This skateboard looks really good. It is the perfect size for adults and teenagers, is well made, feels very durable, and the 52mm PU wheels work beautifully. My niece was trying to learn to skateboard with a low quality skateboard and was getting frustrated. This is so much easier to learn with, and she loves the design. The shape is great for learning and performing tricks, and the grip tape grips well. It is definitely worth paying a little extra for a good quality board like this. I would recommend.
Really good quality
I received this skateboard and I was surprised at the quality. The board is solid and the grip tape is flawless. The trucks are sturdy and the wheels are a good quality.
The trucks are easily adjustable for those who want them to be more responsive. I’ve not overly tinkered with it as its 20 years since I’ve been on one.
Design is really funky and isn’t some cheap drawing chucked on, clearly someone has commissioned a talented artist.

Affordable skateboard with cool looking designs to choose from.
What is most important to me is that bearings and wheels themselves are spinning perfectly and almost have no friction. This is a good indication of high-quality parts used. Good quality parts allow you to ride this skateboard with absolute enjoyment and reliability it will last no matter what. Good speeds can be reached as well.
Complete skateboard is lightweight and easy to carry around and even better while riding it.
Whole set includes required tools for maintenance or part replacement and carry case for protection purpose if needed.
Excellent board
This skateboard is very well made with a very solid sturdy base without being too heavy. It has smooth moving and very secure wheels and comes with a tool for adjustment. It is stylish without being garish and all round great quality.

Awesome skateboard
I’m not professional skateboarder, but my son has got one skateboard different brand.
Now we can both play in the skateparks.
The Skateboard is pretty heavy, heavier them my sons board, but same time is more robust and can handle more weight.
Lovely patter underneath as well as on the top. Good grip.
Included a key to replace the wheels when needed.
Very nice skateboard overall.
My tween nephew is a keen skateboarder and gives this board a big thumbs up.
Great build quality with good manoeuvrability.
Comes shrink wrapped, complete with tool and protective bag.
The graphics are stylish, showing off the smooth Canadian maple wood.
This is bigger than my nephews standard skateboard, recommended age says 5plus but I think my 6 year old would struggle with the size and weight so would personally recommend for older kids / adults. The tool provided adjusts the truck bolts which can be tightened for stability for beginners.

Looks to be a pretty cool, funky, and all round skateboard for everyone.
But…
Is it any good?
Is it good value?
Will it make me say “Rad!”, and “Dude”, a lot?
The answers… I am sure… lie ahead of us… So let’s take a closer look… …
It arrives in a slightly dusty, grubby, and well battered, thick plastic bag.
It makes a pretty poor first impression.
Out of the bag, and the build quality is apparent.
It is brilliant.
It is chunky, solid, and clearly put together by folk who know what they are doing.
It is made of solid Canadian maple, which is a nice, solid, and sturdy wood, which gives it a good base.
The hardware, or wheels, to you and I, are impressive and chunky, and will give a smooth, uninterrupted ride.
The wheels, 52 mm PU, with precision ABEC-9 bearings, are on aluminium trucks, which are all perfectly finished to the highest standard. SHR 95A conventional bushings are part of the high spec equipment on board.
It measures 31 X 8 “, and has a maximum load capacity, of 198 lbs.
It has a multifunction tool, attached to the base, to allow tinkering, and setup changes.
A nice touch.
The board has some subtle, licking flames, in monochrome relief, etched onto its full length non-slip black grip tape, top of the board.
The bottom has a stylised, surreal design, with an all seeing eye, atop a pyramid.
Like the design on dollars used in the USA.
It looks cool, if a little scary.
The board would be suitable for all levels of users, from my own incompetent rating, right up to doing cool tricks, and little flips, here and there, advanced users.
At 55.99, this board is not cheap, and does not really offer good value,
It does offer a solid, starter quality board though, and a board that will grow with you, as your skills progress, the board will keep up with your advances, as it is more than capable of doing all the tricks, flips, and jumps.
So it could be said, that this makes it pretty good value.
I really like this skateboard, and I am happy to highly recommend it.

