Very simple, yet effective solar lights which add a focal point to any part of the garden. DO make sure that the little solar bit is very open to the light though….don’t let it get hidden under foliage!
With a good amount of daylight these light up at dusk to give a lovely atmosphere and light in the garden.
Good quality, well presented, great value, and recommended.

A few years ago you would have paid 5 times the cost for this high spec, high performance set of Wireless Solar Motion Security Sensor Lights. Indeed the way prices are going up I would buy mine now rather than later.

    Back to the review.

They are waterproof, just what you need in our weather.
Easy to set up. All you need to ensure is that the solar panel is in the optimal position to get a full charge.

They are adaptable to you needs.

    You have three options.
Now don’t ignore the value of this feature.
You need to set the device for the best operations.
For example you may not need the highest setting a full power on a a wide setting.
This may annoy the neighbours and drain the charge.
    Same for high traffic areas.
You also get the option for the lights to come on at darkness.

Take care when setting up the motion detectors and you have a very effective and cheap to run lighting system.

    Recommended.

Affordable and very bright outdoor solar light with some great features however I have some concern about the built quality. The housing of this of this light is made from plastic and doesn’t look durable, I feel like this will not last long. I guess the time will tell. Apart from this fear, the light is pretty good and very well priced. I’ve got this mounted on the side of my shed for a month now and never had any issues with it so far. Mounting was easy and very straight forward all I needed is a screwdriver as everything else (screws and wal-plugs) has been provided in the box. Thanks to the solar panel the light is charged up every day during daytime, which gives enough power to keep the light running for all night. It is featured with motion sensor so if you don’t want this to be turned on from sunset to next morning’s sunrise, just set this to motion sensor mode and will only torn on the light when somebody or something passes next to it. This setting is more energy efficient, and the battery will last longer as well. I think most of the outdoor flood light knows all this features however the real selling point here is the fact that this has 3 set of led light separate to each other and it can be tilt and pan to a preferred angle. Comes with a remote control, it can be useful for choosing one of the 3 available modes
    1. Sensor mode when the light is only turns on when detects a movement around, otherwise it’s turned off
    2. Dim mode, when the light bright up fully when detects a movement around, otherwise it’s remained on but just dimly bright
    3. On mode, when the light is constantly on while it’s dark outside (from sunset to next morning’s sunrise)
Overall, I’m happy with it, if this will last a couple of years at least, I will definitely buy it again.

This is an amazing outdoor light. It is great because you don’t have to plug it in anywhere. You can easily mount it everywhere you might need it…and it being solar powered you don’t need to worry about tracing cables to power the light. It is very very bright. The motions sensors works amazingly. The light wont stay on constantly…so this is good because it saves the power for when you actually need it….just in case the weather is not on your side to charge the light. It is very sturdy…the material of which is made is very qualitative. I really really like it…i truly think it is worth every single penny. Great value for money. I would gladly recommend this to anyone…great quality and very sturdy product.

    Really nice!

Very nice solar powered security light, the motion sensor works without any issues and the lights are bright enough on an evening that when they do come on they would deter any potential intruder trying to get into your property.

I ordered this light for the bottom of my garden as very dark at night.

Well packaged inside small cardboard box.

Lights look great straight out of box, turn on and cover solar panel and be dazzle with bright lights.

Very flexible as can tilt outer lights as well as position to what angle you want lighting to cover.

Easy install, just 2 screws through fitment bracket.

Provides instant lighting and has open up the back of my garden to me during the night.

Overall, exceptional good quality and value motion sensor solar powered lights.

    I would recommend this product.

A very nice looking solar light.
The 3 heads can be moved well.
All 3 heads let off tons of lighting, illuminating most of the side of my house.
The solar charging works well, I ensured I installed this in a sunny location during the day.
The one downfall with this was the installation. I noticed the bracket is a little too flimsy for my liking, so I had to be delicate whilst mounting this to the wall. Once on, I don’t see it being an issue after.
    Recommend.

This outdoor solar light looks and feels well made from a decent quality plastic, sturdy and durable.
It arrived with user guide and mounting kit.

I like its design with 112 LEDs, generous size of solar panel (exactly as per listing description), motion sensor and three light panels which can cover 270 wide angle.
This lamp has also 3 lighting modes to choose from.

It was easy and fast to mount it.
We fixed it to the wooden fence, but it can be also mounted on the brick wall. It stays in place nicely and stable.
Light panels can be directed in the place light is needed.

Lamp charges well during sunny days and is automatically ON at dusk. It stays on until early morning – about 3/4am when well charged. It charges also during bright not sunny days, but it isn’t very efficient and lamp stays ON for shorter time.
It depends on the choosen lighting mode how long it stays ON.

