I am in the process of upgrading my Wi-Fi cameras to POE. I needed something that would allow me to mix and match non-POE with POE cameras. J’ai dj 2 switch PoE 8 ports (au dessus et dessous celui-ci dans ma photo) pour 16 circuits qui arrive dans les panneaux de brasage (les blancs en photo), mais je voulais celui-ci pour sa fonctionne VLAN pour isoler les IoT du rseau principale et a marche trs bien (mode extended).
N.B. mes 2 autres switch ont t branch sur le uplink du box (4 portes) comme celui-ci qui a rendu tous les autres circuits “ouverts” aux 8 isols par mode extended. Pour rsoudre ceci, j’ai du brancher un de mes switch Digitus dans l’autre Digitus (eg Port 8 dans Port 8 dans ma photo #2), puis port 1 de n’importe Digitus branch dans porte 1 du YuanLey (mais ceci peut tre n’importe n’importe). Comme a, tous ce qui est branch aux deux Digitus sont dans leur LAN ensemble et visible chacun (mon rseau “Maison”). Tout le reste est isol avec tous ie IoT (cameras etc) et rseau “appartement” (AirBnB) sont tous spars entre eux et avec le rseau principale.
C’est un peu compliqu, mais c’est exactement ce que je cherchais pour avoir un rseau “maison” avec des rseaux “le reste” qui sont isol compltement entre eux et avec le rseau principale

Cons: only a few ports, but that is what are buying.
I have a PoE cctv camera and a NAD and a few other bits and pieces hanging off this. When you switch it on and connect the Ethernet cables it connects straightaway and I can see the camera image and recordings via the NAS and there is no interference with the rest of the home network. Excellent product.

Outstanding hub for running POE cameras
Bought this to run 5x external & 3x internal Hikvision POE cameras, including two with floodlights and one PTZ. We also have two Ubiquity Access Points on the first & second floors.
I wanted the switch up on the third floor, but the NVR in my study on the ground floor.
Install was a breeze; literally plug’n’play, and the fanless unit sits silently, doing it’s thing.
We ran Cat6 throughout the property when we renovated, connecting each room to a central cabinet in my study, plus shielded/weatherproof Cat6 to the locations we wanted external cameras. Our longest run between Camera & Switch is approximately 85m and from Switch back to Router/NVR is roughly 70m – there’s been absolutely zero degradation in signal quality and all 9 cameras run at full resolution, the floodlight cameras light up exactly as they should and other than a minimal lag to access the PTZ camera, plus one or two Access Point reboots (which I put down to Virgin, rather than any fault in the POE switch), we’ve had very little to worry about.
More than happy to recommend.

Das war bis jetzt immer ein Problem. Ich wollte auch nicht hunderte Euro ausgeben. Ja er tut ganz leise ich sage mal fietschen aber das Rattern der Festplatten im NVR ist lauter.
Zum Stromverbrauch kann ich nichts sagen .

I purchased this switch for use with an NVR and two exterior IP cameras. It is very sturdy and the supplied L brackets and screws make it easy to mount on the wall. It provides stable power to the IP cameras and I like that it has an internal power supply / IEC power cable instead of a wall wart. No issues after a few weeks and I am pleased with the purchase.

Easy to set up, performs well with 2 Wifi 6 access points connected to it. It isn't exactly "rack" mountable contrary to the item description and having rackmount ears. But for the price, it is a minor inconvenience.

Good switch to consider if you want an SFP po
I chose this switch as it seemed to offer good value for a device that also had an SFP port which enabled me to use a fibre optic link. I did make the mistake of choosing the wrong type of SFP transponder initially – make sure it’s 1 GB/s not 10! Now everything has been working well for a month or so. Hopefully it will stay this way.

