This tray is large and extremely sturdy I love it. The only drawback is it that it’s very close to the desk when you slide it back in. You can’t use the keyboard at all when it’s retracted inside the desk which is a bummer because sometimes I liked to do that with my older tray and sit closer. Otherwise it’s very strong and you can add a lot of weight and pressure to it without it budging. Granted your desk can support it.

Good product, fit my slightly thicker office desk really well. My boys said it was a bit difficult to follow assembly instructions. I saw it already installed and I love it.

I bought this for a desk that is 2.7″ thick as the spec in the description says the clamps will work on a desk up to 2.7″ thick. This is a lie the clamp can only go up to a 2.4″ thick desk. The specifications inside the box say it’s up to 2.4″ so whoever wrote the Amazon ad got it wrong.

The tray itself is sturdy, the support arms are also sturdy metal.

Ergonomics I only give it a 3 as the tray is set in elevation you cannot adjust the height it hangs at so your stuck with where the clamps hold it.

The slides for extending and stowing the tray decent, they are stiff enough that you probably won’t have to worry about the tray moving while you are typing.

Assembly was fairly straight forward. They include extra hardware so you shouldn’t have any issues being short changed a screw. You will need a Phillips screw driver, they include an Allen wrench. Assembly takes about 15 minutes.

Lo mejor del producto es la calidad que tiene, es un peln mas cara que las dems, pero se nota en las terminaciones luego una vez lo tienes montado.
En la bandeja me cabe sin problemas el teclado y el ratn y se extrae sin problemas sin ruidos.

The product is good, comfortable and sturdy. But installations instructions are terrible. I have an engineering background and it took me some time to understand the drawing and after that first try of assembly was wrong. On the second try it worked.

The only negative is the instructions could be a bit more clear but if you can put together ikea you can put together this. It’s fairly intuitive. It’s very sturdy and much needed for working from home. I didn’t want to screw anything into my desk in case I need to change configuration around in the future.

All of the pieces are very sturdy, the packaging was well organized with easy to understand instructions. The assembly and installation was very straightforward. The inclusion of a wrist rest was a great extra feature — it wasn’t a priority for me when looking for a keyboard tray, but now that I have it, it really makes a difference in comfort. Overall, I’d say this is a solid product that is reasonably priced given the high quality.

I ordered this product so I would not have to drill holes in my desk to mount a keyboard tray. It is very good, heavy duty quality. Assembly was very easy. The only difficult part was tightening to clamps down to hold the keyboard in place. The bolt was a tiny bit larger than the hole to thread it through, so I really had to work hard to turn it. I still do not have the right side completely tight and will have to find someone stronger than me to finish tightening it down. I would highly recommend!

Every keyboard tray is full of bad reviews, so I was very worried buying any of them.
But this tray has been great, I work from home 8 hours a day, so always using my computer. My desk is too high for ergonomic typing, this keyboard tray solved the problem. It works just fine. Much sturdier than I expected.

It’s sturdy and feels nice, I’d buy it again. Are the instructions great? No, but let’s be honest, this isn’t a complicated product. Just pay attention to the pictures, look at the pieces, and think for a few minutes before trying to assemble. It’s not complicated.

The product itself is made of very heavy material and is not recommended for tables that are fragile.
It feels very solid, I use it in my room because the table is small and the under desk makes the table a bit more empty.
Watch out for the front and back of the table when installing it, I installed it wrong at first.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersEs una bandeja sper-slida y muy bien diseada.

Fits my keyboard and mouse perfectly, no mouse pad needed. Slides completely out of the way when not needed. Looks great with my black desk. Well padded clamps do not harm the desk. I recently purchased an adjustable standing desk from Amazon (UNICOO – Crank Adjustable Height Standing Desk) and it didn’t come with a keyboard tray. This tray works well with the desk, frees up desktop space and provides a more ergonomic height for typing when sitting or standing. I work from home and have been using it daily for over 3 weeks with no issues. Installation was simple, dimensions as indicated in the listing, it slides in and out easily, and doesn’t wobble when in use. The track does hit the support bar at the back of the desk when it’s slid as far back as it will go (see pic), but I knew it would be a tight squeeze based on the listed dimensions. I think it would prob slide in another inch if the desk was deeper or the placement of the desk support bar was different (circled front area in pic where it sticks out
a bit), but it doesn’t bother me. That said, definitely make sure to measure the depth under your desk and look for anything that might obstruct the keyboard tray sliding all the way under if the potential for it to stick out a bit bothers you.

    Sturdy and Functional

I’d buy this item again in a minute, but I think I was gracious in deducting only one star for the Impossibly vague assembly instructions. Before you order, check to make sure your desk isn’t too thick or too narrow, then prep yourself for some puzzle solving. I performed the first step three times before I got it right. And you have to perform the first step twice – once for the left and once for the right side. Studying customer-submitted reviews, photos and videos helped a LOT. A lighted magnifying glass helped too, as the lousy instructions are tiny.

