A really good doorbell!! Excellent video quality and works flawlessly
I have had this this video doorbell for over a year so I felt now was a good time to review it. The doorbell was simple to install and well packaged with clear instructions. The 1080p video quality is excellent and gives a wide field of view of my driveway. The software is very easy to use, it takes minutes to setup and then your good to go. The motion capture works really well, basically as someone approaches the door it triggers the video recording when they are within a certain distance. I have the motion capture set to low and it is just right and captures people just at the right point approaching my door. This has proved really useful in capturing parcel deliveries, postmen approaching and seeing when family members return home after school / work or are going out.
When someone rings the doorbell it alerts you on your mobile and you can then have a two way conversation and see them in real time. This has meant that parcel deliveries are never missed, even when I’m away from home or on holiday, I have been able to instruct the delivery where to leave your parcel. Also being able to monitor the video at any point is an excellent security feature, it gives you peace of mind that your home is safe when your away.
The battery life has proved to be excellent, it lasts for months before it needs recharging, you can then simply remove the door bell, charge via USB and it’s good for another few months, rinse and repeat 🙂
The fact it records to internal storage is what made me purchase this as there are no need for costly subscriptions, you have everything you need out of the box. You can simply choose the date and event you need to replay, you can save the clips, send them to whats app, whatever you need to do, it’s possible. The interface for replaying the clips is easy and intuitive, it is very well designed.
Overall this is an amazing piece of kit for the price, if you need a door bell that is inexpensive, provides excellent video quality, has good battery life, is easy to use and has in built ample storage, then this does the job really well.

I’ve had this doorbell 2 years now and I have to say that I’m really impressed. I also got one for me parents. My advice would be to purchase spare batteries and a charger, we did that and it works out perfectly. I’ve never had any issues with the cloudedge app, it’s working away well I’ve recommended this product to lots of people. Hopefully it will last another few years

Not quite good enough
Had this since 23rd June 2020.my only grip is it picks up a bus going diagonally from the camera. But when someone is walking up towards the camera it doesn’t pick up till they are virtually in the door. The camera has a direct line of our 20 foot path. So not impressed with this. I was hoping for updates to fix this issue but no.
Great quality video doorbell - Easy to set up and use
As our living level is upstairs from our front door we were often missing deliveries as they don’t wait long enough for us to get downstairs and answer the door. Being able to answer the doorbell via an app on a mobile, whether home or elsewhere, has been brilliant; No more missed deliveries!
The video is incredibly clear, the microphone is good and picks up voices well, and the speaker is great too, allowing you to answer from your phone app and speak to your visitor without opening the door. This allows us to ask visitors to wait, direct them where to leave deliveries, or even hold a conversation (we did this for about 10mins with a tradesman; We were unfortunately away from home when they came to discuss our job but we still managed to discuss in detail – he was so impressed he is now going to buy one for his own home).
We found this super easy to set-up and install – the instructions were very clear and easy to follow, and the Android app very easy to install and link to the bell.
The battery duration, so far, seems fair; After being installed around 2 weeks ago, being rung several times a day some days, and even initial curiosity of novelty meaning we sneaked a good few looks through the app even when not rung, the battery is still sitting at 62%. That said, we have motion detection turned off as our entry path is shared with several neighbours so expect it would be going off all the time.
Being truly “wireless” means we have no cables, either for power or chimes, which is exactly what we wanted. Even with our wi-fi router being upstairs and at the other side of the building, the doorbell stick gets a strong signal.
The only thing I would add is that as it is a (usb) rechargeable battery we may buy a spare to be able to swap over and ensure no downtime to recharge.

Good quality 1080p wireless video doorbell - Highly recommended
I’ve had this 1080p wireless video doorell for just under a month and just given it the first full charge. We live on a busy street with lots of passing traffic & people which discharges it quicker than expected and may look at wiring power. This bell comes with a remote ring/chime. The whole setup and installing process was really easy and has worked flawlessly since day 1 with my android phone.