Very minimal loss of data packets and holds its own. This unit replaced units that were over 12 years old and I hope to gain the same life expectancy. Working well
I have had this YuanLey 8-port PoE switch installed for about 3 weeks now. It is connected to four Hikvision 8mp (4k) IP cameras, a Zyxel wifi (PoE powered) access point and a Netgear 105PE (PoE powered) switch connected about 75m distant. Since installation this YuanLey switch has worked perfectly. The case is of all metal construction with wall mounting cut-outs. Mine is mounted vertically on a wall. It has an IEC socket (kettle lead) on back for mains power (so much better than an external wall wart).
Importantly, there is no partitioning of network traffic to an uplink port (unlike some PoE switched do). All ports are equal.
The one thing I don’t like is that the port status lights (which show the current port speed) are below the RJ45 connector so in my configuration with the switch mounted vertically on a wall, the port lights are difficult to see unless the cables are lifted out of the way – see one of my pics. But this is a very minor annoyance.
A very good product at a reasonable price. Pleased with my purchase and would definitely buy again!

I got this to replace that because it eliminates both the injector and the AP, which I could use someplace if needed, and it has a bunch more ports for hooking up other cameras. It was extremely easy to set up, and it has worked without issue, thus far supplying both internet access and power to a couple of cameras. It’s not particularly bulky, and it has a bunch of ports, so this is a great addition to my networking set-up. Even if it didn’t have PoE injection built-in, it’d still be a great unit given the number of available ports.

We use this in a recording studio often with live microphones in use so the switch had to be totally silent. This one is fanless and you definitely don't hear any noise coming from it at all. Very nice and does the job quite well.

Great customer service!
Had a small issue with an electrical whine, otherwise the switch works exactly as described powering two Ruckus AP’s around my house and a number of other units.
I contacted Yuanley Support about the noise and they promptly offered to refund me for a replacement unit. Would recommend!

True plug and play
I was just beginning to transition as much of my home/home office to wired from entirely WiFi when I received this switch about a month ago. Knowing nothing more than that my friend strongly recommended I get wired and that I would likely need an ethernet switch to accomplish this, I plugged this in and started running cable to and from it. Thankfully, this thing is so user friendly that that is truly all it took to get going without issue: plugging it in and being aware of which ports were the uplinks. Now that I understand just a little more about what is going on, it’s really pretty amazing that this little box of wonder is able to pass as much data as it does, at the speeds that it does, without getting congested.
Amazingly, I might actually outgrow this switch in the very near future, but I’ve just been informed that it will be possible to effectively daisy chain this switch with another to further expand my growing network, which I’m pretty pleased about.
I did not end up needing to plug any PoE devices into this unit, so I can’t speak to its power stability, but, for data, this switch has got to be pretty hard to beat from an overall functionality to price perspective.
It has worked flawlessly for me since day one, and I have virtually no clue what I’m doing. To me, that speaks volumes.
Not only this is very good product but also the customer service is fantastic and solve the problem promptly by sending me a new device after 4 month.

Excellent 8 Port PoE Switch
I am using this switch to connect two access points using PoE. The switch powered up quickly and I was able to connect the AP’s to the switch and get everything running super fast. There is no fan in this switch which makes it super quiet.
I am very impressed with the build quality and the functionality.
This is a high quality POE switch. Has all the features and ports you'll need, doesn't seem to heat up much, and a good size for the number of ports. We are using it to extend our security cams, running one wire to a location of 4 POE cameras. Works great.

For a simple switch this things works great. i appreciate the powered ports for cameras and what not but i have not needed to use those. i more or less used this to add more connections to my home network and it works for this fantastic. it is alot more tech than i need but wanted to make sure it could grow with my network as it did. in short it is well worth the price and expect many years of use from it. doesnt slow connection speed at all as if plugged right into modem, allows more hard wired connections without the need to use wifi at a slower rate. glad to have i

Wonderful and simple device
I have been working on a project lately to get POE Cameras hooked up in my house, and I found this YuanLey device to be just what I needed to do this on the cheap.
It supports third party SFP modules for any fiber conversion you may need to do, and it also easily powers several devices while also supporting native VLAN tagging. The great part about it is you don’t have to worry about it much, because if anything happens to it it’s inexpensive enough to simply replace.

