An excellent camera with amazing features. The human detection works perfect and the picture quality is very good. Installation and set up was easy. This camera also works well in a Canadian winter!

Camera did not work well, contacted customer service. They tried to make it work right and couldn't do it so they sent a replacement camera which we were able to get working correctly and are happy with.

Genbolt Camera
I have had my camera up and running now for a week or so. All is fine with it .I use it to watch the back of the house garden/garage and the cars. Happy with what it does, and is a really good camera for the price you pay ..Takes a little time to get use to with it’s different options and settings, but just keep checking and read the manual and it’s features,
and you soon get how it works with the app.
Really pleased with this camera
I can’t comment on ease of Installation because I had an electrician fit it. However, it was very easy to set up the camera, and the accompanying manual was very clear in its instructions.
Picture quality and night vision is excellent.
Customer service has been second to none. They contacted me first via email. I had a couple of separate queries and they have been very prompt and helpful in their responses.
Money well spent in my opinion. The camera was recommended to me by a relative who also have one. To date I have had no regrets.

Je suis trs content de l’achat de cette camra qui me permet de surveiller les alentours de ma maison. Trs bonne dtection des visiteurs avec encadrement du sujet et une grande nettet de l’image permettant d’avoir aussi un grand zoom pour afficher les dtails. La vision de nuit m’a permis d’enregistrer des sangliers environ 30 m. Le visionnage des vidos et photos est simple et les diffrents paramtres de gestion de l’application sont conviviaux. Le paramtrage de la camra l’aide d’un smartphone prend environ 3 minutes pour une liaison filaire et 5 mn pour une liaison wifi. La notice est trs explicite. Pensez acheter une carte MicroSD au format FAT32 ( format ncessaire pour voir vos enregistrements de la carte SD ). Rapport qualit / prix imbattable.
NVR onvif compatible
Really good camera for the price. ONVIF as well so my Xvision NVR found the camera easily. I was also able to control the camer a via PTZ on my phone and NVR, camera also auto tracks which i didnt even realise and is a good driveway light.Images are fines day and night ,I wouldnt hesitate to buy this again!!
I recently installed the GENBOLT security camera at my home and I am extremely satisfied with its performance. The video quality is remarkable and the night vision works well, giving me added security even when I’m not around. The motion detection is accurate and I appreciate the prompt alerts it sends to my phone. The setup process was simple and the app is intuitive, allowing me to easily monitor my home from anywhere. The camera is well-built and its weather-resistant feature is a plus, making it a versatile option for both indoor and outdoor use. Compared to the other security camera brands I have used (Wyze, etc.) the video quality is much better and the connection to the live streaming from the camera is much quicker

Manual needs uprating
Could have a more detailed manual to explain how erase clears format on SD card as well as pictures.

The camera is excellent overall and setup is very simple.
The standalone Access Point (AP) mode was an essential feature for my needs where camera is deployed in a remote location without internet connection. The only thing to pay attention in this mode is that it does not start recording again on its own after power failure, you need to reconnect with your phone once for it to record again. To overcome this limitation, I have added a battery backup to my setup. Note that on a standard deployment with internet access this is not an issue.
The phone app is really good and does all what you might expect. However the browser app relies on IE and ActiveX which are outdated technologies. It does run on newer browsers but with less features. The auto cruise settings are also very useful.
User documentation is helpful and technical support is excellent, response by email comes within less than 24 hours.
I am really happy with my camera up to now. We’ll see how it does through this coming canadian winter.

This is my second genbolt. Clear 5MP image, nice PTZ. Works well from my phone, and I’m able to connect it to home assistant to record video and images to an off site location when the home alarm is triggered.

Bit large, easy to set up. Could do with bit more zoom,pic quality could be a bit better for a 5 mp. But seens pretty reliable after 6 weeks.

So much better than I expected
Everything about this camera was so much better than I expected, the size and build quality was better, the installation and setting up was easier than expected, the quality of this 5MP camera is really good too.
You can easily recognise people due to the excellent quality of the picture. The Ai tracking is great as it actually follows people as they would normally move out of frame. Playing back pictures and videos from the installed SD card is easy on my iPad and downloading footage to keep is easy too. Not yet found any faults or bad stuff, the worst I can come up with is “alarm” footage length is not adjustable and only records in 14 second bursts so you have to play back multiple files if the action goes on for longer than 14 seconds. It would be great if this was adjustable or was 2 minutes but 14 seconds is too short in pretty much every instance.
Absolutely fantastic system and would buy again in a heartbeat, excellent value too at under 70. Highly recommended.

I have tried several small cameras for surveillance without finding a good one untill now.
This little camera is really worth the price which was not high at all.
The picture is clear and the set up is really easy.
Have to be located on the right place.. it’s 360’/90’..

Generally good but...
Is sometimes slow to react despite very strong wifi. Doesnt always pick up movement and when it does will stop following randomly. Picks up odd things like doors and traffic cones, so much for ‘intelligent human movement’! Sometimes wont open to view. When it does work it works well but given a choice i should have paid more and maybe got better. Would have also been handy if it could have been mounted from the top as its under a soffit, instead of having to screw vertically.

