Good size, box looks classy but not premium leather.
I have a similar RFID blocking box myself so I ordered this one for my parents/sister as they have multiple cars plus they have scored other bits in there too.
It arrived packaged well and securely and the box itself looks really classy. Although it says premium leather I wouldn’t say it it. It has a nice insulating lining to it and a closed via a buckle.
It’s a good size too and measures 170mm x120mm x 90mm so enough room for my parents plus my sisters key fobs and my dads mobile.
It’s a good price at 24.99 and gives my parents some reassurance.

So listen, I got this item at zero cost through the Vine programme, that doesn’t mean it gets a positive review though. User reviews are important, they’re a gem of the internet age and we should use them, so here comes an honest one.

Build quality:
Decent. Sturdy box with a firm closing lid. The hinges are tight, as is the locking clasp. Everything fits. The material covering the box is well cut and without frayed edges. Genuinely nice. Someone complained it arrived in “used” condition, not so with mine. It arrived sealed in a bag, inside a box. The clasp feels firm and snaps into place nicely. The hinges feel strong enough to support the lid when open too.
In use:
This works well. Blocks everything it claims too. It also blocked mobile phone (GSM, 4G and 5G) signals. If you’re versed in antennae theory you’ll be aware this is dependent on the distance to the nearest tower, but it took my phone from a full five bars and blocked it when inside the box.
The box is reasonably large. My 6.67″ phone would only fit in diagonally though. There’s a photo with a tennis ball in there for size comparison.
Overall impressions:
Really quite good. It’s made and finished well. It looks fairly understated and it does work. The style is a matter of personal preference but I like it.
Effective RFID box
This security box from Yale is an effective RFID blocker.
It’s a large RFID box, and has room for several sets of keys, so I recommend it for larger households as you won’t need a box this big otherwise.
The catch keeps it closed, though there’s no option for it to have a lock.
It’s a PU leather exterior that looks smart in black, with fabric lining. Build quality is fine, though overall it seems a bit pricey at 24.99 at time of writing my review.

Safe as Safe
Love this safe. Really gives peace of mind. Easy to set up, install, sound is loud enough and clear (as husband forgot password)! Override with key. Great value for money. Fits more than you’d think. I have A4 documents in mine – inside a fireproof bag and this fits. At an angle but even so. We shouldn’t have to buy things like this, but money we’ll spent. After all to replace just passports would be dearer than the safe, let alone other items and irreplaceable jewellery! Highly recommend.

An affordable security measue
A fairly solid small safe for the price. Easy enough to program security code and set alarm. As others have said, probably not loud enough to wake you up but maybe loud enough if thieves physically removed it send ran down road with it.
My only complaint is around physical installation. It comes with 4 expanding bolt fittings which I presumed should fit flush to wall once drilled out.
NO! If you find them flush the bolt doesn’t reach the capture nut. So you need to let the expanding sleeve stand proud of mounting surface by at least 5mm. Would have given 5* if yhis was made clear.

Decent quality home safe
A good quality well made home safe. Easy to fit where I wanted to. Instructions still incorrect. When setting up use enter key instead of Key key and vice versa. Alarm is quite shrill, but did not work when I moved the safe. Might work when having to get it out from where fitted though. Alarm did work when using wrong code.

Like the sturdiness for the price. Setup was OK overall, with one glitch that could be avoided with fuller guidance: It shows you need to press a tiny button under the battery compartment lid before setting the code. It does not say “Do not refit the cover until the code is set.” If it did, I would have set up the code successfully first time, instead of fourth time!

Seems solid enough. I was unable to use the supplied fixing bolts due to a particular feature in the floor I attached it to. As mentioned by others the supplied setting instructions were incorrect.

Good value for the money
Overall this safe is good value for money. However the very poor setting up instructions are seemingly incorrect, Looking on the internet resolved the problem.
OK for regular domestic home use for smaller sums of money.
OK for price, OK for holding passport and say a couple of thousand pounds. If your planning to hold more than 10k then get a better one. Is a good everyday use safe. On delivery package it says security safe which is good advertisement for burglars. Buy it from somewhere else or from in store.
I intend to keep money in this safe for domestic use, say freinds and family or freinds of freinds come around, keep passports and maybe 5k. I don’t intend this as protection from burglars. Burglar will probably open it in few minutes.

Ideal low budget safe
I wanted a safe for my van so I can do paperwork on the go or at site, depending on where we are I occasionally have to leave the back van doors open/unlocked and I can relax more knowing my laptop and tablet are secure in this safe.
Beggars belief that a Company like Yale can’t issue the correct user instructions. After several failed attempts to set up the safe resulting in the alarm going off and it refusing to open, I was about to send it back to Amazon. I had a quick look at the feedback and found ‘error in instructions’.
When you set up your code, you press the key code NOT enter and when you want to open it you put in your code followed by enter NOT the key symbol. The feedback I read was from Sep 20, unbelievable that Yale have not corrected this.