I’ve been gradually upgrading my home wired Ethernet Network and my old and out of date plain 8 RJ45 Port Switch with a wall wart wasn’t sufficient any more. This Ethernet switch has an internal power supply so no more wall wart which is nice. It also has Power Over Ethernet (POE) to provide power to my security wired cameras/devices with up to 30 Watts per Ports 1-8 with 1Gbps data speed per port. I can run 2 cables from my modem router to this switch on the Uplink Ports that can handle 2 Gbps each – sweet! It might not be fiber, but is faster than what I had at a great price. Picture 1 what I received which includes mounting brackets and screws; Picture 2 in use.
I plugged everything in, reset my modem, and everything works as it should. This gives me more speed, more ports, POE, no wall wart and is more modern. Plus it is less than I paid years ago for my original smaller and limited switch. Excellent! I have had no connection problems and am getting reliable data throughput using this switch.

This switch works very well and we are pleased with it. So far, it's doing the job and it seems to be doing it better than the old unit. It is labeled as being the same, as to speed, but it seems a little faster, so we attribute that to it being new. It is a good switch and does exactly what it claims to do. Good luck in your search.

This product seemed to work fine initially, but right after the 90 day warranty period was over, the connected PoE cameras would go offline, and the only way to resolve it was to power down this switch and plug it back in. This is pretty inconvenient seeing as the switches are locked inside our low-voltage panel. My only option given to return this was to pay a 20% restocking fee, even though the product is obviously defective. Not very pleased with this product and will be using a different brand in the future.

To evaluate the YuanLey 11 Port Gigabit PoE Switch, I installed it into my camera test station to connect 4 different POE 4K cameras. Read on for my impressions.
The Good:
— The YuanLey 11 Port Gigabit PoE Switch is a strongly built metal chassis with no fan so no noise at all.
Power is provided by a 115VAC cable with a standard 3 prong plug.
— Totally plug and play, no user interface is required other than plug in the cables.
— It’s provided with ear mounts (which I really appreciate) for a rack or wall mount hanging recesses on its bottom.
— The status lights and the cables are on the same side or the lights are next to the cable plug.
— When powered up, all status lights turn on as an indication of a successful self-test.
— When an Ethernet cable is attached, and there is an Ethernet connection negotiated, the status lights blink green for network activity.
— I connected a POE camera needing 10W and also with a 1Gb interface. The camera powered up and operated perfectly over the network both to a PC and over an ONVIF Network Video recorder.
— I also attached non-POE devices, including a laptop and all interfaces worked perfectly.
— The connection from the YuanLey to another Dlink switch verified by the DLink activity light that the connection was at Gigabit. The Dlink shows a green light when 1Gb and yellow when 100Mb was green showing the switch was running at 1Gb.
— I also inserted the YuanLey in front of my by Nvidia Shield streaming device and videos looked great so data was moving at fast speeds.
— Excellent price: A survey of switches finds the cost for the Yuanley to be a great value, priced where most 5 port Gigabit switches are.
The Bad:
— There is no status light color distinction between 1G or 100M, it’s always green.
— This is a major annoyance, the activity lights are below the cable so one cannot view the status lights without crouching or stooping to get a view below the cables.
— There are no indicators for each port to show that power is being provided over POE. That’s a handy feature to aid troubleshooting.

With 2 uplinks, 8 gigabit PoE ports (2 of which are prioritized ports), and a port isolation feature, this switch works wonders. The switch itself is a brick; its fanless design makes it silent, but it certainly will not go unnoticed unless ferreted away. The switch stays relatively warm to the touch during use, which may be due to its built-in power supply, but the metal housing dissipates excess heat well as long as it isn’t shoved behind a cupboard. Very much plug and play... I have yet to have an issue.

This is a great addition to IP security camera setup. Being able to both power the camera and receive the video feed over the same wire is amazing. The ports auto sense when it needs to apply power for the device connected. All the ports are Gigabit rated.

Arrivato in tempi velocissimi, tutto come da descrizione, lo switch sembra molto robusto, ho collegato due access point POE e funzionano perfettamente.

This is my second purchase of this POE Switch, and from the same seller. Have them running in Garage and pool shed so they are solid performers in various temperatures. Will buy again!

Great quality and value for money
Really nice build quality, compared to other brands this using is definitely value for money as I think most other brands over price their models. Unit works as expected had no problems since install.