My package included a few extra bits of hardware. You haven’t necessarily missed a step if you have leftovers, but of course you have no way of knowing that when you’re in the middle of the assembly. Adds to the frustration and confusion.

Assembly was infuriating but with patience it was worth it (to me). The finished result is a robust, heavy-duty keyboard tray that can be easily transferred from one desk to another if that’s ever needed. A really solid piece. You just have to work for it!

I’m torn on this. It’s really good, actually one of the best I’ve seen, but it’s so expensive. I tested one for about thirty dollars less that was nearly as good and one that was half the price and nearly as good, but this is better. I want to give it an accurate rating for quality, so I am giving five stars, but the price should be factored in and I really do think that there are better ways to spend your hard earned cash. I’d look for a similar style that costs less, even though this is great. If you can afford it easily, of course it’s a great option, but there are similar products for less. Good luck in your search.

I love this tray. I bought it because i have an ikea malm desk that’s 2″ thick and this is one of the few trays I found that can be attached to a table that thick.

However, I would say at 2″ thickness, I do not have a lot of height clearance. I use a Logitech Ergo K860 and Logitech MX Vertical. The keyboard is curvy and the peak of the kayboard pad hits the table top if i try to push the tray under the table. I put the mouse on top of the table when i am done working for the tray. So please, use a bigger C clamp to increase height clearance.

Using this under tray was a lot quieter than the old one I had to replace. It’s also a lot more ergonomic as it came with a full size gel pad. The back stop also makes sure my wireless keyboard does not fall off. Installation guide as a tad bit confusing to me, but after picking it up and visualizing it, it become more clear. The best part is how close to the desk it sits below. Other trays were too low under the desk and my legs kept touching it. This one sits much closer and my chair doesn’t need to move , as well as the arms aren’t in the way either. I LOVE IT and highly recommend it.

A well designed keyboard tray with every detail well thought out and built. Even the cardboard box is perfectly built. However, as others have commented, unfortunate that the same meticulous and diligent effort did not go into writing up the instruction sheet. First, the print is to small. I had to scan the sheet and blow it up to display it on my 24 inch monitor. Secondly, even with the huge display on my computer monitor, i had to guess at what some of the instructions meant. This raised the question as to why the manufacturers didn’t give this detail more attention. Once assembled, it is a great ergonomic addition. I love this under desk keyboard tray!

This tray does fit a 3″ table but the only thing that fits are the clamps. If you use a table more than 2.5 inches you will need a thin membrane keyboard otherwise it won’t fit a regular sized mechanical keyboard.

Otherwise the installation was very easy and the tray is sturdy. If only the section that held up the tray was lower..

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’m a digital artist and most of my desk space is taken up by my drawing tablet, so I needed to get a below-desk keyboard tray. I just bought a new desk and didn’t want to damage it so I opted for one that would clamp on. I was a bit concerned after reading reviews for other clamp-on keyboard trays that complained the tray would lean back when any weight was put on it and was a little bit skeptical about the reviews I read on here about it’s sturdiness, but wow am I impressed.

It is seriously so sturdy and well-made, I’m very satisfied with my purchase. I do agree with some people that the illustrations in the instructions are pretty small and a little bit confusing but I was able to put it together without much difficulty and I have pretty limited experience assembling things.

Overall I would recommend this – the extra money is worth it for a well-made product in my opinion.

This keyboard tray was a pain to put together. There is only one page of directions, but the pictures are small and could be much more clear. It included the hex wrench but not the necessary screw driver. Once it’s together, I mostly like it. The clamps are stable and seem secure. The drawer slides in and out smoothly and quietly. You can’t just give it a push, it’s a tighter track. But I suppose that’s better for longevity. I do wish it was just a few inches wider. Maybe I have a large keyboard, but I feel there’s barely room for the mouse.

Once assembled and attached to the desk, this is a very functional under the desk keyboard tray. It is solid, meaning it does not wobble or otherwise move while in use. All of the parts are quality. None of them are made of plastic or other lightweight materials. A wrist rest is included if needed. My keyboard is too large to allow room for it, and anyway, I prefer to rest my forearms on my chair’s armrests. It is a nice added “extra” should it be needed in the future.

I have one criticism. Installation is a very frustrating experience. The printed instructions are printed in very fine print and very difficult to read and follow. Indeed, I think I can honestly say from my own experience that if you follow the printed instruction you will not be successful. I finally gave up on the instructions and viewed the installation video that is included in the product’s description.

Once installed, I am very pleased with it.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersAboveTEK Large Keyboard Tray is a nice addition to my desk and allows me to be in a more ergonomic position while I use my keyboard and mouse. It was fairly easy to set but I would make sure you measure fist because it it large. It slides out and in easily without much force. Maybe I have it on wrong because it tends to slant down a little. Took about less than 30ish mins to assemble. Be aware of the measurements because the C-clamp covered my button to rise my desk, so I had to move it bit off center. Thankfully, the steel slide did not hit the desk’s legs. I like the wrist rest because it is the right amount of squishy and even with the warm weather it does not feel sticky. This tray made room on my desk with leaving space on top for my notebook.