Light is nice and bright on a full power.

    Motion sensor works surprisingly well.

Yes, it could be improved, it could come with remote control, it could have additional USB charging port etc., but I won’t take stars down for it as the lamp is exactly as described, so has all the features listed in the advert.

It is a decent lamp which is very reasonably priced, especially now with 50% off voucher taking price down to 11.50, so I would happily recommend it.
We have it installed for about 2 weeks now and it works perfectly well.

As far as solar powered outdoor security lights go I must admit that I am rather impressed with this one. For just under 23 it’s excellent value when you consider that there are 112 LEDs spread over its three ‘heads’, and that it has a built in 18650 3.7v 2400mAh battery (these are often employed in high quality powerful torches), and the design means that you can spread the illumination over a very large, or focused, area.

Just two screws (provided) are needed to fix the supporting bracket to the wall, then you carefully align two lugs on the LED lamp and slide it into position. When in position on the wall the solar panel is angled upwards to catch maximum sunlight. The bracket is made of plastic and, whereas it doesn’t inspire a huge amount of confidence, it does do the job but I wonder how the plastic will stand up to a year or two exposed to the rigours of the UK climate. Time will tell. If the bracket had been made of metal alloy I would be much more confident it would last for a long long time.

When you have mounted the LED lamp onto the bracket you can angle the three LED panels pretty much however you want them. This is very useful to focus the maximum illumination exactly where you want it, or just spread the two outer LED panels as wide as you can to get the broadest throw of light. The product description mentions “4 Heads 270 Wide Angle” but there are only three heads that I can see (a centre one and two side ones)! – I presume that’s a typo in the product description, or they are including the solar panel?

Everything on the LED lamp looks as though it should stand up to wet weather without any issues, and the general IP65 rating seems fairly assured.

There are three modes of operation, all controlled by a soft rubber button under the centre of the body. The first press makes the light come on at full power (after dusk) if movement is detected, staying on for about 20 seconds before going off completely. The second press does the same but after movement and 20 seconds has elapsed the lamp will stay on at a ‘dim’ level. The third press of the button puts the lamp into ‘auto-on at dusk’ mode… but it’s only at a very dim level. I think that most people would probably use the first/single press mode as it’s going to be the most economical setting, conserving more of the stored battery power. It’s the first mode that I will definitely be using.

I like this lamp. It’s one of the better solar powered security lighting devices I have tried. The three LED panels are impressive and functionally useful. The lamp would have been given 5 Stars if the wall bracket was a bit more substantial (metal alloy being the ideal material), and it would also have been very nice if there was a way to ‘top up’ the USB charging, especially for the winter months when sun levels are low, and the cold temperature is also the ‘enemy’ of batteries. If a USB port had been built in then the lamp’s battery could be fully charged occasionally, assuring the security lamp always had plenty of power.

Love the triple angle head assembly. Wall bracket is not the strongest. Good value.

    So I do recommend.

This was just what we needed when it popped up to trial. An unusual bracket (included) is all that is needed to screw to the wall and slot it on. The lights can be angled easily for a really good bit of well lit coverage/area. Obviously, NO WIRING NEEDED so bonus out the box. It is sensitive enough to detect motion, pop on for a few seconds and then goes off again when no movement is detected. People, cats and moving plants in a breeze have all had it lighting up for a brief moment. Pretty pleased with this overall so glad we trialled it.

You receive an LED outdoor lights which has the middle and the two side lights, great looking design, very easy to fit, you can spike it in the lawn or fix it to a wall.

The quality seems good, it’s plastic, however they do have a feel of quality

Easy to install, no cables required, completely solar powered, and charged up perfectly.

Motion sensor, only comes on when it detect movement at night.

The high seating is very bright for solar powered lights, illuminate the back where I keep our garden furniture etc

Well made, great design, easy to install and very bright, what more could I want.

We are using this solar lamp on one of our outbuildings and are very pleased with its performance as a convenient lamp and security light.

The lamp worked straight from the box although we left it in direct sunlight to charge for a day before fitting it, which took just a few minutes to drill two small holes in a timber beam. The lamp then clips onto the supplied bracket with the solar panel to the top beneath which the main central lamp with the PIR unit plus the two side lamps can each be adjusted and angled independently to suit the user. We experimented with several positions, settling with the PIR focused on a distance about 15′ ahead to illuminate the garden when approaching the outbuilding – which serves to provide a convenient lamp for our use but will also illuminate any unwelcome intruders. We then angled the two side lamps separately with one pointing downwards towards the door lock and the other side lamp angled to the side to provide full illumination almost 180C in front of the building.

