A good first-time microscope for Secondary School Students.
The microscope seems to be quite sturdy. The test slides included demonstrate the main capabilities of the instrument. The illumination is adjustable and the different filters are quite useful in adjusting contrast and helping moderate eye fatigue. I haven’t tried the phone attachment yet, it does appear quite small and mobile phones are getting larger so that may present a problem. Two criticisms one the staging doesn’t move and two the power cable is quite short and attaches to the front of the microscope. Overall I am satisfied that the microscope represents quite good value for money.