This is the perfect keyboard under-tray for anyone looking to make the most of the desk or table space available.
As someone that works flexibly, I could be anywhere from my office to my dining room, from backstage at an event to a coffee shop. This attached very easily and can be easily stored away alongside your device. The clamps are wide enough to fit onto any table. It’s also sturdy enough to use full time too!
This is incredibly solid when set up – and is big enough for both keyboard and mouse. Plenty of bearings that can roll in and out very smoothly. The addition of the wrist rest is quite useful too. A great all round keyboard tray!

When my husband first got a standing desk we just stacked four similar-sized hardback books to go under to raise his keyboard. So we were excited not to have to move the books back and forth. Overall so far it’s good. It isn’t…. aesthetically pleasing. The design isn’t sleek, slim, or modern but it does get the job done. Overall it’s worked the last four days of using it and the slide away function is really nice. Something he also likes is that it doesn’t wobble or move as you are typing, even if you have one of those annoying mechanical keyboards (hah) which definitely is a plus.

    THE GOOD:
    ————–
    * Easy to install.
    * Non-permanent. Easy to remove and install if you ever change tables.
    * Spacious, actual keyboard tray is 26.7 x 11 inches.
    * Bonus wrist pad included.
    * C-Clamps are very high quality with 2.7 inch jaw capacity.
    * C-Clamps are made of steel, so take advantage of it if you have magnetic accessories. On one side, I have a can of paper-clips stuck to it. On the other side, I placed an earth magnet hook, so I can hang headphones, cables, etc.
    * Truly does not wobble as advertised.

    THE BAD:
    ———–
    * Nothing at all! The best part of having the keyboard under my table now is the desk space to eat food. LOL! The black clamps may not be aesthetically please, but they are unobtrusive enough, and the ability to remove the keyboard to upgrade the desk or to get under the desk to do some work is invaluable. I have all my PC, NAS, etc. devices under my desk, so the ability to remove the tray completely is a must. 5-Stars all the way!

Heavy duty, high quality keyboard tray with useful steel clamps...

I was really excited when I ordered this for my home office desk, but I didn’t think ahead of time to see if it would work for a desk with a curved front. Spoiler alert, it really doesn’t. I tried it on my wife’s desk, but her desktop is thicker than mine, and that means the thumb screws for the clamps poke down below the level of the shelf and bump her legs.

Build-wise it seems sturdy enough. The drawer slides are nice and smooth and quiet. The shelf held onto her desk well, the tray was very stable, even with the full weight of her arms resting on it. The wrist pad is so-so, not super high quality but not the worst. If we had kept it on her desk, she wanted to remove it and use her own, but that’s a personal preference rather than a quality issue.

This is a large keyboard tray which fits under your desk. Some assembly required and it may take about half an hour, although it is relatively easy. The main hurdle is that the instructions, while adequate, have diagrams that a little bit small. Once you figure out what parts are supposed to go where, the assembly is not too hard. You also do have a fix a couple of adhesive pads to protect your table and some non-adhesive pads as well. After you’ve installed it, it rolls in and out pretty smoothly. It is a nice under table keyboard tray that is very handy and should last a while.

Easy to install this tray (watch the knees, there is an underhang on your desk after installing. You have to get used to it being there.)

The tray lets you roll away your keyboard and have it at typing level (lower than desk..I know, you didn’t take typing but believe me, the height is important; it’s lower than the desk.)

Rolling it away lets you have more desk real estate. I’ve had a keyboard tray for a decade and a half at work and it’s getting really shabby but I don’t care: I type all day and the ergonomics are helpful to my wrists.

This drawer is much more substantial than I was expecting. I was thinking of adding it to our dining room table to use the computer but our dining room table is not wide enough to allow it nor strong enough to take the weight. It is made well and requires some assembly. It is packaged well to transport without damage.

We really liked the AboveTEK large keyboard tray. It was easy to install, and looks quite elegant. It is very useful in function. They even supply a nice quality gel pad to rest wrists for keyboard and mouse.

The birch color is expensive looking, and I liked it best in the selection for my tastes, and it goes very well with my bamboo desk as you can see in the photo.

It is very sturdy, and to my surprise, no wobble at all. I like that the hooks have 3M pads so they don’t spoil our desk. Easy to slide in and slide out.

Also AboveTEK is a reputed company with its own website, address based in USA. The packaging was quite good, and it’s a nice heavy box with a good ring to it.

    Elegant keyboard tray

I bought it for my son’s desc that is pretty small. It’s unbelievable how much space this keyboard tray can save! It came very well packed and the assembly instructions were easy to follow. I highly recommend this product if you’re looking to free up some space at your home or office desc.