New Genbolt 5MP camera.
This is a brilliant camera to protect the rear of our home. We already have one of the genbolt 2MP cameras at the front but we wanted to have one at the back too. When we looked on amazon we found the new 5MP one. 70 to protect your home!!
We received very quickly by post, we installed it with no problem. It was so easy to add the 2nd camera to the APP to see both cameras. The picture quality is fantastic. I have set it up to detect any human movement in back garden, protecting our pond, shed, greenhouse. Also if my husband is in the garden, and I’m in the house, I can speak to him via the app!! I would definitely recommend to my family and friends. 5MP camera is brilliant. Thank you Genbolt.
As soon as see the box you know your on to a winner as the quick guide is already on the box. When you open the box you are greeted with a large printed manual which contains very detailed instructions, which many items don’t include anymore. The camera is fairly heavy which gives you confidence of the quality of the camera. Setting up was a doddle as the app guides you through the process. The quality of the display is clear, the tracking of areas is fantastic. The contents are well packaged as well.
I will defiantly be purchasing more cameras from Genbolt as I can’t fault the quality and ease of the product.

The setting up of the camera is straight forward, I’m not a camera geek so I
had problems setting up. After contacting GENBOLT and speaking to Claire,
( she phoned me ) she sorted it out. Also emailed me with information of camera time setting, explained the application of what normal mode, colour mode, and auto mode done.

A superb product, the set up was very clear and user friendly with lot of extras I didn’t expect like pre set zonal areas and zoom function. The clarity on the camera in HD mode is fantastic. Gives me peace of mind now I can monitor my overseas property remotely from UK.

We wanted a video camera that could watch over a bit of land behind our house so we could get photos and videos of foxes, deer etc. It was looking like it would have to be a few hundred quid for a “professional” security camera, and then I came across this one. I have to say, we couldn’t be more impressed! Excellent picture quality in daytime and in the dark, with a range of probably up to about 10m from the infra-red LEDs. The remote control works well and “human tracking” also tracks surprisingly well, together with general motion detection and lots of options for saving pictures or video images to an SD card (not included, note!). The camera is compatible with the Raspberry Pi MotionEye/MotionEyeOS system too so we could build a network of these cameras very cheaply if we wanted to.
The app and camera were up and running faultlessly and it’s never needed to be restarted due to crashing or freezing. An unexpected bonus is that the app can access the camera from anywhere, once the camera has internet access, including live footage!
All in all I am amazed at what we’ve got for the price. We’ll probably end up with another one or two as general security cameras now, and I’m happy to recommend them to friends and family.

good camera hd picture great just this human tracking not perfect it seems to pick up objects like a wheelie bin thinking it’s a person even though it’s stationary tried sensitivity control but not good and sometimes camera is pointing at the side of my wall looking at my satellite dish

I bought this camera for front door. Very easy to set up and I bought this camera for 5MP picture quality. The picture quality is very good. Night auto flood light and picture in colour is good at night time. Camera tracks the human and also goes back to pre- set up spot. It is a good camera at budget price. It is a bit tricky to fit to the wall overall I am very happy with the camera for the price I have paid.
Great image quality and a great Price!
Having a few other Genbolt CCTV cameras, when I needed another to cover the last part of my property and where I park one of my cars on a busy main road, I had no thought other than to order from the same supplier of the Genbolt series again.
Even better there was a newer version of the camera. It is superb with really clear image quality and all the features we look for are packed into it too, Human recognition and following, Zone selection, Spotlight, Alarm, Facility to upload to the cloud or SD card and so easy to retrieve captured images or video directly from the Phone App.
Easy to install and to attach to the wall too, with an solid mounting method.
I will probably buy two more of these cameras for my business premises too. A1 5*

The easiest security camera to set up ever,done in 35 second s, picture excellent bit more to fiddle about with when using pan and tilt than my other type I have notice you can’t see so far in the dark with this one without the auto light on what helps but it does have a good clear zoom the best I’ve had
This is very good value for money, & for a non geek, easy to set up. Instructions not good but e mail support very quick & helpful, would buy again.
I bought this camera for recording wildlife (mainly birds) in the garden which is why I went for 5MP. Picture and video quality are excellent. Because of the wide viewing angle, the camera doesn’t meet my particular needs but that doesn’t stop this being an excellent CCTV cam. I have connected it to an off-grid 100W solar PV/battery/inverter combo and it works fine so I would definitely consider the solar options Genbolt offer. The camera was easy to set up – I started on p5 of the User Manual and followed the instructions. I am still learning about all its capabilities as this is the first CCTV unit I’ve used. Customer service is excellent – quick and comprehensive.

I was looking for a HD camera with a mobile head to cover a wide area in my back garden. 5MP HD resolution is very impressive in this camera. I fixed it close to a power supply and was able to cover my back garden. The camera head can rotate to achieve whatever angle you want and I am planning to fix it to a wall.
Happy with the Genbolt app as it’s easy to use and setup.
I bought this camera to keep an eye on my driveway and warn me about strangers. It does the job superbly and I recommend it to anyone. It was easy to setup, just plug it in to your wifi router and enter the wifi id and password and then all it needs is a mains socket. I particularly like the infra red night vision, see first photo taken at night (really) and the “humanoid” detection, see second video. I set mine up with a128GB sd card which records 24×7 and keeps the last rolling 2 weeks of recordings. I also set it to send me an email whenever an “intruder” is detected and ping my phone. It just works and is so worth the money!

I have been looking for an outdoor camera with bright Floodlight and am so happy to find one with Genbolt.
I am very impressed with the product quality and performance. Strongly recommend this security camera.
Set up was super easy. After loading the app on the phone all I had to do was to scan the QR code. All wires connected and could see myself live on my phone with great picture quality.
My house is in front of woods, it gets very quiet and dark, I feel comfortable and safe after fixing this camera. Once motion is detected in dark, Camera will turn on the flood lights and notify you. So, this serves as 2 in one-flood light and camera.
I have fixed the camera next to my main door and using it as a video doorbell with two-way audio.
I am Impressed with strong WiFi signal, I have installed Genbolt app on an old phone and able to run live 24×7 for constant monitoring.