    The lamp has three settings:

1: No light unless PIR triggered and then illuminates in bright mode
2: Dim light until PIR triggered and then switches to bright mode
3: Always on in dim mode without active PIR

We use the lamp in mode 1 so the garden remains in complete darkness until light it needed or an intruder detected. It works perfectly giving good, bright illumination and we would happily order again and recommend this light.

Excellent solar pir lamp for convenience or security

Solar power in the UK isn’t as good as hot countries like Cyprus, I personally think everything should have alternative way of charging them such as AC or usb because the lack of sun in some countries can limit the charge some days. I doubt its getting a full charge each day for me because its been rainy and cloudy, would work better in the Summer though.

The good news is if not used a lot it will eventually top up. Lights are quite powerful considering the size motion detection is good but comes on at night only, or if you turn off the lights, cover the solar panel with your hand and you can fake night time and it will light up.

I guess the only thing I found wrong with it is, it keeps turning on if it gets dark for instance in this scenario I used it in doors but near a window where sun light shines in, for me it was the bathroom, there is light through the window it won’t turn on at night if it detects no motion but if you turn on the light go in the room no lights, now you leave the room and turn off the light, the Solar device will always turn on for a few seconds then turn off even if there is no motion.

This could be bad to waste power but its not a lot of power it turns off after I think 5-10 seconds of inactivitry if it keeps detecting motion it stays on. Not bad overall I like it and can recommend it even if its indoors near the window where sun enters a lot. More useful outdoors but I personally used it currently in the bathroom. It’s nice to have some light inside without wasting electricity.

Quite Powerful lights only charges with solar power.

    Very happy with this light.
Suoer easy to assembly it and its works excellent.
Very bright light and super motion detection. Can even detect my small 20cm dog.
Price is also good for such light.
    Will definetly buy another one.

    Very satisfied

    Solar Security Light

This is a motion censored outdoor solar light with 112 LED lights that are set into three light panels, and three lighting modes that have varying shades of light and timings. The separate light panels are a great feature as you can direct the light into different directions and get good coverage.
It has a illumination range of 25 ft and a great 270 degree rotation.
A bonus is this solar light has a remote control!
The unit is made well, sturdy and waterproof. It’s easy to fit with supplied screws. My only issue was the mount, it’s not the best design and limits flexibility in terms of where you can place it to get the best result from the solar panel. If you have direct sunlight overhead, this should not be an issue.
The illumination is bright enough to deter trespassers.
Overall, I’m pleased with this product as it works very well.

These gave me a shock as they turned on as soon as I opened the box! I presume they had been left on when packed.

These are nice and bright. I love the movable side lights because this lets you adjust more better what gets illuminated and what doesn’t. I don’t like lighting up things that don’t need it as it just increases light pollution. You can, however, only light *more* with this, not less. So if you have a nice wide area to illuminate you can bend the side lights around to shine a wider beam.

The mounting bracket, however, is rather unusual. It’s a piece of plastic that you screw to the wall and the lighting unit then has two lugs that slide/drop down into two small slots on this bracket. There is a hole in the bracket that looks like it is for mounting on a pole (of exactly the right diameter, if you have one!), although this is not explained in the leaflet. This position also points the solar panel very high in the sky, which might not be best if you have wide eaves above your mounting location.

I do love these newer solar security lights. The solar power collected by a relatively small solar panel is usually not enough for a bright light to stay on, but for brief illumination when a sensor is triggered they can often work well even after many days of grey skies or locations where the panel only points to the sky but not the sun (such as on a North-facing wall).

If the mount fails on me then I’ll try to remember to come back and update this review — the mount is really the only thing that lets this light down.

Nice and bright; solar means no wiring; good light spread from movable lights; mount poo

This is a good solar panel in itself. The lights are bright and the PIR responsive in my tests. You can move the side lights around a fair amount to suit your needs.

The bulbs seem to be a newer type of LED. I couldn’t find anything in the description on Amazon to confirm what type they are.

My main issue is with the mount. This is directly on the solar panel, meaning that it has to stay at the same angle, irrespective of the best position for the sun. It also means that the main light won’t move up any more than offering a 45 degree tilt down. This is OK if you’re mounting higher, but may li.it its output direction if on a fence or lower mount height. It’s also quite a flimsy mount and requires a dead flat surface. There does appear to me a pole .ount on the bottom of it, but no explanation of this is in the booklet.

For what it does, this is good, but just be conscious of the mount issues.

Good light, but mount limits angle

An impressive beam on this light makes it a good option for back gardens or over a garage. The motion sensor triggers the three panel lights and there are various settings to optimise how it works. Easy to fit – comes supplied with two screws, rawlplugs and a base unit, so the lights can be detached from the fitting.
Doesn’t seem to need too much charging on the solar panel before it works.