The main problem was tht we were told delivery would be 19th (ordered on 9th) went to check and found the delivery said they had been on 13th, NO we were in all day. it took a lot of time and phone calls to get the delivery, the safe is fine but NOT the delivery company
Easy to use, perfect home safe
Easy to setup, can be bolted to the wall from the inside. Easy to operate and although I’m sure you could break it open with a hammer it serves its purpose as a home safe perfectly.

Solidly built and compact, yet big enough for a household’s needs. Very easy to mount on the wall. one small issue — the batteries supplied, and needed for the electronic lock, were dead! Put new ones in and it works a treat.

After spending best part of a month looking for a safe I settled for this. Read all The reviews on each safe then when i had made my mind up bam I found all the negative comments about them and ended up back at square one. Well this safe is great, it’s not too heavy seems pretty sturdy was easy as to set up. Took about 5 Mins to set the code. Mine is bolted to a solid wall. I didn’t use the bolts supplied but my own 120mm concrete screws I had in the van.
The alarm works really well slightest knock and it goes off, although the alarm isn’t the loudest and probs would wake me up. I went for the large one which has the shelf in which is handy. Have added a soft padding to protect my valuables.
This safe does exactly what it says.

Very sturdy and heavy for the price. Not sure whether it could be opened once the keypad was ripped off though. But it is not meant for storing high valuables at that price anyway. Very pleased with it for what I want it for.

Llevo un tiempo con ella y en principio no he tenido ningn problema. Se trata de una caja fuerte de calidad normalita, pero cumple perfectamente su funcin, para mete documentacin como mucho tamao folio,tambin para meter joyas, o objetos de valor o armas. Viene con un juego de dos llaves de seguridad por si se te olvida la contrasea o se le terminar las pilas, aunque segn tengo entendido duran bastante y avisa con pitido cuando empiezan a agotarse. Pesa bastante aunque se puede manejar para desplazarla de sitio, o si lo deseas anclarla con unos tornillos y tacos metalicos que trae la propia caja dentro y se atornillan fuertemente. La llave de seguridad se mete tras sacar un embellecedor que trae en la puerta y que sale haciendo palanca con un destornillador pequeo y deja el orificio redondo para introducirla. Por lo dems hay que pulsar un botn en la parte de dentro de la puerta tras poner las pilas tipo AA de 1.5 v y luego marcas en un cuadro de nmeros de la parte exterior la clave de 6 nmeros que eliges y pulsas intro. Para abrir, una vez cerrada se pulsa la clave e intro, da un aviso sonoro, salta una luz verde y se gira la manilla y abre, para cerrar con girar palanca ya queda cerrada. Las calidades no son malas y da la sensacin y dicen que aguanta incendios, pero no obstante para mallor seguridad he comprado unos sobre ignfugos para meter documentos y los meto dentro de la caja. No es un armatoste pero para el da a da es suficiente, los materiales y el acabado me han convencido, por el precio que tiene.

We bought this safe for storing important paperwork. It arrived in good order with instructions and keys in a bag taped to the outside of the safe inside the box. I fitted the batteries and tried to set the code following the supplied instructions, I made several attempts all ending in the alarm activating and having to use the keys to access the reset button to reset the the code. I then tried re-entering our chosen code but instead of pushing the “ENTER” key as per the instructions I opted to press the “KEY SYMBOL” button which worked and stored my code as it should. I shut the door, locked it with the locking lever. To unlock and open the safe I re-entered my code and the pressed the “ENTER” button instead of the “KEY SYMBOL” button and turned the door lever and “Hey Presto” the door opened as it should without the alarm sounding or using the keys.

I’ve got a safe lock same this safe lock for putting my valuables and kept it safe.
I was a bit disappointed when I received the safe as I was expecting a better build quality from Yale for the money – hence why I bought this brand. Someone else had mentioned the build quality in a review and I tend to agree now.
However, I am able to use the safe for the purpose of buying one and that is to store important A4 documents within.
Worth the Money
I do like this safe, well worth the money, setting the key pad up was easy and the fact that you have a precautionary key if the batteries run out to open it makes it even better. Plus you can screw it in at the base as well as the back.
I checked out a few different manufacturers but I’ve always trusted Yale and that’s why I went for this.

Buen producto, con la calidad acorde con el precio
El producto cumple con lo que especifica. No viene rematada perfecta, incluso en mi caso, vena con la pintura saltada en una de las esquinas. Pero en fcil de usar e instalar y cumple con su funcin.

Lighter than I expected but seems sturdy enough. Just like the type of safes you get in a hotel. Does the job. I agree with other reviews though, plain packaging please, there’s no need to advertise to the world that you’ve just bought a safe. Especially now we have contactless delivery and boxes are left on the doorstep for the neighbours to see.

Great product but user instructions to set the combination are very poor. YouTube will bail you out though. This is why I haven’t given 5 stars.

Fixings are made of f**$$^g chocolate apparently.
After listening to my husband ranting expletives from the cupboard under the stairs for an hour whilst trying to install this safe I can only conclude that the screws are not man enough for the job. Once fitted with replacement screws it is a very good piece of kit.
