pounds. If your planning to hold more than 10k then get a better one. Is a good everyday use safe. On delivery package it says security safe which is good advertisement for burglars. Buy it from somewhere else or from in store.

I intend to keep money in this safe for domestic use, say freinds and family or freinds of freinds come around, keep passports and maybe 5k. I don’t intend this as protection from burglars. Burglar will probably open it in few minutes.