A nice (and big) step-up from beginner’s board. Highly recommended.
This skateboard is perfectly designed for a beginner or someone returning to skateboarding after some time off.
First of all, this skateboard ticks all the boxes for what you would look for in a ‘good’ quality skateboard. it has a wooden deck, metal trucks, and Polyurethane wheels. It’s also around the size you’d look for in an adult skateboard at 8inches wide and 31inches long. This sizing is important as it makes tricks such as kickflips and ollies possible – any bigger and the weight and footprint of the board makes this increasingly difficult.
Beyond fulfilling the basics, this skateboard delivers in a number of areas you’d probably not expect a ‘budget’ board to check off. The first is that it has good bearings that allow the wheels to spin for quite sometime when you’re riding it, the next is that the grip tape is incredibly grippy, the wheels themselves are very durable, the trucks are strong and will take accidental impact, and the board is a great balance between being light enough to do tricks and yet thick enough to survive grinds and drops at 7-ply maple.
Personally, I really liked the colouring and design of the ‘Silver Flash’ board. The silver isn’t too bright: it’s more of a gun metal and looks very cool. The lightening strike is on both the grip and deck itself. I guess you could say that the bolt on the grip takes away a little of the grip, but it’s not really noticeable. I felt the metal trucks and the white wheels contrast really well with the design too.
Overall, this is a great looking board the performs amazingly well. If you are a beginner or someone who is just getting back into skating after some time off, this is going to be a great board to get you going and should last for sometime.
Nice but better, cheaper options out there
This is quite an expensive board and. Merkapa aren’t a company you usually associate with anything but kids starter boards. It’s a pretty nice package but doesn’t look or ride as well as, say, a cheaper and nicer looking Renner. It does come in a bag though (not something that wil last years). Not bad but better options out there.
exceeded my expectations
This is a really nice skateboard, I say it’s comfortably in the professional category, it’s a solid board that rides well, wheels and trucks are up to some bashing, it looks classy with nice printing that’s not cheesy, the ABEC 9 bearings are very nice, it’s a quality skateboard and I’m happy to give this top marks, you cannot go wrong with this.

I was sent this in return for my honest opinion on it.
This is better quality than I expected it would be. Initially, I thought it was a little more in price but having seen it’s made up of aluminum and maple wood, the build and design, I think it’s worth it.
This skateboard is a nice design, all black and gripped on top, a light coloured maple underneath, with an all seeing eye design. Then the wheels are black. You have a simple storage bag for the skateboard and the tools needed.
This skateboard is roughly 78cm long, the wheels are 4.5cm x 2.5cm, the board is 1cm deep and the height is around 9cm from the ground. This can hold up yo around 14st.
This definitely gains some speed, we live on a hill too, so we absolutely saw this fly. Even if you’re not on a hill, you can get some decent momentum going.
I would recommend this skateboard. I do think it’s quite well made, with good quality parts. The design is nice. Worth the price.

Fantastic looking board
This is a fantastic looking skateboard in black and gold. The design underneath looks brilliant and the axles in gold set it off brilliantly. White wheels instead of black just make it look fantastic and the build quality is top end along with a wheel tool and a nice carry bag this is a fantastic item and a brilliant Christmas present for someone. The price is excellent and well worth it definitely great value for money here.

Top quality, full size!
This is a super skateboard, very well constructed using 7 layer Canadian Maple. The skateboard is perfectly shaped, with excellent grip, and real quality wheels. The skateboard includes a protective storage bag, which is a nice touch.
The skateboard looks pretty smart too, was very simple, easy and quick to attach the wheels (using the provided tool), which are smooth and frictionless for fast skating!
My grandson loves this, it is overall a substantial feeling skateboard, definitely not to be confused with many cheapo ones available. This is great for the more adventurous skateboarder that likes to perform stunts and tricks, or just more standard use, a superb all-rounder.
All in all, a great quality skateboard, good value too. Anyone that has used a skateboard knows it often goes hand in hand with bumps and scrapes, so helmet, knee, elbow, knee protectors etc is advised. My grandson has all of the protection stuff — very important. Recommended.

My son is thrilled with this Merkapa skateboard. He went from his basic size skateboard to this massive 31 inch. This skateboard is well worth the money and quality is very good. The colour and design looks sleek and he already had many compliments.
Brilliant quality.
A great quality well built skateboard. In a beautiful wood finish and good weight. The design is flawless and the whole board looks really cool, from the sparkling slate colour on the board to the pattern underneath. Comes with a cloth case to carry and store board. The wheels turn well and I’ve no doubt this will provide a fast ride.

A step up
A great quality board that looks good too.
Even comes with it’s only little tote bag as well.
This is the next step up from some of the beginner boards that you get. It has faster bearings (so keep that in mind if buying for an absolute beginner) and is made of really strong wood.
The colour combination of the trucks with the board design is really spot on.
This has made my 11yo very happy.
